Ivorymoon sat looking at the camp, his bushy tail flicking side to side. He couldn't help but feel a wild tension deep within himself, but he worked hard to ignore it. "Best hunt, no?" He stood up and made his way toward the camp entrance.

Swansong owlspotsSwansong purred happily, looking both ways before quickly eating the fish, thanking StarClan for the prey they had given her as she went. There was no real point in bringing it back to camp, it had barely been the size of her ears. Swansong padded over to where Owlpaw had been watching, a wide smile on her face, "Okay, let's practice your fishing position," Swansong crouched down briefly to show the position, before getting back up. She always found it better when she let apprentices try the crouch first, before she critiqued them. After a while, it would come to them naturally, "And, when we've mastered that, we'll practice the different fishing techniques." She flicked her tail to indicate Owlpaw could start.

Hey guys! Letโs get the ball rolling on the plot. Iโd like a murder to happen eventually, preferably of an NPC relative. If any of you would like to offer up a specific one to be murdered, that is welcome. First off before all this murdering business though... we have to make everyone take sides. Streamtrickle will be hosting a meeting soon for all the rebels and maybe one of the loyalists can crash the party (so an argument ensues). Does that sound good to you all?

Also, sidenote, Leafstar and my rebel boy Streamtrickle are open and I donโt really know whatโs going on with Nightwhisker! Note: I think it would be cool for Streamtrickle to develop a crush on Firestream, one-sided or not. He is the kind of cat that would try really hard to impress his crush. It would be interesting to see him interact, and heโs already got so much on his plate!

Rainstone - Camp - @radiolizard
While the whole Clan did seem to shun Brambleflower for her reckless announcement, Rainstone was not any less attracted to her presence. If anything, the speech she made only brought her closer to Rainstone. She finally seemed to drift to the edge of society, where Rainstone lurked, and it seemed she was regretting it. Rainstone did not care of anyone's opinions, whether they reflected her or not. The energy and time it would take to mull over another's thoughts was uninteresting to her.
"I don't care about opinions," she replied, voicing her thoughts. "They're superfluous really," she went on, voice cold. "They malleable and unreliable. Someone can have an opinion one day, and it'll be different the next." Rainstone realized she was giving a drawn out response for a short answer and cleared her throat in embarrassment.
Reorganizing her thoughts, she continued, "What I'm trying--and failing--to say is that you can say whatever you want around me; I won't think any less of you."

Firestream - Old Halfbridge - Blaze โก
"Well, I had no choice," Firestream murmured wryly. "It's not like we get to pick our mentors."
The day Firestream became an apprentice was a blur. She could only remember the cheering as the ceremony ended, and how her Clanmate's hollers continued to ring in her ears long after. Little did she know, her life would change for the worse. Firestream's siblings, Redclaw and Cinderstorm, were gifted with patient and kind mentors. She got a menace. From day one he berated her, doubted her, fought with her... Every day became a living Hell.
"It doesn't matter what he is. That does not excuse how he treated me," Firestream snapped defiantly. She relented for a moment, amber eyes flashing with regret. "I know I was not the easiest apprentice. But nobody's perfect, right? I just wish I realized how abnormal of a mentor he was while I was an apprentice, then maybe I could have talked to someone that would help me."
Staring out across the lake, she shrugged her petite shoulders with a sigh. "Eh, you know what they say about hindsight. No use pissing and moaning about it now."
Sandcricket always seemed to know what to say. Firestream eyed her suspiciously. It made her wonder just how many secrets the other she-cat held. Just how many conversations did Sandcricket share with warriors as disgruntled as herself? Frowning, Firestream decided it did not matter. Sandcricket could repeat their conversation to anyone, and Firestream would not regret a word. It was nice to vent to someone, and good company was hard to come by. Feeling Sandcricket's tail brush against her paws only reinforced her appreciation. A genuine smile flickered across her face.
"I don't think there'll ever be a 'way' to leave," Firestream realized. "I think, one day, one of us will just muster up the courage to just... go." She laughed at the idea. "It ain't gonna be me, I'll tell you that straight. I'll be the first to admit I can't make it alone."
Her ear twitched as she heard Sandcricket adjust on the bridge, laying down. She was happy Sandcricket caught on to her joke. She stuck her tongue out at the other warrior and laughed as she batted at her. Her mention of becoming a bird piqued Firestream's fancy, but like usual her attention flitted back to reality. "I wouldn't want to be a bird," she countered, chuckling. "First off, they've got wayyyy too many predators. Imagine being eaten by a snake... or worse! One of us." She shook her head. "I'd only ever want to be me." Raising her chin proudly, she continued, "I shouldn't have to sprout feathers in order for that to happen. Cats are meant to be free. All these rules and ideologies... it's senseless! I feel like I'm a mosquito getting trapped in tree sap; I'm doomed to become amber, frozen in the stars forever as 'a warrior that once was.'"
For once, Firestream looked forlorn. The fiery ginger she-cat gazed across the lake as the sun drew closer to its surface, setting. Another day was ending. Another day... wasted. She did not realize she and Sandcricket were sitting out together for so long. Time flies when you're with friends.

