Based on the game Animal Jam
For every world, dimension, and universe there exists a story of how it came to be. Sometimes there are many stories, and sometimes there is just one. Our Jamaa is of the latter kind, and our one story has been passed down for generations by those who treasure the mystery it holds. And I'm here to tell it to you today...
Once upon a time, or perhaps before time, there was nothing. And then, there was something. I'm no expert on creation, I really can't say how it all works. But that something, it thought. And that something, it called itself Zios. It appeared to be male in our eyes, as we later decided, though I don't believe universe creating deities have a gender. He, she, or it created it though, the universe.
Zios created many stars and planets, and set them in motion. His creatures, his children, grew and flourished in their many worlds, and he loved them all. But that did not fill the emptiness in his metaphorical heart. So Zios created his greatest masterpiece: from the essence of all beauty, kindness, and hope. From the spellbinding tails of fiery comets and the brightest centers of ancient stars.
We know of this second deity as Mira, a spirit who often takes the form of a grey heron. She is the epitome of what is good in our universe. She and Zios were happy together in their boundless world, and she was the inspiration for his final work: Jamaa. The world emerged from the boundaries of the impossible, and became the probable – beginning to grow and evolve into someplace special. The oceans and the sky, the mountains and the meadows. Plants and animals, magic and mystery, homes and journeys, beauty and light. They created all things good, and breathed life into their world.
The first of every animal, the alpha, was chosen by Mira, and so prepared the world for the coming of their kind, and told the stories of the great spirits in the sky. As time passed. the Jamaasians of the world looked up at the bright sky of day and saw Mira, the Sky Mother, and looked up at the dark sky of night and saw Zios, the Sky Father. And some remembered them. Where these spirits are now is a story for another time. Why jammers seem to have forgotten them? Also a story in its own way. Our ancient texts were scattered to the wind by changed values of the citizens of Jamaa. Change isn't always bad, but we must try to hold onto our past, if only to learn from the messages it holds. Some dismiss such legends as silly, childish, unimportant, or simply untrue. Yet a fine lines exists between such extreme labels and their counterparts. Who is to say what is true or untrue? We cannot tell one another what to believe. What is true for you is up to you, and you alone. However, I ask you not to decide upon what you feel by simply following what your eyes can observe. Seeing a spirit isn't quite possible. Seeing Zios is like seeing time, watching a mystery unfold, or witnessing a beginning and end in the same moment. A spirit exists in the world around us. Mira is in the shine of distant stars, the happiness in a pup's laugh, and the love between family and friends. Within our hearts.
So what is this story in the end? Just a story to be told around a warm fire with good friends. It is here to remind us of the mystery and wonder in the world, and of things yet unknown.

Animals. Jammers are basically just animals, but their body color can be almost anything. For example, a wolf can have fur ranging from white, to black with red swirls. The current list of available animals are: Wolf, Tiger, Monkey, Rabbit, Koala, Panda, Horse, Elephant, Fox, Penguin, Eagle, Owl, Falcon, Deer, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Lion, Snow Leopard, Cheetah, and Hyena. These animals have unique patterns as well as liking to wear clothing, armor, or even something as simple as just a bracelet. And because I said so, their paws, tails, wings, flippers, etc can function as hands to hold things. The first were chosen by Mira, granted immense power. However, it was then up to the Alphas to choose their successors. Some came from rags, others from riches. No one is ineligible. Some are just more qualified than others. There can only be one Alpha at a time. They are protectors and leaders, and know what is best for their Jammers. Also, Alphas are the only ones with magic. Phantoms first appeared through Dark Portals from their own world during the time where Jammers fought with each other. It is unknown why they came to Jamaa, but they seem to want to destroy it. Phantoms started to steal the animal's Heartstones, which caused the animal species to be trapped inside. They took all the Heartstones until there were only six animals left (Pandas, Koalas, Monkeys, Bunnies, Tigers and Wolves). The six remaining animals then started to gather and start an army to fight against the Phantoms. Later, after Mira and Zios' traveled to look for help, the Alphas came and helped with the military after being chosen by Mira and Zios to do so. When the Phantoms were defeated and started to flee, they defeated and kidnapped Zios, leaving behind his mask, and went into a Dark Portal. Mira followed them quickly into the portal as well. It is unknown what the Phantoms have done with the two guardian spirits. ~~~~ Phantoms look like the picture above, except in this rp they have retractable claws on each tentacle, a mouth with sharp fangs located beneath their eye, and a venomous bite. If you're bitten by a Phantom, you turn into one. There's an antidote, but the transformation happens too quickly most of the time. Every Phantom is can manipulate electric currents throughout their tentacles except the top two on their head. They can't shoot lightning bolts or anything though. Their bodies are solid, and actually covered in soft, smooth fur. When born, they are separated from their parents and given to a Pod, or group. This Pod is who they'll stay with for their lives. The Phantoms have a hierarchy. Starting with King (gold eye), Prince (red eye), Malign (purple eye) & Quash (black eye), Pacifist (blue eye) and then Slaves (orange eye) (bitten Jammers.) - King: Rules the kingdom of Phantoms, most powerful of his kind. Excluding his tentacles, he is 200 feet tall.
