Emily could only laugh. Imagining her father at a golf club with someone who probably was a millionaire, or at least took on the appearance of one. "I may not let dad know about that." she chuckled after she swallowed a bit of breadstick. They were just so addicting. "Dad probably would never leave. I swear that man is almost too addicted to the sport!"
This was actually enjoyable to her. The girl who stayed inside all day, who stayed to herself with only a book or her one and only best friend to keep her company. The girl who could barely even talk to a guy without making a total fool of herself! How she hadn't screwed up so far, she would never know. But knock on wood she wouldn't mess up the night! Antonio actually seemed like a really nice guy.
"Wait, what kind of books do you have? I usually will read anything." she chuckled out, then took another bite out of her flatbread. Call her a dork or a dweeb or whatever have you, but Emily literally would read anything. Like Antonio, she too had read the textbooks from cover to cover. Sure people laughed at her, but she laughed at them when she would pass and others would fail.
Then Emily just shook her head, even waving a hand as a huge negative response. There was no way she could show him her drawings. "Ah... Um, you wouldn't like them." she answered, almost choking on a piece of lettuce. "They... They kind of are, uh..." Weird. she ended in her mind, unable to just flat out say it. What she drew was considered a strange genre to some. She loved anatomy, like, loved it. Constantly Emily would draw male or female bodies in poses to show the muscle tones of a certain limb, while including probably too much detail. And other times she would still draw anatomy, but a more weird version where she would add her own spin with added limbs or even mythical additives. Even her brother would call them creepy and weird.
Wine? Oh yeah, now it was getting good. "Aw come on. We don't have to let Charlie know." EMily joked with a sly wink, then she just chuckled and took a sip of water. "Besides, I'm twenty-six. I think I'm legal enough for a glass or two." Wine was always her favorite evening drink to sip on before bed while reading or drawing. It was always a good way to relax and toss away her stress over perfection.

(Sorry it took me this long to respond. I was too excited about something, and couldn't sit down to write. xD Sorry to hear that hopefully it gets better soon. ^^)
(I'm going to be honest here, and just say it. I don't have anything. I'm stumped here. Well I could give you a badly done forced out response, but I'd rather just admit I'm stumped. To be honest my mind keeps wanting to make Antonio a serial killer over a mafia godfather mainly because I'm currently reading Dexter. I'm also running out of stuff for rich playboy to say. Dinner date rps normally do this to me in all honesty. )

(Wait my muse is kicking up! If you don't like this idea just shoot it down, and we can go back to what we were about to do.)
(Instead of Charlie being killed what if ratted on the Parrino family, and the police moved in to arrest all of Antonio's top loyal guys. However Antonio knows a guy who changes his name Mainly cause I don't like that name anymore to Thomas Buckingham and he is moved to Alaska. Antonio/Thomas is now a simple joe living in Alaska. However Emily depending on if she sides with Antonio moves with him, and tries to talk him out of going on a murderous rampage... Why? Because Charlie the rat had become Charlie the Godfather of the Parrino family. Made up of the people who helped him get all the right information to rat. )

(To move the plot along just say Emily knows about everything even his new side job.) The cold air was all Antonio felt as he laid down in the barren yard of snow next to the small cabin he called home. He chose to just lay in the snow as it helped him think. A newspaper which was covered in snow atop his stomach was clearly what he had been doing while laying down. Lifting it back up he read the headline again. 'Antonio Parrino found dead inside his own home' he had faked his death before going to jail. Not for the police, but rather for the new mafia to think he did in fact die. He didn't want any hitman coming after him. Antonio was now known as Thomas Buckingham a hardware store owner in Alaska. The name change didn't bother him to much he was adopted so Antonio Parrino wasn't his real name anyways. He really didn't feel anything since he never did. However what he did feel was the urge to kill. Know that he was a simple joe in Alaska he didn't have an easy way to claim a victim. His psychopathic urges had to be settled, and well let's just say it's coincidence that the moment Thomas Buckingham moved to Alaska the Prophet killer appeared. He had made his killings more public know since he didn't have quick means to get rid of the body so know he simply placed it in public. However no amount of killing craved his urges anymore... He needed to kill someone specific. Someone he knew, someone he called a friend. .. Someone who was in New York. However before he did any of that he felt the need to finish what he was doing in Alaska as the Prophet killer so he had enough time to think about what he planned on doing. The Prophet killer earned his name by reacting scenes from the bible with his victims. The four horsemen of the apocalypse had been the first one, and at the moment he was on the last one. He needed to slay a false prophet, and he was currently targeting a priest. It was odd being a serial killer compared to what he was before. He had to be more precise with capturing the target, and killing them. No evidence, the police here weren't the best so he didn't have to do much. 'What should I call myself when I return to New York? The grim reaper maybe?' He thought with a smile on his face. He was still good at hiding his true nature to most, but at home he made it clear not to hide it unless a guest was there. So his girlfriend Emily knew what he was. He had no idea if she wanted to put him into an asylum, help him, or maybe she accepted him as he is. He had no clue all he knew was she came with him, and he loved her company. He didn't love her, well at least he didn't think so. He just felt fondly of her, and would never target her. While Thomas' appearance, his personality did as well. He was no longer a millionaire playboy he was just a nice guy who had a fascination with killing. As for his appearanceThomas grew a long bushy beard, and longer hair.

