Hello! Welcome to a new roleplay that will most likely die in 5 minutes :,) So, I decided that this will be a roleplay about rogues who live by the ocean and begin to live together in time. There will be drama, romance, grief, and anger as this roleplay as it moves along. Please just hop in with a character and get started! Just follow forum rules. lgbtq+ is welcomed. If you cannot except this, then just don't join. Have fun! Moon - Black she-cat with green eyes. Clumsy and fun-loving. (Future clan leader)
Bramble - Tortoiseshell tom with yellow eyes and long fur. Quiet and dreamy. (Future Warrior) Hawk (~Skyblaze~ )- Golden-brown tabby tom. Dislikes ocean water. Zeff - Dark brown tabby she-cat. Not easily impressed by Eclipse. (Dingo )
Eclipse - Plain ginger she-cat. Jumpy and energetic.

Moon sat quietly on the shore, listening to the waves. Lovely, She thought, smiling. She stretched, and then padded into the waves. They licked around her legs, cold but pleasant. She continued deeper and deeper until she had to swim. Silver scales glinted in the sunlight, and Moon dived into the water with a deep breath. She opened her eyes despite the sting, and followed a green fish that panicked and swam away. She skillfully followed it, her eyes trained on the rather big fish. Moon reached out with her claws and caught the fish's tail, and held tight on it. She broke to the surface, breathing hard, and swam to shore with the struggling fish. When Moon washed ashore, the fish stopped flipping after a quick blow to the head. She bit into the slimy skin, relishing the salty taste. "Mmm," She meowed quietly as she took another bite.

Hawk shifted his large paws through the sand, letting the tiny grains run though his claws idly. Unlike most cats in the area, he disliked the ocean. He had been brought here, forcibly taken by twolegs many moons ago, and when he had finally escaped, the massive body of water that stretched before him was the only thing keeping him from going home. He had made a living here, but he was aloof and a bit grumpy, and when he looked out at the ocean, it was when he thought about his previous life. The young golden-brown tabby shook his head slightly as he continued along the beach, eyes flicking upwards as he noticed a flash of black among the blue waves in front of him.

"Oh, come on you lump!" A young, dark auburn tabby practically bounced over every wave that soaked the sandy beach. Behind him an older she-cat rather grumpily trailed his path, keeping well clear of the salty water. She seemed unimpressed at, judging by their ages, looking after this young cat. She rolled her eyes as the young cat splashed through the water back to her, an odd object hanging delicately from his jaws.
"Zeff, what's this?" The young tom dropped the odd thing between their paws. He cautiously tapped one of its five 'sticks' with his paw, jumping back as tiny little things moved beneath his pads. "It- It has five legs! Are they legs? There aren't paws on it, but seagulls don't have paws either...Is it a fish? It doesn't have fins though, and it can't be a plant because it's moving!" The tabby crouched down, peering at the odd creature as it slowly seemed to drift across the sand. Both cats leapt back as a wave crashed into them, Zeff glaring at the young tom. The five-legged creature was gone.
"Eclipse!" Zeff barked at the dark tabby as he stuck his nose to the wet sand to sniff out the creature. Eclipse stopped, dead still, and slowly turned to look at the ginger molly. Sheepishly he padded over to her, ducking his head. He was supposed to be learning hunting skills from Zeff, not chasing around weird sea creatures.

Moon glanced up the shore. There were crabs, seagulls, snails... And a golden-brown tom. Wait, what? She squinted to have a better look. He was a little broad, and he seemed to shine in the sunset. She didn't say anything, she just studied him from the distance as she slowly ate her fish, one paw protectively over her shimmery green prey.
Bramble padded over to Zeff and Eclipse. "I wouldn't touch that 'weird creature' if I were you," He meowed, flicking his tail casually. "They're called crabs. They have what we call pincers. They pinch." He glanced to the shore. "You might want to hunt in the ocean instead. There's fish like bass, trout, ooh, don't forget the tuna, but they live deeper in the ocean..." He went on and on about edible fish.

