Jason raised his eyebrows up slightly in amusement. “You would bite me? Why? Maybe you’re hoping I’d still taste like chocolate.” He stated with a smirk as he stood up, carrying the two washcloths and placing them in a clothes hamper. “Why would he say anything? We’re friends, hanging out, eating cupcakes. There’s nothing he should be concerned about amyway, right?” He asked as he made his way back to the bed, sitting on the edge of it as he looked at Annabelle. ”I meant that he might get mad if you tried to lick me.” She clarified, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “You know how protective he is, he might think you were trying to make a move on me or something.” Annabelle was only teasing him, flashing him a small grin as she began picking out dried bits of icing from her hair. “You’re right, we are friends. Somehow. I vaguely remember always following you around after you and Bash became Parabatai. You always said I was annoying, so what has finally made you enjoy my company? What’s changed?” - sorry for the shorter reply I have a sleeping baby on me and I’m typing with one hand xD -

"I was willing to share the vanilla ones, not chocolate. You just misunderstood me." When Annabelle first met him she was immediently smitten, always trying to jump in on whatever the boys were doing or eagerly waiting by the Institute door for them to come back from a mission just so they could tell her about it. Once Adeline had arrived though she changed, she left them alone almost completely and soon her little school girl crush faded. It seemed the adoration Annabelle had once had for the Shadowhunter sitting in front of her was making its return, although she wasn't quite sure how to deal with what she was feeling. Not long before the Dark War during one of their many girl talks, she had mentioned to Adeline about Jason being off limits, how he was nothing more than Bash's friend. In fact, she had even tried to push her parabatai towards him instead which was a pointless effort, but she had tried. Smiling she held out a piece of her long, dark hair she started picking at a larger clump that was being stubborn. "I'll promise to share with you from now on if you promise to never smear any other kind of food in my face again. Especially something with icing on it, icing is too messy." Furrowing her brows she let out a small sigh, letting the hair fall from her fingers in defeat.

"I suppose four or five years." Teagan explained crossing her arms over her chest. "Being the leader has it's ups and downs. Certain wolves want to cause trouble." She sighed running her hand through her blonde hair. So far, everyone was staying in line.

"Sure." Teagan said noticing more mundanes than usual. She glanced back and sees the warlock and another mundane working hard to get their orders. "My meal may take a while to make anyway."

Jason smiled softly as he finished getting the icing out of her hair. “There we go.” He remarked as he stood up again and placed the cloth with the other one. Jason then walked over to the window, peering out of it, looking at the outside world. “Demon ichor is some pretty messy stuff.” He agreed as he squinted his eyes, looking at someone walking. “I think that’s Sebastian.” Jason said before walking towards Annabelle. “I’m gonna see if he needs any help with anything, hey...” Jason placed a hand in her shoulder “... this was fun, we should do it more often, maybe skip the icing all over the place part though.” He chuckled and turned to leave. He looked at her over his shoulder as he walked out the door, giving Annabelle a small wave with her hand, before heading towards the main door of the institute, planning on meeting Sebastian there.

Bash simply shrugged, not denying that he hadn’t been paying attention. “It wasn’t a complete waste of time for once, surprisingly. “ He had made a promise to Aurora not to tell anyone about her and her siblings, so he left it at that. He would tell Jason about her eventually, but he didn’t think that it was so dire that couldn’t wait another day or even just a few hours. “Well yes, there’s always paperwork, but no. I figured I’d just pull a coffee-fueled all nighter tonight and get it done. I could do some training though.” He had been neglecting most of his training as of late since he was always holed up in his office, so he didn’t doubt he would get wrecked by Jason within the next hour or so. His eyes brightened at the mention of cupcakes, “I’ll save them for later then, thanks. I just need to drop this stuff off in the office and change and I’ll meet you in the training room?”