(( Works with me ^^ ))
While Alaska was a beautiful place and a wonderful change in scenery compared to the city, full of sky scrapers and pollution, Emily had to admit that Alaska wasn't really what she considered to be a good change. Why she had begged Antonio, no, Thomas, to let her come along, she'd never know. Maybe she didn't want to lost the one guy who actually wanted to talk to her, or maybe she just got used to his crazy antics and craved the constant surprises he would throw at people. He was a mystery, and just like her favorite genre of novels, she loved everything about it. Still, she couldn't help but loathe that he decided to move to Alaska... Why not Hawaii? Or Florida or Tennessee? Somewhere warm and, well, not barren. Their closest neighbor was at least an hour drive away. So much for starting a new life and trying to make friends...
Peeking outside from the kitchen window of the small cabin, Emily saw Thomas laying outside in the snow. Yep, that was her boyfriend. Absolutely crazy and carefree. As she dried her hands off from the dishwater, Emily left her current duty of cleaning up after breakfast to poke her head outside. The cabin was beautiful, she had to admit. A nice log cabin with a basement for storing food and fire wood, and a nice porch where she could sit and read when the weather wasn't too cold.
Emily walked outside and leaned up against a wooden pole that helped support the cover above. "You better not catch a cold out here." she called to him with that goofy grin of hers. "I'm not driving out to get you medicine if you get sick."
Honestly, Emily liked Thomas. She really did. But words were hard for her to understand. Specifically, the word love. She didn't know where they stood. Even if Thomas had asked her to be his girlfriend almost a month ago(we can change that if we need to, I just needed to state a time x3), she still didn't know what to say half the time. I love you? No, honestly, it felt weird. She never heard it, and she herself never really said it except once, and she never said it since. Their relationship wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. Sometimes, she just wished Thomas would let her know how he felt. Even a little kiss was a rarity with him, and yet somehow she still wanted to be with him and, even if sometimes it felt like they weren't, she still wanted to be his girlfriend, just... Not to a serial killer...

The idea of a cold hadn't even reached the mind of Thomas as he stared at the cloudy sky. It took a few moments before he turned his gaze to Emily. Things felt odd around her nowadays. It wasn't that he didn't like her anymore, but ever since she said the words 'I love you'. He still remembered the day quite well he had simply stared at her, and blinked before responding with a 'Mhm'. He just didn't know if he wanted to spend his life with someone it was odd. If they got married, and had a kid what would happen when the kid found out his dad's real job. Emily didn't seem to worried about it, or at least he didn't think so since he wasn't locked up. She was one of the few people who could get him arrested, but she was the only person who could get him arrested for being a Godfather, faking his own death, and being the Prophet killer. Sighing slightly as he moved the newspaper he stood up. The cold didn't bother him to much, in fact it helped him think a lot of the time. Brushing the snow off his large jacket, and snow pants he looked at Emily. "I only gotten sick like three time during my life so far." He responded with a friendly smile. He tried to be semi-human around Emily as she deserved that much. If he didn't he would merely just go about his business without talking at all.
Lifting up his jacket sleeve slightly to reveal the time he sighed he didn't have to go to work today so he decided to spend his day trying to figure out what Emily meant to him. Did he love her? Was a monster capable of such a feeling? Was someone who made such disgusting displays of a human body capable of holding one close. He looked back at her slightly with his true gaze an odd look like he was reading a book rather than looking at human. It was a common gaze he gave when he was confused on something. It made him look like a zombie when he did it, but the look didn't last long as he decided he still didn't know. "I have good news, at least I hope. I want to go back to New York." He informed her wondering how she would react. He hadn't made any mention of wanting revenge to her, but than again she knew the monster inside him, and she also knew what was in New York. The new Parrino family, and Charlie.
He waited a moment before adding the next part. "....After I finish my project." He added looking at her wanting to gaze her response. She had to know what he spoke of, what else would be speaking of. Pamphlets of the priest's church laid around the house. In fact just last sunday he had went to Church for the first time since he even knew Emily. He also had the bible scattered about the house with articles he used to base his work on ripped out, and hung on a wall in his 'office'. "Though if you wish you can move earlier, and wait for me." He offered he had never suggested for her to see him working, and he had no plans on doing so. Though he was curious on how she'd react. Emily knew of his true side, but she never saw it. "Or you could co-...." He mumbled it, but decided to stop.

