Assassin/Assassin (Both assassins) Plot #1- Your character has slowly but surely risen up the ranks of the Arcane Assassin Academy. Now he was offered a place among the best of the best, the Shadow Elite. His final goal was soon to be fulfilled, he would kill the leader of the Shadow Elite. (Their reason is up to you.) However, he is greeted by a problem and that is the Leader of the Shadow Elite is never around, not one member has had face to face contact with them. Only ever receiving and following orders, by his personal guard. (My guy.) What will he do to get a hold of the Leader? Will he try to earn his guards' trust? Is there any hope of gaining his trust? What about the small problem of falling in love with the mysterious guard?
----------------------------------------
My character-
Cage Anderson- (Assassin)
Cage is Asian, born from a Chinese woman and man. He spent his early childhood in China. When he was 8, Cage was taken from his home and familiar surrounds- by a slaver group, to the black markets in Russia. Before he reached his 9th birthday Cage had doneβ¦ unspeakable things. It changed him, made him hard but, also stronger and it made it worth the pain. A faint scar now is upon his face, cutting down his left eye to stop on his upper lip. His soot-black hair is haphazardly cut, rumored to have been cut with just a knife. While in fact it was cut by his own dagger, when it gets what he thinks is too long. Also, dagger and knife, two totally different things. Well, to Cage it is. Cageβs eyes are dark brown, almost black. They hold little to no emotion. He does not see emotions as a weakness like so many do, he just prefers to keep his emotions under a wrap. During the spell in Russia he gained many tattoos, most of which are on his chest and back and are different words and names. He has yet to explain what all the various words and names mean to him, if anything at all. The assassin was rescued from Russia when he was 11. Still young but, always veryβ¦ dark. Most assassins saw him as broken at first and wondered why they bothered rescuing him. Cage gave them their answer soon after he heard of their objections. In what manner? Well, those louder ones have still yet to turn up. Since he came to the agency he has risen quickly in rank and so respect. In fact, at 18 many believed one day soon he would challenge their director and beat him, in turn take his place. But Cage had made it abundantly clear to the Director that he has not a single wish for that. The assassin wanted absolutely nothing to do with leading. He was solo and that was that. Of course, it took a lot to convince the director that but here he was now 26 and yet to even glance at the Director in a challenging manner. When it comes to Cageβs personalityβ¦ Itβs surprisingly warm, for being everybody's worst nightmare. But it is true. He encourages the younger recruits and shows clear respect towards other older assassins. The reason? Contacts. Cage can change his outward attitude to match pretty much anyone he meets. It is huge for assassins to have great contacts and for this reason, Cage works to have the very best at his disposal. Interestingly, he is rather patient about it too. However, like all assassins, he had an icy side. A side no one dares touch. For that side usually ends up with the targets vanishing into thin air.

Allen Farrell
Born to a well off British family, Allen never suspected his life would have gone the way it has. After his parents, who he was very close with, were killed by a mysterious assassin that he later found out to be had a high power position in the Shadow elite he started his quest. To kill that person in revenge. It was cliche and he knows that but after experiencing something like it himself he can understand why people would go to such great lengths. And so began his training. He changed his name and dyed his hair and began his life as an assassin. Allen found out that he had quite the talent for it all and his natural talent was honed over the years. His climb to the top has been long and painful, and now that he is here he has only one thing in mind. His revenge on the director. When Allen was young he had pretty redish hair and striking blue eyes. However to keep his cover he died his hair a brown color and wears colored contacts that are also brown in color. He looks very average and he intends to keep it that way. In addition to the contacts he also can be seen wearing glasses. He specializes in using guns, specifically sniper rifles. His hand to hand combat is poor at best since he had quite the easy life when he was younger and had no reason to learn. Allens build is lithe and light, perfect for being quick on his feet and hard to catch. Despite being an assassin for so long he has few injuries or tattoos. Actually he's quite against pain and does all he can to avoid it. His personality is not what you'd expect from an assassin. He has a fiery attitude and is immensely prideful. Allen is a workaholic due to his pride and has been known to work himself perhaps a bit too hard. He takes just about any well paying case. He may have started this journey to get revenge, but that doesn't mean he can't be the best at what he does. Since he was raised in a high standing family he has a bit of a superiority complex, though over the years that rarely rears it's head anymore. Allen is friendly when he's not trying to win, and is actually quite social. He'll turn just about anything into a competition and will act volatile if you make an enemy of him but get past that and he's friendly enough to converse with. And even after becoming an assassin you can sometimes still see the rich boy inside him. He knows how dangerous this is and will often do his best to avoid showcasing that part of him.
I hope this looks ok, please let me know if anything needs to be changed or you don't like anything!)

