This is Griffin, my kitty. He’s a lot puffier normally, but these were taken during the summer. Apparently I don’t have any pictures of my other cats on my phone, but when I get home next week, I’ll take some and show you my other kitties. Two are black cats, and one is a blue-grey cat.

All my cats are /were my babies-even 25 pound Kai. He was a mama's boy, wanting to be near me, on me, and loved being cuddled. Darwin is the same way. But no matter how old they get they are my babies and are even after they are gone.

Well yes. But that particular part does not make you weird. Well it is weird that someone my age is here, but, the writer in me is at fault here because if not for that I may not have joined. I was looking for a place to share my story with people who also liked to write Warrior;s fan fic.

So what got you into warriors, then Phantom? You’re not exactly the normal demographic, and idk if I would have gotten into the series now if I just found them phantomstar57

So what got you into warriors, then Phantom? You’re not exactly the normal demographic, and idk if I would have gotten into the series now if I just found them phantomstar57 Well my reading tastes are in the genre of nonhuman/alien /animal main characters, so Warriors is exactly the kind of stories I like to read. I read Bluestar's Prophecy in 2009 when I found it in the Cosico book section. I read it and thought it was good, but didn't get into it then because I read too fast. Shift forward to the winter of 2014, when I was loading books onto my Kindle and found another Super Edition. I think it was Yellowfangs. I then understood the other, and re read it again, and well, I had to load the entire series and read from the beginning. Found myself thinking "Dang they need a few large Maine Coons here" many times, and the idea for Kyestorm and New Blood was born. Started writing in shortly after, and in the summer of 2014 found the Forums where I could share it.

That’s awesome! I think people shouldn’t limit themselves to certain types of books or what it’s “normal” for an age group to read, so it’s cool that you’re so into them! And i’m so excited to read lots of fanfics on here, including yours—just a week and a half and then the semester will be over!

I believe I have mentioned before that it was my grandmother (who is older than you, for a change of pace) who introduced me to Warriors. And she'd read most of the series at the time. She had a ton in her room and I'd often see them there - though she had to sell them when she moved. She still reads them on her Kindle sometimes I think.

If she ever joined this Forum she''d take my crown LOL. I think I have all the books on my Kindle. I download them as they come out. I'd bet she and I probably read the same kind of books as a kid / teen/ young adult. Two of my favs were The Shy Stegasaurus of Cricket Creek and The Moonball. OH and The Runaway Robot. Great old kids scifi. I think I still have those paperbacks in the attic.

The Last herald Mage by Mercedes Lackey is great too, And Shirley Murphy's Joe Grey mysteries are too, - mix of fantasy and crime solving.

XD I think the closest person in age that you've met on here is mid-twenties. Honestly, I'm glad you came here! It's been a lot of fun with you around. One really amazing thing about the internet is you get to interact with people you might not have before. Also, as a small promotional to Phantom, I have bought her book Khan and I would hands down suggest it to any cat lover. It is very well written and worth the time. Awww thanks so much, Minted!! I am glad, too. And soon I hope to get working on that last fic. Well, its the last one in libne, but there are more in my head. . .should I live long enough to write them all!
