Plot- Your Mortal character has grown up hearing the stories of the powerful but reclusive God of Life, he has always admired the stories of old and wishes constantly to meet even one. Now his magical Inheritance at 16, he has felt his Mate Bond tug at his heart. His Mate's Bond has awoken. Now he is on the hunt for his Mate and found himself stumbling through a Portal to another realm, the realm of the Gods. The God of Magic- The Magic God is an interesting individual. More interesting than other Gods, that is. For all Gods are looked upon as... distant, not quite... here. Faerdhinen is much more distant, even to others of his power. He wears a light but deep hooded robe, upon a light and simple tunic. His robe is a deep blue, one so deep it is easily mistaken for black. It is lined with silver. Each God has their own symbol upon the black of their robes, explaining who they are. Faerdhinen’s symbol is black and white Nightingale. God has their own unique creature, so no one is ever confused for another.
Under the robe, Faerdhinen wears a light forest colored tunic. His skin is lightly tanned and only because that is his natural skin color, as his skin rarely touches the light. The God’s frame is tall and lithe, but don’t mistake him for being weak. For he is mentally one the strongest Gods.. But being part cat, they will never have huge muscles. Faerdhinen’s hair is on the longer side, trailing down his shoulder blades, but not quite to the middle of his back. It is a light shade of brown/yellow… often described as honey color. This is a contrast with his dark brown cat ears, but it bothers him not. Now, his eyes are most certainly cat-like, they are slitted and mesmerizing, swirling with the color of gold. Oh and being that he is half-cat, he also has long white whiskers. As well as a long dark brown tail, the same color of his ears.
Personality-wise, Faerdhinen is very quiet, wise, an observer, invisible. But he is also looked at as aloof, towards others. From older ones who aren’t close to him, he is seen as emotionless. While in reality, he has plenty of emotions, but he shows them in smaller ways than others. A… side-effect, according to his former mentors, if being… more connected to nature, than others. Although unknown to most Faerdhinen has always been an ‘emotionless’ male. On the other hand, to those closest to him, he also has the warmest and most genuine smile when he chooses to. His heart for others is large, and when upset in any way the way he moves and speaks says a great deal of how he feels. One just has to truly listen and watch.

(( Your description is amazing ._. I love how thorough it is! )) My mortal - One thing taught to him from a young age was always to fear and love the Gods. Each one was reverenced and praised, even if no one could truly explain why. Arek was never one to question it; he always followed the rules and made sure to visit the temples when required of him. At times, he wished he knew more about the Gods and their reclusive nature, and why they never truly showed themselves to mortals. But he never questioned their motives.
Arek was tall for his age, and more athletically inclined then others expected him to be. As a young boy, he was always having to scavenge for food with his parents like much of the poor sector of his town. But fate and luck shined down on them when, at the age of thirteen, his mother gained an inheritance from an aunt she didn't know she had. Able to buy a house and give them the sustenance they needed, Arek found himself enjoying sports and games he could not play before. He quickly grew muscle mass and became a formidable opponent.
Arek rarely ever kept up with his shaggy mop of black hair, save for when his mother forced him to comb it out. He had a set of piercing blue eyes, which made nearly every girl in the town shudder when they saw him. He was never really one to give them the time of day, though. He never really felt a draw to any of them. Arek also had a small dimple on his left cheek whenever he smiled, but not on the right. He had a small scar on his forehead from an accident while playing with his friends when he was fourteen, but his hair usually covered it.
Arek's rather large exterior matched his personality rather well. He was a very outgoing teen, making friends wherever he went and able to make just about anyone laugh. He knew how hard it was living in squalor and trying to fight to stay alive, so he continuously tried to make sure no one ever felt the low feelings he once did. His smile hides a lot of negative emotions, though. He deals with a lot of anxiety and fears of the unknown, mostly wishing it would go away at times. He tries to stay positive as often as possible, but finds difficulty in doing so sometimes.

(Lol, thanks! He is actually an older character that I made and adore. Arek sounds amazing as well! I love how descriptive he is.) A lone figure stands in the center of the temple gardens, beside a glass fountain that continuously had the purest water flowing from it year round. Surrounding the figure were rows upon rows of exotic plants, flowers to simple vines with leaves upon them. Trees that reached high to the sky also dotted the area, their trunk a starry silver, leaves shining gold, and flowers as white as snow. Currently, the figure who was a God bent over a bush of blood roses. These roses were very unique for they were the color or blood and even smelt like it, but in the center of it glows a diamond. Smiling, the God Faerdhinen, gently picked a few precious roses and placed them in his woven basket upon his arm. He was gathering various flowers to decorate the halls of his temple and home. He liked to switch them out every few days, which were actually centuries to a mere mortal. Not that any mere mortals have ever stepped onto the plane of the Gods or Goddess since their banishment during the Ancient Wars. "Such interesting days those were. When we walked among humans without them even knowing it... Times when we gently molded history," he murmured to himself as his soft honey eyes roamed around the area. But then his cat ears twitched and he turned all the way around, gasping softly as his eyes landed upon a small portal becoming bigger before his eyes. 'A portal? But... where is it connected to?' He thought, a tinge of worry filling him. Dropping the basket of flowers he raised a hand a fireball forming in front of his palm, eyes darkening as he waited to see what came through and then how he would deal with it.