(Looks prefect! ) Cage stood a balcony, dark brown gaze seeming to glow dimly from under his black hood. His gloved hands were placed on the railing, loose and relaxed. The assassin was positioned in a lazy uncaring way as he overlooked the newbies. He wasnβt one to normally stand here watching the cadets train, in fact he could definitely find something anything really, better to do with his time and skill. However, he kept hearing about this one assassin whose risen quickly up the ranks who was said to helpβ¦ train, the cadets from time to time. So, here he was for better or worse waiting to see if they showed up. βIf he doesnβt show up within the next twenty minutes, Iβm gone.β He thought boredly. As he observed the newbies, Cage had to say that they did look like a capable group. Least on the training grounds they were, on the field was something entirely different. Over the years of him being here, heβd seen those who were considered the best of the best here in training fail utterly once out in the field. Whether that meant by freezing, fleeing, dying- or all of the above. It was disgusting how weak the βstrongβ ones became when put to the test. It is true Chance myself looked like nothing if you ever got a real good look at him, but his choice of weapon would have you on the ground bleeding out in mere seconds if he was pressed. Snorting as he saw a newbie glance his way and then pale, looking ready to vomit at any given moment. What scared little animals. Prey he could hunt down and slaughter if he wanted to. βOr if I get bored enough.β He thought idly.

Awesome!)
Allen hustled to gather his things and make it to the training ground. In movies assassins always seemed calm and collected, they always had their shit together. Unfortunately Allen was not that kind of assassin. He was incredibly talented in his method of choice, but quite honestly he was a mess in a lot of other part of his life to make up for it. Once everything was collected he hurried to the training ground doors and caught his breath. Once he deemed himself put together enough he opened the door and walked in.
As soon as he entered the small chatter ceased and he waved lazily at the group "Hello hello, please gather around." his personality was also out of the ordinary. He was prideful to a fault, but in situation like this where he could show off and boss around people all he wanted he actually came across as quite friendly. Once everyone was gathered he explained they'd be training with guns.
Any type of gun was within his range of skills. Give Allen a knife and he'd cut himself, but give him a sniper rifle and he had deadly accuracy. Said deadly naturally extended to handguns, shots guns, and beyond. Though in the end he was most talented with his sniper rifle. Allen took the chance to demonstrate to the new cadets to show off a little. He used a handgun to shoot all the available targets, each bullet aimed perfectly at the targets head. There were a few mutters from some of the more vocal and new trainees. These small comments were what made Allens day.
"Ok, now that I've explained and demonstrated what to do you all give it a try. And I'm a professional, so don't expect to be as good as me today. You'd have to train for another ten- no one hundred years." a few trainees snorted at his mannerisms but got to work. Allen walked around as they practiced and gave a few tips here and there.
He'd noticed the other assassin watching in, but decided to ignore it for now. If they wanted something they could come and talk to him after the class was over.

