I won’t get into the why’s, but I have been eating the bare minimum for a while...
Previously, I was able to somewhat eat on one side, but I think I’ve put too much pressure on a tooth on that side of my mouth. So, I’m back to this drawing board, of only eating things that I can just swallow or that I can grind quickly with my front teeth.
I’ve tried looking up possible options for this before and that had varying results.
(Most sandwiches or bread really, are out due to the chewing involved, so that’s not really an option.)

Pudding, mashed potatoes, Jello, maybe malto-meal, or Ready Brek if you're from the UK, soup, peas, I think, they're really soft, so you could probably just mash them with your tongue and the roof of your mouth.

when i got my tonsils out i had a lot of applesauce and soup, you can also sometimes swallow rice without much chewing Ah, I didn’t think of applesauce at all! I tried to get soup a while ago, but was told it was too hot for it. So, that’s unfortunately out.

No idea what malt-meal or Ready Brek is. Mashed potatoes and pudding, I definitely could get though. (If my dad wasn’t feeling too bad, it’s likely I could get those items today.)

Aw, I hope your dad gets better soon. It's kinda like oatmeal, but not as oatey, and more runny, it's really good.

(And he just pulled a muscle in his back, I think it’s bothering him more than he’s letting on though.)

It does def keep you warm XD A lot of people hate lumps in theirs, but I love the lumps, it's my favorite part

She keeps forgetting which makes sense since she’s away visiting family. And I’m too nervous to do it myself. I also don’t want dad to do it since my mom generally sets these up and knows the receptionists pretty well. So, it would just be better for her to do it, even if waiting has been difficult.

Good luck I should probably go to the dentist too, I have three broken teeth, but I don't have dental insurance, and one my biggest fears is being in debt, so yeah

(The latter is disgusting and tastes like medicine.) With some soda, since I can’t help myself sometimes. I’ll have to see if we still have pasta around the house...

How did that even happen? One was from eating this cookie thing with caramel and peanuts, another was from crust on an overly cooked pizza, and the third was erosion from bile

Especially the third one, I hope you’re able to get them fixed soon. And that they haven’t been too much of a hindrance.

Thanks They haven't actually bothered me at all, like, I don't even notice unless I'm eating and get food stuck in the places where the rest of my tooth used to be. I can kinda the third one that I mentioned, but it's just slight dull pressure, that doesn't bother me too much. I've always had a high pain tolerance though when it comes to my teeth, my orthodontist told me that I was the only person he's put braces on who didn't cry lol

Update: Had my dentist appointment. Got some fillings done.
I go back on Thursday for some fillings on the other side.
But ugh, my jaw just hurts a lot... Even opening it, feels painful.

Try soup that's just warm instead of hot, and cream based instead of broth. Like leek and potato.
Just recalling what I ate after my wisdom teeth were taken out....protein milk, soup, overcooked pasta (much softer and you can swallow it whole or with very minimal chewing), curry sauce with rice, fruit smoothies (even just milk + bananas + peanut butter is delicious), ice cream
Honestly you'd be surprised at what you can stick in a blender to liquefy.
