Cinnamonfleck - 37 Moons - Male - Future Rank: Warrior - A large, well-muscled tom with a dark ginger-brown coat with dark brown flecks dispersed in his fur. He has deep green eyes with a hollow look to them that just make you feel sorry for him. His face and ears bear a multitude of scars, as well as his chest and flank. His muzzle and paws are darker than the rest of his body, matching the flecks in his pelt. This tom is very reserved and shy, almost too shy for someone who looks so intimidating. It's not that he doesn't like company, he just feels like he doesn't deserve it. He feels very deeply and when he does something he regrets, it affects him. He is afraid to get close to anyone else, but doesn't mind helping out and likes to assist Beesplash with the order of things. He is especially good with younger clanmates, given how patient he can be. Despite his timid demeanor, you had better watch out if you ever wrong him. He knows how to be scary when needed. Cinnamonfleck once had a mate, Sparkblossom, who he loved very deeply and spent nearly every passing second with her if possible. However, she became adamant that he should become the next deputy when it was time to chose a new one. She was very disappointed when he wasn't chosen. Cinnamonfleck was well aware of his mate's growing distaste for the way BrackenClan worked. She would constantly complain about how nothing was fair or comfortable for her, how wrong the leader was to choose the deputy over her mate. Cinnamonfleck would ignore her, as he never agreed with her, but deep down it was making him very uneasy. He knew something was up when Sparkblossom frequently disappeared during the night to go off who knows where. He never told her that he knew she left when they were supposed to be sleeping. When that fateful day approached, where FlareClan would split off and weaken BrackenClan, he knew that his mate would want him to come with her. To her surprise, Cinnamonfleck refused. He was deeply hurt by her betrayal of him and his Clan. In a rage, Sparkblossom vowed that if they ever met again, she would slaughter him right then and there. Things would turn out differently for her. On the day of the final battle, Cinnamonfleck and Sparkblossom met face-to-face as the fighting increased. Driven by anger and hurt, Cinnamonfleck was the one to kill his former mate. At first, he didn't realize what he had done, but that day would haunt him for the rest of his life. He still loved her, even though she betrayed him in many ways. Sparkblossom was his former mate.
Scarlette - 20 moons - Female - Future Rank: Warrior - A gorgeous tabby Maine Coon with a fully-white chest and muzzle. Her eyes are a soft, eggshell blue, quite contrasting to her snobby attitude. She still wears the baby pink collar she was given while still a kittypet. Born to such prissy felines might be the cause of Scarlette's stuck-up nature. She is very prim and proper, though not exactly the nicest molly around. She seems to think she is better than everyone else. She tends to take advantage of other's weaknesses and cut them down, however she becomes hypocritical when she is hurt if someone teases her. Despite her rude personality, she understands what it's like to be lonely and unsure of the unknown and is a surprisingly good molly to get to know. Scarlette is the only daughter of Marilyn and Elvis, two kittypets owned by a wealthy, elderly couple. Given that they were aging, it was inevitable that they would pass soon. Scarlette was only four moons old when her Twolegs died, leaving the giant, empty mansion to the cats. Nobody wanted to buy it because it was starting to look run down. They continued to stay there for awhile until it was difficult to fend for themselves. The family of cats weren't used to not being provided with food and water daily. Her parents did their best, but eventually they took their daughter from the house and out into the Twoleg neighborhood. Perhaps someone would want to care for a lovely kitten like Scarlette? They abandoned her at a random home, where she was picked up by a Twoleg kit. Scarlette never saw her parents again. Her new owners, unfortunately, didn't exactly know how to care for a cat. They were already swamped with children of their own and didn't have time to care for the kitten. So, the Twoleg kits were in charge of Scarlette and she wasn't cared for that well. Eventually, when they accidentally left the door ajar, Scarlette was able to escape from her prison. By then, she was around eighteen moons old. Now she roams around, staying wherever she can to stay safe without being there permanently. She still searches for her parents, who were nowhere to be found when she checked her old home that was now occupied by more Twolegs. - Marilyn (NPC) and Elvis (NPC) are her missing parents.