Cage hummed softly to himself, his eyes gleamed with mirth as he watched and listened to the assassin as he addressed the young assassins. He seemed to have plenty of charisma, that is for sure. The trainees listened well and did not hesitate in relaying their orders as they were given. The high ranked assassin had to agree with the written reports, that praised Allen.
However, those were mostly about his skill and interaction with other assassins, both high and low rank. Cage was much more interested in knowing this male assassin outside of work. After all, there were things there that counted highly for great assassins. βWell, I suppose my mission now begins. Time to evaluate and possibly recruit the talented male into the highest formed group that the Shadow Elite had.β Cage thought with an excited smirk.
Without a second's hesitation, he suddenly vaulted himself over the railing and dropped three stories, landing and rolling into a standing position once he hit the ground. His trained muscles handed the landing smoothly, and so he briskly began to walk closer to the edge of the training arena. Cage would wait for training to be over before speaking to Allen.

'What the hell is he doing? You can't just come into my session and act all cool like that.' Allen thought childishly. Thankfully most of the students were focused on the targets in front of them. Mentally shaking his head Allen forced himself to return his full attention back to the students once more. The rest of the session was filled with a lot less of him talking, and mostly watching while they got a handle of the weapons. Since most of them had a bit of prior training they picked up the finer skills quickly. Though none of them had what it took to specialize in it.
Allen finished up the session by congratulating the students on not blowing someones hand off, an experience he'd rather not relive. When you were a sniper you had a somewhat disconnected feeling from what you were doing. Like what you'd expect from a video game. Close up gore was not something he enjoyed like some of his crazier coworkers. The students thanked him politely and went off on their own to do whatever they were signed up for next. They chatted more freely, a lot less stressed and closed up than before.
After going through the training himself Allen had found he disliked his super serious instructors. Murder wasn't a light subject in the least, but if you took it too seriously it would start to grind on your resolve and mental state. Another lesson he had learned first hand and a big contributor to his actions now.
Turning to face Cage he asked "So, what can I help you with?" he placed his hands on his hips and cocked his head to the side curiously, if not a bit standoffish. Allen had said it before, but he was prideful to a fault and even if Cage was silent the entire time he was still a bit salty someone had leered over him and his students like that. Yeah, Allen has started a few fights in his time here that was easy enough to see.

As the minutes ticked on by and finally the training came to an end, Cage was quite relieved. This had been getting more boring by the second. As a child and even now, he had issues with doing nothing for long periods of time. One would think guarding would be a 'nothing' sort of job, lots of observation and no action. That was simply not true. Yes, observation took a lot of his time but even then, his eyes moved as he tracked people, his mind always thinking of escape routes and ways to end a life if they threatened the Director. So no, it was not a 'nothing' sort of job at all.
Reigning in his focus as the students slowly slinked away from their trainer, Cage's gaze fell upon the practically pouting assassin. 'Someone did not enjoy having me near.' He thought rather dryly. On one hand, he himself hates being watched, on the other it was part of the job description, so get over it. "Hmmm? Whoever said I needed anything from you?" he drawled, a challenge in glint in his dark gaze. Some of his hand fell in front of one of his eyes, but the other held cold indifference. Oh yes, testing had begun.

"I'm the only one signed up for teaching in this area today, and I noticed you when I walked in. I doubt you'd stay here that long if you didn't want something from me. Watching cadets isn't fun." Allen replied. He didn't back down from Cage and returned his words with an equally dry tone "Unless you enjoy that kind of thing... but someone of your skill could be wasting their time doing something better." he waved a hand dismissively. His brown eyes flicked over Cage as he got a good look at the man. This was his first time seeing him and Allen wondered why exactly he had watched the session.
Whenever someone he didn't know took interest in him Allen always felt a twinge of anxiety. Did they know who he was? Were his roots not dyed correctly? Had someone dug up his past? All were questions that ran through his mind. Allen had to keep them reigned back and couldn't afford to show any of his internal worry on his face. He also had to ignore the urge to run his hand through his hair and run to the nearest bathroom to see if the red was showing.
He waited expectantly for the other to reply "I hope it won't take too long, I have some cleaning up to do. Even if they did make it into this course they're not made for the gun range." stray casings were laying around and the targets had gotten pretty torn up with stray shots. If one of the recruits had promise he'd have noted them down before they all left.