Eclipse frowned, staring out at where the weird creature had disappeared to. "But I know what a crab looks like, one bit me once! I mean, pinched me once!" The auburn tabby lightly touched his paw to his left ear, a narrow, long nick where he had stuck his head into a crevice and promptly been attacked by a crab. Zeff made a thoughtful noise, and Eclipse looked up at her.
"Starfish, because they look like stars. Five long branches, or whatever. If you put your paw in the centre of them they do kinda bite though..." Zeff shook herself after some thought, pleased with the look of horror on Eclipse's face at the mention of biting. Never be too trusting of anything. Eclipse's shock wore off pretty quickly, and he turned his cheery face to Bramble.
"I've nearly caught a minnow before! Or whatever those silvery fish are that swim around near the shore. There's loads of them at once, it's almost like they could knock me over if they tried! And what about tuna, how are you supposed to catch those? Zeff says not to go out very far because of these big fish called sharks. I've never seen a shark but apparently they have really, really sharp teeth, and lots of them! And they hunt fish, even the really big ones! What does shark taste like, have you ever caught one?" Eclipse rambled, eyes wide as he spoke about sharks and fish. He stared up at Bramble, tail quivering at the thought of fighting a giant fish. How did that work? Sharks didn't have claws so how did they only use their mouths?
(Eclipse is the dark auburn tabby, Zeff is just plain ginger ;0 )

"I heard they eat these little black shells with creatures inside," Bramble nodded to a big cluster of black things plastered everywhere on the rocks. "I don't know how. Starfish are so slow. And about the tuna? Sometimes, there aren't any sharks. But there are defenses against them. I've fought one before." He padded to the rocks and took one of the shell off and came back over. He put it down and pawed it open. fleshy stuff came out, and he ate some of the stuff. "Not bad." He meowed thoughtfully as he chewed the weird meat. "No wonder why starfish like this.. Stuff. Try some." He nudged the other part towards Zeff and Eclipse.

Helios padded over to his kit and his kit's kit and prodded them."Lemar,go outside and hunt.I have to talk to Lavodka."The russet tom mewed softly.
Lemar nodded and padded off,his blue-gray fur glowing in the outside light. His father and Helios always seemed to do everything without him.He padded out of the small turned over monster that used to swim and decided to hunt sea gulls.
Lavodka blinked up at his russet father while his long fur hung over him like a willow tree.Hard to imagine their family, they went from russet,to brown,to blue-gray.And then he looked up into his father's eyes. That was the one thing they had in common appearance wise:Icey, piercing, blue."What is it now?Run out of trees to chew on?"He smirked and then got up,only to fly backwards as Helios smacked him upside the head.

Eclipse stared at Bramble in awe, his paws prickling with admiration. He wanted to learn how to fight a shark, and catch a tuna, and swim out in the ocean! Zeff just limited him to the shallows, where the water didn’t go above his chest. It was hard to swim in that. Eclipse watched Bramble curiously as he brought over a dark shell, then revealed some weird meat inside.
“Oh! I’ve seen those things before, Orion used to play games with me with them! He always-“ A grunt from Zeff caught him and he looked down, scuffling his paws. “I could never open them though, and my paws are still too small to get a grip on them.” Eclipse seemed to have lost some of his previous energy, but he still leaned forward enthusiastically to chew off a bit of the funny flesh. It squelched in his mouth, like it was some weird chewy plant or something. Or maybe his teeth were just weak. After a few moment’s tough chewing he finally managed to swallow it. A pink tongue flicked around his muzzle and he pawed at his whiskers. It was salty.
Eclipse gave Bramble a narrow eyed look, suspicious, then tentatively ducked her own head to try the neat. She’d never had this before, and by how it felt in her mouth she’d be happy to stick to fish and gulls. Noticing Zeff’s rather unimpressed look, Eclipse let out a purr of amusement. He turned to Bramble, excitement sparking his gaze.
“Have you ever caught one of those birds with the really, really long wings? The ones that block the sun, and never land?” Yet again his eyes were wide as twin moons. This cat had fought giant fish, and knew how to open the dark shells, was there anything he couldn’t do?

"No," Bramble responded. "I can't fly, and because they don't seem to land on the low part of the beach." He nodded his head towards a distant mound of sand. "That's the high beach. Don't linger there long, there are many dangers over there." He smiled. "My name is Bramble, in case you didn't know."

Eclipse looked a little downcast at Bramble’s reveal the could not, in fact, fly, but as usual it was short lived. He let out a purr as Bramble introduced himself, looking to Zeff who gave a resigned nod.
“I’m Eclipse, and my mother Zeff. Say, could you teach me one day how to fight really big fish? I think I’ve seen you around here before, so you must live somewhere near here, right?” The dark tabby bounced on the spot, as big a grin on his face as a cat can make as he looked at Bramble pleadingly.

"Only of Zeff says so," He responded. "But I almost died. Never fight them, only if they are attacking you or someone else. It's hard. They lunge, and I got a scar." He nodded to the scar on his flank. It was a long trail of teeth marks from his flank to the base of his neck. "It isn't fun," Bramble added. "Very difficult. I didn't kill it, either."
