Hey! Im a demiboy (he/they, i prefer he/him tho) who has some pretty unsupportive parents. I think the closest I have to describing myself is bellusromantic and gynesexual (i feel attracted to femme, and andro presenting people, my partner is genderfluid so,, idk sexuality is weird). I've tried to come out, didn't work. I found out I had bad dysphoria for two years, sometimes its there, sometimes it fades into my anxiety and depression. I have bad social dysphoria, and horrible physical dysphoria, heightened by the fact I dont have anything, a binder, a packer, a way to get T, nothing. Im a minor who's just condemned to sit and wait. But I'm chill! I got a supportive partner and some ways to cope.

hi! uhh the last time i commented on a pride thread was back in 2016 so i think it's about time for an update
i'm rowan and i'm a nonbinary lesbian! i've been in this weird state of kind-of-out irl and totally out online, name change paperwork is still being filed (after six months of waiting for it to be filed....) and i'm dating a really cute girl named elise! i use they/them and ae/aer pronouns (i know neopronouns aren't always easy to remember or some people don't like them, haha...) but only recently started using the latter pronouns, after a while of being nervous about using neopronouns...
hmm what else... im allosexual, nondysphoric (? i used to be dysphoric but not anymore), and gay as all hell. i love. Wamen

THAT BAT IS SO CUTE OMG
this thread makes me happy, it's so nice to see diversity and pride stories .o.
anyways, I'm pretty much attracted to everyone, regardless of gender or orientation. None of that has bothered me over the years; I just like people. A lot. They're fancy.
I'm genderfluid and occasionally crack jokes about it irl, but I'm only out to a couple people...mainly because most of my friends would probably wind up laughing at me for it or not taking me seriously. My birth name is irrelevant and I hate it, so I typically go by "Jayce" whenever I can, and even have come up with a backstory in case anyone irl finds it that I'm not out to yet.
I typically dress in what would be considered stereotypical men's clothing, because I find it ten times more comfier than women's clothing... the running gag at my one job was that they all thought I was lesbian because of how I dressed and how flamboyant I am sometimes; it took the guy three months to realize that I wasn't lesbian....and it was beautiful.
I also do not care what pronouns are used for me. Don't call me an "it", and we'll be just fine.

I'm bisexual and genderfluid. I've always kind of known that I'm bi for as long as I can remember, but for most of my life I vehemently denied it and tried really hard to convince myself that I was really straight. I came to accept my sexuality just around 3 or 4 years ago.
I'm out to everyone online pretty much and only a few irl friends, my mom, and brothers. People online take it very well and accept it, and the same goes for my irl friends. My mom seems kind of okay with my sexuality, she prefers if I date boys but I'm not sure how she'd react if I ever dated a girl. My half brother is completely fine with it, but my full brother seems uncomfortable with it and hates it when I talk about liking girls.
Only two friends know about my gender identity, and they're okay with it. I've tried hinting it to my mom but I don't think she gets it, and she hates it if I try out boy clothes so maybe it's better if I don't tell her.
There's no way in hell am I telling my dad about either.
As for the extra stripes on the flag, I'm not really sure what to think of it. I feel like there should be another way to address the racism within the community without changing an already established flag, plus the two colours don't go well with the original colours at all.

Hello Im asexual and demiromantic, although I haven’t come out yet. Maybe my sexuality might change in the future, who knows? But for now, I’m happy with who I am. My pronouns are she/her/they/them (both, I don’t mind)

kinda random question for all of yall but i was thinking about it earlier
do you like the colors of your pride flags, or not so much? i've always really liked the rainbow flag (who doesn't) but i wish the genderfluid flag's colors didn't clash quite so much. i'm not asking about the meaning behind them or anything, just how they look aesthetically lol
on a similar note, are there any flags that you wish were in the mini-profile pride options, but they aren't?

I'm a lesbian kind of in that weird place between being in the closet and out. I'm only out 'officially' to one person irl but I don't make a secret of it either. I'm pretty sure a lot of my friends and family know - you can only go on about how attractive girls are so many times before people get suspicious lol I am finding more and more that I want to actually tell people, though, which feels like a sign that it's time to do that and be more open about it. I know I'd be supported, and I feel so grateful for that, but it's still terrifying to think about so I'm dragging my feet a bit haha
as for the flag, I really like the lesbian/sapphic flag honestly. I really enjoy the pinks and reds. I wouldn't say I prefer it, the rainbow flag has so much meaning, but it is the one I find myself using more

I’ve got a lot of flags I could potentially use
I’d say I agree on the genderfluid flag; I don’t hate it, but it’s probably my least favorite at least of the ones I can use (and I’ve seen an attempt at a redesign which had good intentions but which aesthetically I liked even less; i remember it had pastels similar to the trans flag, which on one hand is a good idea in terms of representativity, but on the other hand, Too Many Pastels)
I love the bi and genderqueer flags, and I like the rest of them

i totally agree with all of these! and it's super interesting to hear everyone's thoughts and personal stories on the matter too, i've definitely had a few moments like that of my own. i used to identify as bi quite a few years ago now, but i still think its flag has some of the prettiest colors ^_^

Ace flag looks really nice imo. There are some flags where I don't really like the color combos, like aro and genderqueer. But I love the trans flag, non-binary flag, and all the demigender flags. The colors just kinda go together well I think.

I actually really like the lesbian, ace, and genderfluid flags! Not only do they have my favorite colors, but all three of them just look so nice and the colors really flow with one another. I actually bought a bracelet and a crochet wristwear item because I love the genderfluid colors so much...... I wear the bracelet on an every day basis, and have actually been asked about the colors on more than one occasion.
Not a huge fan of the nonbinary flag though, but to each their own.
