(I've been tagged! Ye I'm off and on depending on my school work load and meetings and stuff. I'm at the end of my semester going into finals and I just declared a major so I had to do a senior audit, plan my summer and fall terms, find a job, look for housing, etc. I have a job and my classes are all set up so hopefully my stress levels go down a bit but I do still have three papers to write and finals to look forward too plus try not to fail my research class lol so I'm just hanging in there. I have some time now so I'll get up some responses/starters and update the front page with new characters. patchtail you're accepted! Feel free to rp.)
"Maybe you should try playing a new game?" Forestkit suggested, resting her forelegs on the edge of her nest. "You can even make one up, if you want, though it's kinda crowded in here..." She glanced around. With the addition of Poppycurl and Silvershadow and their kits, there wasn't a lot of space to play in the nursery anymore.
Pheasantheart slipped out of the warriors' den with a yawn, arching her back in a brief stretch before sitting down to groom her thin fur. The camp was abuzz again with quiet talk and rumors with the acceptance of Silvershadow into the Clan, a decision that her mother pointedly seemed okay with despite her dislike of Poppycurl. She sighed; just her luck that right when the drama around her bringing back Poppycurl had died down, someone else had to rear their head. Still, it meant Robinfall had other things to worry about other than scolding her, so there was that, at least.

(Hello everyone!)
Frozenstar pushed into camp, carrying a good sized bird in his jaws. For the large white tom, a bird was difficult prey to catch. He supposed he had needed some time to hunt and to clear his mind. He had become so distracted at times, remembering lost ones, trying to make sense of the possability of Flashclan returning. He placed the bird down gently on the prey pile.
Lynxstorm looked around for his apprentice.
Acorntail and Dragonfire were quietly and heatedly discussing something, the two senior warrior siblings seeming to be arguing over something.

(Hey Moon! Harepaw and Thornpaw are out with Roselight atm, you can tp Lynxstorm there if you like! Speaking of which I forgot to do Rose's reply lol, better add it here.)
Roselight watched the apprentices for a moment longer before moving in a different direction, wanting to catch something of her own as well. She picked up the scent of bird, pleased; birding had always been one of her strengths. She tracked the feathered creature to its tree, where it sat on a low-hanging branch. She approached it from the opposite side of the tree, claws digging silently into the bark as she swiftly and gracefully climbed up to meet it. She'd done this a thousand times before, and her movements were well-practiced, her pawsteps barely shaking the branch as all as she stepped onto it. She pounced in a flash, not giving the bird much time to react as she caught it, squawking, by the wing and dragged it back down from where it was trying to escape into the sky. She killed it with a swift bite, quite proud of the clean catch.
Stormfeather spotted Dragonfire and Acorntail talking quietly, making his way over to his mate and her brother. "What are you two talking so intensely about?" he asked with a smile, light-hearted. He took a seat next to Acorntail.

(Awesome thank you! I understand your busyness! I didn’t mean to sound pushy or anything ) Smokenose and Crowtalon sat together near the warriors den sharing a mouse, speaking to one another Smokenose’s voice was much louder than Crowtalon due to her much more energetic personality. Crowtalon glanced across camp looking like he was ignoring his sister. Lester moved out of the old barn with a yawn, glancing around the twoleg barn he made his way over to the fence to see if anyone was near the forest line

He took a seat next to Acorntail. (Ok!) Lynxstorm stood near Roselight, monitering his own apprentice’s actions carefully. He glanced over as the other warrior moved to hunt a bird of her own. His paws twitched, but he decided to remain in place to keep watch over the apprentices. Acorntail gave a look of light relief, moving to press her muzzle gently to her mate’s. She scowled lightly at her brother as she mewed. “Dragonfire here says we should fight off Flashclan if they return, but I think we should give them a chance...” “No, I said we should be ready to fight them off in nessecary. If they even come back.” Dragonfire sighed with a roll of his eyes, looking at his highly compassionate yet often too kind sister.

