• When you join please try to keep genders as even as possible. Let's just not have 15 of one gender and 5 of the other, because it does happen and those rps are never as fun.
• You may not use characters from the books Yes we're in the same universe, no we aren't in the same time. With Chiron as the Camp Director then obviously this rule doesn't apply to him or the gods, but as far as Percy or Annabeth or anyone goes that's a big ol' nope.
• Gods and Goddesses can be rped! We aren't doing any sort of minor god, just the major gods. Once they are gone they're gone for good, so if you want one you better claim one fast! This is a biggy with no godmodding/spotlighting/you get the idea - just don't do it. In general just don't hog the spotlight okay? No perfect characters, no one invincible, no hogging the spotlight - just no. If I see it I will dm you as a warning and if it continues you will be removed from the rp, and I really hate being the bad guy.
• powers Characters may have powers they inherited from their godly parent, but don't go overboard. And again don't be that person and godmod the crap out of everything. Feel free to make an arrogant character who thinks they're the strongest, but let them get knocked around a little bit too.
• Big three children and Hunters of Artemis will have a limit. Listed below will be how many are available of each, along with which gods are still available to claim. More children of the big three or hunters may be added later on, but for now what's there is what you've got. Please only make one child of the big three and one god per person. You can have more than one Hunter, but no more than two just to leave some for other people (this includes characters you want to become a hunter later on). Also if you want the Head Counselor spot for a certain cabin just let me know, but if they're a younger camper who earned the title please include how they earned it in their description. Hunters of Artemis can be children of the big 3, but not if all the spots are taken. If you do make a Hunter please make sure you still include their godly parent!

Head Counselor of Aphrodite 16 • Aphrodite • Female • She uses a leather whip imbued with celestial bronze, a viper decorating the handle. There is a charm placed over it to tighten the more the victim struggles once it is coiled around them - like a snake will do to its prey. When not in use the whip is disguised as a gold bracelet in the form of a snake coiled around her wrist; it's name is Nymeria. (if you catch that GoT reference you're cool xD)
Like all children of Aphrodite, Riley is naturally pretty. Unlike her siblings, Riley has a temper and attitude to match her fiery red hair. She's one of the few that doesn't care too much about appearances, much to her mother's dismay. Her skin is pale and freckeld like most redheads, her eyes a light gray-blue color. She doesn't bother with too much make-up like some of the other Aphrodite girls, only using mascara, concealer, and sometimes a bit of blush to give her pale cheeks some color. She's more tomboy-ish than most of her siblings, never caring about the latest fashion trends and often finding herself enjoying the company of guys more than most of the other girls at camp. She wore relatively plain clothing, nothing super fancy or anything that would make her stand out - her red hair took care of that for her. As mentioned before this girl has a bit of a temper. Riley absolutely hates when people say that children of Aphrodite couldn't fight and they were just "pretty faces", and more times than not she has proven to be quite skilled when it comes to battle. She doesn't always get along with her siblings and is usually found anywhere else besides their cabin. She isn't mean in any way, she'd probably cry if someone killed a ladybug in front of her, she just doesn't get along with them or their mother for that matter. She can be a little sarcastic towards them at times, but only if she's really annoyed. Riley is a big softie and has an even bigger heart, if you can get close enough to her to find it. She can sometimes be a bit of a flirt - she's still Aphrodite's daughter after all - but even though most of her friends are guys she's never been in a relationship or been in love. The idea terrifies her quite honestly, more so than spiders. Riley has had a few crushes but she's too much of a whimp to tell them; for her mom being the goddess of love Riley is rather awful when it comes to the subject. Some people think it's odd for a daughter of Aphrodite to have a weapon so heavily based on snakes, but Medusa was a daughter of Aphrodite too so it wasn't really all that strange to her. Riley is one of the few Aphrodite children that has the gift of Charm Speak although she hates using it unless she absolutely has to. She doesn't like the idea of controlling anyone, no matter what the reason for using it may be. { ｏｒｅｏｓღ }Adeline Elizabeth Oliver 17 • Poseidon • Female • Her weapon of choice is a dark, cherrywood bow an arrow. The bow and quiver are both hand painted with golden designs and celestial bronze embelishments. The arrows have celestial bronze tips; there are three different designs: one that is just a basic arrow, one that is poison tipped, and the last arrow - the most elaborate one - can be enchanted with magic. Adeline is built similarly to her sister, although the most muscle she has is on her legs since she loves running more than actually training. Her hair is a light shade of blonde that appears almost silvery-white in some lighting, falling in soft waves down to her lower back. Being twins, Adeline and Lena share their eye color among other things. The stormy ocean-blue color tends to stand out against her fair skin and pale hair. Adeline is the type of person who would much rather stay in the shade of a tree than be in the sun, so her skin is paler than most who live at camp. She wore the bare minimum when it came to make-up, wearing only mascara and a tad bit of concealer every now and then. Adeline is more quiet and timid than her sister, choosing to be by herself rather than go out of her way to talk to others. She doesn't do this to be mean, she really is just shy when it comes to talking to anyone that isn't Lena. Once she warms up to you Adeline can be bubbly and talkative, but it may take a little time. She is fiercely loyal to those she cares about, a trait she shares with her sister. She tends to get frieghtened easily or overly excited at times and her powers get a little out of hand if Lena isn't around to keep her grounded. The Oliver Twins were inseparable as children, always having to keep each other from letting their powers get out of control. Their powers were influential of one another's and more often than not they've lost control - just ask them about the "Aquarium Incident". Adeline spends most of her time alone if she isn't with Lena, usually near the lake or exploring the beach. Being near the water is comforting to her, she feels at home there. Adeline loves art, painting and drawing is her passion. She tends to favor watercolors or oil pastels over any other mediums, although she has a variety set up in one corner of the Poseidon cabin in her mini studio of sorts. She tends to draw more landscapes and nature scenes than anything, switching between the different plants and animals she finds in the woods and ocean life.
Her twin sister is Lena Oliver, aka her best friend and partner in crime.
x • x • x • x • x { ｏｒｅｏｓღ }Sebastian "Bash" Montgomery 19 • Hermes • Male • Sebastian tends to favor long swords, though he wil pretty much use anything that isn't a bow and arrow or throwing knives since he has terrible aim. Bash is rather tall for his age and has one of those faces where you can’t tell what his age is, especially when he shaves, unless he tells you himself and it's something that he takes advantage of at times. His soft, jade green eyes are often watching everything and everyone, clouded over with a barrier no one seems to be able to break. His dark brown, nearly black hair is kept short, although since he is long overdue for a hair cut it tends to fall messily on his forehead. Scars snake their way up his tanned arms, across his chest, and down his back from his many years of being at camp. His big head and stubbornness often causes him to get into trouble whether he means to or not, something he isn't too proud of at times. He's known for rushing into things without even a second glance, especially if it's something completely and utterly insane that will most likely get him killed. He can be quite caring and nice to some but also rather hostile to those he doesn't know or is wary of, although lately usually tends to keep to himself when he's not training, saying only a few short words or nothing at all to the others around camp. Bash has this weird thing about being up high. Ever since he was little it’s where he felt free, like he could do anything, where nothing could touch him if he climbed high enough. Growing up he often escaped the troubles of mortal life by climbing up the highest surface he could find. Around camp he’s only on the ground when he has to be – you know, like walking to the mess hall or arena to train. If you’re ever looking for him make sure you look up because he’ll either be relaxing on a roof – a cabin, the big house, maybe even the stables – or high up in a tree blending into the background, a skill he’s acquired over the years.

