Mothpaw puffed out her chest slightly "It's a worthwhile skill to have." She replied, blinking in gratitude at his compliment. Surely enough, being a good hunter would come in crucial now that they were on their own. She took a bite of the robin, savoring the taste of the juicy fresh-kill, which temporarily washed out the twolegplace scent from her mouth. She ate quickly, surprised at how famished she was, and soon finished off her share, leaning back and licking her lips contentedly.

"I still won't be happy until I have some solid forest under me." Mothpaw replied with a purr, the first in a long time. She began to draw her tongue along his fur, steady calming laps as the sky above them darkened into twilight. It had been a long time since she had shared tongues. The last time had been before Silverstar had rose to power. It was comforting to be able to do so again.

With how dark it was getting, Mothpaw began to feel drowsy, and almost nodded off, until she shook herself awake and got to her paws. "We should find a place to sleep." She mewed. "I don't want to be out in the open." She looked around, using the dim light to try to locate shelter. Thankfully, there was plenty in the twolegplace, and a large bush nearby seemed perfect. "How about there?" She suggested. The bush had low lying ferns growing around the base of it. It would be perfect to sleep under for a night, obscured from others.

Mothpaw sighed in mild annoyance. "Stupid furball." She mewed affectionately. Gently grabbing his scruff in her teeth, she began to drag the tom over to the bush. Thankfully, he wasn't too heavy, so it wasn't too hard. Once they were underneath she relaxed, feeling comfortable under the cover of the bush. She curled up beside him, tucking her tail over her nose. "Good night, Swiftpaw..." She murmured, before drifting off to sleep.
-
The next morning, Mothpaw was awoken by sunlight shining in through the ferns. She blinked, taking a breath of the fresh, dewy air, which thankfully masked some of the twolegplace air. She had had a peaceful night.

Mothpaw nosed through the ferns, stretching her long limbs contentedly. "Good morning, Swiftpaw." She mewed, jaws gaping in a wide yawn. "Did you sleep well?" She asked, padding over to join him.

Mothpaw could see the discomfort at his name. "Sorry." she apologized. "For now, I'll just call you 'Swift', then. And I did. It was a peaceful night for sure." She mewed. "I'll see what I can do for breakfast, and then we can see about getting out of here." She said.

(Hewwo :3)
Silverstar grumbled, noticing that Brindlefern and Firepaw weren't yet back. It had been a whole day. Were they hiding? I won't kill them yet. Only a threat to make them realize what will happen the next time. The she-cat groaned in annoyance as she watched the stillness of camp. It used to be so busy in the mornings... Back when Froststar was alive- no! I'm a better leader than she ever could have been.

"Dante?" Mothpaw echoed. It was a strange name. But it had a good ring to it. "I like that. Alright, Dante it is." She said with a smile. "Now then, Dante, are you going to sit around or help me find prey?" She mewed in a lighthearted, teasing tone, lightly brushing her nose with his tail tip before heading to the ferns, seeing if there were any mice scuffling around.
(Hi Rose!)
A large, dark shadow joined Silverstar as Stoatfang joined her. "I've sent out the patrols." He told her with a small grin. Ordered was more like it. He didn't really request anything from any cat. The tom's long, curved claws scraped against the rock as he settled down beside Silverstar. He was probably the only cat in the clan allowed to do so.

Mothpaw rooted around in the ferns for a bit, but could bring up no prey. Finally, a lone mouse scurried out. She killed it quickly, and picked it up, walking back over. "This is all I could find." She mewed, setting down the mouse. "It should last us until we're out of twolegplace though." She mewed in satisfaction. Thankfully, it was a decent sized mouse, so they could share it.

"You're very loyal, Stoatfang," Silverstar mewed. "Ha, you killed your own sister to prove your loyalty! But I understand that you weren't able to successfully kill Cinderclaw, is that correct?" her eyes narrowed. The tom seemed strong- something she needed in a mate. Yes, she was thinking of having a mate. She wanted kits to help her cause, for they would live in luxury, being able to watch and laugh as cats died.
"Very good, Firepaw." Brindlefern looked to the sky. "We've wasted a whole day. She'll be angry."

"A minor setback." The massive deputy reassured her. "Cinderclaw is no threat to you. He lacks the drive, and the power, to accomplish anything." He ran a paw down the rock, imagining that it was his brother's fur. "His time will come soon." He vowed with a low growl, showing his clear hatred for his littermate. His amber eyes raised to meet her's. In them, shone a gleam almost identical to hers. He was certainly one of her mind. His gaze reflected his deep respect for her, and his longing. He acknowledged her power, and it was his admiration that fueled his affections. If there was any a cat strong and bloodthirsty enough to be her mate, it was this tom.

"I believe every word you speak," Silverstar mewed. "Even as an apprentice he wasn't good at anything. Hunting, fighting, he could do nothing as well as you could. I'm glad he never got himself into a battle. He would've just gotten a massive wound, whilst Froststar got the medicine cats to treat him. Worthless, is what he is. Just like most of MistClan. Except you and I, of course."

"I'm not sure how these fools got on so long without us." Stoatfang replied with a sneer at the milling cats. "Any cat that shies away from death isn't a cat worth being called a warrior. Hopefully the next generation of kits are raised with spines." He mewed. He wanted to see stronger kits, kits who would live in glory. And if he and Silverstar had kits, they would be the strongest in the forest.

"Oh, really?" Silverstar got the hint as to what the tom was implying, and smiled. "The next generation shall be a strong bunch, that's for sure."

"Have you thought about kits?" He mewed with a small smile. "Although none of these pitiful fools are worthy of you; it is only right that a powerful leader passes on her strength." His hungry amber gaze drew hers, glimmering in excitement at the thought.

"Almost every she-cat thinks of kits- including me. Although, most of those other she-cats aren't worthy of having such delicate creatures. My mother is an example. She was much too soft. If I had been raised by someone else, I would probably have risen to more power than ever," Silverstar mewed.

"Some parents simply cannot properly raise kits it seems." Stoatfang agreed. "No wonder Sorrelpelt and Cinderclaw turned out the way they did. I was lucky I trained myself when I had the chance." He gave her a smile. "Your kits will be brave and strong, just like their mother." He mewed, moving slightly closer to her.

"I know they will be. There was never a doubt in my mind about that. The question is, whom will be their father?" Silverstar stared at the tom who was now much closer to her.
