Savageclan: We Shall Rise Again
For many moons we've been lying in wait, building our numbers and strength. Waiting for the moment to return and strike fear into the hearts of our enemies. We've given up our kit stealing ways and instead focus more on our battle prowess!
For many moons we've been lying in wait, building our numbers and strength. Waiting for the moment to return and strike fear into the hearts of our enemies. We've given up our kit stealing ways and instead focus more on our battle prowess!
Story plots:
Main story- The clan is without a leader and the clan has been a free-for-all since, still no word from the medicine cat as to who should be Leader.Side story- Most cats have given up their faith in Starclan, either choosing to believe in nothing or siding with the dark forest. Many believe this is why Starclan will not send a sign as to who should be leader.
Side story 2- As the clan adjusts to it relatively new home and camp, dangers lurk around every corner. Snakes, foxes, badgers, hawks, and even bears are a current threat to the clan. If you go outside the camp you'd best stay alert.
Side story 3- Since the territory is still new to the clan, sometimes patrols are sent out to explore certain areas to find and check out possible new landmarks. These patrols are usually made up of at least 4 cats or more depending on how dangerous the journey may be. These patrols are usually sent out once a moon.
General Territory- A foggy pine forest, the tall evergreens cast a shadow onto the forest floor making it seem dark all day long. There are two rivers flowing through the southern portion of the territory, good for fishing and swimming as the currents aren't too strong except during new-leaf when all the ice and snow thaws into the rivers. There's also a lumber mill, a berry and herb meadow, and a rock pile where snakes can be found. These are the only landmarks discovered at this time.
Camp- Nestled between four large pine trees is a medium sized clearing surround with brambles and thorn bushes. The clearing does dip down making it about a foot lower than the rest of the forest floor, this sometimes causes flooding to happen during storms and constant rain fall.
The Tree Cutters- To the far west of camp is a large two-leg den with stacks of dead and cut up trees laying around. The clan avoids the two-legs and their monsters, but will sometimes use to the area to find prey.
Berry Meadow- A small clearing south west of camp and close to the Swift Rivers, medicine cat travel here in search of herbs, flowers, and berries which they use for healing. Medicine cats are to be escorted here by a patrol of warriors as the berries are a main snack for hungry bears.
Swift Rivers- Two rivers that connect and turn into one, these rivers travel from both west and east of camp. On the western side there are large piles of rock where snakes tend to make their home. Decent place for snake hunting, but all cats must be cautious as to not be bitten by a poisonous snake.
Venom Rocks- So far the most dangerous place within the territory, home to many kinds of snake both venomous and nonvenomous. Only the brave and quick dare to come here in search of prey, or some mouse-brained apprentice or young warrior trying to prove themselves. Even some water snakes make their home here, like the water moccasin.
Camp:
Leader's den- A medium size den tucked into the hollowed out base of an old, dead tree. Cracks within the tree are stuffed with moss and dirt to keep wind and rain out. Its big enough for two cats to sit inside, depending on the cat's size. This den is located near the entrance of camp.
The Gathering Stones- In the middle of camp is a small, but high raised pile of rocks and stones that are covered in moss. This is where clan meetings are held. The Gathering Stones are located in the center of camp.
Warriors den- Under a large bush lies the warriors den, the top of the bush is sometimes covered with sticks, moss, and leaves to help keep the rain and cold out. The warrior's den is located in the far back wall of the camp, way across from the camp entrance.
Apprentices den- Right between the Warriors den and the Elder's den, this den is made with ferns and undergrowth, the long leaves provide just enough shelter for the apprentices.
Nursery- Next to the medicine cats den is an abandoned burrow that has since been dug further into and expanded to fit more queens and kits. The ground in the burrow is softer than the rest of camp. The entrance to the burrow is covered over with vines, keeping it hidden from most wild animals if they were to get into camp.
Medicine cats den- Opposite side of the entrance from the leader's den, and right next to the Nursery is the Medicine cats den. A big rock formation and cave, making room for quite a few cats to sleep inside. The cracks in the rocks make for excellent storage of herbs and other medicines.
Elders den- A large, hollowed out fallen log is where the elders sleep. It's small and cozy but it's lined with plenty of moss to keep the elders dry and warm. Elder's can exit from any of the two entrances in the log.
Savageclan Warrior Code:
Savageclan Warrior Code:
Defend the clan, even with your life. You will be attacked and chased away if your loyalty is not solely to the clan.
Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits.
Prey is killed only to be eaten.
The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat.
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
A kit must be six moons old to become an apprentice.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge and attack all trespassing cats.
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is not from Savageclan.
The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
RP Rules:Follow all forum rules and guidelines, no exceptions as well as clan rules. Let's keep things civil as we can please so everyone can have fun.
Under no circumstances will bullying or harassment will be tolerated. You'll have three strikes and then I will have to ask you to leave.
No godmodding or killing characters without permission.
The leader and deputy positions will be filled in later, however I need and active person to rp the medicine cat as they will be the one deciding who will be leader. If you have one important role, leader, deputy, or medicine cat please don't be greedy and go for the other two important roles. Thank you.
If you're going to be inactive for a while please let me know, i know everyone is busy with their own stuff but i'd later everyone to be on and rp here at least once a week. I will make exceptions for some people, but if you have an important role then i need you to be on here at least once or twice a week. People who are inactive for three weeks without giving me a heads up first will be removed from the front page, you are free to join up again when you can be more active.
Try to keep genders even as well at the apprentice to warrior ratio, so if you make an apprentice also make a warrior as well. It'll really help.
Please don't try to rp as your own mate, that being said you can still join with a queen who has a dead or simply unknown mate.
I will age cats by one moon every two weeks, helps to keep everything move smoothly.
As the creator of the thread I reserve the rights to change or add the rules whenever I see it's needed. Any suggests are also welcome if I'm missing a rule or two.