(( Sorry! I fell asleep last night. ^^"))
Emily gave a long sigh and a shake of her head. It didn't matter how often he got sick. Did he realize where they were? Alaska, in aa season where temperatures got in the negatives at night and the wind made the air drop an easy thirty degrees. A cold out here would be far too easy to catch. Even right now in her sweatpants and sweatshirt, Emily felt freezing and longed to go inside to start a fire in their fireplace.
"Thomas..." she breathed and straightened up. Had she been wearing shoes, the fiery red headed girl would have walked over to give him a good shake by the shoulders. "I thought you wanted to come here to escape everything that happened back in New York. Honestly I came with you because I thought that meant you were done killing people... Doesn't that get old? Doing the same thing over and over? You're so talented and you always seem to just waste it."
Even if the man never showed much of a want to be around her, Emily had no problem showing her want around him She wanted so badly to be with him and be normal, to be able to go out in town to go shopping, hold hands and even show public display of affection, the one thing that used to disgust her when she saw it back at home. She wanted so badly to be that cute couple in town, but instead she could only be around him and smell blood and fear. She didn't want to admit it to herself, but she was scared of Thomas. When if he turned on her and wanted to kill her too? Maybe that was why she tried to spoil him with good meals and never tried to make him too angry. The fear inside her made her want to stay on that good side of his. If he had one...
"Why don't we go out to get some groceries today? You don't have work right? I need to get some things, but I don't want to go alone." Maybe he would agree. Maybe he would call her crazy and go inside. But it was worth a shot.

Thomas didn't have a response to her thinking he planned on changing once they moved here. He had no plans to ever change it was impossible all trying to change would do is make him snap harder when something annoyed him. Just letting his urges take over let him stay calm most of the time. "I moved here to avoid going to jail because of a certain rat." He commented there no anger in his tone despite mentioning the rat that caused him to leave his home. In a way he wasn't even mad at Charlie doing this allowed the true beast inside Thomas out. Rather than simply shooting someone, and burying the body. No, know the man got the gratification of cutting, dismembering, and causing a different kind of fear. His godfather title did cause fear, but it was more fear into respect. Unlike his new killer title the Prophet killer didn't have respect. People would talk about that name with no cause of fear because they knew he wouldn't target them. It wasn't until he did target that person that dread would settle inside them. "I've told you once, and I'll tell you again Emily I have no urges to stop. However..... once I finish my work in New York, and here I'll take a small break." He sighed he could go a year with being normal, well semi-normal. He would never be capable of being truly human, or at least he didn't think he could.
Hearing her offer he thought for a moment, he didn't need to work on his project til sunday so he had quite a bit of free time. He knew everything he needed to know about his target so now he was simply waiting. "Fine." He answered her finally in his normal tone, and he moved to the small garage. Opening the old door with creaky sound the insides soon revealed a old beat up station wagon. Antonio Parrino might have been a millionaire, but Mr. Buckingham was middle-class at best. It didn't bother Thomas at all money was just what Antonio was born with. Unlocking the door he got into the driver's seat, and got the old beat up machine to pur as it started. The inside was pretty clean, really the only thing inside it was the necessary paperwork, and whatever Emily had inside of it. He hadn't stated he was driving, but he made it pretty clear by getting into the driver's seat. Being around Thomas for a long time it was pretty clear he needed to be in control. He wasn't a fan of letting people lead him, and that was apparent by the small things he did like never letting anyone drive him around.
(I got a small idea to bring more of a human into Thomas. After we rp whatever they are doing Thomas could get sick for a few days, and Emily decides to go to town for the said medicine where she meets a friendly pharmacist? A undercover FBI agent who is hunting the Prophet Killer, but has no idea Emily is dating the killer. (I'll rp him) who starts to steal Emily away from Thomas, and Thomas gets a jealous side to him, and well we can work from there. )

