It wasn't the most beautiful morning, with the ground still being unpleasantly wet- but it wasn't enough to stop Ratpaw from his regular morning stroll. Now, that being said- Ratpaw wasn't too happy about the mud sticking to his feet. Mud is just glue. A gross, brown glue. Why does it even exist?
Ratpaw had hurried back to the den with haste, feeling as if this dirt being on his fur any longer would kill him in seconds. Though, in front of it, he was greeted with Rainpaw. A very tired, disgruntled Rainpaw. As if the poor tom had asked, Ratpaw was already rambling uncontrollably about the state of his pelt. "Look at me," he whined, "Disgusting!"

Tumblepaw yawned widely, blinking up at the entrance of the Apprentice's Den as Goldenpool barrelled in. Over a moon after moving into the Apprentice's den and he still had issues with the early mornings, though he was getting much better. Huffing slightly, he pushed himself into sitting position, giving his fur a few cursory licks to get it into some sort of order. His ears flicked back for a brief moment as he glanced at Goldenpool, wondering if 'All the Apprentices' included him or not this time. It got him down sometimes that some of the Warriors seemed to think him lacking or incapable, but mostly he preferred to ignore it and do the best he could. At least that attitude seemed to lessen as he proved he could keep up. "Sorry, Goldenpool," He spoke up tail curling around his front paw, "But do you know if Leafscar wants me to join you or if he already has something else in mind? I haven't spoken to him this morning yet."

Stonepaw jumped awake as her mentor, Goldenpool bolted into the apprentices' den talking about fixing something. Felling groggy from just suddenly waking up she slowly sat up in her nest rubbing her eyes free of sleep glancing over at Tumblepaw as he spoke to Goldenpool. Stonepaw sighed thinking about her days in the nursey with her mother, Quailbreeze, back then she didn't have to worry about waking up early in the morning or having other cats barrage into the den.
