*cracks knuckles* We'll give it a go.
Squirrelpaw was very young when Leafpaw and she were near the sunning rocks. Leafpaw just wanted to gather herbs, but instead was met with a vision about the impending doom of the clans as twolegs moved into their territory. As she is having this vision, a RiverClan patrol is traveling along the opposite banks of the river. Sound carries well, particularly during that day, and a very young Hawkfrost overhears Leafpaw as she worries about what she has just seen to Squirrelpaw. Suspicious, Hawkfrost remains on the opposite bank until both she-cats leave. He has no intention of not being an important part of this new prophecy, whether StarClan likes it or not, and he thinks it will help bring him power like Tigerstar is always telling him to aim for. He isn't getting much traction in RiverClan, even though a lot of cats like him, so when the half-clan cats Feathertail and Stormfur are selected for this journey Hawkfrost catches them on the way out. On the promise that he gets to come along, he promises to not turn them in to Leopardstar at once and gets to come along on the journey to the sun-drown-place. During this trip, he at once becomes at odds with just about everyone other than his half-brother and the wishy-washy Squirrelpaw who he can only just stand. Along the journey, much like with everyone else, he slowly starts to warm to everyone - even though he tells himself it's only for necessity. As soon as he left clan territory, dreams with his father stopped and now he has more nightmares than true dreams. In the waking world, he's faced with the struggle to hunt more land prey than water prey and because of his odd-footing with Stormfur and Feathertail he finds himself hunting alone or if he's lucky, with Brambleclaw. Squirrelpaw, however, seems to work her way into a far odder place in this relationship when she manages to gain a bit of his respect due to her quick witted ideas after facing a dog - something Hawkfrost doesn't have much experience with. Grudgingly, he starts talking with her. Particularly since she seems glued to Brambleclaw's side anyway because they're clanmates and clearly good friends. Or that's what Hawkfrost tells himself. Skip past the journey, and everyone is back in the forest. Hawkfrost has been free of Tigerstar's dreams for a very long time and is almost shocked that upon his return that his father's first idea for gaining power (which, due to character development upon the journey, Hawkfrost is starting to feel a bit iffy about) is to worm his way closer to Firestar's daughter. Hawkfrost is horrified, but tries not to show it. Squirrelpaw has become a close friend and he really doesn't want to betray that. Still ... he has grown a bit attached to her. He doesn't want to say yes, but he's too conflicted about his new ideals to say no. So instead he waits, keeping up the friendship with Squirrelpaw all through the journey to their new territory. This is a bit of a mistake, because he finds himself falling for Tigerstar's plans. Hawkfrost isn't a complete dunce about it, and knows that neither his father or his feelings will let him pull away. So instead, he ends up with coming up with a plan. Thanks to Brambleclaw coming along on the journey, they're roughly on the same page with knowing about Tigerstar. Hawkfrost begins to work out with his half-brother what he can do - both about Tigerstar and Squirrelpaw (now -flight). The ultimate plan is that, within the Dark Forest, both brothers will face down their father. Because, logically, two living cats should be able to defeat the dying memory of a single cat. Logically. They work on their plan as much as possible, never letting Squirrelflight in on any of this because they can't tell what she would think of either of them much less what she could actually do to help. Battle goes down - badly. Both brothers are badly injured, but they do manage to injure Tigerstar enough that they hope he will no longer threaten their dreams. This doesn't matter much, however, since both of them are in such bad shape. Finally Squirrelflight learns it all, because she made them both spill the story (an abridged version, since they are kinda ... like ... seriously bleeding). During this, Hawkfrost admits his feelings and how it should never have happened ... but it did. Squirrelflight bristles and like her sharp wit has always been like, insists both brothers are idiots and storms away to get Cinderpelt and Leafpool. Both brothers recover, but as irony suites them, both will never be capable of being deputy. Maybe some leg injuries, I'm not sure. But either way, they make up with Squirrelflight. Hawkfrost is returned to RiverClan, where he doesn't actually improve relationships with any of the cats who hate him, but at least he doesn't create new enemies. He sees Squirrelflight at Gatherings and after a couple of those they have a lot of time to talk out their feelings. Squirrelflight makes the final decision. They're both going to wait and see how things fold out from there. See what will and will not come for everything that happened. But she makes it clear that it isn't a never and it isn't a no. Then she lays her tail on Hawkfrost's shoulder and promises that after they can actually say that no one else is whispering in his ear about what he should be, then she'll see about those feelings. End whatever fic I possibly just plotted, darn it!