Cage couldn't help the deep chuckled that escaped him, as Allen brushed him off as if he were a mere annoyance. A bug on his shoulder even. He was glad that the other wanted to get to the point, no dancing around the subject. While that could be fun at times, this was not one of those times. Pressing his wandering thoughts away, he glanced at the field and nodded slightly before speaking seriously, "What you say is true, in multiple ways. You've caught the attention of the higher-ups, whether for good or bad... We shall see. As for now, I am to observe you for the foreseeable future. I won't be joining you on missions or anything like that, I am to watch you while you are here at the base and outside of... work."
Humming, Cage moved his gaze elsewhere. "Many have been noticed the last few years by the highest rank, so far none of have gotten my seal of approval, per say. Mayhap you will be the catalyst to that?" the assassin wondered aloud, more to himself than Allen. Then shrugging such thoughts away, he looked back at Allen and gave a warm smile, one that barely reached his dark, seemingly black, eyes. The slightest bit of warmth was an indication of his anticipation of this assignment.
Once all that was conveyed, Cage stood there watching Allen and waiting patiently for a response. If he decided to give one that is.

Allen had to be very careful with how he reacted next. This was the perfect chance to get closer to the person that killed his family, to finally get his revenge after all these years. Shrugging casually Allen said "Alright, knock yourself out. But I can guarantee all of those reports are true. I'm great." his placed a hand on his chest earnestly before turning on his heel to walked over and start the clean up. If he left the place a mess the next instructor would be mad. And Allen didn't have time to deal with that so cleaning up was his best option.
He started with the stray shells and then moved to the paper targets. Allen took down each one and stacked them up in his other arm, taking a few moments to look the target over. Each one had a single bullet through the center from his earlier demonstration and he smirked. Only a few stray bullets had gotten close to his. Once he was finished patting his own back he dumped the targets and moved onto making sure all the guns were unloaded and put away.
It didn't take long at all for him to get done with this. Half of his attention was also focused on the assassin who was watching him "So, what's your name?" he finally asked "You obviously know who I am. But if you're going to be hanging around I should know your name." Allen needed a name if he was going to be looking into this person. Even if he couldn't find anything archived, he could always ask others about it. Allen rarely knew people that were higher than him unless they were people of interest to his case. He was usually much more self centered.

βIβm great.β His easy and confident reply echoed throughout Cageβs mind he smirked. βWell, you certainly donβt lack pride in yourself,β he muttered, in amusement. While others would probably get offended or challenge the male to see if his pride equaled his actual skill, Cage did not see the point in that. Either Cage would be right or wrong, either way it mattered not. To observe Allen was to put up with and move past, on everything he did or said. Much easier than what people gave credit to.
Watching the male silently as he gathered the casings, checked the trainees' handiwork, and admire his own handiwork, Cage found himself intrigued. From his point of view, Allenβs skill was admirable. The assassin definitely passed the mark when it came to his skill with weaponry. However, now he needed to really watch and listen to everything he said and did with others. That is where many fell short.
While many could manipulate their ways around fairly easily, there was always a limit. Always a catch. If they couldnβt truly keep themselves together no matter the situation then they had no chance with the true master assassins.
Cageβs attention darted from his inner thoughts to Allen, as he spoke. His name, huh? Well, that meant he did not focus very much attention on others higher up. Not exactly wise. βYou make a point. Itβs Cage,β he replied with a careless shrug. βSo, what are you up to next? Now that clean up is done.β

Allen nodded and made sure to memorize his name to his face. He always sucked at remembering names so he had to put in time if he wanted to actually remember someone. At Cages next question Allen took a moment to think before saying "Probably lunch I guess." the class had ended around noon, so Allen was getting hungry "I didn't have much else planned today." he had just gotten back from a job, and said job had ended earlier than expected. So today was basically a free day for him. He'd actually only taken up the class because he had so much free time today.
"After that... well I haven't planned that far ahead." Allen had just said Cage had better things to do, only to have nothing better to do himself. It was hypocritical but Allen refused to think about that any longer and instead walked over to his bag and tossed it over his shoulder. He didn't wait to see if Cage followed him out of the room, assuming the other assassin would.
Cage, from Allens point of view, looked like he knew what he was doing. If he had been sent by the higher ups he was probably more skilled than Allen. And he was attractive. Not that Allen cared, but his competitive nature forced him to look at every part of a person. Their skills, looks, etc. Not to mention there were a fair amount of assassins who weren't attractive. Danger came with the job description and with danger came ugly injuries. Allen had met at least four different people who were missing parts of their face after getting caught in a dangerous situation.
Allen was careful and stayed far away enough to have avoided getting any bad injuries. Was that cowardly? Perhaps.

