“It’s quite alright, love. It’s more your choice than it is mine.. but maybe we should think about trying sooner rather than later.” Roman said gently. “But I don’t want to pressure you in to anything of course.”
Dakota scoffed, “you’d be surprised. I don’t go to many parties. I usually just mingle with the commoners and the guard just to get updates on the kingdom. It’s easy to look above such foolish gatherings when you can shapeshift into whoever you please.” He stated. It was true, he only went to informal parties not all too often despite his talk, but he still found them very fun none the less. “I’ve gotten much better since you were around.”

Alma smiled sheepishly. "Sooner wouldn't hurt at all. It'll do us some good to finally have some little ones running around." She wondered what that would do to her ability to go about her duties, but she would do what she could up until she simply couldn't.
Olgrin just snorted. "Better? You three have become slow and dull. I bet none of you have steadily practiced any combat in a century." Their primal instinct would keep them alive, nothing more. He then glared as Nim stated "I would take slow and dull with my happiness rather than fast and sharp and be heartless."

“Then maybe one of these nights if you’re willing to wait up a little longer than usual we could get around to it.” Roman suggested.
“You are beginning to over step your bounds, Olgrin. You are not a part of our group anymore so you do not have the right to make such judgment.” Uma said gently. Olgrin leaving had only made her more determined to train. She still trained in whatever free time she had, which was a lot.

Alma nodded at that. "That'll work, if we're not up late into the nights too often." She smiled sheepishly. "We'll be kept up late for a different reason~"
Olgrin scoffed. "Please. None of you have no right to say what I can and can't say, ever since you lot cast me out. At least not anything I will consider, not even from you." He watched as the hatchling showed up again, attempting to climb him. As much as he wanted to squash it, he just let him.

“That’s right. And you may need some assistance getting from one place to another the days after.” Roman said, snickering at the thought.
“It seems you’ve lost your touch.” Uma continued, “even a baby isn’t scared of you, but rather acts like you’re your old, kind self.” She said. She seemed a little saddened by this, but didn’t show the expression for long. She then approached Olgrin only to gently pet the hatchling, “it was a pleasure meeting you, little one. I think it’s time for us to get going though.”

Alma smirked. "Is that so?" She was already looking forward to when they found the time. "I'm holding you to that, love." She then looked ahead again as they continued down the path.
Olgrin just snorted, watching little Rhaegar squeak in delight at the petting before going about his task. The dragons bid the Guides farewell, and the hatchling hopped away at his mother's gentle call.

Roman growled seductively a little before looking ahead again. Blu snorted and let out a whiney in what seemed like laughter at their talk. Roman only rolled his eyes with a small smile.
Dakota and Uma said their goodbyes before looking to Nim. Uma then turned back into a swan and this time decided to fly along side Dakota, just fluttering as she waited for Nim to make a move.

Alma smiled in amusement at Blu, looking down at Oak as well. The mare had remained quiet, but knowing her she was probably grumbling some thought or other. "We probably should wait until we're completely alone for such talk," Apma said to Roman sheepishly.
Olgrin just huffed as they walked out into the valley again. "So, when are you tools actually heading out? Now? Later?" That hadn't actually been stated yet, and he had no reason to stick around outside of the proposition.

“Oh, they act like they’ve never fancied anyone in that way before.” He said while giving Blu look. Blu had had a foal a while back with a random mare once he got out of his own stall late at night. It was an utter embarrassment for Roman.
“I’m fine with now.” Dakota offered. Uma just shrugged and looked to Nim.

Alma laughed at that, and Oak just huffed. The mare looked over at Blu though, an ear flicking before she looked ahead again.
Nim just nodded. "Now is good. Let's go." Part of him wanted to get it over with, but another part wanted to investigate.

Blu let out a whiney before moving over to gently nuzzle her fondly. He then shook out his mane in amusement.
“Follow me then.” Dakota said before transporting them to the mortal realm.

Alma watched their horses interact, and she smiled in amusement. She then looked around as their horses continued to carry them, watching the trees and the occasional animal.
Nim and Olgrin followed Dakota after being transported, just letting him lead the way.