LET'S GET IT. Cinderpelt saves Littlecloud and whoever-that-guy-was from the sickness that nerfed ShadowClan, out of the kindness of her heart. She hides them away in a bush and treats them in secret. Can't-remember-his-name is terse and overly prideful about a ThunderClan cat healing him, but Littlecloud is much nicer. He and Cinderpelt develop a friendship as she nurses him back to health, often exchanging friendly banter and jokes while I-don't-know-him watches in mild horror. Littlecloud's interest in the life of a medicine cat increases, mostly because Cinderpelt likes that sort of stuff. Once Littlecloud feels a little better, Cinder starts to cautiously sneak him out and show him different herbs. Littlecloud pretends to be paying attention, but we all know half the time he's looking at Cinderpelt.
Anyway, so Fireheart comes and ruins their fun. Littlecloud and Paleneck go back to ShadowClan, or well, Littlecloud does. Cinderpelt misses Littlecloud, but resumes her duties as a meddie. Littlecloud feels a little more strongly about not being able to talk to his friend, so he pours all his time into getting a PhD in medicine so he'll be able to see her, but he soon begins to actually enjoy his new role. Cinderpelt and Littlecloud meet every half-moon and catch up on old times, growing closer and closer each moon as they swapped stories, advice, and the occasional wink. One night as they walked back to their Clans after a meeting, Littlecloud pulled Cinderpelt to the side and whispered a confession of love. Cinderpelt returned it, sort of. Although she felt the same way, she knew the Code would never allow them to be together as more than fellow medicine cats...and thus she and Littlecloud reluctantly remained friends. When Cinderpelt died moons later, Littlecloud was devastated, but he knew he could not linger in grief. He took an apprentice in Flametail, training the next generation of healers, keeping the memory of Cinderpelt in his heart...
Also just gonna pretend Cinderheart isn't a reincarnation and is her own free cat. Cinderpelt and Littlecloud reunite in StarClan, become mates and live happily ever after. The end.

It's a long one again. XD I'll just spoiler tag it. Rusty stayed in the Twoleg Place he was raised in, watching the forest from the top of his fence. He is interested, of course, but he never really made it that far. One night, he's out a bit late. He's about to go in, but the thing that stops him is shadowing forms directly in the forest outside the line of his fence. He watches them, curious, but not exactly scared yet. He's been raised on Smudge's stories on these cats, but he'd never actually seen them. So he's pretty surprised when they make a bolt directly for him. He freaks out a bit, running toward his Twoleg's den. As soon as me makes it through the cat flap, he stops, expecting the cats to follow him but they don't. He does hear them talking outside though. Names are mentioned out there and he thinks they sound really weird. But he listens, because his curiosity gets the better of him. It's this whole conversation about escaping and how the scent of 'fat kittypet' will probably help 'Ravenpaw' hide. The cats talking don't sound comfortable, and Rusty thinks they sound very stupid and don't know much of anything. They keep talking about this 'Ravenpaw' hiding out here and Rusty is fully aware that this isn't as easy as this 'Greypaw' is making it out to be. Finally, he gets fed up with it and slips back out. Greypaw and Ravenpaw freak out a bit, but try to appear like they didn't a couple seconds later. Rusty scoffs and explains that if they're trying to hide then maybe they shouldn't be loudly discussing their plans in someone's yard. Also, that what they're planning is really foolish, because they're assuming all 'kittypets' are soft and lazy. Then he points out that he isn't and puffs out his chest. Greypaw just looks stunned and starts laughing, because the kittypet is clearly crazy. Ravenpaw just looked hesitantly amused, jumping a bit and looking around. Rusty is curious, but doesn't ask why that is. Instead, he huffs and points out that they can do what they want, but if they're really going