- Prince or Princess: Not actually biologically related to the king, who gives them immense strength and power. Excluding tentacles, they are eight feet tall
- Malign & Quash: Typical soldiers, though Quash Phantoms are large enough to crush multiple buildings at once. To become either, a Pacifist must kill. Malign are usually five to six feet tall.
- Pacifist: A Phantom who has never killed. Usually five to six feet tall.
- Slaves: Jammers who have been bitten by a Phantom and turned into one. No bigger than four feet tall.

Wip, will add to throughout rp This is a small map from the game to help represent where the main lands are. To help navigate and know where everything is, start at the star that says "You." The lands themselves are obviously going to be larger than a few buildings though!
Lands
Jamaa Township: Where the star is. It has the main clothing store, a big arcade, a small enclosure with a Mira Statute, a popular club called Club Geoz, a lounge called the Pillow Room, and the Diamond Shop, where rich Jammers go.
Kimbara Outback: The brown lands under the star. It's a dry land with only a select few areas of vegetation. Jamaa's main hospital is there as well. There's also a small pool with a waterfall falling into it, a perfect height for Jammers to jump off for some extra fun.
Appondale: To the left of the star. It has a big tree tip climb, and a museum beside out that overlooks a large plain, where many Jammers just chill. Popular place for holding public events or get togethers. It's like a savannah. Jamaa's main pet store is there too.
The Lost Temple of Zios: Slightly diagonal, lower right of the star. An old forest with lots of artifacts. In the middle is a fallen Zios statue. If enough Jammers sleep by it, rumor is that they'll see visions of the past. And a big, ancient temple is there, dedicated to the Sky Father. There, one can pay respect or explore what the temple has to offer.
Sarapia Forest: Diagonally upper right of the star. A forest again. It has lots of massively tall trees, so tall and spaced so far apart that bridges and ladders are needed to travel. There are a few plant and furniture stores there, as well as a movie theatre, which has a few games. On the ground area off Sarapia is a big fire pit. It never burns unless you dance. Another rumor, if enough Jammers dance around the glowing coals, that blue flames will appear in the shape of Mira.
Coral Canyons: The brownish lands to the right off Sarapia. Rocks and dirt form pathways and hollows to hold stores and such. One such store is Epic Wonders. If the Diamond Shop didn't exist, Epic Wonders would be the most expensive store.
Crystal Sands: To the right of the Lost Temple. Aside from Cub Geoz and Sarapia Movies, Crystal Sands is another good hang out. It's the beach land of Jamaa. It has lots of water, and water slides, and a few pools for close friends. It also has a Smoothie Shack, owned by a wolf named Anja, where the best smoothies around are made. Good for cooling down. There's umbrellas and towels to be borrowed to make yourself comfortable too.
Mt. Shiveer: Just above the star. Seals and penguin love this place. It's the icy area of Jamaa. Snow, ice and rocks, but fashioned in a way where you can walk to get places. There's a cold water pool, for those who can handle it, and an ice slide. However, there's thick coats and blankets sold at the Cocoa Hut so other animals can come tour for longer than two seconds without freezing. The Hut has a nice fireplace, and a station that makes hot chocolate, coffee and warm milk. With available toppings of course.
