So I want to see how much Clan bias can effect reader's prospective. So I'm taking a random passage from the Books and tweak the context (Only ranks/names will be edited. The names will also be made up.). Then later - I'll reveal where passage comes from and compare the real-life fan reaction to the original. I think it'll be an interesting comparison.
Also - For those who know which book this comes from - Don't spoil it, please. It would ruin the whole thing. Thanks.
Read through and put your option on the different characters - Such as who's in the right and wrong:
Leo - Half-Clan, Kittypet and Clan cat. Son of Lucy and Skyheart.
Lucy - Kittypet she-cat.
Skyheart - Clan tom
Luna - Kittypet she-cat. Mate/friend of Leo.
Blaze - Clan she-cat who later joined kittypets. Daughter of Skyheart and Half-sister of Leo.

Rounding a fallen tree, Luna skidded to a halt as she saw Leo, Lucy, and Skyheart facing one another. All three cats were panting and wildeyed, a terrible tension singing among them.
“Tell me this cat isn’t my father,” Leo growled at Lucy.
His mother flicked her tail. “He gave up the right to be called that long ago. It was his decision.”
Leo’s eyes widened as he stared at Skyheart. “You knew all along? But when I found you, you didn’t say anything!”
Skyheart shrugged. “You want nothing to do with The Clans. I want nothing to do with the Twoleg Place.”
“You have no idea what it was like, growing up without a father.” Leo’s words sounded as if he were being choked. “And now I find out that my father was a Clan cat! Everything my neighbours taunted me with is true!”
Luna felt her heart tear with sympathy for Leo, more painful than any wound. She took a pace toward him. “That doesn’t matter!” she told him. “Every cat knows that you are a Kittypet.”
Leo rounded on her, his teeth bared. “Stay out of this,” he snarled.
As Luna gazed at him, unable to leave but not knowing what else she could say, the sounds of fighting drifted through the trees, screeches and the crackling of paws through undergrowth growing steadily nearer.
“You should never have come here,” Lucy snapped at Skyheart, then bounded away toward the noise of battle.
Leo turned to his father, stiff-legged with fury, his neck fur bristling and his tail bushed out to twice its size. “Leave now,” he ordered. “And never come back.”
Skyheart gave his chest fur a slow, deliberate lick. “You can’t tell me what to do, son,” he drawled.
“I am not your son!” Leo growled, taking a threatening step forward. “I am a Kittypet!”
“A kittypet with warrior blood in your veins,” Skyheart taunted him. “Will your so-called friends ever forget that?”
With a roar of fury Leo sprang at him; his claws slashed across Skyheart's throat. Luna saw Shyheart’s body lying limp on the ground with a great gush of scarlet blood flowing from his throat, staining the snow. “You killed him!” she gasped,
staring in horror.
“He should have left when he had the chance,” Leo snarled.
“But he was your father!” Luna protested.
Leo turned to face her. Luna could see her own horror reflected in his eyes, but his voice was cold. “He was nothing but a useless Clan cat.”
Before Luna could say more, new cat scent drifted over her. Blaze spotted Skyheart’s body and bounded forward to stand over him, looking down at him in dismay. “What happened?” she gasped, her voice shaking.
“He tried to attack Luna,” Leo replied. “I had no choice.”
Luna opened her jaws to contradict Leo’s lie, then picked up his amber glare and knew there was nothing she could say that wouldn’t make everything worse.
“But was that wasn't necessary…” Blaze began.
“This cat wasn't one of us,” Leo interrupted. “Now go to your Twoleg nest and tell the rest of these wretched cats that you don’t need rescuing."
He set off toward the Twoleg place at a run. Blaze remained standing over Skyheart’s body, gazing down at him with grief in her eyes. Luna padded up to her and gave her a gentle nudge. “We have to go.”
“He was my father,” Blaze whispered.

After the battle, it came to light Skyheart had led the Clan cats to attack, so they could rescue Blaze, unaware she joined willingly. Leo was now aware Blaze was his sister, yet...Impatience welled up inside Luna and she let it spill over. “I’ve had enough of the way you always treat Blaze like a heap of rotten food,” she hissed. “It’s not her fault that Skyheart was her father, too. You have to find a way to deal with it. She’s not just your neighbour, she’s your sister!”
“Don’t ever say that again!” Leo growled with a lash of his tail. “I have no father. Blaze is nothing to me.” He turned his back on her, then glanced over his shoulder to add, “You’re lucky I was there to defend you when he started to attack. You didn’t stand a chance.”
