I asked Kate about it on BlogClan
She just said "She was a really good student?" but it was phrased as a question, so I guess we'll just have to wait until Lost Stars is out to find out.

Oh, that's interesting! I was under the impression that at least a year or so had passed. IvyFern's litter was still quite young in the last book, so I equaled six moons until their apprenticeship and six moons for training. Their litter and DoveTiger's are roughly the same age, iirc, so with Bristlefrost as a warrior, I figured Shadowpaw is still an apprentice because of his position. I believe the books stated that medicine cats (usually, excluding special cases like Puddleshine, Littlecloud, and Mothwing, of course) take longer to receive their suffixes; Squirrelflight, Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Sparkpelt got their full names before Leafpool, Jayfeather, and Alderheart. I guessed this might mean Pouncekit and Lightkit are warriors, but Puddleshine hasn't made Shadowpaw a full medicine cat yet.
Now this makes me wonder if Bristlefrost received her warrior name pretty early before her siblings? That might explain a shorter time gap than what I was thinking.

"Because she's a mary-sue!!!!!!11111!!!!"
Anyway, maybe her siblings got held back. But it's not like the Erins haven't rushed ceremonies before. I mean, just after a couple of books, didn't Spark and Alder get their warrior names so fast?

To be fair, Thistleclaw got his name earlier than Rosetail did, due to his fight against the dog. Maybe Bristlefrost works reallt hard, who knows?
Or perhaps Bramblestar’s strangeness will start with him choosing favorites or making cats apprentices or warriors earlier or later than others. >:3

But both villains were handled very poorly about it.

Like I said on another thread, she either did something to earn her name early, it's an inconsistency, the time between TRS and LS is actually larger than what Kate had initially said, or her name might just be an early spoiler.

My money is on the time gap actually being longer than Kate said. I mean, come on. 3 to 4 moons doesn't make sense. TRS is early newleaf, LS is leaf-bare. That...doesn't match up.

I’m thinking at least a 6-9 moon gap honestly, at the least.