Cage snorted to himself as he listened to the others last few words, hypocritical indeed. Oh well. Shaking his head he silently followed his fellow assassin, thinking over who he was going to continue about this. He could go the silent route, only speaking when addressed but... That was so very cliche and not to mention but most importantly, boring! Crossing that route from his idea list, he decided he would press for information instead. Much more fun that way.
As they entered the base cafeteria he couldn't help was grimace. Sitting not too far from where they stood a group of higher rank assassin sat chatting away, carelessly. Much to his chagrin, as if on cue, one of the senior glanced Cage and Allen's way and smirked widely. "Cage! Come eat with us!" he called over, all cheer. "We want to hear all about your assignment being the Head's personal maid- ah, guard," the senior assassin, Gerald snarked.
Sighing, he pinched his nose and then flipped Gerald off before grabbing Allen's wrist and dragging him out of the cafeteria. Not caring at all about whether Allen liked this or not, Cage kept a steel grip on the other's wrist.

Allen was thinking the same thing, and was just about to start up conversation when his new partner was called out from a table nearby. And what was said caught his attention. His head snapped towards the conversation so fast he could have gotten whiplash. Cage knew the Head? This was the chance of a life time. If he could get close to Cage, that meant he could get close to the Head. The one person he had gone through all of this training and time for. The reason he had killed so many people. Granted, he found that it hadn't bothered him as much as it would.
When he finally dug himself out of his thoughts he found himself getting dragged out of the cafeteria. Allen could tell the iron grip on his wrist wasn't going away even if he tried so instead he asked "Where are we going? I didn't think an assassin was the type to run when called out." was he not happy with his post? Could Allen turn Cage against the Head? If he had a partner in crime, so to speak, it would make his job a lot easier.
Even being in the higher ranks you knew that they were talented and deadly. If Cage had the job of protecting the Head that meant his skills were of the best. It opened Allens eyes a bit. Even if he was prideful and egotistical Allen knew when someone was strong. Usually that led to him challenging or trying to become better. However that also meant he was much more careful around them.

Snorting, Cage finally released Allen's wrist and scowled as he resisted the urge to kick something. "Or better yet, slaughter Gerald and his freaking cronies!" he snarled to himself, flexing his hands in an attempt to not reach for his dagger on his hip. As he paced, he processed Allen's words and he spun towards him, growling. "I suggest you watch what you say very carefully in my presence as of now!" he hissed, black eyes flashing with rage. Letting loose a long range of colorful language, he suddenly turned towards the nearest brick wall and promptly punched it multiple times.
Cage hated being called out about his job, he hated how they taunted him for a position he did not wish to have. The assassin always held his opinion about the Head to himself, he'd probably be called a traitor if he truly spoke his mind.
Breathing heavily, suddenly an eery calm fell over Cage and he stepped back from the wall. Straightening, he turned to face Allen and smiled. "I'd call 'running' a strategic retreat. Now, you still hungry? I am. Let's go," he said cheerfully. Spinning on his heel he headed back towards the cafeteria.

"That was quite the meltdown." Allen said, mostly to himself. There must be some history there, and some bad history at that. Cage up until this point had been calm. Allen was going to have to watch for things like that if they were going to be spending more in the same area as Cage watched him. "Hopefully they'll have something good today." deciding to drop the topic he focused on their original task. Yesterday that cafeteria hadn't had anything he liked.
Allen was petty like that. Once they entered again, Allen quickly made his way over to grab some food. He had rewritten a lot of his rich upbringing, but having nice food was something he'd never been able to stop. If the food wasn't well made or delicious he was kind of childish about eating it. It may be more expensive, but he didn't care.
He settled for something light and simple with a dessert. Allen also liked sweet food, but what could you do.