(( Oooooh juicy >:3 I'm in!! I love jealousy xD))
Emily watched him head towards the garage. After that, she kind of regretted asking him, mainly just because he didn't seem to want to go. But she was still glad, now mainly because she was terrified of driving on snow. She would see so many wrecks and footages of people who got basically mauled by another car of a light pole of even by their own car. It was just terrifying. But she slipped inside to quickly change into something more decent, just a New York University long sleeve with a heavy coat and some jeans with leggings under then to block out the cold. At least she knew how to keep the freezing wind out of the equation.
By the time Thomas had the car cranked and, hopefully, somewhat heated from the heater, she ran outside and got in the passenger seat. Her purse was sat in her lap and she quickly pulled out her phone. "I think we mainly just need the usual." she muttered, probably more to herself that to Thomas. "Maybe some more meat, and flour and stuff. Toilet paper too, hey do we need toothpaste?" she rambled and gave a glance to him, then just shrugged and typed it into the notes section of her phone, where she always kept a shopping list for easy access. "I think we could just swing by Walmart. Or Costco, which one do you think? Maybe Costco, yeah, we'll go there instead. They're cheaper." That was just the usual Emily though. She rambled often and maybe too much, but it was the easy way for her to get things in order and remember things. "Do you need anything else?"

(Awesome, I'll have to think of a good character.)
While Thomas waited in the slowly heating station wagon he pulled out his old flip phone, sure he could have wasted money on one of those fancy devices, but he refused to text so he didn't feel the need to waste the extra money. Looking at his phone screen he opened his contacts, and deleted a few numbers. Number belonging to people who thought the friendly hardware worker was just being friendly. Now the numbers meant nothing as they had no use so he simply removed them from his old brick of a phone. By the time he finished Emily had gotten into the passenger seat, and he began moving the station wagon onto the icy roads.
He continued to drive along the road as he listened to Emily's resembling, he was used to his by now. He merely just kept his mouth closed when she did, and continued with what he was doing, and at the moment that was driving. Everytime she tended to ask something he opened his mouth to respond, but she seemed to answer for him so he merely closed his mouth again. However she soon finished with one question about if he needed anything. "The usual plastic wrap, and duct tape." He responded as he continued driving down the road the small town suddenly becoming visible. Upon reaching the Costco he parked in a empty spot as close to the front as he could, and turned of the station wagon.
(Don't worry about it mine are just as pitiful. I think I'll introduce ______ during my next reply. Just for a small introduction.)

(( Sweet c: Also if you need me to RP anyone else like for anything just let me know ^^ ))
Emily tapped that into her phone, nodding as she did. By then the list was a pretty decent size, but just in case she would probably walk down every aisle just to be sure they wouldn't forget anything. Short runs to the store were never very convenient. By that time the vehicle was parked. Emily got out and shut the door, gave a small glance to Thomas, then just started heading to the entrance. She kind of wanted to offer to him if he wanted to just stay in the car and wait, but she didn't want to be rude. But at the same time, she just felt weird walking into a store with him. Why she felt weird, she didn't know. But something just felt awkward.
As she entered the large store, Emily grabbed a cart and glanced around before she headed straight to the food aisles to start stocking up on that first. Sometimes she wished she could hunt so they wouldn't have to spend so much on meat. Or maybe Thomas could go ape on animals and not on humans so they would have plenty of free eating food. It made sense to her. "Hey while we're here I'm gonnaa swing by the pharmacy and see about some headache medicine." she told him, remembering she was low. For a while now Emily would tend to get chronic migraines for what seemed like no reason at all. Plus they were like right there, the pharmacy was at the end of that aisle so it wouldn't hurt to check and see how much it would be there.

