Hey WFF! I wanted to update you all with what's going on with yours truly and what I've been up to!
For starters, we'll go with the personal touch. I just got out of a summer semester of college. This means I have almost gotten one of three degrees (I almost have my AA and I need a Master's). One step closer to being a librarian and author y'all! I also now have a job as an English Tutor, which means I'm a bit more busy, but now actually have money coming in. I'm also occasionally making some money off my art commissions and art fairs, so there's that too. This is all the WFF's fault. You've created your own monsters. XD
My social life outside the forums is still about the same in amount of people, though it's shifted around a bit. I have several really good friends from school now and I hope those all work out. Though now I come on here and scream about how awesome they are, so I guess it all comes back.
My personal writing projects are still going really well. I have written two full length novels which I am beginning to look into publishing (only just starting to look at options and what I need to do, mind you) because these are my children and I'm really excited to see how good I can get the story. You all know the main character! Or at least you know her alternate reality version. Will C. Morgen, who I've been working on and developing for a very long time, now has two books to her name! Now all I need to do is write the others. Those are in the works and I'm averaging one and a half books for her world a year. I also have several other ideas in the works, which are slowly getting plotted out. This includes a humanized version of the Game (which is still going on, no worries).
This month I am working on Camp NaNo, as usual, while also balancing Art Fight. So far, I am focusing more on Art Fight, but I am still making my writing goals (in minutes instead of words this time). Currently, a lot of my writing projects in Camp have been a warriors story, but this time I am doing a semi-fan fiction Historical Romance for a change (one which might make it out of fan fiction territory if I go and edit some things). I am enjoying writing it a lot and hope to show you all it (in Off-Topic Writing). This goes toward my larger collection of Off Topic Writing in the Immortal Rules series! Which I am also still writing short stories for.
But what about Warriors? Well, I have stuff for that as well!
Sky of Shattered Stars: The Butterfly Effect has been completely written, but is now in the editing phase. Once that is completely up, I should probably have the THIRD AND FINAL book mostly written. The third book will also mark my first completed series! But after that? What's next?
Now, I keep promising the Game writing. While I've been writing Sky of Shattered Stars, I have also been working on the comic Poisoning the Sea, which is in the same series as the Game. I have also finished the comic (I like finishing things) and only have a chapter and an epilogue to edit! From there ... I'm not sure. There are more comics after Poisoning the Sea, or perhaps a book instead. But I will continue to be working on the Game along side any other projects. You will also likely see more clan characters within the story!
But after the SoSS series is completed (fingers crossed), I will be back to writing single book stories.Am I allowed to say we're plotting a co-story, Sapphire? Me and Sapphire are plotting an AU story. *cough* Er, yes, I have single book stories planned. For now, I am moving away from AUs for this next story I have planned. I will be working with a clan of cats based of Norse Mythology! While I have been working on SoSS I have also been outlining a plot for this new book. With any luck, it will be up this year!
I am also hosting the WFF Potluck, with Shadowface still popping in now and again as co-host. We are officially out of hiatus and taking sign ups! On the side, I am also plotting in Messageboard Discussion about wider forum activities, if anyone wants to join in on that.
I will continue to do my best to support all you wonderful new and vet writers! You're all wonderful and I am loving all I have been seeing from you all! Keep up the hard work and look out for a very cheerful Mint.
Love you all!