Territories Jamaa (The Lands Above)
Phantom Forest: A polluted land, the pollution always purple. From electric purple to a dark color where it looks almost black. Everything there is purple and polluted. The land, the water, the food. Everything, but they don't mind. They don't know anything else. Key areas in the Forest are the Phantom Factory, where Phantoms plan and make their ghastly inventions. The Phantom Fort is another, where the creatures gather for important meetings. An abandoned tower that a former Monkey Alpha, Graham, used to own. The Phantoms now use it as a prison.
Mission Base Camp: A mix of forest and plain, in the bottom left corner of the map is where it starts. A massive chunk of land, where only Warriors and Alphas know where it is though. Outside Jammers and Phantoms can't find it without someone telling them where it is or taking them there. There's the Arena, where big fights and Proving Battles are held. As well as small areas crafted to support combat training sessions. It has small homes/dens to house the trainees and Warriors as groups, as well as stations for passtime. Food, a few games and various lounging areas. Water is the main drink there, because the Jammers there need to stay healthy. But hey. On super hot days, a worker from Crystal Sands' Smoothie Shack comes to visit and make the famous drinks for the Jammers.
Home Central (WIP): A large chunk of land dedicated to the homes of Jammers. From small cottages, for those who like simple, to the grand dens that are fashioned to even look like castles or clubs, for those who can afford to spend a hefty amount of Diamonds.

Entering Ceremony: For those wishing to enlist in the Jamaasian army must find the Alphas. If they show promise in combat, even a tiny bit, they are taken in. A huge meeting is held at Mission Camp, where the Warriors and trainees are introduced to the newcomers. The newcomers state their name, speak for a minute or two, then on to the next joiner.
Proving Battle: Young warriors in training are pitted against live Phantoms, no higher than a purple eye though. Either purple or orange, and usually four Phantoms. The trainee must kill all the Phantoms without getting bitten. If they fail, the punishment is death. Not by the law of the Alphas, but because the Phantom Venom works so quickly, too quickly to get antidote to the trainee. Their mentor may interfere if they wish to stop the battle, but that means their apprentice will fail and the mentor is banished from the Mission Camp for a year.
Crowning: A massive feast is held for the trainees that are successful in becoming Warriors. If a trainee completes the Proving Battle, they are mentioned in the Speech an Alpha gives at the gathering, and the new warriors are the first to eat.
Fire Dance Ritual: In Sarapia, if Jammers dance around the famous Fire Pit, flames appear in the shape of Mira. It'll only be successful for pure-of-heart Jammers, and a random animal there will be granted one wish, but it must not be selfish.
Zios' Slumber Ritual: There is a fallen Zios statue in the forest where the Lost Temple is. If enough Jammers fall asleep around it, they will get glimpses of the past. And, a lucky Jammer may even get to talk to the Sky Father himself in the dream. This part of the ritual has yet to come true though.
Addressing: When approaching an Alpha, it is respectful to bow and address them as "Alpha (name)".
Transferring Status: When an Alpha dies, their successor is taken to the Lost Temple, and is ordered to sleep by the fallen statue of Zios. Alone. The new Alpha is not allowed to speak of what, or if anything, happened in their dream. However, the new Alpha always awakens with their new, full powers.
Heartstone(s): Magical artifacts, usually look like stone tablets with pictures of whatever animal. If they are free, so is the existence of said animal. If not, if they are stolen and locked away somehow, it's like a sudden, less bloody extinction.
Scammers: Exactly what it sounds like. Jammers pride themselves in trading, and there are many opportunities to get near anything out of it. So those who steal or truck others out of their stuff are treated very badly, so badly that they're banished to another area of living.
Gems: The common currency of Jamaa. They're flat, circular discs the size of a large coin, and each is a different color of the rainbow. There's a system though, that sorts everything out so you don't have to lug around piles of Gems.
Diamonds: The currency owned by higher class Jammers. Same system as Gems, so you don't lug them around.