Lester jumped up onto the fence stretching as he walked to the thicker post, he glanced out across the field, his stomach growled reminding him he had to eat at some point. As he looked on he saw something moving across the field and flicked his ears, looking around he spotted someone at the tree line and watched it closing, wondering why it wasn’t chasing the mouse just on the other side of the tree line.

Lester watched the white cat soon run across and catch the critter in the field, he scented the air as the wind pushed the other cat’s scent toward him “hmm one of the clan cats the passerbys told me about” he mumbled to himself thinking about weither to make contact or not. After a few heartbeats he jumped down and snuck his way across the field ‘well that mouse is on my turf’ he thought as he soon was only fox lengths away from the other cat he stopped and looked at her

Lester stayed where he was flicking his ears he nodded slightly “and you must be a clan cat that others have told me about” he meowed glancing the white she-cat over before looking down at the mouse “you came out of the forest for a mouse?” He asked his voice stern but not too stern

Shrinking slightly, Cloudstep nodded slowly. "I-I was tracking it and it and I thought it was on our territory, but it wasn't, so I was going to leave it alone, but it moved and--" She suddenly stopped, feeling her pelt heat up. She gave her chest fur a few embarrassed licks. Why was she explaining herself to some barn cat, and why was she so nervous? "I suppose you can take the mouse," she murmured. "After all, this isn't our territory. I'm sorry." She dipped her head apologetically, trying not to sound as nervous as she felt.

Lester blinked and tilted his head a little confused by her name “that’s a weird name” he whispered as the she-cat spoke about getting back to the others and shouldn’t be here, he snapped back to reality as he saw her leaving. Lester watched as she headed back to the tree line, he wanted to speak again but wasn’t sure what to say after she was almost to the tree line he took a few steps closer toward the edge of the field then spoke “maybe sometime if you see me out here again can tell me a little bit more about how you live out there?” He asked a bit of curiousness shown through his voice this time

Lester waiting until the clan cat’s white fur disappeared into the green forest and out of sight before giving a small smile ‘it was nice to talk to someone again for once’ he thought as he looked back towards the fence and the barn. He shook his head to clear his thoughts as he headed back across the field to the fence before returning to his post on the fence relaxing, forgetting about his stomach that growled once more at him
Smokenose was out in the forest making her way towards the southern border to check the borders and hunt when she almost collided with Cloudstep “woah cloudstep” she laughed her bubbly personality showing

Thornpaw blinked incredulously at his denmate, surprised by her bold idea. He looked up at the tree and gulped, his eyes wide. "Uh, a-alright," he agreed hesitantly. He was already cursing himself for going along with it, but he didn't want to squash Harepaw's excitement. Great StarClan, I hate heights. He grimaced and took a moment to breathe, swallowing as much of his fears as he could, and then approached the tree carefully. He hooked his claws into the bark and glanced briefly over at Harepaw. "If I fall and die, I'm coming back to bug you every minute of every day," he whisper-hissed, trying to offer Harepaw some form of grin that likely came out lopsided and stupid-looking. He began to climb slowly, his legs trembling with the effort of pulling himself up inch by inch, desperately trying not to look down so he wouldn't lose his cool. Stop being such a scaredy-mouse, Thornpaw, the voice in his head spat, you've got this. He kept his eyes fixated on his target: a branch just above the bird that was thick enough - hopefully - for him to balance on. When he reached the branch, he dug his claws into the bark hard, briefly sparing the bird a glance to check its position, but even looking down for such a minuscule amount of time made him feel a little queasy.

Cloudstep jumped in surprise, dropping the mouse she had been holding. "Smokenose!" she exclaimed, her fur fluffed up and ruffled and her eyes wide. As soon as she recognized her clanmate, her fur laid flat and she let out a sigh of relief. "S-sorry," the she-cat murmured. "I didn't scare away any prey you were tracking, did I?"
Harepaw smiled in response and let out a quiet laugh. "I'll hold you to that," she teased before bunching her haunches and leaping her way up the opposite tree. She dragged herself up to the branch she wanted and walked along to the edge. Her tail waved as she focused her eyes on the blackbird, forcing her tail not to wave behind her. Her gaze lifted slightly to look at Thornpaw and she offered the tom an encouraging nod. We can do this! Harepaw felt her heart pounding in her chest as she met Thornpaw's eyes. The tom seemed so brave and courageous, and she admitted she admired him a great deal. She realized her mind was wandering and felt her pelt grow hot with embarrassment. Pay attention! she scolded herself, looking back at the bird below.

