Leafstar - Camp - Lycaonia Leafstar purred, gently settling down to sit. She swished her tail and smiled. โThatโs great. How long do you think it will be until your kitting? Our clan is always looking for some new life. Oh, things at camp are going very well. We do miss you as a warrior very dearly though,โ she mewed with a little chuckle. She could see Lilyfernโs immense love for her two or three kits in there, and knew that the queen would make a great mother. โI hope youโre comfortable in here, and that itโs not too stuffy,โ Leafstar added.
(Sorry for short reply, Iโm a bit occupied!)

Lycaonia lazy penguin Blaze โก, Iโve got to round you all up and ask a question! So, do any of you have minor or major plot ideas? My mind is pretty blank right now but Iโd like to stir up the pot and start some clan drama now that the clan has enough members.

[ It's an abandoned island right? Maybe we can do something with twolegs? Maybe someone brought the island and wants to live near where the clan lives and starts putting traps up. Either live or typical fur traps ]

Ooh, yeah! Good idea, Iโve been thinking about something like that. Iโll think of something revolving that. Meanwhile some minor relationship drama is okay, I heard that you had a little thing in mind with one of your characters according to the joining page? Iโd like to hear about it.
Edit: Iโve got to think up some mentor/apprentice relationships too. Iโm thinking Nightwhisper for Snowpaw, not sure about the others.

[ I am not sure how that plot will be resolved in the end but it could just be an ongoing problem that the clan has to live with. Unless someone has an idea for the clan to win against humans.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot c; I always have this plot I associate with characters that have kits, because drama, especially family drama with romance is fun and entertaining to rp. Last time, I did this type of rp. It was a deputy and ambitious warrior. It was lot of fun, mostly because my character thought that the tom wanted her position (which he did) but he wasn't going to kill her or anything but they had a fall out and Blaze just let clan assume another tom was the father.
Here are the three scenarios I use as a base, which we can build on unless you have different ideas. Close friends - friends with benefits kind of deal that ended "accidentally" had kits (aka they are still in denial about liking each other) Fling - Maybe the tom is aware that he has kits. Or she-cat kept it a secret because she hates him/doesn't trust him with her kits Broke Up - Maybe one of them thought the other cheated and refuses to have anything to with them/kits. ]

Interesting! I think it would be more of an ongoing problem, youโre right, because thereโs really not much of a way for the clan to win (they just have to cope).
For your family drama ideas, I think all are pretty good. Iโm leaning towards the third or maybe first, wbu?

[ That's what I was thinking. I don't see how cats could get humans to go away, especially since they are "feral cats".
I am cool with either or. The third one is the one that I have done and it was fun. If we could with the third idea, do we want to keep the idea that one of them was cheating? Either Nightwhisper didn't think Sandcricket is his kit or Shyrabbit thought he didn't love or was being faithful and lied about Sand being his. I am having too much fun with this scenarios. xD ]

[ What season is it?
also I haven't roleplayed in awhile, so I might be somewhat rusty cx ]
Linnetpaw / Camp
Linnetpaw mumbled in his sleep, as he slowly started to awake. His ears twitched, listening to the noises coming outside of the apprentice den. The rest of clan seemed to be awake and active, although Linnetpaw felt a slight twang of guilt for hoping that they were all still sleeping. He shifted around his nest as he blinked his eyes open in the dim of the den, trying to blink away the sleepies from his eyes. 'I need to stop volunteering to go on dusk patrol,' he thought to himself as a loud yawn escaped from him. He felt like going back to sleep but it would be good idea to see what was happening within camp. He was still surprised his mentor let him sleep for a couple extra hours. Linnetpaw pushed himself to his paws, stumbling for a brief moment before regaining his balance. He stepped of his nest, heading for the exit while stretching out his long, lanky limbs to help ease the stiffness from being curled in a ball for a couple of hours. He really needed better sleeping habits. Linnetpaw's gaze flickered around camp, pondering on what he should do. He could his stomach rumbling but wasn't sure if there was enough prey for him to grab a small piece for a brunch meal. He shrugged his shoulders before padding over towards the fresh-kill pile to check it out. The temptation was too great, anyways, he could catch some more prey on a hunting patrol later today if he needed to.
Sandcricket / Old Halfbridge
Sandcricket padded out of the trees. She had tucked her pieces of fresh-kill under a bush as she took a small detour to come here. It was one of her favorite places on the whole island. She purred as she saw the structure appear in front of her along the vast water. She picked her pace, moving into a trot as she headed for the halfbridge. She didn't even wince as her paw pads touched the hot surface of the thunderpath in front of the bridge. She padded along the bridge, heading to the furthest part of it that stretched over the water. She plopped down close to the edge of the bridge, she wasn't worried about falling off. She would be able to swim back to shore, the water looked calm today. She curled her tail over her paws as she stared out at the ocean. It was nice to get away from the cluster of camp, it was quiet and peaceful.

