I actually have some mood boards that I posted on Twitter a while ago, if you’d like to see?

Also, I seem to have lost my impulse control. Let me know if you find it. In the meantime, I’ll be over here playing with my new sword.

Please! Hah! I can't help you! Dinnnnngo. I had my first meetup with someone from the forums! I really wanna meet more of my friends on here now, like, because I've known so many of you for so long and I would honestly love it.

Now that I’m back from my trip I can finally get them up!
I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU MET FORUMERS! That’s so awesome! I met another person who read the books a couple of weeks ago - who then subsequently called me out for browsing the forums during class time (they stalked the original forums back in the day but never had an account) - but BY THE GODS I’d love to meet you guys. It’s a shame we’re in opposite corners of the world. Sometimes I think about the fact that I e been to your state and to Shadow’s and haven’t met either of you. I’d love to meet Tuesday as well, but I’ve yet to visit her corner of America.
I think y’all are just gonna have to Australia and visit me.

Yesssssss! I can't wait! I HAVE! It was really awesome! We had such a good time! He's Strider here on these forums! I RP with him a lot and we're really good friends. We did art for my library together. I've been browsing the forums during class time for over 3 years and no one has called me out yet after recognizing it. XD I'm been waiting too. I did to a speech on the forums once for a class project. It's was a Personal Object speech where you had to talk about something which means a lot to your life. I talked about how this place helped me realize what I wanted to do with my life, how I have a community backing me, and that it really helped with my spelling. But apparently the friend I met goes to school with some other forumers. XD The whole of TPH (where Strider and I are from) is rather dedicated with doing meetups so long as both parties feel safe doing so. We did, so he spent the weekend at my house and me and my family dragged him to two separate libraries and we sat up till 3 RPing. It was really awesome. Yeaaaaaaaaah. I wanna meet you, Shadow, and Tues. I haven't been to Shadow's end of the country in ages either and to be honest I'm not even sure where Tues is. I haven't been in contact with them recently either, which is super sad. But ye! If you come back to this end I would really like to meet you. I think we will, I think we will. XD I do indeed have goals and I really wanna travel.

It sounds like you had an awesome time, Mint! I don’t think I ever roleplayed with Strider, but the username is familiar! Ah, TPH sounds like such a fun role play, but there are so many pages. It’s a little intimidating XD
Tuesday is east coast, I know. I have Ohio in mind?? I remember her saying that she travels between two states for college, but I’m pretty sure she’s graduated now. And yeah, it’s a shame that they’re not on the forums much anymore. I get to chat to them quite a bit on Twitter, though, which is really fun. There are a couple of other forumers on there, too. Maybe you should consider joining! We have an awesome writing community over there, too!
I will definitely be back to California! I need to get back to LA, and I also really want to get up to Yellowstone and Lake Tahoe. Maybe at the end of next year, or the year after. I’d love to meet up with you someday!

He's been called Bramblepath in the past, I believe? Heh! Oh yeah, the page number is daunting. Thank goodness you don't have to read through them. That would be impossible. I still think the concept is really great where you just learn along with your character. The whole group is travel happy too. We have road trips planned when we're all out of school. We keep adding locations to visit. You could always look at our Art Page or just pop in to ask questions if you're interested in just hearing more about it. We don't bite. Ye, I think so! Not sure. As I said, I haven't heard from 'em recently. They just popped into the WFF Discord a week back or so to say 'hi' and that they were still thinking about us. ^^ Also about being busy, ha ha. Pity about that. Maybe a job? No clue. I'd hit another social media to see, but I'm under that familiar rock of not having social media and I'm not sure if Tuesday does either. XD Think I'm following the ... I think it's called Word Gremlin blog though. Off and on. I have too many TBR books. Twitter, tumblr, instagram! Some day ya all will drag me out from under my rock I swear! It isn't from lack of interest, I just can't keep track of all this log in info and keep up an actual presence on these site. Seems like every time I join a new one I drop off the face of another. Which is a real shame. But I will consider! Pfft. Finding a writing community for my weird niche fandoms will never be possible. Good thing I like to write Warriors or no one would ever give me a second look. All that MV stuff. Yesssssssssss! LA isn't that far from me, so I could probably do that. > : )

