~ The Renewal ~
Only three years ago Darktail had taken reign over the entire territories, torturing Clan cats who didn’t accept their fate slowly with starvation and killing any he believed would betray him or already had. Eventually, though, the island of which they lived upon grew clustered and cramped, cats trodding on one another’s tails. They were split into five groups: The Pine Group, The Oak Group, The Moor Group, The Stream Group, and The Island Group. Soon, though, the cats becam restless and tired under several ranks of leadership, including the leaders of their groups and Darktail, groups constantly challenging each other only to be punished by the overall leader when battles between them arose. They ended up becoming new versions of the Clans they had heard of and some of which remembered, though they united for the first, and hopefully only, time to capture and kill Darktail. After moons of careful planning and persuading Island Group cats, they made their way into the camp and launched an attack, murdering Darktail in the end.
The Island Group, horrified, fled from the territories, and eventually joined SkyClan and BloodClan in becoming a scattered and forgotten settlement. Meanwhile, the other four groups, now Clans, forged their names off of the leaders now appointed that had led the rebellion and overrode the previous leaders. The Moor Group became BreezeClan, The Pine Group became ShadeClan, The Oak Group became LeafClan, and The Stream Group became RippleClan. Now, the Clans are starting to settle into new life, but are unprepared for the dangers awaiting them.