(I don't even more ideas for another character, but if you have one feel free to go wild. Maybe you could rp a new character who pushes Thomas to let his true self out more? Like another killer, or something. If we do that instead of him getting sick he could just go on a trip with his new friend.)
Thomas had entered the store with her, he had no intentions on staying outside. He needed to pick out his own material especially the plastic wrap he had to get the good kind. Any weakness in the material would lead to blood dripping onto the surface, and he have to spend hours cleaning with bleach. With plastic wrap all he had to do was pick it up, and dispose of it. Hearing Emily he looked at her. "Alright, I'll meet you near the toilet paper aisle." He told her he had no need to go stand in a line with a bunch of disease ridden people waiting in line to get pills that delayed there inevitable death.
Separating from Emily he had taken one of those hand basket cart things with him as he went to go find his plastic wrap. Upon entering the aisle his eyes examined each, and everyone as he looked for his specific brand that he liked to buy. Once finding a red tainted box with 'Icelandic Wrap' written on the box in a ice logo. Putting the box into his hand basket cart thing he continued on his way to find the duct tape.
-----------------------------------------------
Standing in the small back part of the pharmacy was an darker skinned man probably around his early thirties. He was wearing a normal white lab coat like most pharmacist tended to wear with a small name tag hanging off it. On the white name tag was normal greeting, and written in a clean way was the name 'Randal Martiez'. At the moment Randal was standing by the counter giving out their prescriptions, and moving onto the next person. He did a little friendly small talk, but for the most part he just got his job done as to not keep people waiting. However the line seemed to being thinning out, and so Randal was slowly starting to let the conversations linger a bit. Soon enough though he had taken care of all the people waiting in the line, and was now simply going back to organizing the medicine.

(( We could. I do like the idea of the jealous Thomas with the pharmacist idea though x3))
Emily gave a nod of acknowledgement to his arranged meeting. It shouldn't take too long just to ask and see, maybe get some if they aren't too pricey. She could always get a generic brand, but she didn't know if it would work as well as a name brand. It was worth a shot though. As she neared the line, Emily got to the back and waited, occasionally looking at her phone. Why she was looking, she had no idea. It wasn't like she had friends to text her or anything, and yet she still did. Maybe it was just habit to look busy and not awkward?
Finally Emily made it to the front counter. She waited to get someone's attention, then finally locked eyes with a rather dashing pharmacist. Emily gave him a warm smile in greeting. "I don't suppose you sell medicine for migraines here, do you?" she asked him, squinting slightly to see the name "Randal" on his nametag. Well, if they did, it would be nice to get to know the people up here. She would probably be back pretty often in that case. "Like anything name brand or generic is fine. Just something that can get rid of the major ones." she added quickly and leaned on one leg, hands both holding her phone on the counter as she awaited an answer from the kind gentleman.

"Well the easiest way to top migraines would be finding the cause of them, and removing that out of your life." Randal joked as he simply grabbed some advil migraine pills. "Can't give you the good stuff, but this should work." He added as he looked at this girl he hadn't seen her around before, which was odd as he had been given the profiles of most citizens of this small village. "You know New York University is a long way from here." He commented with a friendly smile. "Did you just move here?" He added as he leaned on the counter slightly in a relaxed manner. "Cause you're by far the most stunning girl I've seen around here so far." He flirted a tad bit, this just being the inner player in him.
Randal to the townspeople was simply the new pharmacist who moved from Washington about a week ago. Not many people knew anything about him besides that he was friendly, and did his job. Though what they didn't know was Randal was really Agent Randal of the FBI currently assigned to hunting down the infamous prophet killer. He had his small clues, but he didn't have anything worth looking to much into yet so he was just playing it cool.
(Sorry for such a bad reply trying to get Randal's character right. ^^)

(( Hey it's all good ^^ I'm already liking his character xD))
Emily grinned when she took the pills from him, giving the white bottle a glance before she put it in her shopping cart. "Thanks." she said, about to head out, until he started trying to strike a conversation. Well that was good at least, maybe she would get to know him. And since, as one of her rare moments, she was wearing no foundation or powder, her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink at his flirting behavior. "Yeah, I moved here like a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend." she said with a small shrug. Obviously she didn't seem to happy about that decision anymore, but hey she was stuck with it now.
"But yeah I grew up in New York. Then we just moved here and uh, I'm starting to realize it may not have been smart." she added and let out an awkward chuckle, trying to get over that funk of hers. She just had to try to get around that hurdle she and Thomas seemed to be stuck at. "Besides, this is actually the first time I've been in this store. I got tired of Walmart. This store is way better."