Well, I’m glad I wouldn’t have to read all those pages XD And maybe I will pop into the art thread. And maybe I’ll consider joining once it opens...
A job sounds about right! And the WordsGremlin blog is awesome. Tuesday is always so entertaining, and I’ve added a bunch of her recommendations to my summer ‘to read’ list. And yeah, social media is daunting. Tumblr is... interesting. It’s a great place for niche fandom stuff, and it’s probably better now that they’ve made stricter regulations for what can and can’t be posted - it’s probably a good place for all your weird writing musings (or you can keep them all in a file in your iPad like I do XD). Twitter is highly entertaining, because there are so many celebrities on there, all interacting with one another and their fans. And Instagram is pretty nice too. I’ve got accounts on all three, so if you ever do decide to join, I’ll be there to show you around! And I can guarantee you’ll get a huge welcome from the rest of the WFF if you choose to head over to Twitter!
Oh?? How do you feel about... the Santa Monica Pier? Or..... Disneyland.... or I’m always down to go back to the La Brea Tar Pits.
I’m like your RP group. I like to plan future travels XD

Ye. I haven't, that's for certain. You do get to hear about past events from other RPers, but they don't really ever matter to your characters. So I found it easy enough once I got to learn the concept of 'blinking'. And everyone gets the 'welcome to the Paradox House' in-rp. XD
I keep posting my inktober prompts to the art thread, heh heh.
Oh ye. I usually find that there was just some stuff I intended to read on the blog already, ha ha. Somehow I think that Tues would tear into some of the books I love. They're really good at the reviews though! I keep all my weird musings on my computer, in a folder marked 'WIP', because that's often what they are. Thanks! I'll keep that in mind! You would certainly have to be my guide, ha ha. I usually over come the new site learning curve pretty quickly, but a guide is always very helpful. Nice to know the rest of the WFF is hanging around in other places. I talk to the lot on NaNo a lot.
Santa Monica Pier is cool! Disneyland is close, but I've been there a bit too much that the novelty has warn off a bit. La Brea Tar Pits is cool! I'd be willing to go again too! I take your Brea Tar Pits and raise you the Grand Canyon!
Oh same. I think we're planning to visit every corner of the US at this point. I also pointed out that there's no way we'd see it all on one road trip and everyone was just: >:^) Good! More than one road trip!

Ive only been to Disneyland once, and I was too short to go on half the rides, so I absolutely have to go back XD It’s been fourteen years, and I’m still mad that I couldn’t ride the Indiana Jones roller coaster. It’s still one of my all time favourite movies. And it rained the entire time I was in California, so I couldn’t go to the Pier. Typical, isn’t it? The only three days it rained on my whole trip was when I was in California and had a tonne of outdoor activities planned! And the Tar Pits were so freaking awesome. The entire wall of dire wolf skulls was incredible. And the sabre-toothed cat skeletons, of course.
I’ve been to the Grand Canyon! The... south rim, I think? I was coming over from New Mexico - I’m sorry people who live in New Mexico, but your state is very boring - so that seems about right? I woke up at five AM one morning just to watch the sun rise over the canyon. It was actually incredible. That reminds me - I must finish editing all of my videos into one clip.
You know what you guys need? A bus. Then you can all road trip together. Every now and again my friends and I think about buying an old bus, renovating it into a camper-van type thing (install a mini kitchen, and put in beds instead of seats) and road tripping around Australia. It would be even better in the States, because you have so much more road. And to be honest, a bus couldn’t get around Australia. I need to con my cousin out of his suped-up Land Rover...

Oh yeah! You should definitely go back! There are some cool stuff to see if you've only been once. Oooouch. Also, rare. Usually it does not rain that much in Cali. I think it was raining when I went to the Tar Pits, funny enough. But yeah! The dire wolf skulls were up there at my top favorite part. Those were cool! Pfft. My folks like New Mexico. I'm eh about it. I like the mountains more. I'm trying to remember which rim was most fun. We attempted to see the South Rim I believe, but we hit all the old Native American pueblos on the way and we didn't get there until night ... so we had to turn back around and head home. XD Yesss. Edit videos! Check out Flixbus. It's a new one and apparently it's one of the major ones in Europe and just came over here. It's got three lines and new stops and lines pop up pretty regularly from what their twitter feed is telling me. Yesss. Do it! Get the Land Rover!