Sienna Highfire ~ In the cafe, with Teagan (Hawkeyes258 )
Teagan raised an eyebrow, curious about what kinds of foods a werewolf would order that would require an extended amount of time to prepare, but she didn't pry into it, instead just nodding and gesturing for Teagan to follow her to the table she'd claimed. She slipped into her chair, running a hand through her hair to dislodge some of the tangled strands left over from when she'd worn a braid, and pushed aside the newspaper she'd been perusing. "Sometimes I come by here and pick up a Mundane newspaper. Most of it isn't very interesting, but there are other things that jump out at me every once in a while that hint at possible supernatural occurrences, so I tend to take note on those," she explained, tucking a cell phone into her pocket that she'd had open to a notes application in case anything exciting showed up on the news.

Adeline smiled at the cashier as he handed her the two bags off the counter. She hadn’t bought much, only a few vegetables and some smaller things like vanilla extract. When she had been in the kitchen earlier she noticed they’re fridge was running a little low so she decided to get a few things while she had the time. Pushing open the glass door the night air greeted her, a small breeze lifting her pale blonde hair slightly as she walked along the sidewalk. She didn’t mean to stay out for so long, but she often got lost walking through the isles of mundane grocery stores. They were too big for her to remember where everything was and sometimes the half faerie girl wasn’t the best with directions. A small shiver passed through her making the girl pull up the hood of her thin hoodie, casting her eyes downwards as she passed by mundanes every now and then. The streets of Seattle weren’t too crowded yet, though she had chosen one of the lesser known stores in hopes to avoid as much mundane attention as possible. Her fair appearance always seemed to turn heads whether her ears shown or not and she always hated the attention. The vampire male had been walking for a while and had drank a bit of blood from mundanes here and there. One of them was intoxicated which made him spit the blood out almost immediately, he was not wishing to become addicted to alcoholics today thank you very much. He considered what he was going to do for the night but nothing really seemed to interest him. Why had he trusted the werewolf with his sadness, bitterness and fears? He was supposed to hate werewolves, they are the enemy of vampires. Then again he'd never had been a normal vampire as Sage had pointed out. He had kept his morals and actually some humanity even after being more than a century old. As he was lost in his thoughts he did not see the Shadowhunter and accidentily walked into her. Reacting quicker than most mundane he would steady her and her groceries if anything would have happened. "My apologies." His accent was distinctly British.

Jason raised his eyebrows up in curiosity, wondering what Bash was talking about, but decided not to pressure him if he didn’t want to say anything else about it. “I like coffee, so I might help you out with the paperwork. Adeline went shopping, I think. You could probably text her and ask if she could pick up some donuts, they really help during an all-nighter.” Jason stated, food was always on his mind. “Alright man, I’ll meet you there.” Jason said, patting Sebastian on the shoulder before heading towards his own room to change as well.

Adeline let out a small squeal in surprise, stumbling backwards for a moment as she struggled to regain her balance. “Oh! I-I’m sorry!” In truth she hadn’t been paying much attention to where she was going either; the faerie girl’s mind had been wandering as it often did when she was alone, thinking of a thousand things all at once. It took her a moment to come to her senses, the man’s slight accent grabbing her attention as he spoke. Adeline was quiet for a moment as she looked him over, “I would ask if you’re alright, but I don’t really need to do I?” It was more of an observation than a question, referring to the fact that he was a vampire. She didn’t mean for it to sound rude or anything, she was just sort of awkward when it came to talking to new people at times.

Sebastian nodded, making note to text her soon. “Give me ten minutes tops.” As Jason walked away Bash entered the office, enjoying the comfort the small room brought him. He walked to the old, worn out wooden desk across the room and sat the plastic grocery back down on its faded surface, taking not of the plate of cupcakes waiting for him. I’d better wait, might need them tonight. Shrugging off his coat he tossed it on the back of his desk chair before exiting the room, making sure to close the door behind him as he always did. His own room wasn’t too terribly far away as he had changed bedrooms to be closer to the office after taking over as head of the institute, though it felt like ages had passed as he wandered through the empty halls. Once he arrived the Shadowhunter quickly changed into a pair of old, worn out black sweatpants and an equally faded gray tank top - his go-to set of work clothes. Tossing the clothes he had been wearing earlier into a nearby hamper he left the room and began the lonely walk to the training room, listening to the sound of his footsteps echo throughout the halls.