(Sorry I was working on a video for youtube.)
Upon hearing the term Randal laughed a bit, and stood back up from his previous leaning position. "Boyfriend, and your buying migraine medicine. I think we found the reason of those said migraines." He joked as he looked around wondering if the said boyfriend was around, but it seemed he was not. "Moving to Alaska normally isn't a smart idea.... You unless you have family, or are running away from a crime." He added still in a joking tone at the last part. "I mean you picked the right time with this serial killer running about... What's he called? The Prophet killer, was it?" His police work going off a bit, but he kept his tone friendly as if he was just doing small talk. He didn't have suspension of this girl, or her boyfriend however he needed to investigate most citizens, and new people tend to be good options. "Well it make sense you liked it here more, I work here." He laughed, and turned the open sign to closed as he moved to get over the counter.
"You know since you, and your boyfriend seem to be new why not hang out with me?" Randal offered using the tactic of newbies of the area should get along. "I know a few good places to ice fish, my sister show them to me." He stated honestly he did have a sister here that he was luck for since he didn't have to waste money on renting a hotel. He instead intruded on his sister's small house. "I could treat you, and your boyfriend to a meal at my place." He added as he finished closing up shop, and looked back at Emily. "There's a football game tomorrow so I'm sure your boyfriend would love to go." He decided to say he was quite curious in meeting her boyfriend, but more importantly he wasn't going to miss his chance to get with such a beautiful woman. He tended to make sure he landed at least one while on a mission like this, and he found the only women who meets his standards.
(Figure I can have Thomas agree to go, but then he can get sick, or hang out with your new character if we go the try to dig him darker into killing route. No matter what this will probably end with Randal on the chopping block. ^^')

(( It's all good ^^ )) (( That actually reminds me that I really nedd to get to work on my next video ))
Emily couldn't help but laugh at his jokes. It felt great to actually joke around and smile. "Thomas can be quite a headache. So I wouldn't doubt it." she joked, and watch him start to close up shop. Was it really already getting that late? Guess it was hard to tell with Alaska's strsnge daylight hours. The mention of what Thomas had begun to be known as made her ice run cold. Honestly, she wished she had never known about that side of him. "Yeah I heard about that guy. We live out of the town so it can be a little scary sometimes." she lied with a shrug and tossed the bottle into the cart. Thomas was probably either about to be ready for her or was already growing tired of waiting.
"I would love that. I haven't seen a good football game since I went to school." EMily agreed with another grin, pocketing her phone to get ready to go meet Thomas. "that would be fun. I've been dying to finally get to know people around these parts. And I'm sure Thomas would love to go!" Okay, that was a solid lie. She had no idea what her boyfriend's wants were. Not even a single one, except to kill. She had no idea if he wanted to be in Alaska or New York, if he wanted to be at the store or not, or even if he wanted her. It was a heart wrenching feeling. "I'm Emily by the way." she greeted, becoming aware that she never once got to introduce herself yet. Usually she made sure to do that first thing. Guess she just got distracted by his funny and rather polite demeanor.
(( That'll do c: Maybe we could have Thomas meet my character like at a bar or club or even at a gas station or something xD))

(Sorry again working on another video. I tend to either make videos for over a period of weeks then one day, like today I make like five. Lol you should make more it's the only way to get big.)
"Well that's good, but I must warn you I get pretty hype for the big games." Randal joked before he took out a small bussiness card, and wrote his sister's address and his number on the back of it. "Emily, huh? I should have guessed such a pretty face would have a pretty name." He commented as he handed her the card, and began to walk down the aisle as he now needed to go clean his sister's house. "Well I'll see yea, if need better directions my numbers on the back." With that he moved heading towards the doors of the store. He had much cleaning to do if he was going to have this girl come over. He couldn't get a pretty girl like that if he had her come over to a dirty place. As for the boyfriend he had his ways of getting him to leave for a bit, though he was quite interested in meeting another new person.
----------------------------------------------------
Thomas had been standing by the toliet paper for awhile now, and the only thing that stopped him from leaving was an old lady who needed help lifting up bucket. He had his good side in fact he never really tried to hide his good acts he did them as much as he could even now as a middle class hardware store owner he was the type of guy to help a old lady cross the road, and he was even known to help this one family all the time while he was working. Thomas Buckingham the hardware store worker could also be called the nice man who put other first during the day. However at night his other name had a much different nickname with it. However at the moment he was the nice guy so he did his normal nice things. It would be a lie to say Thomas waited in the toilet paper section the whole time. He had walked around with the old lady for a bit before returning to his position. "Hmmm must be quite the line." He sighed to himself upon returning.
(I like the gas station idea. We could have them go to the gas station before returning.)