Everything seemed to blur together. Colors that swirled in unison, creating light shows round him and picking his imagination to see what objects he could make out of the chaos. It was almost as if they were testing him, seeing what his mind could accomplish when given so little. But within an instant, none of it really mattered. He blinked open his eyes, the school bell ringing loudly in his ears. He had been daydreaming again. Except he had fallen asleep this time while doing so. He sighed and stood, grabbing his things and putting them neatly in his bag, swinging it over his shoulder and walking out of the classroom door.
Sometimes it felt as though nothing could really excite him anymore. It was the same routine, day by day, and he didn't know how to liven up the monotony of it all. He gave smiles to the people around him and the greetings he got, with the occasional "happy birthday!" sprinkled in there for good effect. Ah, yes. His sixteenth birthday. Not that sixteen was really anything special, but for some reason, he could feel inside him that this was going to be unlike any birthday he'd ever had - or will ever have.
Arek walked down the sidewalk calmly, listening to his feet as they hit the pavement. His eyes were not full of the usual happiness, however; they were puzzled. Something inside him was stirring, and he couldn't understand what. He suddenly felt the urge to stop. His gut was pulling him to turn. Begging him, even. His blue eyes glanced down the street, and before he knew it, he was sprinting. He couldn't understand why, couldn't understand what was driving him to act like this. But before he had time to think about possible answers, the ground swallowed him.
Everything seemed to blur together. Once again, the colors danced around him, except this time they weren't just behind his eyelids. They were all around him. His black hair waved around him as gusts of wind seemed to batter him from all sides, and just as he began to get his bearings, he felt himself fall to the ground. Disoriented, he lifted his head, the sunlight shining brightly down on him. He used his hand to cover his eyes a bit as they focused on a reddish ball in front of him. "Where... What..." He couldn't finish his question, for when his eyes adjusted, they widened with fear. There was a man standing in front of him, who also wasn't a man. He had cat ears, eyes, and a tail. And a fireball coming from his hand. Arek backed up slightly, unable to piece together what was going on. "Please, I don't... I don't know what happened. I don't know where I am, or why I'm here, I just... I was running, and then... I fell? I think, I don't really know..." He stumbled over his words. "Please don't hurt me..."

A mortal... human? Faerdhinen thought in surprise, but then seeing how scared they were he extinguished the flame and dropped his hand to his side. Golden gaze filled with wonder. How could a human appear here? That was simply impossible!
Breathing out slowly, after realizing that he was holding his breath in the first place he tilted his head to the side a clear motion of question. "Who... Who are you?" he asked, his voice soft and tinged with a musical note. How odd that a human stepped through the portal? Speaking of, portals had been sealed by the Gods and Goddess centuries before. How did this one get through the magic? It simply made no sense!
After a moment of hesitation, he stepped forward, grace in every movement. "I apologize for frightening you. I was startled by your appearance. Are you... well?" As he gazed at the human, Faerdhinen took note of how cute he was for a human. His eyes were the most entrancing part of him though, that was clear to the God of magic.

Arek blinked slowly, looking around as the figure before him dropped the fireball that had been forming in his hand. He obviously wasn't home... No, this place looked like a whole new universe. Everything was breathtakingly gorgeous. The sky, the flowers, the trees. The air felt cleaner than he'd ever breathed in before. It was almost suffocating.
Then the figure spoke. His voice had a singsongy quality to it, a gentle lullaby that wasn't really meant to put you to sleep. He looked back at the figure, noticing then how striking his eyes were. Large and golden, like the soul of a lion was staring into him. They were... captivating, to say the least. "Where am I?" Arek repeated, his eyes turning from fear to curiosity and wonder. "You don't look human..."
Hearing him ask if he was well, Arek nodded hesitantly, slowly getting onto his feet and standing. His balance felt a little off, but he corrected himself quickly. "I don't know how I got here. I don't mean to intrude, I swear." His gaze was down to the ground, but he looked back at the figure before him. "I'm Arek."

