Hello! Welcome to Hemlockclan! I jump in clan! Hemlockclan is settled in a very large and thick hemlock forest! The camp itself is small with thick bramble walls and a huge hemlock tree growing smack in the middle of the camp. Leader-Sharpstar- a elegant and slender all white tom with Amber eyes and unusually long whiskers. He's usually grumpy do to his old age but in his younger years he was the most loyal tom. Deputy- none yet Medicine cat-Maplestripe-a rather scruffy looking brown tabby tom with large amber eyes. Maplestripe keeps to himself usually and is usually very jumpy. Medicine cat apprentice- Forestpaw- Warriors- Hollysnag-a medium sized deep gray she-cat with deep green eyes. Hollysnag is very kind but she does have a temper. Mudbelly-small mostly white tom cat a brown belly and stripe that starts at his nose and ends at the back of his head. Green eyes. Mudbelly is a very likable tom who loves to joke around but when it comes down to it he can be serious. Apprentices- Creekpaw-large and bulky pale gray tabby cat with pale blue eyes. Creekpaw is very cold and tends to ignore his mentor. Ashenpaw- Shinepaw- Queens- none yet Kits- none yet Elders- Frostnose-a scruffy blue gray tabby she-cat with sharp green eyes. Frostnose's ears are very tattered and she is missing some toes, this is do to a snow storm she got caught in as a apprentice. Frostnose is very wise and loves telling stories. Lightflower- Lightflower is a pretty golden she-cat with a lean frame and white paws and tail-tip that seem to glow in the sunlight. She is pretty sturdy for a she-cat her size, and her neck shows signs of darker flecks. Her fur is short in general, so you will find her complaining about how cold she is in Leaf-bare. She has white spots all over her body, and they do the same. Her eyes are like pools of emeralds, a dark shimmering green. Her tail and legs are quite long and thin. Lightflower was a fast runner, and likes to boast about how she leaped over Death Ravine when she was a young, inexperienced warrior. She has had loss in her life, but she has toughened up. It wasn't a surprise when her parents found out that she had did such a daring thing without permission, with her being determined and brave. She had shown signs of a brave, boastful, and dedicated warrior as a kit, because she loved attempting to sneak out of camp with Cherrykit. She had also started a wee little crush on Cedarleap, Cedarpaw at the time, and it got stronger as she grew. As an apprentice, she showed interest for Cedarleap, but he ignored it completely and acted as if she didn't exist. Lightflower got angry, and as a warrior, she dared Cedarleap to leap the Death Ravine with her and Cherryfeather. He agreed, and they went. But they both died in the process, leaving Lightflower in a shadow of grief and regret. After many seasons, she decided to retire, and is now a cheerful soul with a lot of patience, and has grown nosy. She is always looking for gossip. Though she still kept her boastful personality, and she loves telling exaggerated stories and myths to the kits Read more: wcrpforums.com/thread/66945/hemlockclan-jump?page=1#ixzz5dxjl4wJv

Sharpstar sat just under the great hemlock tree, it's shade casting half the camp in a thick shadow that was welcomed in the heat of the day. Sharpstar a whiskers twitched as a crow called from a nearby hemlock tree. It was a beautiful day, it was a bit to warm but besides that everything seemed to be just right. The fresh kill pile was full of large prey. None of the patrols had any trouble today. Sharpstar took in a long break, releasing it with a small huff.
Hollysnag slowly stalked a fat blue jay, her deep green eyes never leaving the blue bird. Suddenly the bird took flight but with a well aimed leap Hollysnag pulled the bird to the ground and killed it before it could scare away any other prey.
Mudbelly lay out side of the warriors den. His long fluffy tail flicking slowly as he watched a butterfly float across the camp.

Mudbelly turned his gaze to his apprentice. With a loud yawn the tom pulled himself to his paws and stretched. "Did you clean out Frostnose's nest?" Mudbelly asked. He turned his gaze to the small den where the clans only elder stayed.

Mudbelly nodded. "Alright then lets go hunting! Do you want to invite Creekpaw to come with us?" Mudbelly turned attention to the bulky tom, who was eating a mouse at the moment."

Mudbelly nodded. "More the merrier." Mudbelly called over to Creekpaw. "Creekpaw do you want to come with us? We are going hunting." The bulky gray apprentice glanced up to the white and brown warrior. "No." Was all the apprentice said. "Umm well ok lets go guys." Mudbelly started his way towards the vamps entrance. He gave the bulky apprentice one last glance before exiting.