(I think itโs Greenleaf, so spring. Iโll put up mentor-apprentice relationships on the pages soon and then maybe make replies for my two open characters.
Edit: Yeah, maybe Shyrabbit thought that Nightwhisper was unfaithful or didnโt love her or something, that would make for an interesting mini plot.)

[ Sweet! Cloudyburr and Linnetpaw are going to be so adorable together o3o They both just want to learn things. <3
If anyone wants to roleplay, Linnet is in camp and Sand is out on a hunting trip but is currently taking a break. Shyrabbit and Raggedfinch are free to pop up anywhere; so feel free to have them pop up in your starters ^^;
radiolizard That sounds plausible. Shyrabbit is kinda prideful, so she has enough dignity to break off what she thinks is an unfaithful relationship. I will leave up to you; whether or not Nightwhisper really cheated or if it was just rumors that were spread. ^^; So would they still be mates but estranged mates? Also when should have this conflict started? Before Sand was born or a few moons after? ]

(I think probably a few moons before Sand was born it would have started. Adding onto your second point: Nightwhisper is a really loyal kind of cat, so Iโm not sure if he would actually do something like that. They would essentially be estranged mates, yes, but Iโll keep them up as mates on the relationship page.
Edit: Iโll post starters tomorrow morning or interact with some of your cats but not tonight, Iโm so tired ackk)

[ So roughly two years of most likely passive=aggressive antics xD (Shyrabbit isn't a forceful/explosive angry feline. She is very passive, slow, simmering anger is more her style). We can go with rumours then, Shy usually has a clear mind but love always makes people do silly/paranoid things.
No problem. I am supposed to play cards with my family and I suppose meet my friend online to play some video games ]

( Yeah, lol. Nightwhisker probably would have tried to persuade Shy otherwise at first or tried to make โamendsโ, but eventually he would have just avoided her as a whole, like he does with all those he doesnโt want to interact with. On second thought, I might be able to get my starters up if I feel like it a bit later. )

((I know I'm new, but I also have some plot ideas to throw out there. I'll make them bullets for now, and we can expand on them if anyone is interested or sees potential:
- To tie in with the Twoleg invasion; perhaps certain cats or a cat could use the traps to their advantage? Maybe purposefully pushing/leading their comrades into the traps to murder them? I know it's dark, buuuuutttt I like that ahaha
- Jumping off my previous bullet is motive... if more than one cat is involved, I am thinking a possible rift could be developed in the Clan. I mean, they have been isolated for so long, I find it hard to believe there isn't some bipartisan conflict with how things should be run. Maybe some cats want to split off from TreeClan and divide the territory and live according to their own beliefs? This can be as radical or as diluted as you guys want. -- I'd personally have Mothclaw and Firestream involved in the antagonistic faction.
- If the Twolegs are not going to be a long-term problem, maybe they can become disinterested in the island because the water level is lowering? Which leads to a new conflict... perhaps the receding water opens up an ancient stone path that leads to another island, or back to the mainland, and the Clan has to figure out if they are going to cross it. Maybe the Twoleg activity caused prey to run scarce? I'm kinda rocky on this idea, so more input would definitely mold it better and help it make more sense ahaha
- My last idea is more supernatural/outrageous but maybe TreeClan's individuals with "odd" eye colors start developing powers or gifts? And this leads them to being expelled or shunned out of fear? Maybe this could tie into the stone bridge appearing, and the Clan has to decide whether or not they will sentence these newly gifted cats off island, possibly to their doom?
Like I said, I'm new and I haven't even posted my starters yet, but I still wanted to contribute somehow. hehe I'll be posting for my characters soon. My wife and I have more errands to run so my activity will be spotty for the next few hours.))