Oh yeah, lots to do! And when I finally get back to Disneyland, I’m going all out. I’m staying at the Disneyland Hotel XD I certainly did not expect it to be raining! I did go down to Universal Studios while I was there, though. I got free hot chocolate and walked straight onto ever ride.
Maybe I’m biased, because I didn’t actually do anything in New Mexico? It was just a pit stop to break up the drive from Colorado to the Grand Canyon. We stayed the night in Albuquerque, and I went for a walk around the district the hotel was in, but that was all we did. And the weather was pretty miserable, so it wasn’t a nice experience. I did really love Santa Fe, though! That was where we stopped for lunch, and it was awesome! I WILL BE EDITING VIDEOS!
That sounds interesting! I mean, if we’re talking tour groups, I will support Contiki until the day I die.
The Land Rover is my cousin’s baby. It would take some clever talking to get him to loan it to me.

Woooooooow! You are going all out! NICE! At least there was something. XD How dare you not see the Giant Roadrunner in Las Cruces, NM. I am ashamed! Ashamed! But yeah. There's some cool stuff in New Mexico. Since my family road trips so much we know several places in most states that make the trip interesting. GOOD! I have never heard of Contiki, but now I have! Flixbus is just a bus. XD Heh heh. Maybe you just need to take him with you.

I am definitely going all out XD
I.... did not. I think I spent less that 24 hours total in New Mexico. Next time I road trip through the states, I will definitely be hitting you up for destinations/ideas!
Contiki is absolutely fantastic. They’re a tour company for 18-30 year olds, and they travel through pretty much every country. It’s absolutely incredible, and the tour cost includes all your accomodation, all your travel (excluding airfares), about half your meals and several super cool experiences. I went to Graceland for freeeee! And they also hook you up with other discounted activities (yay for group discounts) for activities such as helicopter flights. The tour guides are absolutely fantastic - they tend to run the same tour for years, so they know pretty much everything about the places that you visit. They’re all so passionate, and they generally want you to have a good time. If you want to travel, it’s absolutely fantastic, particularly if you’re a young woman travelling alone like I was! I made so many incredible friends. It was actually the perfect experience. Their slogan is ‘#NoRegrets’, and I can honestly say that I regret nothing about my time overseas. They’re adding new tours all the time, as well. One of their newest is an in-depth explorer tour of California, which hits up San Francisco, LA, San Diego, and like three different national parks. I like to visit their website and fantasise.

GOOD! Please do! My family knows a lot of places that would be cool. We've traveled through some pretty interesting towns and there are some State Parks as well. I read all that and I love it all. It's really awesome sounding. Perfect for me. I showed it to the friends too, then bemoaned the fact that by the time nebulous plans becomes plans, then at least one of our number will be outside the age limit - or some will be under. Soooooooooooo grand. ;-;Oooooooo! Do the Cali one! Do the Cali one! What National Parks? Lasson is awesome in my personal opinion.

Contiki is actually marvellous. It’s just... wow. It really is perfect. It gives you a good mix of group time/alone time. I had a roommate throughout my trip, but you can pay extra for a private room. And since I wanted the experience of travelling alone for a bit - but certainly not for the whole time - I make sure there were a few days between my two tours. It was honestly just... I cannot talk it up enough.
Ooh, that’s frustrating. I organised my trip in a couple of days, but it was only myself. I think co-ordinating with a large group would be really, really hard. And I know it’s hard to save money in America. I made close to $7000 in about 4 months, but I didn’t have any expenses then like I do now, and our minimum wage is considerably higher than yours.
I definitely have my eye on the Cali tour! It goes to Yosemite, Death Valley, one of the state parks, and the one with all the giant redwoods.

Oooooooooooo! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll at least look into it for myself.
Ye. I didn't expect to be that lucky. XD We're also a very free-style group, so I expect we'll just see a random road and want to go down it, tour or not. But it was a nice thought while it last. Yesssssssssss. It is. And it isn't like school isn't in the way either. It's an interesting little dilemma.
Redwood National Park! (it's as simple a name as that) It's worth the visit, that's for sure! I'm not sure which state park that would be, though there are a ton of cool ones.
I got to see a kitten today! Wanna see pictures?

I have come to the conclusion (and I’m thanking god for autocorrect, because I literally just tried to type ‘conclusionship’) that working for Lonely Planet would be the greatest job in the entire world. So now I’m impulsively tweeting at them trying to work out how to get in on that action.

LOOK AT THAT SWEET BABY OH MY I WANT TO CUDDLE HER.
Lonely Planet is a travel writing company. They are (I’m pretty certain) the worlds leading producer of travel guidebooks. They have a comprehensive guide for pretty much every country (and a lot of major cities), and their website is super helpful for travelling on a budget as they provide the average cost of pretty much everything, including food and accomodation. They also list the most popular attractions and the best time to see them.
Unfortunately they didn’t respond to my tweets :/
