Acornfeather
I was an unknown cat. To PondClan, they didn’t know me properly. But I never really knew myself. I didn’t know what had happened before me, and neither did I really want to know. Then I saw her. Crouchwillow. The prettiest she cat in all of my Clan. I wanted to get to know her. But no one trusted me. And she had eyes for Sandyblaze, anyway. Then there was that day. The final battle of the UnderStars. Blossomflight and her group would be gone for good. We fought. Crouchwillow was there. I saved her. I wish. Sandyblaze killed me before I could.
Acornpaw
Us three got on well at the beginning. But everything changes. Ashpaw grew vile. But no one could blame him. Applepaw grew nervous. Acornpaw, myself. Grew too daring. It was a hunting trip that started the trouble. Me and Ashpaw and Applepaw. Hunting out in the forest, like littermates do. There was a scent. Fox. Applepaw insisted getting help. Ashpaw turned away. I, plunged into the danger. And because we’re littermates. They protected me. But I wanted that to change. The foxes, they were more dangerous than I ever thought. I took the blows. And that’s why I’m blind.
Acornstar
Maybe I shouldn’t have let them into the Clan. Five loners, all worn out and starved. But I had to remember the long ago stories of Firestar. A kittypet.
I couldn’t deny them could I? So I let them enter the Clan.
It was all good, was DustClan. Roseshine was next to be in line as leader, and I still had six lives left. Some disapproved of these cats. Shadows would cast at night. Sometimes I wondered what they were. Should I investigate? Maybe I should’ve. Now I lie here bleeding. Six lives wiped clean. These five loners. Overthrown me.
Adderclaw
It was another day in FallClan. Another day when I thought what my Clan was becoming. Especially a certain one in it. They were a monster.
Tansytail was just one of the things in this puzzle. But the Clan were pulled apart from one thing- her granddaughter. I didn’t know what to think. It seemed the Clan did that for me. I couldn’t blame them. After the massacre which left the Clan broken. But this kit, she had done nothing wrong. So I left my feelings aside and focused on other things. Even though it might’ve been hard, it wasn’t as hard as what others had been through.
Adderleaf
It was a hard leafbare. That’s all he could say. Time was stopped. An extreme sadness had swallowed him. Two bodies lay, small bundles of fur. Mallowkit and Swampkit. “I’m sorry.” He breathed huskily, collapsing to the ground. Yet another kit remains, a grey tom named Stormykit. He questions, but doesn’t ask. He can see what has happened. Along with the fresh mound of dirt nearby. Adderleaf’s sister had passed away earlier that day. The wound of grief was still deep in his heart. His mate Sleetshade, looking on wearily. Silence. As the blizzard blew. A hacking cough from him.
Alderdapple
Being deputy was hard. “Alderdapple sort out a patrol!” “Alderdapple come hunting with me!” Alderdapple this, Alderdapple that. Quite frankly, the she cat had enough of it. Getting up, she noticed some cat about to speak. But rushed out the den before she could hear. “Hopestar!” She called. A golden tabby leader emerged from the den. “What is it?” Alderdapple hesitated for a second. “Why did you pick me as deputy?” Hopestar looked at her in sympathy. “I picked you. Because you are a loyal warrior Alderdapple. Everyone gets overwhelmed.” Alderdapple felt slightly reassured. “And get some rest for once!”
Alderstream
I never knew what happened before me. Brightflight refused to tell me. Of the terrors the Clan had suffered before. I didn’t investigate. It wasn’t my place to stand in. But one slip up changed it. Then I learned. My father. Eaglestar. He was a killer. Responsible for the deaths. I despised it. Although I kept it hidden. My mother didn’t know I knew. Neither did my siblings, but they remained oblivious as I once had. Then I was captured. Brightflight saved me. And as I glance at her body, I know it was him. Eaglestar. He caused all this harm. And his next victims? His kits. Me, Echo and Jay.