He had a good feeling of what she was as soon as she said that. "No...I do not suppose you do. Unless you are fearful of the shadows." The male said shadows as a reference to her possibly being a Shadowhunter, he had never but up close to one like this before. "And in my time ladies had a bit more manners but I think I will let it slide as times have changed since the late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds. Ladies have become far more independent and I do congratulate them as it took a lot of courage and risk." He truly did think it was amazing that woman became far more independent. "My mother would of been happy to have seen how independent woman are now but I'm afraid she died over half a century ago...I do miss her."

oreosღ I’m not gonna lie, I was going to have Jason change into that exact same outfit lol, same colors and everything
And Welcome Nightwisher XD)
Jason walked into his own room, shuting the door behind him as he entered. He went to his closet, pulling out a grey tank top and tossing it on the bed. He then went to his dresser, grabbing a pair of black sweatpants, setting them besides the shirt. Jason took off his old clothes, tossing them into a clothes hamper, before pulling on the sweatpants and tank top. Jason grabbed a pair of tennis shoes, slipping them on before looking at himself in the mirror. “Dressed to impress, or I guess kick your best friends butt.” He said to himself before turning away from the mirror, grabbing his weapons and carrying them in his hands, just in case he wants to do some blade training, of course not on Sebastian. Jason walked down the hall, walked down a few flight of stairs, and turned into the doorway of the training room. “I’m in charge for awhile now, Bash. I’ll make you train and workout till you drop.” He said smirking.

- Yes that’s fine! And feel free to take your time ^.^ - “The only thing I’m fearful of is the clave if I’m being quite honest with you.” The last time Adeline had been around vampires was about a year ago when she was helping do a little damage control when one went rouge, although the man in front of her didn’t seem to be on any sort of blood lust filled rampage through the streets. “And I didn’t mean to be rude I’m just...” She let out a small sigh as she shook her head slightly, “Nevermind. Sorry.” Being a shy, awkward Shadowhunter wasn’t something most would go around bragging about, and she didn’t want the man in front of her believing she was just some nervous little girl running around on her own. “I’m sorry to hear that. I miss my mother too, though I don’t have very many memories of her. I spent most of my childhood around my father until he left me here.” She felt her hood slide backwards as she talked, falling from her head and hitting her shoulder blades softly. Her pale blond hair seemed nearly silver in the combined light from the moon and the street lights around them, the light breeze blowing just enough to reveal the pointed tip of one of her ears that the girl always tried to keep hidden. The male frowned for a moment. "Personally I don't care about the Clave. I try my best to live mundane as much as I can though then again I do have to drink from mundanes at some point or I will die." Maybe not die immediately but he would get to the point he was too weak to defend himself if it came down to it. Noticing the pointed ear he smiled for a moment. "You are half fae...how remarkable that someone like you became a Shadowhunter. Then again you seem like you could hold your own in a fight." He truly was impressed but a century of living dulls your emotions to the point where you don't seem sincere anymore. Of course he may not entirely have been but that's not the point. "Do you enjoy the sun? I used to before I was bitten one night when I was walking outside with my little sister. I was eighteen at the time...and as time went she got older and I stayed looking and being eighteen. I was with her when she took her final breath...I begged her to let me turn her but she said she would rather die and be with our mother again, I told her I would stay with her until morning so I would die with her but she told me no, go live for both of us. She was the only one in my family who ever still saw me the same. I was always her big brother even when she became older." His voice when he told her that held bitterness, he was well aware the vampire that turned him was still alive somewhere and he wanted them dead, so dead that they could never ruin someone else's life as they had his. "Maybe you could help me find the one who turned me...and help me kill them before they ruin more lives. I can even pay you to help me. What do you say?"