A silent nod of acknowledgment, as his gaze moved to stare into space. His thoughts tumbled around trying to find a logical reason for this human to have come here yet, nothing made any sense! Turning his golden gaze onto the human he moved forward slowly.
"Tis a pleasure to meet you..." he trailed off as the mortals said his name mentally, wanting to assure himself that he was saying it correctly. "Ah, Arek. Nice to meet you. I"m Faerdhinen the God of Magic," he introduced himself with a graceful bow. His cheeks tinged with pink, as he was for some reason embarrassed to say his title.
"This is the realm or plane, of the Gods and Goddess. I am most certainly not human, least not for many millennia now," he continued, watching the human closely for his reaction. If it was bad he would have to use magic t sedate him, though he hoped he would not need to.

Arek's eyes widened. Did he say... God? No, there was no way. That wasn't possible. It can't be, Arek thought to himself. The realm of the Gods? And his name... Faerdhinen. He'd definitely heard that name before. The God of Magic. He had a temple in Arek's hometown. But he looked almost nothing like the figure standing before him. They depicted Faerdhinen as being more slender, taller, with elf ears more so than cat ears. There was no way.
But what else could describe where he was, or who this person was before him? "God of Magic," Arek murmured, as if under a spell. His head was spinning. He was in the realm of the Gods. He was speaking to a God. One of the Gods he was always told to praise. This was insane. By all known mortal thoughts, this should not be possible. But it was, and Arek was here, standing in front of one of the most prominent Gods he'd grown up learning about.
Before he knew it, Arek's vision started going blurry, and his head felt light. His eyes rolled to the back of his head, and he collapsed, the insane thought of it all being too much for him to handle.

Faerdhinen watched and watched, nodding as the male repeated that yes, he was the God of Magic himself. So far, while stunned everything seemed alright- Uh-oh. Letting out an undignified yelp, he scrambled forward after the boy collapsed and hovered around him fretting. 'What now?!' Wringing his hands together, he bit his lower lip and slitted eyes darted about looking for help. Though he knew no help would be around.
Finally, he froze and just blinked at the body. "Faerdhinen, do something! You can't just leave him like this!" he exclaimed to himself. Nodding to himself, he knelt and hovered a hand above the prone body magic swirled around him and lifted him off the ground. Then promptly he carried him to a guest room in the temple, laying him down on the regal looking bed. Pausing a moment, he reached down and pulled the silk sheet over his to just below his neck.
Turning his back on the sleeping figure, he waved his hand and a chair floated over. Taking a seat, he closed his eyes and thought.

It was a few hours before Arek woke up, and when he did, his head was pounding. He groaned softly and slowly opened his eyes, seeing a beautifully ornate ceiling above his head. He noticed he was laying on what felt like the comfiest bed he had ever laid on, and he sat up slowly, grabbing the side of his head where he hit it when he fell.
The room around him was gorgeous. The walls were beautifully decorated with golden accents and trimming, and the blankets covering him were a deep burgundy with shimmering white filigree. He blinked slowly, captivated by the beautiful room surrounding him, and as his eyes continued to scan the room, they stopped at the figure sitting near him. It was Faerdhinen. The reason he fainted. Arek really took in his features as he sat there with his eyes closed; the smooth, almost porcelain-like texture of his tanned skin, his hair as it gently cascaded down his back and shoulders, the curve of his nose, and how his tail seemed to neatly lay beside him.
Arek felt himself flush pink. He was really in the presence of a God. He thought maybe it had all been a dream, that he actually hadn't stumbled into the realm of the Gods, but no. He was here. And Faerdhinen was sitting next to him.

Faerdhinen had returned to the present at the soft groan but he kept his curious gaze closed a moment longer. Eventually, he did open them as he did he smiled at the human- ah, Arek. Humans were such interesting creatures, even when he among them he felt out of place, lost. He clearly remembered the not so friendly ones very well, but even they could not dampen his curiosity of them and his want to be close. Really though, the main reason he has kept away from them for so long was that of the other Gods and Goddess, he had no interest in upsetting them. The punishment for disobeying was severe, that much he knew.
"Are you okay? Your head, does it need healing?" Faerdhinen questioned softly, leaning forward with a worried frown. His tail stayed draped over the chair, but not twitched in anxiety. Dark brown cat-ears flattened against his head and he titled said head to the side. "I'm sorry. I did not even think that you could be injured from your fall," he murmured, ashamedly. How could he be so obtuse?
Standing swiftly, he wrung his hands together. "Oh, and food. You must be hungry... What would you like to eat?" he was rambling at this point, having no visitors for so long had taken its toll. Now he was a bundle of nerves that had no idea how to act.