Lena Oliver 17 • Poseidon • Female • Two magical knives nicknamed Aries and Aquarius
Lena is a tall, athletically-built young woman with white-blonde hair that falls anywhere from her shoulders to her jawline, depending on how she styles it. Her eyes are a brilliant, stormy ocean-blue, and she always lines them with rich black eyeliner to draw out their color. With pale skin, dotted in freckles, and a knack for fashion, Lena occasionally looks like she belongs in the Aphrodite cabin. But she would never leave her twin sister behind - Adeline is Lena's best friend, her 'person' if you follow Grey's Anatomy's idea of a best friend. Lena is sassy, classy, and badass-y. She has spunk for days, and isn't afraid to fight to get what she needs. She is fiercely loyal when she cares about you, and would, quite literally, walk through hell and back if it kept her friends safe, happy, and healthy. She is impulsive, though, and prone to losing control on her powers in a rage when Adeline isn't around. As kids, Adeline and Lena were inseparable. Their powers were very influential on one another's, and it wasn't uncommon to see them cause an eruption if one of them got out of hand. Just ask them about the "Aquarium Incident".
Lena is bisexual.
Lena loves to sing and dance, and plays multiple instruments. She takes care of a Hellhound that she affectionately refers to as 'Daemon", and spends her free time away from Adeline either practicing battle moves or sitting in the fields with Daemon, singing softly to him. Despite being skinny, Asher is very well built, with a prominent jawline and high cheekbones. His ears are pierced, with simple diamonds decorating them, and he has a lip piercing as well. His eyes are a soft, dark brown that looks almost black when he's angry. He spikes his auburn brown hair up and out of his eyes, though when he's feeling lazy he'll let it fall in messy waves around his head. The sides of his head are shaved in a fade, because a friend of his from the foster system suggested it when he was sick of the long hair he had for most of his life. Asher is a sweetheart, really, but insecurity and fear of losing his sister like he lost his mom has made him snarky, cynical, and unwilling to trust. He's overly protective of his half-sister Elenor, and worries that the revelation of their different parentage will drive her away from him. He's also questioning his sexuality, and is scared that Elenor will hate him if she finds out, despite knowing how close they have always been.
Asher is questioning his sexuality, and is very insecure because of it.
Asher loves to play the piano and sing, but his favorite thing to do is design tattoos for others - he hopes to be a tattoo artist someday, and figure out a way to imbue the tattoos with magic. Because of this, he spends a good amount of time researching Hecate and trying to find a way to perform magic without being like her.

Nivea's father is of Egyptian ancestry, and it shows well in Nivea's appearance. A strong, round jawline, regal cheekbones, full lips, and hooded eyes are the most prominent features on Nivea's face. Her skin is a soft, golden sand color, with darker freckles hidden here and their. Her eyes are a soft golden brown, the opposite of her black-brown hair, which falls in beach waves unless she ties it back in double dutch braids. She often wears lightweight, tight-fitting clothing that's easier to move around in without risking getting caught on something. As a Hunter, Nivea has sworn off love. As a survivor, Nivea holds a high disdain for men, though it masks fear. She tolerates them, but refuses to be touched, and often goes on the defense when a man raises his voice. She works hard to fight her instinct, because she knows she's safe now, but she's only so strong. When she's around the Hunt, though, she's lively, joyful, and always one to make you laugh even on your worst day.
Nivea is homosexual, but has sworn off love as a Hunter of Artemis.
Nivea takes care of three young-adult wolves, all of a similar silver color. She calls them Ghost, Chief, and Lanche (short for Avalanche). Her bow and arrow is spelled to turn into a simple silver necklace, off of which hangs a bow and arrow 'charm' that she pulls off when she needs it. Her bow is called Moana, after her hometown.

Raven is tall, lean, and curvy. She has long, soft brown hair that she often braids back or throws into a messy bun, Her eyes are a deep whiskey brown, with golden flecks around her pupil. Raven has scars across her back, from a run in with a monster in her younger years, which never healed quite right. Despite their rough, ugly nature, Raven adores them, and doesn't let anyone heal them properly. She feels that it shows how strong she is, to have received such awful wounds and still be alive today, almost twelve years later. Raven is fierce, fiery, and flighty. She loves those she cares about with everything she has, but she pushes people away because she doesn't trust anyone not to leave her - even her half-siblings. Raven is a caretaker, but she avoids being taken care of. Get into a fight with her, though, and you'll find yourself on the receiving end of either perfect accuracy or years upon years of martial arts training. Raven's greatest fear is not living up to the expectations she holds for herself, so she's very insecure, and constantly worries about what others think of her.
Raven is bisexual.
Raven loves to sing and draw, and as a daughter of Apollo is gifted with a very melodious voice - over time she realized part of her power can be used through her voice, to calm patients in the infirmary. She is the Head Counselor of Apollo cabin.

Jax Tyler is a jock - even as a preteen he had the build and strength of a linebacker. He works out every day to keep himself toned and in shape - causing taut, lean muscle to have built up under his deeply tanned skin. Jax's jawline is slightly crooked, but he likes to think it makes him cute, rather than hating hit appearance for it. His eyes are a black-brown so dark it almost matches his raven black hair, and he has a near-constant 5 o' clock shadow. Jax dresses like a stereotypical 'badboy', because he thinks it looks cool with his powers of darkness. As an individual, Jax is a flirt, completely and truly. Anything that walks, he'll flirt with. Even a centaur. He's spunky, funny, and an all-around jokester. He almost never takes things seriously, and often comes across as annoying because he seems insensitive, when really humor is how he deals with his feelings. He's secretly very bitter about being unclaimed, especially because he's been at camp for over ten years now, and still has no idea who the hell his mother is.
Jax is pansexual.
Jax's only hobby is flirting - some believe based solely on that that he should be in the Aphrodite cabin, even though he shows powers of darkness rather than emotion.

Vegas is a baby-faced, skinny young boy with scars littering his arms, hips, and shoulders. He has tan-ish skin, dotted by freckles over his nose and cheekbones. His eyes are a soft chocolate brown, and his hair is a deep auburn color, often pushed up and out of his eyes. He tends to wear leather jackets, solid tee shirts, and skinny jeans with combat boots, to make him look a bit older than he is. Vegas is a sweetheart, one of the kindest kids around. He loves to help others, and more often than not can be found tending the fields with the nymphs or hanging out in the infirmary with the younger kids. Vegas is naive, though, and very easily influenced. He'll do anything if he believes it's for the greater good - anything. Vegas came to camp at the age of ten, after a monster attack and killed his father and younger sister. He was chased all the way to camp, and has been afraid of going anywhere near the border ever since - even years later.
Vegas is questioning his sexuality, but comfortable in the outcome.
Vegas is still trying to find his hobbies, as a young boy, but one thing he loves for sure is swimming - back home, he's set to be on the swim team by the time he gets to high school.

Avion "Avis" Rae 15 Years Old • Apollo • Female • Bow and Arrow (Named Polaris) Avion is tall and skinny from having anorexia. She has long dark brown hair and the tips of her hair a dyed bleach blonde. She has icy green blue eyes. She would normally wear glasses but instead at camp she wears contacts. Avion is a very sarcastic female. People make remarks at her and she finds a way to make an even snarkier response back to you, but that's when you hardly ever know her. If you are good friends with her she is one of the most loyal friends you will ever have. She stays to what she knows is right for the world and she loves helping out people in need. She grew up not knowing much about her father until she turned 8 when she was attacked. Her mother sent her to camp Half-Blood and was escorted by a Satyr who was killed later by a Hellhound. Avion has grown up in camp and is a year-round camper. She was claimed and was sent on a quest and now she spends her days mainly hanging around with friends and teaching the kids what to do in archery. She, Her, Them, and they. Avion's mother is named Shimmer Rae. Avion takes a love to being around the archery rang and arts and crafts. She also has a secret hobby of Singing and writing, poetry mainly. Also she has the power to control light. Her best friend is Opi and she is friends with Marco. Since they both have a strong battle strategy with each other. Wildclan Cris Koeli ---- HERMES COUNSELOR 16 Years Old • Hermes • Male • Throwing Knives Cris is a tall skinny boy with shaggy brown hair and green eyes. He stands above the other kids mainly because he’s 16 years old but also because he’s got a strong and muscular build. Cris is one of the nicest people you can be friends with. He is super sweet and kind towards new comers to camp and becomes quick friends with people like that, but at times he can be temperamental as he struggles to respect kids like Avion. He, Him, Them, or They. Cris loves travelling so much and seeing the world. He has a love for camouflaging skills. He doesn't have the worst relationship with his father and understands why he couldn't be around. He hates Avion and Marco more than anything because he feels they don't listen. Wildclan Opherion "Opi" Forne 15 Years Old • Aphrodite • Female • She mainly uses a sword but can use a bow as well. Opi has long silk-like blonde hair. She looks like how you'd picture a child of Aphrodite. She's very charming and pretty but she mainly just hangs around camp with Avion. She has Purpleish hazel eyes from contacts which are normally a very light brown color. She is very self obsessed with herself if you don't know her, but if someone becomes friends with her then they learn she's super helpful and loves to make sure other people feel good about themselves. She, Her, Them, or They Opherion loves to give makeovers and fashion advice to people especially her siblings. She is best friends with Avion and has a crush on Quincent. Wildclan Quincent "Quin" Darre -- ARES COUNSELOR 15 Years old (will turn 16) • Ares • Male • He uses Lances Quin is a very small boy with light blonde short hair. He has dark blue eyes that turn gray partially through the summer. He is not what you'd expect from an Ares child. Instead of choosing to fight a lot he instead chooses to leave fighting up to his other siblings. He mainly keeps to himself and he is pretty shy, but he is loyal and would never betray the trusts of his friend. Him, He, Them, or They. He is very quiet and enjoys drawing and writing. He doesn't have any friends (so sad and so lonely). Wildclan Marcus "Marco" Levirre 16 Years old • Hades • Male • He doesn't really use weapons but if he has to use one he chooses mainly knives.(scary boi >  ) Short skinny boy with ruffled up black hair. He has paleish white skin. He had very dark amber eyes so dark that they are almost red, but now they’ve faded to a grayish blue color. He is very smart and sophisticated and sounds like he always knows what he's talking about.(I imagine him always having a British accent). He knows what to do in fights and has a certain sense for when something bad is going to happen, but he is very shy and reserved to himself and mainly Avion or Opi. Him, He, Them, or They. He is very calm and he can calm down monsters(don't worry he only lerns about this later and it isn't over powered). Him and Avion have a way of fighting that works pretty well using his calming power and her bow skills. He has a crush on Avion. Avion is a very sarcastic female. People make remarks at her and she finds a way to make an even snarkier response back to you, but that's when you hardly ever know her. If you are good friends with her she is one of the most loyal friends you will ever have. She stays to what she knows is right for the world and she loves helping out people in need. She grew up not knowing much about her father until she turned 8 when she was attacked. Her mother sent her to camp Half-Blood and was escorted by a Satyr who was killed later by a Hellhound. Avion has grown up in camp and is a year-round camper. She was claimed and was sent on a quest and now she spends her days mainly hanging around with friends and teaching the kids what to do in archery. She, Her, Them, and they. Avion's mother is named Shimmer Rae. Avion takes a love to being around the archery rang and arts and crafts. She also has a secret hobby of Singing and writing, poetry mainly. Also she has the power to control light. Her best friend is Opi and she is friends with Marco. Since they both have a strong battle strategy with each other. Wildclan Cris Koeli ---- HERMES COUNSELOR 16 Years Old • Hermes • Male • Throwing Knives Cris is a tall skinny boy with shaggy brown hair and green eyes. He stands above the other kids mainly because he’s 16 years old but also because he’s got a strong and muscular build. Cris is one of the nicest people you can be friends with. He is super sweet and kind towards new comers to camp and becomes quick friends with people like that, but at times he can be temperamental as he struggles to respect kids like Avion. He, Him, Them, or They. Cris loves travelling so much and seeing the world. He has a love for camouflaging skills. He doesn't have the worst relationship with his father and understands why he couldn't be around. He hates Avion and Marco more than anything because he feels they don't listen. Wildclan Opherion "Opi" Forne 15 Years Old • Aphrodite • Female • She mainly uses a sword but can use a bow as well. Opi has long silk-like blonde hair. She looks like how you'd picture a child of Aphrodite. She's very charming and pretty but she mainly just hangs around camp with Avion. She has Purpleish hazel eyes from contacts which are normally a very light brown color. She is very self obsessed with herself if you don't know her, but if someone becomes friends with her then they learn she's super helpful and loves to make sure other people feel good about themselves. She, Her, Them, or They Opherion loves to give makeovers and fashion advice to people especially her siblings. She is best friends with Avion and has a crush on Quincent. Wildclan Quincent "Quin" Darre -- ARES COUNSELOR 15 Years old (will turn 16) • Ares • Male • He uses Lances Quin is a very small boy with light blonde short hair. He has dark blue eyes that turn gray partially through the summer. He is not what you'd expect from an Ares child. Instead of choosing to fight a lot he instead chooses to leave fighting up to his other siblings. He mainly keeps to himself and he is pretty shy, but he is loyal and would never betray the trusts of his friend. Him, He, Them, or They. He is very quiet and enjoys drawing and writing. He doesn't have any friends (so sad and so lonely). Wildclan Marcus "Marco" Levirre 16 Years old • Hades • Male • He doesn't really use weapons but if he has to use one he chooses mainly knives.(scary boi > ) Short skinny boy with ruffled up black hair. He has paleish white skin. He had very dark amber eyes so dark that they are almost red, but now they’ve faded to a grayish blue color. He is very smart and sophisticated and sounds like he always knows what he's talking about.(I imagine him always having a British accent). He knows what to do in fights and has a certain sense for when something bad is going to happen, but he is very shy and reserved to himself and mainly Avion or Opi. Him, He, Them, or They. He is very calm and he can calm down monsters(don't worry he only lerns about this later and it isn't over powered). Him and Avion have a way of fighting that works pretty well using his calming power and her bow skills. He has a crush on Avion. Wildclan Bolai "Li" Shucero 13 Years old • Wind Nymph (More specifically a Harpy) • Non-Binary • Bolai is a red-headed person with blueshot eyes. They have a pair of redish tan wings on their back. They are very strict and try to keep everyone on task. Due to this many people don't wanna be their friend. Them, They, Their. She loves to read and learn more about Harpies. None really. Winnie has bright red hair that reaches about the middle of her back. Her eyes are a deep green, like fresh grass, and her skin is almost deathly pale. In essence, she looks like a typical, full-blooded Irish girl. But she’s Welsh, and has enough of an accent that you can tell it too. She’s five four, and endlessly annoyed by being shorter than average. -- Winnie is fiery and feisty, something a bit stereotypical considering her hair. On top of this, it’s hard to get her admit that she’s wrong, but when she does she feels bad about it for weeks. However, if you do something cool, she’s easily impressed, and unlikely to forget it once you’ve impressed her. Winnie is a lesbian, raised by lesbians, so she's not the best at talking to guys, even in a friendly manor. She’s got a witch-y vibe about her, inherited from her mothers. Also, she’s deathly afraid of cats. Oh, the irony. -- Winnie was raised by two mortal women, but her childhood was constantly plagued by 'visions' of monsters and terrible events no one else noticed. When she was fourteen, she was approached by the god Apollo, as the last Oracle was turning twenty-one and was seeking a release from her job. Winnie became the Oracle only a few months later, and gave the prophecy right after the spirit of the Oracle took over her.

Levi has jet black hair, that in public is always neatly parted to the side and the perfect length to look highly respectable. Of course, if caught unprepared, it is a complete mess of a bed head. His eyes are a turquoise blue with a light brown burst around his pupils. Levi is pretty lanky, at exactly six feet, though his shoulders are broader than you’d expect from the rest of his build. -- Levi seems outgoing, though it is mostly an act due to the limelight of his early childhood. When he’s tired however, the act drops and he becomes pretty gruff and rather untalkative. He rarely drops details about his own past, preferring to lead other people to tell him about themselves. His personal preference is more on his studies. They’re less complicated than talking to people, and so far less exhausting for him. He also really likes dogs, and was a bit distressed that he had to leave his two puppies at home when he started attending camp full time. This was like three years ago, but he’s still really upset about it. It’s a touchy subject. Levi is also really upset with Zeus about a number of things, and exclusively refers to him by silly nicknames from the Hercules movie such as Bolt Boy, Zeusy, and the like. Levi is demiromantic, but he'll date just about anyone that he feels close enough to to inspire a romantic attraction. -- Levi is the son of a prominent Indiana politician Alfred Griffin, which meant he spent most of his younger years under massive public scrutiny. He was heavily schooled in the art of conversation and lying because his family had a massive secret. Levi is not the son of Alfred Griffin. He’s the son of Zeus, conceived during his mother’s affair with the king of the gods. The facts of his mother’s affair had to be hidden to keep the family’s name clean so that Alfred didn’t lose his standing. So everyone outside of the family assumes that Levi fits neatly between his older brother Elliot and his younger sister Lillian as the couple’s second child. Of course, monster attacks are hard to cover up, and Levi began visiting Camp Half-Blood in the summers by the time he was eleven, officially becoming a full time camper at 14.

Allie sports a dirty blond, old fashioned pixie cut and the piercing grey eyes of her mother. She's average height, exactly 5’5” (when she’s done growing, her current height is still a tiny bit below that.), and a bit too thin to seem healthy, even though that’s just how she is. She has a sweet, soft face, though her nose is a little too big for the rest of her features. She has two long, horizontal scars across her shoulder blades from her first monster attack, and several small scars all over from the years of monster attacks before she started training. These small scars include one line just above her right elbow on the inside, suspiciously wider in the middle. -- Allie is a hardened kid, sometimes. Years of living out of an old suitcase and a ratty backpack will do that to a person, especially when there’s additional trauma they’ve never had professionally dealt with. She’s naturally a little shy, never starting a conversation. Of course, she’s always felt really alone too, so she will talk if you take an interest in her. Allie relies pretty heavily on vicious sarcasm to hide the insecurities such a rough life has caused, but when you do break through, she’s more of a jokester and a class clown. And if you talk about something she likes, she goes fully playful puppy on you at a moment’s notice. This happens a lot if you haven’t upset her, since she really does enjoy most of what’s going on at camp. However, her walls can snap back up at a moment’s notice too, just as soon as her insecurities rise back up to the surface. Allie is bisexual, and she acknowledges it, but she's currently really too young to be looking for a relationship. -- Allie’s father, Daniel, was an English teacher in a small, southern town when he met Athena. Of course, Allie was a surprise, just like every child of Athena, carried down on the wind as a gift to her mortal parent. Daniel did take her in, and did his best to be a good single parent. However, tragedy struck when Allie was seven. A monster attack resulted in her father’s death, leaving her a ward of the state. Scarred by watching her own father die and terrified of monsters coming back for her, she bounced around foster homes for four years, always getting sent on whenever something even remotely strange happened. Finally, at eleven, Allie was discovered by a satyr and delivered to camp, where she’s lived as a year-round camper for one year.

Elenor has soft blond hair that reaches just a few inches past her shoulders. It’s mostly unstyled, since she’s never really had anyone to do anything with it, and she’s always preferred to hide behind it anyways. Her eyes a pale blue, a little dull like she's always tired. Elenor is also very thin looking, almost frail, as she was injured pretty badly by monsters when she was younger, and it has made her a rather frail girl. -- Elenor is extremely shy, not one to speak out much. However, when you get to be her friend she's rather sweet and thoughtful. She is also difficult to anger, unless you're threatening her brother, and then she's quick to snap. Elenor loves the arts and crafts cabin, and can often be found quietly working on the pottery wheel or rolling clay on one of the tables. Elenor is pansexual, but she isn't open about it, because she's scared that she won't be accepted. -- Elenor spent the first eight years of her life living happily enough with her mother and her older brother. Then, there was a horrible monster attack that landed her in the hospital and saw the death of their mother. After she recovered, Elenor and Asher spent several years in the foster care system, always fighting to stay together. Then, less than a year ago, the two were discovered by a saytr and brought to camp. Her brother through their mortal mother is Asher James. They have different godly fathers.

Vance William Poe --- Head counselor of the Dionysus cabin *tw - his backstory and character contains references to suicidal thoughts and self harm. If this isn’t acceptable or makes anyone uncomfortable I’m more than willing to remove it* 19 • Dionysus • Male • A pair of celestial bronze daggers. Poison secretes from the hilt and down the blade. Vance is fairly pale, but not incredibly. His cheeks and eyes are gaunt, and he looks tired at all times (which he is.) His limp mop of hair is a brownish-blonde, and no one can decide which it is. While not excessively tall, Vance stands at 5'10, but his extremely thin frame makes him appear lankier than he really is. He has long legs, compared to his rather short torso. His eyes are a depressing bluish-gray, as if all the color was drained out of him. He has numerous larger scars on his face and arms, but several suspicious, thin white scars litter his wrists. Vance is typically found in a Camp Half-Blood shirt, ripped jeans, and beaten up old checkerboard Vans.
The son of Dionysus is about as tired as he looks. His medication makes him sluggish, and he's constantly dealing with both corporeal and mental monsters. He can often be found around camp, sleeping in the strangest positions. Often, he has to be hauled away by another camper. He wouldn't be the head of the Dionysus cabin if it weren't for his pure seniority. Vance is quick to snap at people, especially those younger than him. He's almost impossible to get along with, and people have tried. One thing Vance is especially sick of is the constant babying by Chiron and other campers. He's often disappeared for nights at a time, much to the distress of everyone, to get away from camp. Vance, despite all this, is fairly laid back. If you can get back his prickly attitude, usually the Dionysus campers love having him as their head counselor. Cabin inspections don't happen unless Vance is forced to do them, and even then they're fairly lackluster. Campers are essentially allowed to do whatever they please under Vance. He'll just watch and very, very occasionally laugh.
Vance was born to mortal mother Raleigh Poe and Dionysus. His mother worshiped Mycenaean Dionysus before bearing his child. Thus, Vance’s young mother was definitely not in the right state to raise a child. Growing up, Vance often suffered the backlash of his mother’s own issues. She was both physically and verbally to Vance, and her numerous boyfriends weren't sweethearts, either. Vance's issues were obvious to outsiders growing up, but his mother refused to acknowledge them. Unbeknownst to either of them. Vance suffered from manic depression and paranoid schizophrenia. Both these diseases, left untreated, pushed him to begin to self harm at age 12 and attempt suicide at age 14. After being hospitalized and put into therapy, Vance's issues at home were discovered, and he was placed under the care of the state. Vance thought he was suffering from a hallucination when a many headed dragon came to slay him. Vance ran as far as his legs could carry him, but they could never carry him far enough. He was found by an older forest Nymph, Mallow. She brought him to camp, and the Hydra was stopped at the gate. Since then he's lived at the camp full-time, and is on his fourth year.
Vance has a very poor relationship with his mother, but he doesn't know what she's doing or where he is. He's also one of the very, very few who gets to interact with his godly parent on a daily basis. Understandably, he does not like Dionysus. x • x { Monkorpio }
Elias Lukas Kjellberg 16 • Demeter • Male • An every-growing, every dying crown made of thorns. Roses grow along it. The crown bolsters Elias' connection to plants, which he usually uses to fight. Elias is a fairly stocky kid. He's short for his age, standing at 5'5. Elias is about average size, but he gets a lot of exercise, so any attempt to hit him is to no avail. He has curly salt-and-pepper hair, and it appears as if it hasn't been combed ever. He's very pale, but he has sun-kissed cheeks, with a few light freckles appearing along the sides of his nose. His wide, thickly-lashed eyes are a bright, clear blue. Elias isn't particularly notable in any way appearance wise, except for maybe his thorny crown. He usually is found in his Camp Half-Blood shirt, which is for whatever reason missing the sleeves, a pair of basketball shorts, and some kind of beat up old sneakers that have worn out their brand. They light up if he stomps them hard enough, so most assume they were probably sketchers.
Elias is a cheerful person, but he's quick to get impatient and lose his temper. It isn't uncommon to hear Swedish curses resounding from his cabin, as Elias drops something or his favorite wrestler loses a match on the TV he manages to smuggle. If anything, Elias shares more kinship with the Hephaestus kids than his own cabin. Elias can constantly be found in there, helping them with any tinkering they're doing. In fact, half of the cabin is now fluent in Swedish curses. Aside from his bad swearing habit, Elias is willing to help people with anything. Anyone can ask Elias a favor and he'd be more than happy to help. He's been described as a big, stupid dog by his half-siblings. Although his passion should be, like, gardening or something, Elias is a wrestling fanatic. He always manages to watch it on a TV he bought off Io, much to the disdain of his siblings. He wrestled in school in Sweden, and has brought his passion over to the states. His fighting style mostly consists of plants and dropping elbows, and Elias has been told many times to get off of any high surfaces lest he hurt himself or someone else trying to do whatever cool move he's trying to do. Elias is as laid-back and disorderly as they come, and his living space is always a mess of snacks and sweatshirts. This often causes a lot of frustration during cabin inspections. Elias is willing to go along with any plan - the more dangerous and more stupid the better.
Elias was born and raised in Sweden by his father, Lukas Kjellberg. Elias had a happy childhood for a demigod - his father got married to a woman named Agnes and they had a little boy for Elias to teach all his bad habits to. Elias played on essentially every sport in school, but he was always a die-hard wrestling fan. However, one Spring day, Elias' life fell apart. His father up and decided they'd be moving to the states, even though he was the only one who knew any English. Although Elias had no idea why they moved so suddenly, he never questioned his father, and he dealt with it. A few months later, there was a crash in the house while everyone was asleep, except for Elias. He went downstairs, fully prepared to deal with an intruder, only to find a hideous creature with it's face on its torso. An anthropophage. Although Elias could not see clearly at the time, and that might have been what saved his mind, it had been devouring Agnes before Elias came downstairs. His scream shocked his father awake, and he escaped with his father and his baby brother into the night. A gang of the cannibals had been pursuing the Kjellbergs, and more specifically Elias, since Sweden. Elias' father drove him to Long Island, and Elias ran for the camp as fast as he could. He stopped just inside the gate, only to see a gang of the hideous creatures prowling just on the outside. Elias never knew why the cannibals pursued him, but they left his father and brother alone once he arrived at the camp. It was through mutual understanding with his father that Elias decided to stay at camp year-round, in the hopes that this would keep them all safe.
Elias has a father and a little brother in the suburbs of New York, who he often writes to. Other than that, he's the big gay. { Monkorpio }
Io Aimi Sane 14 • Hermes • Female • A quarterstaff which can be used as either a pole for tightrope walking or shrunk to a hairpin. Io is short, with pin-straight black hair. Her hair is usually tied back in a high ponytail so it is out of her face. She has a round, soft face and no visible cheekbones. Her skin is remarkably unblemished for a 14 year old. She is incredibly short, standing at only 4'10. However, as a gymnast, this often works in Io's favor. Io appears very soft, with no hard edges in sight. Her eyes are such a deep brown, they are nearly black. She usually wears her Camp Half-Blood shirt, leggings, and no shoes.
Io is someone who is always looking on the bright side of life. In her eyes, everything is her next biggest adventure. Io walks around with a bounce to her step, always doing cartwheels and flips around the camp. Nothing and no one can wipe the smile of her face, not even Mr. D. She's always found in a group with at least a couple of her siblings, engaging in some kind of destructive behavior. They say near the sight of any Hermes-caused disaster you can hear Io's laugh in the background. Io never stops moving. Even while having a conversation, she's dancing around, doing loops around whoever she's talking to and making them so dizzy they nearly throw up. Io is constantly throwing herself into danger without first thinking, and a lot of the time it involves walking over something dangerous on a rope that keeps getting thinner and thinner. No camp counselor has every been able to keep a proper eye on her, you could've seen her just a second ago and she's already across camp.
Io grew up in a house with her father, her aunt and uncle, her two cousins, and her grandparents. She and her cousins were always competing for the spotlight, trying to be noticed by the adults. The house she lived in was like a constant whirlwind, which probably inspires her personality to this day. Io grew up believing she was adopted - how had her father had her without a mother in sight? It wasn't until Io was out on vacation with her family that she got an explanation. They were in southern New Hampshire when a taloned woman grabbed Io from the beach, carrying her off with the wind. Io wailed and hit the woman, but soon she was joined by a flock, being tossed and thrown. She hardly remembers the flight now, but she knows she passed out and woke up in the ocean. She swam towards the nearest island, which happened to be Long Island. She was found by a group of campers, and when she told her story, she was brought into the camp. She lives year-round at camp, unable to remember anything before being picked up by those cursed harpies.

Simon Levinsky
16 • Hades • Male • He has a simple, small, and light sword that transforms into a swiss army knife.
Simon is going to be a tall kid one day, he's already five foot six (almost seven) and still slowly growing. He's thin but well built, having a lot of muscle from the training in camp half blood, and has pretty pale skin. Really the only color on his face are his dark blue eyes and the slightest smattering of freckles over his nose and cheeks that appeared after spending so much time outside at camp half blood. He is missing his left leg, he'd gotten sick as a small child with cancer and had to have it amputated, but working with the hephestius cabin he was able to get a fully functioning prosthetic that can help him fight in a battle with little problems. It had taken him years to get used to it but now he can walk with only a small limp and with the help of his own god parent related powers he can do decently in battle. He relies on creating weapons from the shadows and in general using darkness to help himself. Simon is pretty quiet and has an aversion to large crowds. He's incredibly anxious when it comes to being around a lot of people and it took a good year before he could sit in the cafeteria to eat with everyone else. He'd wait till people started to filter out before he went to grab a small bite to eat. Now he's better with the other kids... for the most part. He will actually talk to people if talked to now and if he gets to know someone he's totally fine. He's incredibly loyal to those he's made a connection to and can actually be pretty sarcastic when he's comfortable around people. He can get kind of sulky at times and just isn't really a people person but once he gets to know someone he gets pretty attached. Is most likely closest to the two other kids in the Hades cabin. He has been in Camp Half blood since he was eleven and was absolutely terrified because he could see ghosts and couldn't tell thats what they were. He'd run away from his home because his mother thought that he was going crazy when he'd point out the ghosts and complained about how they wouldn't shut up. He hated how others treated him like they were walking on eggshells and how his brother used to bully him so he ran away. He hasn't been back to his mothers home since even when he had a short quest in the area. ('m not sure if the children of Hades can see spirits or not, f not, then I'll change his backstory!) He's definitely gay.

description: Eris is pale, thin, and not very tall, standing at a mere 5'3. She has very dark brown hair, almost black hair, and seemingly olive colored eyes, the trademark of her Italian heritage. Her mother was an Italian immigrant who came to America not long after Eris was born. She is not always the friendliest person around, often coming off as very matter of fact and blunt. She doesn't ever pull punches- both literally and metaphorically. She is often willing to fight before fleeing and trouble tends to come her way easily. She wanted nothing more than a connection with her father, even more so after discovering who he was. She soon became apathetic to the world and everyone in it, stumbling across Camp Halfblood by near chance one day, although she's pretty sure she was receiving some sort of guidance. She's by no means a bad person once you get to no her and she is one of the most loyal people on the planet. She is usually dressed in some ratty black t shirt with a leather jacket she got from her mother, and purple jeans with combat boots. Eris is capable of shadow travel, even though it can take a serious toll on her when she travels too much, and has the ability to raise the dead to fight for her cause when in a pinch. She's never tried opening a hole in the earth mostly out of fear of falling in herself and she's also never had the need

Seth Steamhoole 16 • Hephaestus • Male • A silver sword with a black and orange hilt and and a unique looking ax. Seth has short, dark brown hair that is spiky near the ends. He has bright, brown eyes and somewhat brownish tan skin. His arms and shoulders are rather muscular from working in the forge all day. He is on the short side standing at only 5'7. Seth enjoys wearing warm colors such as orange, red, brown and black. -- Seth is a creative and hard working guy. He enjoys working with his hands and creating unique and epic weapons, armor, machinery ect. Once he sets his mind on something, there is no breaking him out of it. Seth dislikes leaving projects unfinished and will constantly think about it. If you need something made or fixed, Seth is your guy. One of his biggest flaws is that he is a pushover and a little cowardly when it comes to peer pressure and bullies. If anyone raises their voice or threatens him, Seth will cower and do whatever they want. Seth wants to change that side of him but doesn't know how. As a child, Seth was always building, taking apart and repairing things. His mother and step father bought him legos, building blocks and other items to sate his curiosity. At around the age is thirteen, his true father claimed him and a satyr came around to take him to camp. Seth was hesitant, but his mother said it would be for his own good. She is quite independent and likes to mess around from time to time. Lani has a knack for getting into trouble but has ways to get herself out of trouble. She is quick on her feet and can be quite cunning. Lani is a fighter and will take on anyone or anything. She doesn't mind fighting dirty and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Lani is pretty creative but keeps that to herself. She is flirty but gets pretty flustered around pretty women. Likes to think nothing can bother her. Lani was born and raised in San Francisco. They recived a message to find Camp Half Blood and sought out together to find it. At first, she thought this was just nonsense until the monsters started attacking them. Lani tries to train and drool over the other pretty ladies at camp. She can be seen hanging out with Asher from time to time. Luke has sandy blonde hair that he usually combs to the side, keeps spiky or gelled back. He has baby blue eyes and a oval shaped face. He has fair white skin and a somewhat skinny looking build. Luke stands at around 5'10 and a half and wears a golden watch. If he's not in his camp uniform, Luke will be seen wearing expensive or brand name clothing. He loves to look fashionable. -- Luke is a outgoing and fun loving guy. He is the life of the party and knows how to get the crowd going. He is a bit of a drama king but will deny it. Luke likes to be in the spotlight and is quite the social butterfly. He likes to preform little tricks with his powers and show off his stuff. He does come off as a arrogant and obnoxious prick in certain situations. Luke is used to living in luxury and doesn't understand what normal people go through or know how to do. He seeks praise and validation in his friends and doesn't want to tossed to the side. Luke is afraid of ending up alone and being forgotten. He is currently confused by his sexuality and doesn't know how to process it. Luke was born and raised in New York. His family were pretty much rich and he enjoyed their large wealth. Luke and his father never did see eye to eye. One reason is his father favored his older brother. Wasn't until much later, Luke learned of his true father and realized his father disliked him because his mother had an affair. Needless to say, Luke was more than happy to leave his family and go to Camp Half Blood. Luke has a strange addiction to soda and he has no idea why. Axel Singer
19 • Athena • Male • Several Celestial throwing knives, Chakra blades, but his favorite weapon is his light mace and short sword. He carries them all in his jacket.-- Axel is tall and muscular, with lightly tanned skin. His hair is honey brown, short on both sides and naturally curly on the top and his eyes are hazel. Axel is normally dressed very casual. He doesn't wear his Camp Half Blood shirt for personal reasons. Instead he generally wears a pair of darker colored joggers, zip up hoodies, and running shoes. Axel isn't a big talker simply because he doesn't want to. He is a very negative person and has a sarcastic remark for everything. If you can somehow manage to get him in a good mood, he is a very spontaneous and flirtatious person, the sarcasm never really goes away though. He enjoys swimming and strategy games. He likes to read mystery novels and climbing trees. He is a very active person and works out regularly on his own. Axel lived with his family in Virginia until the age of 12 when his father and mother explained what he really was. They drove him to Camp Half Blood and continue to bring him back every year. Despite the relief of finding why all the unfortunate things happened to him, Axel refuses to acknowledge the reality of the situation. Finding out he was a demigod also meant he found out his father cheated on his mother, which infuriated him. He doesn't enjoy being at Camp Half Blood and tends to be very detached with everyone and everything happening there. He also refuses to use several of his powers and tries to ignore the whole situation.

18 • Demeter • Female • A wrist watch that turns into twin Celestial Chakram blades with jagged edges-- Delilah is a thin, brown haired girl with natural blonde highlights. She has a lean, pale frame with pale green eyes and freckles sprinkled across her face. Her hair is often pulled back into a ponytail with layered bangs hanging down to her cheekbones and framing both sides of her face. Delilah often wears high waisted black skinny jeans with small rips at the thighs, her camp half blood shirt, a grey loose sleeveless jacket, and a pair of regular black and white high top converse. Delilah is strong willed, but friendly girl. She doesn't like to be rude, but will be harsh if she is pushed far enough. She understands people well and reads emotions pretty easily. She is very persuasive and likes to stay on peoples good side. Delilah is really an average girl. She likes long walks in the woods and on the beach. She likes to read and enjoys listening to Irish and Celtic music. Star gazing and even just looking at the bright day sky is a regular activity for her. She likes to stay in shape and goes on daily runs every morning before breakfast. She likes romantic comedies, poems, and the fresh smell after the rain. Delilah is a carefree girl who tries not to let people get under her skin and likes to have fun and smile. Delilah was an orphan before coming to Camp Half Blood. She started noticing the odd and unfortunate things happening in her life and after several weeks of research, she staged an escape and came to Camp Half Blood.

ASher James
15 • Hephaestus • Male • Sword made of half Stygian Iron and half Celestial Bronze
Despite being skinny, Asher is very well built, with a prominent jawline and high cheekbones. His ears are pierced, with simple diamonds decorating them, and he has a lip piercing as well. His eyes are a soft, dark brown that looks almost black when he's angry. He spikes his auburn brown hair up and out of his eyes, though when he's feeling lazy he'll let it fall in messy waves around his head. The sides of his head are shaved in a fade, because a friend of his from the foster system suggested it when he was sick of the long hair he had for most of his life. Asher is a sweetheart, really, but insecurity and fear of losing his sister like he lost his mom has made him snarky, cynical, and unwilling to trust. He's overly protective of his half-sister Elenor, and worries that the revelation of their different parentage will drive her away from him. He's also questioning his sexuality, and is scared that Elenor will hate him if she finds out, despite knowing how close they have always been.
Asher is questioning his sexuality, and is very insecure because of it.
Asher loves to play the piano and sing, but his favorite thing to do is design tattoos for others - he hopes to be a tattoo artist someday, and figure out a way to imbue the tattoos with magic. Because of this, he spends a good amount of time researching Hecate and trying to find a way to perform magic without being like her.