to hide then they better just find themselves a twoleg and hope for the best. Neither seem to like that plan, but dismiss themselves and skulk off. Rusty is betting they aren't going to last very long. He tries not to be concerned about it. He also tries not to remember how jumpy and scared Ravenpaw looked. Time skip, with some brief moment in there where Rusty tells Smudge what he saw that night. Smudge just warns him to stay away from forest cats. Rusty completely ignores this of course. A couple days later, Ravenpaw ends up in Rusty's yard again, trembling and wet. He practically rushes through Rusty's little catflap, but Rusty stops him and asks him what in the world is going on. Ravenpaw is really freaked out and ask Rusty for help and then blathers on about how Rusty has thus far been the only cat to not try and chase them off. Rusty notices that 'them' has narrowed a lot and asked where Greypaw is. Ravenpaw ends up trembling a lot more, but leads Rusty to where Greypaw is. Both of them are soaked through, which Rusty isn't surprised about since they the weather has been bad. He finds the current locations of both 'evil and dangerous forest cats' pitiful. He leads them back to his yard and tells them to stay in the bushes. This seems to worry Ravenpaw even more, and Rusty notices he keeps looking at the fence. Rusty leaves to get his pellet bowl, but Ravenpaw actually follows him into the twoleg den. Rusty is surprised, but doesn't stop him, just checking that his twoleg isn't around and wont find his guest. Ravenpaw seems to calm down as soon as he isn't in view of the fence and Rusty comments on it, trying not to make it a big deal. He's just concerned. Ravenpaw just stiffens and says he doesn't want to talk about it. Instead, he comments about how nice the twoleg den is, though Rusty isn't actually sure if the apprentice is serious. They return to Greypaw and Rusty spends the rest of the day in the yard. He knows Smudge is going to think he's crazy. He makes fast friends with Greypaw just by pestering him for information about the forest, but he can't help noticing that Ravenpaw seems to close himself off as soon as Greypaw starts talking. Even though Rusty keeps up the chatter, he keeps half an eye on Ravenpaw and keeps wondering what he could say or do to get the other apprentice to open up. He can't think of anything and that night ends up splitting off to sleep in the twoleg den. The next morning, the twolegs wake him up with their chatter and he goes out to find that Ravenpaw is at the doorstep and Rusty's twoleg is petting him. Rusty is busy laughing, but he notices that Ravenpaw seems to be finding it kind of awkward and Greypaw is just flat-out horrified in his bush. Ravenpaw gets invited into the den and at once he seems to relax. Rusty checks that Greypaw is alright, but hurriedly returns to Ravenpaw to check on what was going on. Ravenpaw seems to be breathing easy again and Rusty once again presses about why. Ravenpaw admits that he's worried someone in the forest is going to be looking for him. Rusty is sympathetic and says that if he feels better about it, then he can stay in the twoleg den. Ravenpaw seems to like that idea and slowly starts to smile. Rusty takes the news to Greypaw, who really doesn't like it. But he agrees, because Ravenpaw is his friend and he seems to get that Ravenpaw needs to feel safe. It takes several days of interaction - and one day where Rusty and Smudge have a run in before Smudge ditches them because he's very antsy over it - for Ravenpaw to open up. Rusty is very pleased about it and spends a lot of time trying to get Ravenpaw to smile because he claims that the apprentice doesn't do it enough. They talk to Greypaw a lot, but Greypaw seems wary about Ravenpaw's familiarizing with the twolegs. He doesn't mind Rusty, but he reminds Ravenpaw several times that he is a clan cat. Ravenpaw agrees the first couple times, stops answering the next couple times, and finally several days just snaps that maybe he doesn't want to be! Then he rushes off, but not toward the twoleg den. Instead he rushes out into the twolegplace. Rusty rushes after him, Greypaw behind, but Rusty insists that