Brambleflower - Camp - Blaze โก As always, the pretty dusty red-brown she-cat was lounging outside the warriors den. Her beautiful fur was splayed out around her as she yawned, licking her paw nonchalantly in an effort to attract some attention from some she-cats. The day was nice and she had already gone on an early hunting trip that had rewarded the clan two skinny mice. That was enough work for her today, she thought.
Unfortunately there was no one to talk to... Brambleflower frowned slightly and looked around camp with narrowed blue eyes. She was almost about to go join some patrol, but thankfully her sight landed on Raggedfinch, her brother.
โRaggedfinch!โ She called, bouncing up and padding over. Her head bobbed up and down happily as she moved. They hadnโt talked very much recently, and she wanted to know everything about how his life was going.
โHey! Howโs life? Any pretty she-cats youโve been interested in? Ooh... any... drama?โ Brambleflower asked excitedly. She purred amicably, prodding him in the shoulder with her soft brown paw, claws sheathed.

(Oh my goodness all of these ideas are amazing! I think that first off we can think about the twoleg problem, and introduce a few traps. Then the issue of a conflict between the clan cats will strain Leafstar a lot, it will be quite interesting. During this conflict maybe one of the cats on one side begin to use the traps to their advantage as you said earlier, and that will also be a problem. Once all this passes, the murderer is found, and the clan issues are resolved, then the supernatural and receding water ideas can tie into each other as you said.)

[ I have been in a couple. They are alot of fun, especially if they have a good base and information about how the clan would operate as supernatural creatures. One of my old friends had a clan where they shifted into different "monsters"; like werewolves, mummies, gargoyles, fairies, and yet. It was interesting twist to normal warrior clans.
I have to go uptown and put some of my paycheck in the bank. I will probably be back later on ^^; ]

[ Nevermind. I forgot it's Presidents' Day so the bank is closed ._. also as a note to anyone, let me know if you have a problem reading subs. I can make my text bigger. It's just an old habit from years of rping. ]Raggedfinch and Brambleflower - Camp - radiolizard
Raggedfinch let out a loud yawn. The tom was sprawled out on his side, resting in the sunshine. His head was resting on his paws and it appeared the tom was snoozing in the afternoon sun. He closed his eyes as he felt the warmth soak into his brown fur. The sunlight made his fur look like it was glowing dark ginger. He didn't mind lazy moments like this, especially during Greenleaf. Prey was becoming more plentiful and it was usually a time of relaxation for most of the clan. Everything was calm.
Raggedfinch blinked open his eyes lazily as he heard his name called across the camp. The tom didn't pick up his head as his sister came closer to where he was. She seemed to be in a rather... bubbly mood today. "Brambleflower," he returned the greeting with a soft purr, gazing up at her with his pale green eyes. He continued to softly purr as his sister proceeded to bombard him with questions. Raggedfinch couldn't help the small chuckle that at Brambleflower's energy. "Life is life, " he pointed out, humor lacing his meow. "I wake up and I go on patrols and then I nap," he couldn't help but laugh. There wasn't much to do lately. Raggedfinch shoot his sister an amused look, "Shouldn't I be asking you that?", he shot back, his gaze gleaming mischievously. Some of the cats in their clan had caught his attention but he wasn't sure if he would share that with his sister, who probably wouldn't have any problem telling whoever it was that he fancied them. Interesting that she mentioned she-cats, he thought, twitching his whiskers. Maybe his sister had a crush on someone and was fishing, or perhaps, she forgot that he was bisexual. "Absolute nothing, the camp seems to be currently drama free," Raggedfinch meowed in a calm and smooth voice, it was a peaceful outside among the island and within a camp. He was sure he wouldn't stay that way for long. Some cats were more violate than others.