Roman hummer softly for a moment as he looked around. He sighed before saying, “I’m glad I ran into you today. I really needed this.”
Dakota stepped out of the forest and turned human. Uma turned human after him. The two walked along side each other. They weren’t expecting to see anyone before they reached the kingdom, but who knew.

Alma smiled gently. "We both needed this honestly, just each other's company without the castle breathing down our necks." It was nice to just be out there with him and the quiet.
Nim and Olgrin switched into their humanoid forms, neither having ever taken an entirely human look. Nim had his pointed ears, slitted pupils and nostrils. Olgrin had pointed ears, regular pupils, slitted nostrils and sharp canines, noticed whenever he spoke. Neither looked anywhere near the more exotic folk, but they also weren't going to take a form they simply did not wish to use.

Roman sniffed in annoyance, “Yeah, well even now I still feel like the castle is breathing down our necks because right now I guarantee you that those men and woman that I told off are anxiously awaiting my return.” He said.
Dakota scoffed as he saw them, “you really think you’re going to be able to get into a human party looking likely that and expect not to get found out?” He then looked to Uma, then back to the two, “of you get found out I don’t know you. I just met you before the party.” Ezra said. His choice of clothing already covered a lot of his tattoos, and he put his two braids up into a bun for practicality. He would also see about changing the white portion of his hair to brown later if necessary. Uma and Dakota both didn’t look too out of the ordinary even in human forms, as they didn’t have the sharp teeth or pointed ears. The only thing really was that they both had wings, but they were very tough to function with as a human due to their size, so both of them opted out of walking around with then there. Uma kept her gaze in front of her still, looking around occasionally.
((They should run into Alma and Roman.

(That can work :3)
Alma shrugged. "Well, they can't exactly make us return, though we probably should soon." She then said "You'll probably stay up late though again due to this little ride. You hadn't finished your duties for the day like I had.:
Nim arched a brow. "Humans are quite used to seeing such folk, given they are the minority and surrounded by people that look even more different than this. We will be fine." Olgrin just snorted at Dakota, adding "I doubt they'll freak out if they've seen things like centaurs and satyrs." Sure, it was a mostly human party, but it wasn't like they were showing their godsblood or anything.

Roman sighed, “yes I suppose we should return. The work I’m putting off won’t do itself.” He said.
Dakota narrowed his eyes a little, “trust me. It’s better to blend in than stick out when it comes to human kind. I would know.” He said while pointing to the others with his staff.
Uma rolled her eyes, “oh please. The only reason why you have to be cautious is because there are many legends of you taking your human form. The second they see your tattoos they’d know.”
Dakota smirked a little, “the only time I let any mortal see those is when I’m on top of them.” He said. His comment made Uma reach out and pinch his ear until he apologized.
Just as Roman was about to turn to go back, he spotted four travelers. “Alma, look.” He said softly.

Nim shrugged. "Olgrin and I have never used these forms among humans. Ever." He then studied Dakota at his last comment, eyes narrowing as his nostrils twitched, the slightest glint of jealousy in his bright blue orbs. His pointed ears then swiveled slightly, angling as he heard voices. Olgrin looked too, seeing some humans nearby. The king and queen. Ugh.
Alma blinked as Roman pointed out the travelers. They didn't look too different, even the more exotic-looking ones. She glanced over at her husband, asking softly "Do you know them or something?" She hadn't ever seen them before though.

Roman narrowed his eyes in concentration, “I think I may know one.. it that was so long ago. I just want to make sure everything is okay.” he said. He then turned and trotted off towards them.
Dakota snickered, “it’s not my fault I’m irresistible.” He then looked up towards the travelers and his whole vibe completely changed.
Roman trotted over, “state your purpose.” He demanded.
Dakota immediately went on one knee, keeping with his character. “My king. We are-“
He was cut off by Roman saying, “Kota? So it is you. My old friend!” He didn’t know Dakota was a guild, but he did pose as his mentor.