Greypaw goes back because he doesn't know the way. Greypaw disagrees right up until Rusty rounds on him and points out that he was the one who stuck his paw in his mouth and maybe Ravenpaw will backtrack and Greypaw needs to be there to apologize. Then Rusty hurries after Ravenpaw, who has gone pretty deep into the twolegplace by the time he finds him. Ravenpaw breaks down and says how he doesn't want to go back to a clan that wants to kill him - specifically Tigerclaw - and how Greypaw and Rusty are the only ones to be nice to him in a very long time. And then he states that now Greypaw is trying to make his choices and he can't go back. Rusty is hesitant about what he should say, but then is very insistent that Ravenpaw could stay with him and that would be okay. Ravenpaw doesn't look sure, but seems to like the sentiment. It's at this point that they have a run in with two BloodClan cats. Rusty places himself between them and Ravenpaw almost at once, but the cats don't seem that impressed. Rusty realizes this, and comes up with something directly on the spot. He says something like 'thank you, thank you so much!' to the two BloodClan cats, running toward them. The cats are very confused and wary, but Rusty doesn't give them a chance to catch up. He goes on, blabbering about how this other cat - Ravenpaw - is a forest cat and how they just saved Rusty from being eaten alive. Ravenpaw doesn't catch on too quick, but the BloodClan cats clearly heard all those stories and start shifting nervously and eyeing Ravenpaw to see if this shrimp of a cat somehow looks more scary than any other cats. They aren't convinced, but by this point, Ravenpaw catches on. He bares his fangs and says something which isn't too scary, but at least cause the cats to shift again. One cat whispers something about maybe this is another cat like that other one. Ravenpaw stiffens, but tries not to show it. The cats aren't very convinced that Ravenpaw is a forest cat or that he's that dangerous, but there aren't that many and they decide not to risk it. They point out that they don't want clan cats in their territory and then claw at Rusty until he runs into Ravenpaw, then say something about Ravenpaw eating all the kittypets if he wanted for all they cared. Then they laugh and go off. Ravenpaw and Rusty don't breath for a while, but finally just collapse into each other with relief. Rusty hardly even notices his ear is bleeding until Ravenpaw starts cleaning it. Timeskip again, probably a week or something. Ravenpaw made up with Greypaw, but things are still tense. Ravenpaw guiltily confides in Rusty that he thinks he knows what cat the BloodClan cats were mentioning. Rusty is grim about the idea, but isn't sure what to do about it. He tries not to press Ravenpaw for the details, but finally the story comes out to Rusty. Rusty is horrified. He tries to comfort Ravenpaw, but Ravenpaw just seems to turn inward on himself. Rusty leaves it, but makes sure that he stays with Ravenpaw for the next few days until he feels like talking again. Rusty doesn't bring it back up again, but he starts talking to Greypaw more. He starts telling Greypaw about BloodClan and what they do. Greypaw seems shocked at their name and how it seems like a clan name. Rusty also conveys Ravenpaw's suspicions about who it is that recently had a run in with these cats. Greypaw seems grim. He thinks this means something bad for his clan and Rusty is forced to agree. He isn't exactly sure what can be done though. It becomes Greypaw's idea that they need to get more information about what Tigerclaw was doing in BloodClan. It's at this point that Ravenpaw reveals he heard all this and agrees that they need to do this. Rusty is very worried about this sudden turn of opinion for Ravenpaw, but he wont let Ravenpaw go in alone. So he volunteers to help out, with Smudge's voice in the back of his head about how forest cats were dangerous. He finds it very ironic that Ravenpaw's only dangerous because Rusty can't seem to say no to him. They all come up with a plan to spy on BloodClan, Rusty attempting to cull Greypaw's excited attempts to make the plan a lot worse than it is. What they finally come up