(( I always have trouble figuring out what to do ^^" I think that's my main issue))
Emily took the card form him, turning it over and over in her hands while they spoke. She grabbed her cart to begin to head back to where Thomas was, and when they parted ways EMily gave him a friendly wave. "See you tomorrow then!" she called to him, then hurried on her way to meet up with Thomas. Imagine her luck to have made a friend so easily. Wait until she told Thomas! Maybe he wouldn't be as thrilled, but she sure was. This was exactly what they needed to get to feel more at home. And this was especially what Thomas needed to maybe try to be normal for once.
Emily hurried into the aisle where she saw Thomas, who looked a little bored or maybe even frustrated at that point. "Sorry." she breathed as she walked up to him, only just then putting the card into her wallet, then back into her purse. "I got caught up. But you won't believe this. Me and the pharmacist were talking and he said he was new here too. And he invited us to come over tomorrow to see a football game with him and stuff. Won't that be fun?" she asked, gazing at the slightly taller man. Her green eyes were bright, practically sparkling in excitement. "THis was what we need Thomas! Think of how much fun it'll be."
Emily gazed at him for a few more moments before she turned to all the types of toilet paper. Seriously she never understood the need for such a variety, but then again the quilted kind was so nice, but so expensive and went too quickly. But she still bought it anyway and, seeing that the prices were lower here, grabbed a twenty-four pack that would hopefully last them a while.

(I can't help you there. I just post random rants, and stuff.) (Sorry for any long waits from here on. Watching Kingsglaive FFXV. Craved into buying it again because I didn't wanna wait for Nov to watch it.)
Thomas turned his head to stare at Emily when he heard her voice. He didn't say anything to show if he was frustrated with his wait, or not however that was simply how he was. A silent predator you never knew when he would strike, or when he was simply just standing there calmly. At this moment he was pretty calm from his wait. He was in no rush to return home in all honesty he was fine with being stuck in the storm it helped him pick out targets, and make contacts that could help with his current target. Like that old lady for example the mother of Father Dovan the priest who was currently his target. Hearing Emily talk about some pharmacist didn't bother him much even when she added the he. The only time he would get bothered is if he met the 'He' and that he turned out to be like Thomas a wolf in sheep's clothing. However he doubted it since this guy seemed to have invited Emily, and himself it'd be different if it had just been Emily.
"Football, huh?" Thomas simply said as he placed the contents of his own hand basket cart into the normal cart. He then placed the weird hand cart thing onto the bottom of the cart so he didn't need to carry it anymore. As for football Thomas didn't really care about sports however he had seen one football game recently while hunting down his first target as the prophet killer. He had decided to befriend his first target before putting him on his table. "You shouldn't be so trusting of strangers... I'm not the only person who has..... problems." He warned looking at her with his normal stare. "Though I've yet to hear of another one in this town, so if it'll make you happy I'll go." He decided to say he wanted to get his feelings sorted out with Emily before they went to New York again so maybe this little 'normal' day would help do just that.
Seeing her pick out the pack he continued walking down to what he remembered her listing, meat. He was quite a fan of raw meat it reminded him off his work, though he wasn't into eating his work. He wasn't that kind of monster. "Should we bring something?" He asked trying to show interest in this little party though it was clear he didn't really care, but he was trying. "Like drinks, or something." He added it had been awhile since he went to a party with strangers in fact a normal party like this well this would be his first real time. Upon obtaining all the items on the list, paying for the items, and heading to the car Thomas put the items in the back, and got inside the cold station wagon starting it up. With a few thoughts he reached into his pocket taking out a black long case, and handing it to Emily. "I read once that I should show affection by giving gifts on occasion, and while I was waiting for you I got advice from a old lady on a gift." He simply said before starting the car. The gift was a necklace with three diamonds on it. "Don't worry it was in the budget." He lied as he looked at the car's dashboard seeing the red E was lit. He then began the drive to the nearest gas station. (Decided to speed up the trip a bit. Hope that was okay. ^^ I just wanted to avoid five post each of how they were looking for food. ^^' Also figured to give Thomas a small ounce of character development. I figure while Thomas goes into pay for the gas your character another serial killer who knows about Thomas, or maybe just someone who's a fan of his work. idk it's up to you. catches him inside, and the dark friendship begins. I vote for Thomas' side story to just be a bad friendship rather than another small side romance.)