Alma looked a little unsure as they made their way over, but relaxed when it seemed Roman and one of the men, "Kota", knew each other for sure. She smiled a little as Nim dipped his head in respect to them both. "Greetings, Your Majesties." It wasn't far fetched at all for them to say they'd seen the royals somehow before, perhaps at some public event or other.

Roman slipped off of his horse to nod towards the group with his own respect. Dakota being his mentor, he knew to pay at least his friends some respect. He then put his arm around Dakota, “what brings you all way out here? You should head back to the kingdom before dark. My wife and I will make sure to notify the guard to let you in.” Roman said, gazing towards the others happily.

Alma listened curiously as Nim said "We were on our way to a gathering, a party, Majesty. It's been... some time since the four of us friends have met up for anything." He then looked to Dakota. "It slipped my mind, where we're going is within the capitol walls or no?"

Dakota shook his head, “we’d be a lot more put together if we were.” He then smiled a little, “thank you for the offer but there will be no need your majesty.” Roman nodded before turning to get back on his horse, “well, it was nice speaking to you all again. Now I must take my leave.”

Alma nodded when Roman mentioned taking leave. "Yes, we really should get back. Our council is probably waiting to chew us out just for this little trip." Nim nodded a little, offering "Maybe if you ever find some freetime, we can meet up. To know that our friend mentors the king, it would be an honor to meet up." Well, Nim already knew of this, as he had to record basically everything.

“Yes, I would like that. I will write Dakota when we are free, though I’m not sure when that will be since we are so busy.” Roman said. He then said his goodbyes before turning and trotting off, gesturing for his wife to follow.
Dakota sighed, “that boy sure has matured over the years.” He said with a small, proud smile. He then looked to the others, “let’s hurry before the sunsets.”

Alma waited until they were gone on their way. Smiling a little, she asked curiously "So, he was a friend of yours, huh? Did you two learn together somewhere or something?"
Olgrin grunted, and Nim nodded a little. "Lead the way," he said, a pointed ear twitching. Part of him was still wary of going to a party, but another part was a little excited to go. Hopefully Dakota was right in where they were going wasn't as... active as what he had seen.

“He was one of my mentors when I was a boy. He mainly keeps to himself otherwise. He taught my father as well.” Roman said. “Though I have to say he doesn’t look like he’s aged a day. Though I suppose he does have the white hair to show his age.” Roman didn’t know that this wasn’t the case at all, “he’s very wise, and struck, but I need it.”
Dakota began to walk again, his staff quietly thumping against the grown as he walked with it. They ended up reaching the place just as the sun was about to finish settling. Dakota then lifted his staff and made it disappear before turning to the others, “here we are. Just try to have fun, okay?”

Alma nodded a little. "Sounds like a good guy. I didn't have a mentor really besides my parents. They taught me how to fight and prepared me to inherit the ownership of the Arena." She had schooling and everything, but not a "mentor" like Roman.
Olgrin huffed, as if offended Dakota had to remind him. Nim just twitched his nose. Both looked around to take in the view of the gathering, making sure nothing was off before doing much else.

“Well when I was a boy I had tutors and mentors because my parents were so busy. I did have days where I shadowed them. I loved doing that. This type of learning and training is also what our children will have to go through.” They wouldn’t be allowed to have the same schooling as the townsfolk. Only the best could teach the prince of princess, Roman would make sure of that.
Dakota looked to Nim, taking his hand, “you’re coming with me to socialize.” He insisted before leading him towards a crowd of people, who greeted the two happily. At these gatherings Dakota really liked to just mingle instead of doing anything crazy.

Alma smiled gently. She remembered when she was still learning to help rule the kingdom. At the mention of their kids' schooling, she nodded. "They'll get nothing less than the best. Plus, they've got us to teach them how to rule the kingdom."
Nim blinked once, his ears angling back and downward a little for a moment in nervousness as he was led to the crowd of people. He was surprisingly smooth in his talk though, and friendly as well. Anyone who knew him could still tell he was wary though. Shy even. He was relieved that it was just socializing though.