Rainstone - Camp - radiolizard , Blaze โก
Warmed by the sun's gentle glow, Rainstone's pale silver eyes glinted like starlight. She was standing at the edge of camp, observing; as statuesque as she was, it was a miracle she had not begun to gather moss on her thick, dusky gray fur. Watching the passersby, her face was void of emotion. This was her only pastime: to observe from afar.
She behaved more like a gargoyle than a feline. A still sentinel with a stony visage, seeming to be fettered by mortar and masonry. Her demeanor only seemed to flinch from its petrification when the ring of a familiar voice lilted in the air. Ears perked, Rainstone watched a familiar face cross the clearing to Raggedfinch: Brambleflower. Rainstone's heart fluttered in her broad chest.
Brambleflower's enthusiasm seemed to shed light on the camp. Her voice melted Rainstone's posture, and she leaned toward the she-cat's direction, hoping to catch a note of her sweet voice in her ears. There was a mysterious glint in her silver eyes as she stole a glance at Brambleflower. However, her eyes quickly flitted to ground, pretending to see something more interesting... as if.
Mothclaw & Firestream - Old Halfbridge - Blaze โก
Acrid odors wafted off the Thunderpath as Mothclaw led Firestream to the Old Halfbridge. His pink nose wrinkled in disgust as the scent assaulted his nostrils. Crossing the Thunderpath was necessary to reach the Old Halfbridge, where they could attempt to fish at its sheltered base; minnows and the like often gathered beneath the bridge when the sun was high in order to avoid the heat of day.
"Bleh! I'll never get used to the stench of this place!" Firestream hissed, sounding offended to even set foot on the sleek, black road. "Sure, the Twolegs may be gone, but their damn scent will never leave..."
"Will you quit going on?" Mothclaw snapped. "We're here to hunt, not complain."
Firestream fixed Mothclaw with a glare, amber eyes glowing. She pushed passed him defiantly, her dark ginger fur looking even darker against is golden pelt. Although Mothclaw was her past mentor, Firestream failed to comprehend the "warmth" most apprentices share with their teachers; Mothclaw was and always would be a rat's ass. However, he still helped her stay on task, even after becoming a warrior. The rookie was due for a tongue-lashing from her superiors after slacking off in camp all morning; thankfully Mothclaw whisked her out into the territory for a spontaneous hunting trip. As she pushed passed the reeds, she recognized a familiar scent.
"Sandcricket," Mothclaw murmured, blue eyes glinting. He too detected their Clanmate's scent. "She must be out for a hunt too."
"Duh! I could've told you that," Firestream snapped haughtily.
Standing beside Firestream, he scanned the shoreline that flanked Thunderpath. Sure enough, he spotted Sandcricket was sitting on the halfbridge peacefully. Mothclaw debated as to whether or not they should disturb her. She likely went out for a solitary stroll. Before he could make his decision, Firestream bolted for their Clanmate. She looked like a spark of embers as she dove down towards the shore. Despite her beauty, Mothclaw only felt irritated as he watched her go on.
"Hey, Sandcricket!" Firestream called. She sprung onto the tender wood of the old bridge gracefully. "Thank StarClan you're here. I thought I'd have to spend my day with Mothclaw..." She sat beside the she-cat with a giggle. "Wouldn't that be tragic?" She flashed a haughty glare in his direction.
Mothclaw hung back as the young warrior joined Sandcricket. His golden fur prickled with agitation as Firestream proceeded to relax beside their Clanmate, as if she was not on a hunting patrol. Unsheathing and sheathing his claws, he contemplated going down there and teaching Firestream a firm lesson in respect. After all, his reputation preceded him; he did not have to go down there and play nice in front of Sandcricket.

Rosefang stumbled forward, her ears heating as her leader called her forward. Did she notice? She worried, giving her chests a few licks before she tuned in. Oh- it's just for a mission. She felt the fur along her back start to lie flat. But still- Unoccupied, her mind scoffed, It's as if I'm worthless. And 'best for me'- like I know she's my leader but dear StarClan does she have to be so pretentious with her phrasing. Flicking her ear Rosefang somehow managed to stay quiet- though she was sure her face wasn't doing as well.
"Uh-hu, so Streamtrickle..." her voice trailed off. Of course she'd be saddled with someone annoying. Lowering her voice to a whisper she muttered "I suppose he's non-negotiable..." She watched slowly as Wolfheart disappeared into the Medicine Cat den, shuffling her paws during the silence. She was about to start up a conversation when the smaller she-cat reemerged rambling off about Lilyfern and their "mission".
And then the icing on the cake- Streamtrickle had already eaten. Of course he would have, because it wasn't like things could actually work out in her favor for once. "I've also already eaten- let's go," she lied, her fake enthusiasm coming across as clunky and weird. Reflexively her stomach groan, but there was no way she was going to prolong this trip any longer by eating in front of everyone.
"When do we get back?" Streamtrickle's question broke her train off thought. She stifled the urge to snap at him that it was all relative on the herbs they found- like a hunting patrol, but she supposed it would be more meaningful if the medicine cat told him this, not a warrior such as herself. Yawning, the young warrior put a smile across her face and hoped the whole patrol wouldn't be filled with senseless chatter and dumb questions. The outlook, however, was not so good.