Maybe a little time skip would be good so everyone can start fresh with their characters (that way we can kick the plot into full gear and get rid of some really stagnant RPs.) If you donโt want that then time can just be liquid as you said. Is everyone okay with this?)

Brambleflower - Camp - graygoyle Brambleflowerโs mouth curled up in a slight, sweet smile as Rainstone spoke. She didnโt want to admit it, but it was weird being on the side that not many people supported. She had always just followed the masses and kept her popularity in the clan without fail. It was... sort of thrilling to differ from the ordinary and finally make her voice heard.
โAbout the opinions, I suppose youโre right. However, now that times are changing... some cats should stick together for support,โ The she-cat mewed quietly, casting a subtle glance at Rainstone before continuing. โAnd I appreciate your support. It makes me happy to find that someone will respect me with whatever opinions on the clan I may have,โ she added.
(Sorry for the short reply, Iโm quite tired today!)

AshstormOpen.
Ashstorm lay by the elder's den, head resting on her paws as she watched the ongoings of the camp. Her eyes lingered on the younger warriors who had dared to protest the ways of TreeClan life. What did they know of what it meant to be a warrior? They had never fought blood-and-tooth for their clan. They had never suffered true loss. They were just a bunch of antsy, unsure apprentices, at most, upset at the fact they weren't important enough to have StarClan talk to them directly. Her tail-tip flicked on the ground as she spotted Streamtrickle, the first one to jump up onto the leader's rock, calling the other cats to join him, before she continued on through the camp.

OOC;; I think I'll go ahead and make up Leo's form and put him up as a murderer, Radio. Maybe he could start it? ~โโโโ~Dreamwhisper - Forest - dnacat"Think we've found the brat," Dreamwhisper muttered, amused as he pushed past some branches. He could see the white fur almost instantly through the small openings. He instantly surveyed the apprentice's hostile appearance and scowled. "Whoa there, Whitepaw. Wouldn't want that pelt of yours dirtier than it already is." The ruddy tom joked half-heartedly, more sarcastic than anything. He honestly didn't even know how to deal with his apprentice sometimes. His personality clashed with his own most occasions. He was hoping Spruceleap would do more good than him in the situation.

Whitepaw โงฦฌะฝัฦโฯ
ัฦฮฑั"Oh, Dreamwhisper, Spruceleap, it's just you," Whitepaw mewed, feeling a wave of relief crash over him. Had it been Blackscar, Whitepaw probably would've been blind for the rest of his natural life. He looked between his mentor and his brother, cocking his head backwards, "Didn't know you two were-" Whitepaw cut himself off as he felt Spruceleap's burning gaze on him, as if his half-brother were trying to burn holes into his pelt, "Is this about what happened in camp?" Whitepaw spoke like a kit, weirdly innocent. Might as well prolong what he knew was inevitable.
Spruceleap"Don't play innocent, Whitepaw," Spruceleap spoke firmly with a no-nonsense voice. Moons of watching Whitepaw grow from a cheery kit into a moody brat had given him the chance to learn how to spot when Whitepaw was attempting to dance around a situation, and Spruceleap was not about to let that just happen. The tip of his tail flicked three times, but looked to Dreamwhisper. He assumed the mentor would want to lecture Whitepaw, and he was willing to allow him to speak, biting his tongue.

Laurelwing sat nearby Ashstorm, his front legs tucked under him and his head raised, glancing about the camp. He had watched Whitepaw stand on the rock and speak against TreeClan, but... the elder wasnโt sure if he should stand up for his grandson or not. He could see both arguements, as it can be easier to fend for yourself with no kits or weaker cats with you. And the island was big enough for more than one group of cats, for sure. However, caring for others is what made the Clan strong, creating strong familial bonds between cats who werenโt even blood related. If it werenโt for the Clan, who knows what would happen to a deaf old cat like him?

