I want to make clan based in a swamp, it will be post-apocalyptic so no two-legs will be around and some animals will be more dangerous and hungry due to shortage of prey for now.
The territory is a wasteland swamp, murky waters, dead trees, muddy terrain, etc. The only place with life on it will probably be on the hill that the clan calls home.
Now I've come up with a lot of the detail but could still use some help with making a layout, and coming up with fun plot-lines to start the clan off. The clan itself is relatively new so there won't be many clan rules at first which should make things interesting, and also the position of medicine cat will be discovered later on for story sake. I hope whoever is reading this can help or give me suggestions on making a good clan, and thanks for reading this!

-Territory- (so far)
General Territory- A swampy wasteland where cold-blood reptiles love to call home, not to mention vultures and hawks looking for an easy meal. Most of the land is soft and muddy all year long, except in leaf-bare when it all freezes over. Most tree in this are are bare and dying except for the Sky-tree that still flourishes every new-leaf and green-leaf.
Thistleclan Camp- Atop a large hill lies Thistleclan camp, surrounded in tall grass and reeds. This place is naturally safe from flash floods that tend to happen during the storm season in green-leaf. All dens are made of either paw woven grass and bracken or out of fallen and hollowed out trees.
Sky Tree- A tall and suspected ancient tree, resembles a birch tree but its trunk and branches are more twisted around. Was originally called the Twisted Tree but was later named after the brave soul who climbed to the very top of the tree for the first time, Sky. It seems to be one of the only living trees left in the area besides a few growing saplings. Any cat brave and strong enough to climb to the top is said to be able to see the whole territory and camp from up there.
Shimmer Pool- Down the hill and to the east of camp is the Shimmer Pool, unlike most sources of water in the territory this pool of water is clear and easy to see the stones laying at the bottom of the shallow water. Some cats have felt a strange sensation being close to the pool, but for what reason is currently unknown.
The Muddy Delta- A water delta that feeds directly into Murky Lake from Crystal Lake, in green-leaf this delta tends to overflow and turn into flash flood. The ground covering this area is especially slick and muddy, cats very young or old have been known to get stuck in the mud and have needed assistance getting back out.
Murky Lake- A large lake with dead trees standing and laying in it, this place is hold to alligators, turtles including the snapping turtle, venomous and nonvenomous snakes, frogs, cranes, herons, and other creatures. The water here is dark and well... murky, its impossible to see the bottom and not to mention the dangerous that lurk beneath the water's surface.
Crystal Lake- Down the hill and to the West of camp is Crystal Lake, this is the main drinking source for the clan as the water here is refreshing and clear. Though it is far from camp, the clan will send out water patrols sometimes to collect water for kits and elders. Through most of Green-leaf the water will dry out until storm season when it will fill and even overflow causing a flood.

History:
Everything changed only a few seasons ago, when what some cats call the 'Blinding Light' came and all the two-legs went missing and plant life began to diminish. The world became a ruined wasteland, this is where the story began...
A group of kitty-pets and rogues that lived in the sewers of the old two-leg camp were able to avoid the 'Blinding Light' and survive. They ventured out in search of survivors and soon the small group of six soon grew into a much bigger group. The cat leading this group was a elderly she-cat named Thistle, along with some help from her son Needle they lead the group far from the two-leg camp in search of a new home.
Within a couple days they reached the swamp that would become their home, but what they didn't realize was how dangerous their new home would be. A couple cats had been captured and eaten by alligators, some had a few close calls with some snakes as well. They found a clearing just below a tall hill and settles there for the night, Thistle and her son kept watch that night. A steady rain fall had been pouring down for what seemed like ages, the cats thought nothing of it until the water began to rise well above their paws and up to their underbellies. Thistle and Needle yowled in alarm to wake everyone, and with Needle's quick thinking he helped to lead everyone up the hill to escape the rising waters. Thistle in her old age was slower and fell behind to the back of the group but managed to push herself to stick with everyone. They made it to the top and everyone was alive, many of the cats thanked Thistle and Needle for what they did. As dawn was rising Needle woke to the sound of his mother's ragged breathing, he sat by her side and called out desperately for help. Thistle calmly looked at her son and shook her head saying she was ready to go, her time had come and she was no longer needed here. She wiped away her son's tears with a soft, shaky paw and told him "It's your turn to lead..." the two nuzzled each other as Thistle took her final breaths.
Needle looked to his group of cats and gave them a reassuring smile, this was his group now and he decided to name his group after the cat that led them here. Thus Thistleclan was born...

ThistleclanIntroduction A black tom with silver markings approaches you, his expression is welcoming but stern, "Welcome to Thistleclan, whether you're a survivor of the Blinding Light or you were born into clan you are safe and welcome here. The territory is cruel and unforgiving so its best to stay in the safety of numbers. Here you will learn to defend your home against predators and how to hunt to feed yourself and your kin." His sleek fur brushes yours as he leads you to the very top of a hill, he ducks down into a crouch and stalks under some bramble and thorns. He flicks his tail signalling you to follow. As you emerge on the other side of the wall of thorns you see before you a spacious clearing filled with cats. You glance at the tom who chuckles at your stunned expression, "Welcome home, if you need anything come find me. My name is Needle and I am the leader of Thistleclan."