(Here's Lightflower, an elder with a patient and boasting personality.)
Lightflower nestled deeper into her nest, glancing around the elder's den, as if a rumor in the clan would pop out of the walls. She muttered to herself about how the moss in her bedding was really dry, and she fell asleep, dreaming about jumping over the Death Ravine. It was a memory. "Come on!" Cherryfeather nudged her closer to the edge of the deep ravine. Lightflower shivered. Cats had died trying jumping over the ravine. But her crush, Cedarleap, was watching her. She had to. She took a deep breath, and bunched her muscles. She leaped. Air weaved between her legs, and she closed her eyes. After about three heartbeats, she felt the soft grass beneath her paws again. Lightflower opened her eyes and she sighed in relief, her tension released. She turned around, meeting Cherryfeather's gaze. "Your turn," She called, and Cherryfeather reluctantly shook herself and padded to the cliff. She hesitated, then jumped. She began to reach Lightflower. But a twist in Lightflower's gut told her that she wouldn't make it. "CHERRYFEATHER!" She yowled, her ears folded back. Cherryfeather plunged into the dark abyss, yowling. Cedarleap gasped, and his paw slipped. The ground beneath him crumbled, and he fell, yelping in surprise as he disappeared into the darkness below. "NO!" Lightflower howled into the night. She had lost her sister AND her crush. She collapsed onto the ground, wailing in grief. "CEDARLEAP! CHERRYFEATHER! COME BACK!" Lightflower screamed into the night. But there was no response. "Please..." She whimpered, and everything melted into darkness. Lightflower murmured the words into the waking world, kicking and twitching as if she could reach her sister and Cedarleap.

Frostnose lifted her her head the murmuring and twitching of Lightfur had awoken the elder. Frostnose sighed softly and pulled herself to her paws, trotting over to the twitching she-cat Frostnose softly nudged her with a paw. "Lightflower." She meowed softly. The blue gray she-cat had gotten use to this. "It's only a dream." She added softly. Sometimes Lightflower had to wake Frostnose from nightmares. She usually just had dreams of the snow storm that took some of her toes and left her ears tattered.

Mudbelly sniffed the air, his whiskers twitched a bit. "What do you smell?" He questioned Shinepaw quietly. The warrior didn't even notice Ashenpaw climbing which in Hemlockclan territory could be dangerous and mentors usually only let apprentices climb trees when they where trained to climb the thick old trees. Mudbellys tail flicked softly.

Lightflower jerked, and gasped, like usual. She opened her eyes and groaned softly. "Cherryfeather, Cedarleap..." She murmured, and shifted upright. "Thank you, Frostnose." She dipped her head to the blue she-cat. "The same dream. Again." She grumbled and pawed at her nest, thinking about her dream. Suddenly, she felt a presence. Cherryfeather's scent wrapped around her, and she sniffed the air. a glimmer of Cherryfeather's sandy golden fur flashed around her, and Lightflower saw Cherryfeather's blue-green eyes flash, and no more. I must be going mad, She reasoned to herself and flicked her tail in annoyance. Yesterday, Lightflower had seen Cedarleap near the Death Ravine. He had stared at her, then leaped into the crack in the earth. She didn't understand why. His spirit seemed to have leaped there on purpose. Wasn't he supposed to be in Starclan, with his family, laughing and joking with his family?

(Got to eat dinner) Lilypaw glanced around the forest. She had been checking to see if another clan cat was watching her. Then she smirked and stalked a rogue that was unaware of the young she-cat prowling in the bushes behind him. She fluffed herself up and made the most terrifying face she could and leaped out of the bushes, yowling, "I WILL DESTROY YOU!" The rogue screamed and ran off, tail tucked between his stocky legs. She laughed and trotted off, her tail swishing in triumph and amusement. Lilypaw looked around, her blue eyes flashing and her gray fur swaying in the breeze. She was quite a cruel cat, behind the mask of kindness to her clanmates.

Mudbelly sighed as Ashenpaw climbed down the tree. "Could you please tell me when you go off and climb trees but nice catch its very difficult to catch prey in trees." Mudbelly sniffed the air once more before making his way down the well used trail. "Lets see if there is anything else near by." He meowed softly. Mudbelly took a sharp left purposely avoiding the Ravine. He didn't want any of the apprentices to fall in.

Frostnose softly nuzzled her firend to help her calm down. "It's alright, do you want me to grab you something to eat?" Frostnose asked softly. It seemed Lightflowers nightmares were getting worst and more often. She feared for her firend. Maybe she should ask Maplestripe about Lightflower and her nightmares. Frostnose didn't think Maplestripe could do much but it didn't hurt to ask.

Hollysnag watched Lilypaw from high in a old hemlock tree. Her deep green eyes locked on the cruel apprentice. It seemed both Creekpaw and Lilypaw would get along very well. They both where rather cold and cruel. Hollysnag shifted in her spot. She had tried to talk to Sharpstar about the two but the old cat wouldn't hear it. Hollysnag sighed softly.

Mudbelly was silent for a bit before he finally spoke. "Where did you learn to hunt in trees like that Ashenpaw?" He questioned quietly. He was purely curious about the apprentices hunting ability. Mudbelly had never be able to hunt in trees and watching his brother Grayspot fall from a tree and nearly get killed Mudbelly stayed on the ground and only taught apprentices how to climb trees when he needed to.

"Frostnose, I smell Cherryfeather," Lightflower meowed suddenly. She shifted and stretched. She stood up and shook out her ginger fur, her white flecks rippling. "Cherryfeather," She called, glancing around the den. "Have you come back, with Cedarleap, to tell me this was a joke you had this whole time? Have you made a life with him, and all your kits, with this cruel joke?" Her legs shook and her ears were laid back in anger. "I'll get my own prey," She meowed to Frostnose, and stalked out of the den. Cherryfeather, why have you done this to me?

Lilypaw laughed. "Now, what else am I going to do?" She asked thoughtfully. "Oh! I know!" And she padded off into the trees, disappeared. She planned to cross the border into unknown territory and find some rogues and loners to intimidate.