Smokenose shook her head “nah I was just going to do a quick sweep of the southern border before I decided to hunt anything” she chuckled “did I scare you? Looks like you just seen starclan!”. Smokenose smiled and flicked her tail across Clousteps shoulder

(Yeah, I've got Tangletail and Leafscar both open! ^^ Oh my gosh Harepaw is so cute I might cry)
Admittedly, Thornpaw felt a lot better with Harepaw in the opposite tree. He didn't quite know why, but as he met his denmate's eyes and offered her a sheepish, slightly awkward grin, he felt considerably less nauseous. He bunched his haunches, not releasing his grip on the branch in the slightest - mostly out of fear - and prepared to spring at the bird. It's just a little jump, mousebrain, he encouraged himself, closing his eyes so he could calm his nerves. Harepaw had told him to jump first, so that in case he missed, she could cover his tail. One, two...three! He forced his eyes open and leaped, claws outstretched, for the blackbird below. Unsurprisingly, the realisation that he was so high up with nothing to balance on hit him with the force of a whole badger den, and he panicked, reaching out for the branch rather than the bird. He collided with the branch with a loud thud, shaking what felt like the entire tree, and of course the bird squawked and took flight. Clinging onto the branch for dear life with his front legs, his hind legs and tail dangled uselessly in the air; he tried to let go with one paw to swipe at the bird before it flew out of reach, but he missed by a whisker's breadth and the bird began to ascend. C'mon Harepaw, jump! He silently willed his denmate, eyes round as he stared up at where she crouched.

(i'm very glad you like her!!!!! c: )
"A-A bit, yes... Sorry..." Cloudstep wasn't sure why she was apologizing, but she was still reeling from the interaction she had with the strange barn cat, Lester. "I should probably gather my prey and get back to camp. Would you like to join me?"
Harepaw watched Thornpaw uneasily, almost sure he was about to fall out of the tree. As soon as she saw him catch himself, her eyes locked on the ascending blackbird and she sprang into action. Quick as ever, Harepaw dashed along the branch and leaped, soaring a mouse length higher than the bird. Just as she had hoped, she had jumped just in time to catch the creature between her paws. However, she had been so focused on catching the bird that she hadn't planned her landing. With a squeak of alarm, the tiny apprentice flew into the next tree and barreled directly into the trunk. Too stunned to catch herself, she found herself dropping down into the next branch before she finally realized what was happening and grabbed onto the bark. With a sigh of relief, Harepaw pulled herself up onto the branch and shook her pelt. When she looked down below her, she saw the blackbird lying still on the forest floor. I guess I crushed it when I fell... "W-Well, we caught it!" she exclaimed with a nervous laugh.

(I adore her uwu and so does Thornpaw from the sounds of it hehe)
Thornpaw heaved his back legs up onto the branch and clung to it tightly, staring owlishly up at Harepaw where she had landed nearby. His chest had seized with panic when she'd collided with the trunk, and he had been ready to leap into action in case she fell any further than she had done, but when she'd crawled to safety he'd breathed a massive sigh of relief. "You okay?" he called out, his voice heavy with concern, "That was some fall." He slowly made his way towards the trunk of his tree and dug his claws in as much as he could, slowly descending til he reached the sweet safety of solid ground beneath his paws. He approached the blackbird and gave it a sniff, nosing at the ebony feathers. "Yeah, it's dead!" he called up to Harepaw, pricking his ears in anticipation for her response, "I can't believe you snagged it even after I messed up, that was actually pretty cool."
