WOW that book was depressing. I had no idea who to feel the most sorry for, Sagenose, Hawkwing, or Leafstar. I think the saddest part, was Hawkwing thinking about how he was going to be reunited with Pebbleshine someday, and him having all these hopes of her being alive, and knowing that...she's dead, that he's never going to see her again, at least not while he's alive.
I did like this book, but it seemed like one of the only bright spots in this bleak book was Sandynose.
He is such a sweet and caring cat, he is honestly one of the best cats alive in the series.
All of his scenes made me smile, especially his reunion with Plumwillow and their kits, though, I felt bad for Hawkwing.
I wonder how things would have turned out if he and Plumwillow had become mates, I highly doubt Finleap and Twigbranch would have been a thing.

Which one is your least favorite? Mothflightโs Vision That's cool, I'm going to have to read Dawn of the Clans before I read that one, though, she didn't seem very likeable in that Squirrelflight's Hope spoiler I saw

There's something I realized while reading this book...
Sandynose is A LOT younger than I thought, I was under the impression that he wasn't much younger than Squirrelflight, but he was an apprentice when Cherrytail was pregnant with Hawkwing, and Hawkwing was a new warrior when Pebbleshine announced that she was expecting kits. So, that means, that he's probably a few years younger than Jayfeather

It's my least favorite of the SkyClan SEs. Does Firestar's Quest count as a SkyClan SE? I haven't read SkyClan's Destiny yet so I can't compare ALL of the SkyClan SEs yet. I think SkyClan's Destiny is the only SkyClan related book I have left to read

I think SkyClan's Destiny is the only SkyClan related book I have left to read I personally count it as one, since it's still about SkyClan even if it's from a ThunderClan cat's PoV. SD is actually my favorite SE out of all of them.

What are the other two in your top 3? Crowfeather's Trial and Crookedstar Promise Cool Crookedstar's Promise was really good, except for that dumb Rainflower, though, I felt bad for her when she died

Glad you liked it, though it's one of my most hated SEs. I can understand why, it was super depressing. Why didn't you like it? Personally, I could not stand Hawkwing's POV as he was constantly angry at someone and was always too stubborn to actually think about his actions before making them. Which helped result in Darktail driving out SkyClan. It was just really hard to get through. Also didn't like how we're supposed to feel bad about Duskpaw dying, but we hardly know anything about him to really feel like we lost someone important to the plot. It was more of "why do I care about this cat who died that I only knew for a few pages"? And Hawk x Pebble, which was supposed to make the readers feel bad, really did not make me care in the long run. The couple was incredibly rushed and they seemed to be looking for a Fire x Sand like couple, but wanted to execute it in the span of just one SE. The fact that Hawkwing hated Pebbleshine so much for absolutely no good reason really bugs me. Like, if you are going to have the relationship between the characters be enemies to lovers, give them a reason to hate each other. A genuinely good reason. And since Pebbleshine had no real personality throughout the book other than "Hawkwing's love interest", I could've cared less when she got captured. In general, it did have a good plot- it's just that either I couldn't care less for the some of the characters who suffered (because they were more prominent in just this book and yet were given little to none personality) or I just really despised them, specifically Hawkwing. I feel like Hawkwing worked better as a side character without a POV, because as AVoS went on my hate lessened for him, but I don't particularly like him much (especially in SS and DN).

Those are all really good points, I especially agree with the Hawkwing x Pebbleshine thing. I think a lot of it stems from the fact that I'm tired of couples going from hating each other, to suddenly being mates, it's happened quite a few times in this series, especially with main characters. I also don't think that they had that much chemistry, I thought he had wayyyy more chemistry with Plumwillow, but that's just my thoughts on it, I do really like Sandynose x Plumwillow as well, and they had Dewspring, and that's a huge plus