Cage's lips twitched at Allen's words, but he chose to not comment on it. Yeah, he'd had quite the tantrum and he was rather embarrassed by it. But even he exploded at times.
Arriving back at the cafeteria he spotted the group once more but then stubborn ignored them as he went for food. Gathering a sandwich, small salad, and a glass bottle of Pepsi he followed Allen to where they would sit and sat down. Mutely he began to eat thinking of what to say next. βListen, sorry for snapping at you. There was no reason for it,β he said with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his neck.

Allen was sipping at the drink he had got when Cage spoke up. Swallowing the water he said "It's whatever, everyone has their days. Those guys must be pretty irritating." now Allen vaguely wondered which Cage was the real Cage. The angry, snapping one or the polite and seemingly pretty friendly one he sat in front of now. Either way Allen planned on getting closer to him. Cage might be the only person who knew where the Head was. He had no doubt in his mind that he'd impress the other enough to get into the higher ranks, but until know he hadn't had a concrete plan for finding the Head. Now he did and he wasn't about to be chased off by a temper.
"So what exactly are you watching me for?" he asked, wanting to keep the conversation going "My track record should be more than enough for you to rank me up." there's that pride again "Is it a trust thing? Or maybe you haven't heard of me." that being said, Allen knew he wasn't the most outstanding assassin around. However he had been rising in the ranks quickly and often took on some crazy cases.
Pretty much doing anything he could to get attention. For his own ego as well as drawing the eyes of the higher ups. If he weren't a disaster with almost every other weapon than a gun he might already be there. The Head however would take some time to either get information on, or even know who are where they were. Even if he had been a genius it would have taken long.

Cage grunted at the maleβs rather loud and proud view of himself, heβd come across many who found themselves the very best at what they did and it always never ceased to amaze him. Oh, he was good alright. Reports say enough about that. But the best? Not yet, not even close in some areas. Well, he let them believe what they will because eventually if they are truly driven they will be the best, if notβ¦ If they crash and burn well, that is not his problem.
βWatching you for? Hmm, how about you guess? Entertainment for the both of us,β he drawled, eyes twinkling merrily. Placing his hands on the table, his fingers drummed happily against it. Tilting his head to one side, much like a begging puppy he beamed.

"Couldn't you be doing something better with your time?" he asked before quickly snapping his mouth shut. Allen needed this guy on his side if he were going to get close to the Head "Well, either way I suppose I'll just do what I normally do. I'm sure you'll be happy to accept me into the higher ranks. Though I must admit my life isn't all that entertaining. So you might be bored." even if he was a grossly over dramatic and prideful person his day to day life honestly was not that fun. It consisted of a lot of training, teaching, and planning for future jobs.

Cage snorted with hesitation at the assassin's first words. Blunt. "Of course I could be doing something better than this. But this is the assignment tasked to me. Unlike certain fools, I don't go against my orders. No matter how awfully dull they may be," he said dryly. Glancing around the bustling cafeteria Cage hummed. "So, wanna do something not horribly boring like training?" he offered his fellow assassin, a smile, which could only be described as evil touched his lips.

"Sure, I'd be up to go to the shooting range." training for Allen was done strictly at the shooting range. He was absolutely terrible everywhere else. It was just his luck that an assassin could specialize and still climb the ranks "There's usually not that many people there after lunch. Normal people like to take breaks after they eat." there would still be some, but for the most part after a meal was the best time to get some free space for training.

"Well, let's get going then. Hopefully, we can get awake from the nuisances," he declared before turning and strolling... in the wrong direction. He paused after a few steps and turned towards Allen with a frown. "So, where is the shooting range anyway?" he asked, head tilted to the side like a curious puppy.