(( Boi I'm so ticked off right now. Apparently Windows 10 killed my Paint Tool SAI program and I can't get anything to work. Almost punched my laptop twice because everything I try fails and there's no download for an upgrade or anything. Like it used to work on Windows 10 if I restarted my laptop, and now it won't do anything at all... So I'm looking into new programs and the cheapest program is Clip Studio Paint for freaking 50 dollars... ))
(( Fine with me~ Shopping trips aren't the funnest thing to roleplay xD I like the idea though. I was thinking maybe the new character was like another serial killer who was trying to "start out" in a way, like figure out what to do, and he's practically the Prophet Killer's fanboy and wants to be friends in that weird crooked kinda way x3 ))
Emily shrugged and followed Thomas, helping him gather things like meat, cheese, and eggs. Just usual stuff that would help her make good meals. She was always one to be in the kitchen. "Yeah. I was thinking maybe some wine for the ladies, he said his sister would be there. You can pick out maybe a six pack or two of something for you boys if you want." she agreed, glad to see he had interest, or was at least trying to show interest, in this little get together with a new friend.
The checkout wasn't long. There were barely lines and they only waited behind one other person, and they were on their way to the car. Emily helped him get some of the bags into the trunk, and while he cranked up the engine to get it running, EMily took the cart to a nearby holder so it would be out of the way. Once she was back in the car, Emily reached for that card again to look for his address. She was about to tell Thomas to see if he knew of the neighborhood, but when she glanced at him she saw him pulling out a long but still small box and handing it to her. Emily put the card down and took it in one hand, an almost confused look on her face. This was actually a first, something she honestly never expected. And when she opened it EMily almost thought she was dreaming. He actually thought about her?
The glistening diamonds on the necklace were beautiful, but just the point that he actually thought to try to show affection made her heart soar. She had always read about boyfriends who would surprise their girlfriends with cute gifts, but this took the cake. "It's beautiful." she murmured quietly, lifting it from it's safe box to hook it around her neck. He even managed to get a perfect fit. The fact that he was driving didn't matter one bit to her. Emily just moved in her seat where she was on her knees - she never wore a seatbelt - and leaned forward to give him a rather tight hug. "Thank you." she breathed, before she let go to let him focus back on the road. If he wanted that hug or not, he sure as hell got one.

(Wow that has to suck, I'm not really a artist so I can recommend anything. You could try switching back to Window 8.)
(I like that idea, it reminds me of Dexter. xD It's probably turn out the same way as well when we move to the New York part. Cutting off loose ends.)
Thomas hadn't expect any kind of affection in return from his gift so when she randomly hugged him he almost went right into a defensive state like he was being attack by someone. Most the time arms went around him that was what followed, however he soon caught himself so instead of doing anything aggressive he merely jumped out of his site like he just got down seeing a jump scare in a movie, well a jump scare that got to him anyways. Doing this caused the car to go into the other lane, but Thomas quite caught his composure getting the car back into it's normal spot. ".... Next time warn me." He commented not in an annoyed tone in fact he kinda of sounded happy slightly, just a tad small bit. It wasn't normal for him to hug, or get hugged so his reaction was quite expected for someone who got into situations where they got attack a lot. "I see I finally done something right... that's good." He laughed as he took a glance at her for a moment.
With the comical reaction from the prophet killer behind them the old red station wagon soon found itself parked next to a gas pump. "Feel free to just chill in here. Shouldn't take that long to pay." He commented though if she wanted to come in he wouldn't stop her. Stepping out of the station wagon he closed his door, and looked up at the sky slightly for a moment. Breathing in the cold air as it helped calm his nerves from his recent hug. He didn't know why he reacted like that maybe because he was raised as a handshake guy, and nothing else. His adopted mother didn't show much affection to him since she was dying of a disease, and his adopted father merely trained Thomas to tame his monster. So hugs, and all that never occurred to Thomas though he still wasn't that much of a fan of being touched.
Entering the small gas station he slowly opened the door, and quickly took notice of how empty it was. The cashier, and one other person seemed to be present at the moment. Though he merely guessed on the other person for he didn't see that person. He just felt like one was in there somewhere. Walking up to the counter he handed the man fifty dollars for gas.