Camp Camp- A large clearing on top of a hill, the tall grass having been walked over and flattened over time. There are paw made dens and a few fallen logs or dead tree stumps inside the camp. Surrounding and protecting the camp is woven brambles and thorns.
Camp Entrance- A small curve in the woven brambles making a sort of funnel for cats to enter and leave, its not very big so usually cats will have to duck to slink into and out of camp.
Leader's Den- A hollowed out, dead oak stump with bracken and leaves covering the top as a sort of roof. There's enough space for two cats to stand in there.
Warrior's Den- A large den made of bracken, leaves, and twigs. All nests are made mostly of moss as well as other soft items like feathers.
Apprentices Den- Slightly smaller than the warriors den, made of the same material.
Nursery- A lone flowering shrub/bush, the area around it wrapped with brambles to keep predators away even if they break into camp. The ground is soft but not muddy making it safe for kits.
Elder's Den- A long hallowed out long, its a tight fit but elders can squeeze in and out of the den alright.

Rp Rules
Follow all forum rules and guidelines, no exceptions as well as clan rules. Let's keep things civil as we can please so everyone can have fun.
Under no circumstances will bullying or harassment will be tolerated. You'll have three strikes and then I will have to ask you to leave.
No godmodding or killing characters without permission.
If you have one important role, leader, deputy, or medicine cat please don't be greedy and go for the other two important roles. Thank you.
If you're going to be inactive for a while please let me know, i know everyone is busy with their own stuff but i'd later everyone to be on and rp here at least once a week. Put 'swamp' in the other section of your joining form. I will make exceptions for some people, but if you have an important role then I need you to be on here at least once or twice a week. People who are inactive for three weeks without giving me a heads up first will be removed from the front page, you are free to join up again when you can be more active.
Try to keep genders even as well at the apprentice to warrior ratio, so if you make an apprentice also make a warrior as well. It'll really help.
Please don't try to rp as your own mate, that being said you can still join with a queen who has a dead or simply unknown mate.
I will age cats by one moon every two weeks, helps to keep everything move smoothly.
As the creator of the thread I reserve the rights to change or add the rules whenever I see it's needed. Any suggestions are also welcome if I'm missing a rule or two
Warrior Code
Leader's word is law. Queens, kits, and elders must be fed first. Prey is to be eaten, not played with. Do not kill or attack fellow clanmates.
(More rules will be added later through rp)

Allegiance
Leader:
Needle- A jet black tom with long, ragged fur. Has a silver stripe down his back as well as a silver face, tail, and paws. Underneath all his fur is a rather skinny and lanky body, though he's not physically strong he is smart and quick on his paws. He has icy blue eyes that stand out against the silver and black fur on his face and body. He has some cuts on his ears, a few scars on his nose, and a nasty scar on the back of his head/neck. Needle is stern leader, he feels he needs to appear strong and confident in order for his new clan to listen and believe in him. Inside however he often questions and second guesses his decisions. He's had to proven himself to be rightful leader before by fighting a few of his clanmates in self defense, but he'd never have the courage to kill one of his own. 52 moons old. (Applescent)
Deputy:
Warriors:
Rose- Gray-blue she-cat with soft, short fur and a long tail. She has rosy-brown 'points' on her face, paws, and tail. Her almond shaped eyes are a vibrant forest green. Rose is a very serious and protective cat, she has trust issues with strangers and takes a while to warm up to others. However, she is a smart and quick cat who is ready to jump into the fray anytime when needed. Although they are not related by blood she acts as a motherly figure to Lavender who made the original journey with her 33 moons. (Applescent)
Fear- Pale yellow tabby tom with spiky fur. He has a white muzzle and tail tip while his face, paws, and tail have different shades of tan or pale yellow fur on them. He has dark blue eyes that almost seem completely black at times. Fear is a jumpy tom, he was pretty shaken up after the Blinding Light happened and has been a nervous wreck since. Once you get to know him though he's a very sweet and playful tom. 28 moons.(Applescent)
Sky- A mostly white she-cat with pale yellow fur and tabby markings on her back, tail, and ears. Her limbs are long and very strong making her very good at running and climbing, she has a light pink nose and bright amber eyes. Sky is the opposite of her littermate, Fear. She is adventurous and brave, however at the same time she can be very reckless with her own safety which makes those close to her concerned about her. She's very positive and bubbly, which some cats find soothing while others may find it annoying. 28 Moons. (Applescent)
Trout- Dark gray-blue tom with spotted tabby markings. He has a white muzzle, chest/underbelly, back paws, and tail tip. He has a cut on his left ear and a small scar on his right cheek. His eyes are a dark amber, almost brown color. Trout is somewhat vain about his appearance and would rather spend his time grooming than hunting or fighting, although his prides himself by considering himself one of the best fishers in the clan. He's not a bad cat, but he judges cats too harshly on their outer appearance instead of who they are on the inside. This makes him an easy target to be tricked and deceived by actual bad cats. 22 Moons. (Applescent)
Apprentices:
Lavender- A mostly white she-cat with silver spotted tabby markings and long, fluffy fur. She has silver markings on her face, tail, and paws. She has a dark grey nose and pale blue eyes. Lavender is a shy and quiet she-cat, she keeps to herself most of the time and does what she's told. She a sweet cat but doesn't have much of a 'back-bone' right now, despite her friend Rose's help to make her more confident. 8 moons. (Applescent)
Queens/Kits:
