Elias felt an immeasurable amount of joy now that it was free period. There were so many things to do, so many opportunities to grasp in that short period of time. The boy had planned on watching wrestling, but there was none on tonight and that meant he needed to find something to do. He’d already popped his head into the Hephaestus cabin, but none of them had needed his help, which was disappointing. The arts and crafts cabin sat seemingly abandoned, and Elias would’ve rather died than done arts and crafts. Now there were a few options open for Elias. He could go do something productive, perhaps help with the strawberry farm, or he could hang out with the nymphs, or maybe even play volleyball, despite his height. But there was one thing Elias longed to do - discover the conspiracy behind the Hades cabin. He had thoroughly convinced himself that there was something to be uncovered there, that there was something wrong with that cabin. Elias was sure none of the campers were inside. Why would they be? Even the children of Hades needed to get out. Elias looked around in a rather suspicious manner. He approached the cabin, and when he was sure no one was around, slowly opened the door and stepped inside. It had been a long day and honestly Simon was still shocked his sibling had managed to drag him out of the cabin this morning. It wasn’t that he never left, most days he willingly came out to at least eat and go to the strawberry fields, or contributed in some activities. He usually went to the Hephaestus cabin so he could take a look at their new weapons, but today all he had wanted to do was sleep all day. So he skillfully slipped away from his siblings during the free hour and retreated back into the cabin. Simon knew most people thought the dark cabin was creepy- he could relate. He’d burst into tears when he saw that the beds that looked like coffins. However, his older half sibling had quickly shown how comfy it was (that didn’t stop Simon from his now five year crucade of trying to change the looks of the bed), and Simon found that there was something comforting about the dark room. It was nice and quiet, not to mention he had room to build himself a small bookcase, and then build a tiny library filled with books he liked. He was currently rereading a favorite book- it was one of those sappy slice of life books. He used to love adventure books, but after the monsters started going after him, those had started to lose its luster. He turned a little at the sound of an opening door, groaning, because his sibling must have noticed his retreated. The dark haired demigod rolled onto his stomach, glancing over at the door, reaching over to take off his prosthetic just so he could make a point of not leaving: it would take too much effort to actually put it back on. “You can’t make me leave,” he called out wryly, taking off the prosthetic with a pop, anstubborn look in his eye. (Low key it might be funny if he doesn’t know Simon has a prosthetic and freaks? Like Simon usually wears jeans so it might not be common knowledge he’s missing a leg outside of the Hephaestus cabin.)

Elenor smiled slightly as he asked about the mound of clay. Even if she was a bit scared of him, she loved talking about her work. "Well, I'm gonna throw something. I'm not sure what yet, I like to get it spinning and then just see what happens. You end up with a lot of weird shapes that way, but it's not necessarily bad," Elenor answered, shifting the clay she'd gather to the wheel, sticking it properly to the center so she didn't have an problems later.
Levi nodded, still trying to catch his breath, then turned to the new kid they'd just fought to save. "What kind of stunt was that, running back to the monster without any weapons? If I hadn't had an archer as back up you could be dead." He sounded less annoyed and more concerned, like a proper counselor for once. Normally, he'd probably have yelled at the kid, but he was trying to put the camp's best foot forward. Chiron would have his head if he didn't.

Vance leaned on his elbow, resting his chin on his hand. "That's a fancy way of saying you don't know." Jokes were hard to muster from Vance, so even this little remark was a step in the right direction. Vance picked up a piece of clay and made an animalistic noise deep in his throat when it stuck to his fingers. "For all the times I've supervised in this place, I've never used this stuff. It hasn't impressed me so far."
(Elias going into complete shock over Simon removing his leg is an absolutely fantastic idea. Also sorry if any of Elias' Swedish is wrong I use translate oops) At first, Elias believed he was in the clear. There were no voices, no tell-tale sound of life that usually emitted from the other cabins. Elias let himself smile in relief, however, like most people, he had celebrated too soon. When Simon spoke, Elias nearly jumped out of his skin. His blood turned as cold as ice, freezing in his veins. Yet as his blood froze, his heart thumped ever-faster, and Elias thought that whoever was in here could hear it pounding in his chest. In the dark doorway, Elias could only see the form of Simon.
At first, Elias was tempted to just walk out, but that was before he heard a sickening pop. All Elias saw was Simon literally remove his leg. Elias felt his stomach churn as he saw the camper holding his limb in complete nonchalance. And although Elias tried to hold his silence, he couldn't stop himself from emitting a string of curses. "Vad ar det i helvete!" The Swedish swears went flying from his mouth without a second thought, and if there was any chance of escaping undiscovered, it was gone now.

(I'll post a starter for both of my characters that you can reply to ) Axel lounged casually in a tall pine tree by the Canoe Lake, an aged Sherlock Holmes paperback book held lovingly in his hands. He'd read this specific book dozens of times, and could probably recited every word. It was clearly his favorite of the series. His grey hood was slung lazily over his head and his curly brown hair stuck out of the front messily. Axel hadn't been very interested in camp activities, in fact today he was feel especially antisocial. Releasing a long sigh, he tilted his head up and leaned it against the tree trunk, staring that the seemingly never ending mess of branches above him. It was going to be a very long day for him. Delilah slowed her run to an easy jog as she reached the strawberry fields. Glancing down at her watch, she grinned, new best time. The pale girl was clearly flushed and breathing heavily as she gradually slowed her jog into a walk. She'd pushed a lot harder this run then previous ones, as show by the blinking numbers on her watch. But it was all worth it. Rubbing her sweaty hands on her running shorts, she turned and headed back toward the cabins, she definitely needed a change of clothes, maybe a shower if she had the time.

Elenor frowned again, though this time she was focused more on getting the wheel spinning, so it was that noticeable. "I like it for a lot of reasons. The stains are a bit annoying sometimes, I guess, but you learn to love them. And it's just so nice to make something pretty, or something you can use," Elenor was smiling again as she spoke, her voice fading off till it was barely more than a whisper, though there was obviously a lot of love in it. She then focused on the lump of clay spinning on the wheel in front of her, slowly working it out without any really idea in mind yet.
"I'm a son of Zeus," Levi said, frowning at the kid before him. "No one here is going to prosecute who for whoever your father is, the entire point of camp is that everyone else gets it too," Levi added, tempted to reach out and rest a hand on the boy's shoulder. Of course, he'd seen enough scared campers attack at the slightest unwanted touch, so he restrained himself, instead glancing towards the main body of camp as if looking for backup to arrive and help him through this introduction. He really wasn't the best person to be greeting this kid, but he was trying.

haha I could see that irritating Eris but growing attached to that )) Eris found herself wandering further from the tight, close, cuddly, gross feeling of the inner camp. She headed for the woods, figuring that would be the best place to avoid fellow campers. Her dark brown hair turned black in the dimmed light as she relished the feeling of the cool shadow on her skin. She hadn't been here long and she already missed her back alley street ways of New York City.

Axel was disturbed from his depressing stare at the branches above him as he heard the foot falls of an approaching person. He sat up straighter and leveled his head, scanning the area below him for whoever it was that decided to ruin his peace an quiet. His eyes landed on a girl, she was alone and he didn't recognize her, but he guessed Hades from her dark appearance and the fact she was wandering alone. Axel closed his eyes in a frustrated gesture. There was no peace and quiet in this place. It was way to small to fit all the teens who wanted their peace and quiet. Tucking his novel in his pocket and shifted to his toes, prepared to leave his newly found spot if the girl decided to settle there.

Eris' dark olive eyes settled on to Axel, a sneer clear on her lips. People here too? C'mon what are the odds, how many of these freaks like to dance out in the trees? She examined her from a far before carrying her path along, not really caring it would be taking her right past him. She had approximately zero intentions of carrying on any sort of conversation with him--or honestly anyone here for that matter.

Having caught the sneer on the girls face, Axel's facial expression quickly changed from frustration to clear annoyance. It was bad enough he couldn't be left alone, but now everyone had the audacity to judge him. At this point he had half a mind just sneak out of camp to get some privacy from all the entitled 'Demigods' he was surrounded by. "Got something to say then say it." Axel said gruffly under his breath. Being to desperate for a moment alone to actually start another fight with someone else, he said it quietly in hopes she wouldn't hear. Even better if she didn't even see his mouth move from the remark . Pursing his lips together, he decided sitting and being taunted by passerby's was not something he was remotely interested it. Axel leapt off the branch landing on the opposite side that the path was on and glanced around, looking for a less popular place to seclude himself. Preferably far away from walkways.

Seth hummed softly as he put the final touches on a complex looking design. He felt quite proud of his latest creation. An iron battle ax with an inscription on the handle and the blade getting a roaring manticore ingrained on it. One of the Ares kids put a request for this and he was more than happy to fulfill the request. "Almost done." He muttered softly as he worked on the fur and tail. Putting in the designs or engravings were usually the harder parts but he was determined to get it done. Mainly because he didn't want to possibly get beaten up.
Asher stood on the beach and watched the waves hit the shore. He takes in the salty air and lets out a soft sigh. He couldn't help but be reminded of his home. He moved his hands into his pockets and wondered what his mother and former friends were up to right now.
Lani debates on what she should do. A part of her wanted to hang out with the Hermes kids, attempt the climbing wall or train in the arena. Granted, she didn't feel like training right now. She was pretty confident in her skills being a child of Ares and all. Still, there might be others and she could impress them.
Luke was currently laying in the grass and watching the clouds pass by. He felt like having a lazy day although that happened just about every day. Still a counselor needed a break every once and a while. Luke felt the kids in his cabin would be fine.

"Tch." Eris rolled her eyes. "Boys really are the dumbest creatures alive. I don't have a disease he can be near my presence." Eris couldn't care less whether or not Axel heard her at this point. There was zero reason for her to be friends with anyone here, considering the fact she could tell the clear unease some of the campers had around her. Sure, being the daughter of death was intimidating, but was Eris a bad person? Not really. Not like anyone cared. They heard Hades and their skin crawled. Not like she cared. It was better to be feared then to be led on by false respect and friendship.

Axel took a deep breath when her snide comment slipped it's way into his ears. His frustration with his whole situation was being to boil over. He spun around and looked at her with a stone cold expression, speaking loud enough to confirm that this time he was indeed addressing her directly. "Dear God, maybe if girls learned to shut their mouths every once in awhile, we'd actually enjoy being around them." He said with venom, tightening his lips into a temporary passive aggressive smile that disappeared in seconds.

oh he snap))
Eris stopped dead in her tracks at the remark, the raging feminist inside suddenly catching fire. Her hands clenched in to fists as her dark eye connected with his. "Come about ten steps closer and say it again, you miserable rat." She hissed, no remorse in her gaze. Pummeling this snide brat into the ground would be rather appeasing to her, and allow some steam to get blown off. Who doesn't love a little fight to calm their nerves. Eris had already decided to pretty much hated everyone here, but Axel just took the top of that list. "Do you have a name, worm?"