Arek noticed he was staring at him when Faerdhinen finally opened his eyes and smiled at him. He turned his gaze away, feeling the warmth on his cheeks continue to stay there. He wasn't really one to blush, but could anyone blame him? He was in the presence of a God. A fascinatingly gorgeous one at that. Faerdhinen just seemed so flawless and well put together that he was slightly intimidating despite his obviously soft personality. It was something Arek wasn't used to.
He glanced over again as Faerdhinen began rambling, and he chuckled a little, watching the God twitch with worry. He didn't even know Gods could get worried. He noticed Faerdhinen's tail twitch and his ears flatten and his fingers knot with one another, and he sat up a little straighter. "My head should be fine," he said gently. "Just hurts a little from hitting it. A little bit of rest and I should be fine." He was about to say he didn't need food either, but then his stomach rumbled and told him otherwise. He bit his lip gently and gave a sheepish grin. "Though, I wouldn't mind some food..."
He wondered what kinds of food the Gods even ate. Did they eat normal, people food? Or was it like some kind of enhanced food? Did they eat at all? He blinked and his thoughts were interrupted by another growl of his stomach. "Maybe a lot of food."

Faerdhinen logically knew that humans weren't as frail as he was thinking, but he still couldn’t help but worry. However, he assumed that they knew their bodies and limitations well, so after Arek said that he would be fine with some rest, he allowed himself to relax slightly.
Then the low rumble of a stomach met his ears and he couldn’t help but laugh softly, it was bell-like. “I can certainly get you something to eat. Is there anything, in particular, you would like? Or dislike for that matter?” the god asked with an encouraging smile.

Arek smiled and shook his head. "No, not really," he said. "I'll eat just about anything, honestly." His favorite food was steak, with potatoes and broccoli on the side, but he didn't really think that would be much of an option here.
"What exactly do Gods eat, anyway?" he asked, situating himself to sit up a little more and in a more comfortable position. His head was already starting to feel better. "Like, do you guys have human foods here? Or is there some special... God food?" God food? Yeah, that sounded very intelligent. Arek blushed gently. "Like, enchanted food, or..." He wasn't helping himself at all, but he rattled on, trying to get his point across. When he realized it wasn't working, he sighed and shook his head. "Nevermind..."

Faerdhinen nodded, if he wouldn't mind anything then he had an idea in mind. The God loved t bake, it was one activity he chose to do without any magic, even to clean up afterward. It was calming and he loved the smells that the savory and sweet made. He truly believed that cooking and baking were gifts. However, he never had anyone to give it to and so he ate it himself. Luckily he learned very quickly how to make small amounts of food for one person.
Smiling at the rambling male, Faerdhinen gave a light shrug. "No, tis alright Arek. Your question is understandable. I'm sure a Gods food choice isn't something well known down in the mortal plane," he spoke to assure the young man. "As for what we eat well... Did you know there is a higher force than us Gods and Goddess?" Instead of answering right away, he felt like asking that first, "The Fates are higher beings. They decide the Fate of not just humans but Gods too. Anyway, to answer your question we eat the same food as humans but, our taste for it is different than humans," Faerdhinen spoke slowly, forming what he was saying as he said it. "Myself for example. I cook and bake often but no matter what I do, the food tastes like... well, sand." Shrugging slightly after he was finished.

Arek's eyebrows furrowed in slight confusion. He didn't really understand where Faerdhinen's mind was going at that point, but he went along with it anyway. He had never heard of the Fates... Maybe that was something that humans had forgotten about over time. He never saw any shrines or temples dedicated to them, nor anything about them in religious writings.
He thought about baking, and how Faerdhinen said he liked to bake. Bakery... A nice, warm, chocolate cake sounded so good... He smiled. "Maybe I could help you bake something," he offered. "I help my mom back all the time."
He then thought back to how Faerdhinen talk about the Fates, and how they decided on what happens to Gods and humans alike. That's when an idea popped into his head. "Is it possible to visit the Fates?" he asked. "Maybe they can tell us why I'm here."

"I'd love to bake with you when you are fully rested," the god said with a smile. Yes, he'd enjoy the company alright. After the last question, he frowned and tapped his chin. "The Fates do not meet with us unless they must," he explained.
(Sorry, brain dead from school. >.<)

(( Lol I feel that ))
Arek frowned. "Well, this must be a must kinda thing, right?" he asked. "I mean, I've never heard of a human going to the immortal realm as long as I've been alive. And I'm sure it's not something that should be taken lightly. There's got to be some sort of reason I'm here, and I'm sure they know why."
