"Ok." Moonpaw said, looking around the clearing, wondering what move to do. Nodding to herself, she lashed her paw out quickly and drew it back in before striking it again. She then dropped down to her belly and rolled to the side and stumbled clumsily to her paws before moving her jaws open and closed to an imaginary enemy. Panting slightly, she looked to Robinfeather. "How was that?" Robinfeather tilted her head, "hmm, you were quick with the striking but you quickly lost energy, you need to be stronger on your paws and faster for when you grip your enemy with your jaws so they dont escape" she padded closer. "Now i want to see this up close, pretend i am a rouge attacking, attack me" she answered back. "Alright." Moonpaw flexed her paws as she thought about the best way to go the request. She took a deep breath before lunging forward towards her mentor, reaching a paw out to tap, claws sheathed, her mentor's muzzle before dropping low to the ground and rolling to the side, this time putting more energy into the move and quickly got up. Moonpaw flashed then flashed again her paws out and towards Robinfeather's flank before jumping backwards. "How was that?" She asked. |

Robinfeather nodded, impressed. "That was good, when you are fighting with claws unsheathed, try to put alot of strength into your swipes." She purred, resting her tail on her apprentices shoulder. "Now i will attack, you ready?" She meowed.

Spottedpaw padded over to Streamstar," do you think you could help me gather some herbs?" She flicked her ears, hoping that Streamstar would help her. Snowpaw nodded and balanced herself, hoping to get the move right. She tried again, keeping her balance this time. "Much better." Rainheart praised. "Just make sure to keep in mind of your form when performing these moves and there shouldn't be many problems. Now.." The white and black she-cat took a few steps back, spreading her legs into a defensive position. "I want you to use a few of the moves I've shown you, from this session or others, and attack me. Pretend I'm an intruder in the camp. And remember to keep claws sheathed because this is just practice." |

'This is your time to shine Moonpaw.' She thought to herself. 'Don't let Robinfeather down!' The silver apprentice looked up and gave the deputy a determined look. "I'm ready." |

Robinfeather smiled, "alright then" she took a step back and waited for a breif moment. Then suddenly she flashed out her right paw, aiming for Moonpaws front legs, keeping the apprentice districted the deputy then leaped beside Moonpaw and knocked the apprentice sideways. She waited for Moonpaws move.

Moonpaw startled, caught off guard, as she lost her balance momentarily due to her mentor nearly sweeping her off her paws. She recovered quickly though and rushed towards the opposite side of Robinfeather, pushing her weight to the front of her body. Moonpaw then used her hind-legs to push gently but forcefully against the older cat's side attempting to knock her over. She then jumped a bit away.

As soon as Moonpaw kicked Robinfeather gently with her hind legs, she pretended she was pushed forcefully. She dropped and rolled to her side away form Moonpaw. Immediatly springing up to her paws and lunging at Moonpaw in attempt to pin her, gently.

Moonpaw fell backwards, landing on her back. Her mind tried to recall the options she had for being pinned. 'Should I just play dead?'She thought. It was what she would probably do if this was a real fight but she had a feeling her mentor would anticipate this move so she tried to think creatively. Moonpaw lifted up her forepaws and ran them down her mentor's stomach, mimicking claw scratching.

Robinfeather jumped back, preteding she was scratched. She spun and faced Moonpaw. "You make your move" she wanted to watch how well her apprentice was at performing the moves. She let Moonpaw run at her before Robinfeather swiftly dodged and grabbed her gently by the scruff, dragging her onto her back.

((Gahh can we just say Badgerfall just came back with a rabbit and a pigeon?
Sootwillow let it a small cough, and looked around his den. The medicine cat pushed himself to his feet, and padded out of his den.
Grabbing a mouse from the fresh-kill pile, he sat down, and began to munch.

Cloudpaw saw Mossheart and padded over to her," are we doing any training today?" His tail flickering, hoping they would try to hunt.

"Aha!" Mossheart flicked her tail, sitting up and facing Cloudpaw. "I think Robinfeather has taken Moonpaw out battle training so they would most likely be using the space. So we could do some hunting and possibly build up your strength with some climbing" She purred.

Mossheart rested her tail on Cloudpaw's shoulde. "Now Cloudpaw We are going to something different tommorrow. I want to do hunting AND climbing training for you today, wether you like it or not" She meowed firmly but in a friendly manor.

Sootwillow finished up his mouse, and slowly rose to his feet. The tom let out a soft growl.
"Young cats these days. Never around to help the medicine cat. Not even my own apprentice!" He huffed.
He padded back to his den, his pace antagonizingly slow, the older gray tabby taking his time. When he got there, he immediately began to sort his herbs, separating the cobwebs from the tansy.
Why is it even there in the first place. He thinks with a frown.

She lunged forward and onto the deputy's back, digging her paws into the fur before her. |

Rainheart allowed for herself to stumble before reacting quickly, reaching a paw out to gently deliver a strike to the apprentice's muzzle. The she-cat drew back to only move back and grab Snowpaw's scruff, giving it a few soft shakes. She paused in her motion, waiting to see what the apprentice would do. |