okay I know I originally said I wouldn't have my characters up until tomorrow evening but I can't sleep so here Hosa Lavi
17 • Demeter • Male • A sturdy, wooden handled scythe which can recede into a simple walking stick or staff.
Dark, messy hair falls over his eyes and the tops of his ears, too long to style properly but not long enough to tie back. His skin is a lightly tanned, slightly honey coloured shade, due to his roots. His skin would be perfectly smooth if it weren't for his back and shoulders, covered in scars, and another jagged scar cutting from his cheekbone, across his left eye and onto his forehead. A single darker spot sits on the right side of his chin, on the edge of his jaw, similar to a beauty spot. He has a very slim, lithe build, and only stands at 5'3, but rather than making him fragile, it makes him smooth and graceful,. His eyes are a dark blue, almost black with white flecks, similar to a starry night sky, and the left one is milky white and completely blind, due to the scar. He’s incredibly insecure about this, so he usually lets his fringe fall over his eyes whenever he’s talking to people. His usual attire is that of a thin brown leather vest over a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a pair of dark grey jeans and sturdy but slim leather boots, all of which he tries to keep clean. Despite often having a rather dark expression, Hosa has a very sweet, caring personality, although he can be rather defensive at times. He is very peaceful, and prefers to avoid conflict, and is very skilled in remaining calm and refraining from telling people when he’s sick of their bs. He can be very quiet and shy, especially around people he hasn't met before, which also leads to him being embarrassed easily, although most people find it rather cute. His calm, sweet nature makes him very easy to trust, and his presence seems to have a relaxing effect on people. His small build makes him reasonably easy to overpower, so he tries to avoid getting into fights, physical or verbal. Though he is quiet, he’s often very cynical, but generally keeps his opinion to himself. He never met his real parents, and switched from foster home to foster home as the parents turned out to be abusive or neglecting each time. The scars on his back were caused by his foster father (the one before he ran away and took up permanent residence in the camp), who was good a hiding the fact he was both. He is very sensitive about his scars, and will shut down the conversation at any mention of them.
He’s incredibly gay but so far he’s kept that fact hidden for fear of being ostracized.

Ariel Madoka 'Mads' Himura18 • Aphrodite • Male • Sakurasou & Cosmos- Celestial Bronze Kusarigama; two separate sets of ever-lengthening chains and serrated sickles ending in hollow 7' arrow-shaped blades. Both are engraved with the flowers that gave them their names and the handles often stream colorful ribbons that serve to make his combat style particularly showy. And yet somewhat contrary to this- The handles are made in a way that allows them to form knuckle dusters when he crosses the blades, hinting at his brawler background. When not in use, his weapons appear to be simple chains that are wrapped around his waist or arms- They're activated by his swinging them. Madoka isn't particularly tall at 5'6 and possesses a lithe build, slender shoulders, and clear honeyed complexion. It's to his dismay that he also possesses ageless 'Pretty Boy' features- He doesn't have a problem with the androgyny itself, but he dislikes the underestimation that can result from not being at least passably good-looking. He has an angular jaw, full cupid's bow lips, heart-shaped face, and cat-like 'Elizabeth Taylor' blue-violet eyes that are often emphasized with kohl. Freckles dust his nose and cheeks when he's spent long enough in the sun. Though any scars he may have received are hidden by his clothing, one inch long crescent curves from the left corner of his bottom lip. His arched brows are hidden by bangs that only just remain clear of his eyes, usually kept out of his face with cherry blossom pins. Madoka's glossy deep red-velvet hair falls past his shoulders and never fails to be at least somewhat uneven, falling longer on the left than the right when framing his face- He cuts it himself. Though he likes to play with it, he occasionally leaves his hair in a high ponytail for simplicity's sake and ties it with a singed magenta ribbon. His left arm is inked with tsubaki, red camellias, and peony blooming on barbed wire starting at the back of his hand and twining toward his shoulder. Much smaller and more understated, a rising sun emerges from the underside of his right wrist. His ears are also quadruple pierced, with staples being a gold dragon climber earring in his right and a pink rose climber in his left. Though he's wary of anything that can be used against him in a fight, Madoka likes accessorizing- most commonly with rings, chokers, and bracelets. Madoka's lips can usually be seen set in a noncommittal line, but his eyes are so expressive that the effort he puts into appearing unaffected is often wasted. On the surprisingly frequent occasions when Mads smiles, it's revealed that his features can be surprisingly feline, and his lips tend to form a naturally smug '3'. (Basically he smiles like Knife Cat) Madoka doesn't seem intimidating in the least- appearance wise, in any case. Upon first interacting with him, one might gain the impression that he is cool and levelheaded, if a little violent. In reality, only the 'violent' part is true. Mads claims to be a reformed delinquent/rebel but old habits die hard and he has no idea what he's doing at any given time, let alone how to turn off his fight-or-fight-harder instincts. While he generally is cool and confident, with a straightforward no-holds-barred approach to everything and keen eye for trouble- Madoka is easily flustered and quick to lose his temper. Though he can usually manage a level head and dispassionate expression, Mads is actually an incredibly emotional person and struggles to keep it from showing. He isn't always successful, and can be read like an open book if caught off guard. Mads solves most if not all of his problems with violence and is so skilled at it that he isn't initially inclined to trying other methods. He's also vain and somewhat obsessed with his appearance; Madoka sees beauty as both a blessing and a curse, but not one he intends to waste. It isn't uncommon to find him fussing over his hair and clothing immediately after a fight. Though he can be impulsive and reckless, Mads displays leadership qualities when the situation calls for it, and is occasionally revealed to be rather compassionate. This bleeds into his sense of justice and fairness, though they tend to manifest negatively as a thirst for revenge. As stoic and reserved as he likes to appear, Mads is still prone to humming ballet soundtracks when happy. Madoka is a former delinquent and 'gang boss', though he was only the leader of a local gang of misfit teens. His life was comprised mainly of aimless violence and reckless stunts until a particularly harrowing encounter with a monster gave him an actual goal- the near death of his lackeys/friends spurred him into an active desire to truly fight back, and he took to Camp Half Blood with an enthusiasm largely borne of his need for revenge. As a foster kid without a home, Madoka stays year-round and devotes a surprising portion of his time to helping out with the general running of the camp in any capacity he can find out of a sense of gratitude that he is too contrary to otherwise express. As a child, Madoka took gymnastics and modern dance classes until he was bullied into quitting. They serve him well even now, however, as his agility and grace has saved his life countless times. That and dumb luck. His combat skills can only ever be relied on in a life-or-death situation. Repeatedly smacking himself in the face with his own chains doesn't prevent him from trash talking other campers during practice matches, however. Mads is very fond of flowers and so tends to be softer toward Demeter's kids; he often frequents the most floral parts of Camp. While there are still a few 'bad habits' that hint at his less than stellar past, Madoka does have a way about him that ties him to his mother. Like Opherion, he also has a proclivity toward fashion.