Ashstorm โจ nissabug โจAshstorm looked over to Laurelwing, who sat a bit away from her, a pondering expression on the elderly toms face. Ashstorm had known the tom since he was a kit, Laurelwing being only two moons older than Ashstorm. He was her only friend who had survived all the way into elderhood with her, and at this point, he really was her best friend. They had seen everything about each other's lives. Ashstorm cleared her throat, in attempt to make her voice less raspy and spoke as loudly and as clearly as possible as to get only Laurelwing's attention, "What do you think about all this... nonsense?" Ashstorm looked at the tom, blinking curiously.

Laurelwingโs ears pricked when he heard Ashstorm speak, and had really only heard the second half of it. But with all going on, he could guess what she was asking about. He turned to her and blinked his eyes slowly, thinking of how to put this without sounding like he was one side or another. He could tell she didnโt like what Streamtrickle did. โI donโt think these young cats know what they want,โ he finally said, his voice raspy but gentle. โMaybe theyโre just itching to see what itโs like outside of a Clan.โ His eyes narrowed a bit. โBut I can tell you they definitely need to learn some respect. Jumping on Leafstarโs rock like that...โ he trailed off, shaking his head.

Ashstorm โจ nissabug โจAshstorm nodded slowly at Laurelwing's words, processing them. She looked to Streamtrickle again, feeling anger prickle inside of her, lighting the tips of her ears on fire, before she looked back to Laurelwing, "Well," She spoke loudly and clearly, shifting so that she was a bit closer to the tom, "If they're so desperate to see what life is like outside of the clan is like, let 'em. We'll see how much they don't need StarClan after two moons alone." Ashstorm scrunched her nose up disdainfully. Usually, she liked the younger warriors. They were just as passionate and firey as she been when she was younger, but it was clear that for some of them this passion was being put into something unworthy of their fire and liveliness, "Back in our day, had one of us tried to pull that, our mentors would have half-drowned us in the Crystal Stream and then forbade us from any training."
Ashstorm recalled an old friend of hers, Pebblepaw. A pretty but much too rebellious she-cat with her head in the clouds, who had fallen in love with the idea of living by herself as her ancestors had. Pebblepaw had brought up these ideas once in training, not even in a spiteful way, but simply pondering what life would be like. In return for her hint of disloyalty to StarClan, her mentor had made her stand vigil at the Crystal Stream, in the cold leaf-fall night, and the next morning she was made recite the warrior code. Any mistakes she made was another patrol added to her schedule. Pebblepaw would go on to be possibly one of the most devout cats Ashstorm knew.
She sighed, wheezing slightly afterwards and trying to cover a cough, as she looked out across the camp, to the leader's rock. What were StarClan thinking, up there in the sky, as they looked down on the cats of today? Ashstorm didn't really need to ask that question, she knew her friends, family, old comrades and old enemies would all be shaking their heads, wondering how the clan had gotten this way. Ashstorm, even at her 108 moons of life, made a silent promise to still fight for TreeClan, for StarClan, no matter how much more young and spry her younger counterparts may be.

Laurelwing let out a rumbly purr, his good ear swiveling toward Ashstorm to hear her better. โVery true,โ he said, remembering what their mentors were like back then. They were definitely more harsh. โAlthough, I hope Dreamwhisper doesnโt punish Whitepaw too much, it at all. Heโs young and impressionable.โ He stretched out his paws and laid his head on them with a sigh as well. He couldnโt imagine going against StarClan so adamantly; despite all that happens to them, they are blessed just the same. But if those cats wanted to stray from the Clans and StarClan, then so be it. He was almost curious to see how this rebellion would go, or if it would just phase out. โI donโt know about those warriors, though.โ

Ashstorm โจ nissabug โจ
"Mm," Ashstorm hummed in agreement, ear twitching. Whitepaw as impressionable, and young, and probably bored out of his mind, but he had seemed true, and honest and completely foolish as he called out that StarClan had betrayed him and the other cats too many times. If Ashstorm were Whitepaw's mentor, he'd be on elder's den duty for the rest of his apprenticeship and he'd know how to rehearse the warriors code backwards, but she had to agree he did not deserve a punishment too severe. The warriors, however? They were young, yes, but they should have known better. Ashstorm looked to Laurelwing, letting out a sharp breath of air through her nose that was supposed to be a laugh, "Let's just hope this passes, hm? Our elderly hearts wouldn't be able for a revolution. We'd probably collapse as soon as any real fighting started."