with is shaky at best, but it's the best they have. Greypaw goes to eat, leaving Rusty and Ravenpaw alone. Ravenpaw huddles close to Rusty, saying something about that, with any luck from StarClan, they'll have something to save the clans with by tomorrow. Rusty finds the new word - StarClan - odd, so he has Ravenpaw explain it to him. They bother spend a while looking up at the stars until Greypaw catches them awake and points out that they need to get sleep for tomorrow. Rusty and Ravenpaw retreat to the twoleg nest. Tomorrow goes off with several hitches, which I wound describe in detail because this is always lengthy. But Tigerclaw ends up catching them, Greypaw escaping, but Rusty unable to leave Ravenpaw. Tigerclaw is quick to notice that his apprentice seems to have, according to him, 'grown a spine' and doesn't back down. But he knocks Ravenpaw around a bit, stating that this proves he hasn't grown any stronger but has just become a coward that can stand up to get hit. Rusty cuts in, being an idiot without training. Ravenpaw is very distressed by this, attacking Tigerclaw as if this will do anything. All the while, Scourge is watching and rather unimpressed. By both of them. So finally he cuts in, apparently completely unmindful of Tigerclaw's annoyance with this. Ravenpaw and Rusty are both pretty shaken and Ravenpaw badly hurt. But Scourge just looks at Tigerclaw and states that if this is how competent Clan cats are, then they aren't worth his time. And that the loyalty that he offers is worth nothing. He seems even more smug with the fact that all this had distracted Tigerclaw long enough that Greypaw had time to bring clan cats back - and they're just in time to hear Tigerclaw start his rant. Scourge leaps to a high position again and very strictly talks to the new clan cats about entering his territory - how it wont be accepted and blah, blah ... but that he might consider it a fair trade to let Ravenpaw and Rusty leave along with the clan cats if Tigerclaw will be banished. This all seems a bit of a set up, so one of the clan cats - possibly Whitestorm - asks why a rogue cares whether Tigerclaw is banished or not. Scourge, knowing he's won, says that he has unfinished business with Tigerclaw. Whitestorm doesn't seem to find too much fault with this, particularly since Tigerclaw isn't making the choice very difficult. But he informs Scourge that they'll need to consult with their leader first. Scourge lets them go, and Rusty is well aware that Scourge knows he'll get his request. Whitestorm takes Ravenpaw and Rusty back to ThunderClan, since they need medical attention. Time skip a bit and Rusty and Ravenpaw have both recovered. There is discussion about what to do with the both of them. Most of ThunderClan have realized they've become a set at this point and would be foolish to separate them. Ravenpaw and Rusty talk a bit about it. Rusty likes the life of a clan cat and a housecat, and so does Ravenpaw. It's a difficult choice, but they decide that for now they'll try to stay with ThunderClan. Bluestar, very shaken over Tigerclaw, takes a while to recover, but in the mean time Whitestorm and Lionheart assists in the training of Firepaw and Ravenpaw. Both have reached past the age they should have been made warriors, but they really lack the training. Greypaw becomes Greystripe and continues to help with training (and picking up what he forgot). When Bluestar is recovered, she gives names to Fireheart and Ravenflight.

Things play out as normal in canon, just both Hollyleaf and Ivypool become romantically involved with each other. When Hollyleaf sacrifices herself to save Ivypool, Ivypool is heartbroken and thrown into grief for moons. She was reluctant about her feelings for Fernsong because she felt like she was betraying Hollyleaf. A talk from Graystripe made her understand that just because she got another mate, doesn't mean she's forgotten about Hollyleaf or loves her any less. So Ivypool decides to become mates with Fernsong and move on, though she still dearly misses Hollyleaf and their fleeting relationship. (Oof, that was short, but I couldn't think of anything else besides most of what happened in canon.)