Cinnamonfleck || open || Badger Set { ooc ;; sorry for disappearing yesterday, i got busy around the time i was accepted }
Being the eldest feline in the group, Cinnamonfleck had been up for most of the night keeping watch. With so many younger cats around, someone had to fend off possible danger. Especially since they were taking shelter in an abandoned badger set (though he wasn't too sure about how abandoned it really was). Another reason he chose not to rest with everyone else was recently, his dreams were becoming more intense and traumatizing lately. Ever since the battle, his slumber was never peaceful, but now the nightmares were growing worse. Cinnamonfleck wasn't sure why; maybe sleeping in a different nest was the culprit.
The massive ginger tom was now trying to settle down after a long, sleepless night, but wasn't having much success. Clearpaw and Riverpaw were busy muttering about something Cinnamonfleck wasn't listening too intently to, but their constant mumbling was beginning to irritate him. He just wanted to sleep. The feline rolled over onto his side to glare at the two with piercing green eyes. "Hush, you two," he growled. "I'm trying to sleep." Normally, he wouldn't be so harsh with two apprentices, but he was definitely not in a great mood.
Scarlette || open || Twoleg Place { ooc ;; n/a }
After taking refuge in some Twoleg's garden for the night, Scarlette was ready to get the heck out of there. Normally, she didn't mind the outdoors, but that particular place gave her the creeps. She would have left, but the sun was already below the horizon by the time she had sneaked into the half-dead garden. The molly didn't have the patience for getting chased by dogs or angry feral cats that night, so she decided her shelter was good enough. Now, Scarlette was deciding that today she would be adventurous. For the first time ever, she would travel past the Twoleg place and into the forest she had heard so much about. She had befriended a kittypet named Carla a few days back, who told her all about the rumors the woods held. The stories of wild cats who ate kittypet bones for lunch intrigued the normally dainty feline. She wasn't one for taking treks in the trees, she used to say, but now that her days have grown quite repetitive and dull, Scarlette was ready for something new.
The only thing stopping her was her parents still might be around. There have been reports of similar looking cats when the pretty Maine Coon asked around, but all of them were too vague for her to be sure. And, if her parents really wanted to see her again, they would have found her by now. Scarlette hadn't traveled too far from her old home after she ran away from the prison she was kept in.
Now Scarlette was trekking breezily in the woods, feeling quite carefree as she went along. Carla was wrong, she mused with her chin held confidently. This isn't bad at all. Then she heard a snap. The molly froze, all courage in her body fading. There was a rustling in the thicket behind her and Scarlette was not getting good vibes from the scent that hit her nose. With a growl, a large black-and-white creature emerged from the bushes, fixing its beady, hungry eyes on the helpless molly. "I was too confident," she whispered to herself while shaking in fear.

Beesplash looked over at Swift at his thoughtful words. She wasn't quite sure she agreed with him. In the end, his mother's clan was gone and so was BrackenClan. All that remained was FlareClan and in her opinion, it should have never even existed. The warrior gave a small nod. "That would be great. We don't intend to stay long. As soon as I'm able to find a proper place for us, we'll be out of your fur... But I have to ask, why are you offering us so much help?" (Yeah! Here was my last reply c: )

I feel like in a way, helping your clan is a way to help her find hers, even if she's gone."

"Of course." Swift replied, dipping his head magnanimously. "Im looking forward to meeting them." He blinked in a friendly manner before turning to enter the den.

Brightsplash had returned to the den by now, and had also scented the large badger. Without a second thought,the young mother planted herself between the den and the animal, snarling defiance at it as her natural protective instinct came out, refusing to let it any closer to her clanmates and kits.

Nodding quickly, the she-cat plunged into the den, raising the alarm "quick, get out! It's dangerous to be Here!" She howled, nudging at the apprentices while scooping up her kits, who let out squeaks of protest.

Scarlette || open || Forest { ooc ;; n/a }
Scarlette let out a terrified shriek as the badger charged at her, teeth bared in a snarl. Thinking fast, the molly turned tail and ran for her life, kicking up leaves as she went. Carla hadn't warned her of all the other possible dangers in the woods when they had conversed. Thanks for nothing, Scarlette thought furiously as she continued to sprint. She could feel the animal's hot breath on her tail and she had to pick up her pace in case it decided to snatch it right off.
Suddenly, a new smell hit her nose. Cats. Relief spread through her bones, but that vanished when she suddenly found herself facing a large number of petrified felines. One large, ginger tom shot up from where he was laying and roared, "Badger!" As if the rest hadn't smelled it already. This isn't going to be good, the former kittypet realized with a sickening feeling.
The group began to scatter as they tried to keep their youngest members safe while Scarlette skid to a halt to try and hide as well. She squeezed into a bush and watched as a calico molly began slashing at the raging predator. Scarlette's blue eyes were wide with awe; she'd never seen such bravery before. She waited until the she-cat began luring it away to finally slide out of the suffocating bush. Maybe she could leave without being noticed by the other cats.
Cinnamonfleck || open || Badger Set { ooc ;; n/a }
The older tom fell silent as he realized that the apprentices had a point. The scent of badger, as he had noticed before, was growing stronger. Actually, it was so strong right then, he wouldn't be surprised if one suddenly appeared right in front of them-
Cinnamonfleck's green eyes widened as what he predicted came true- a massive badger came bursting after what looked like to be a cat. He shot up out of his nest and yowled, "Badger!", then began assisting the others get to shelter. He rushed over to Brightsplash, making sure her kits were ok, then turned back to face the apprentices. "Stay with Brightsplash and the kits and make sure they stay safe. I'm going to help Beesplash." Without waiting for an answer, the tom dashed out of the den to find the calico battling the badger on her own. Snarling, he leaped at the animal with claws extended. Making sure he had grabbed its attention, he nodded to Beesplash and began to assist her in leading it away from the others. He barely noticed a strange pair of blue eyes following after them.
