Mika turned around quickly as he heard Robin's outburst. He didn't recognize him from any of his classes, nor did he recognize the girl next to him, though to be fair he didn't pay attention to the other students enough to learn faces or recognize anyone other than the teachers. He was fairly confused as it dawned on him he wasn't the only one in the building. There were other students here too. He hadn't run into any of them yet, but to be fair, it was a decent sized school. He still hadn't been to some areas, even when school was in session. He meant to give a hello, but he ended up rushing straight to his question. "How many more people are here?"

"Ugh!" Austin exclaimed at an embarrassingly loud tone, looking up and rubbing his forehead. Apparently, the bookshelf he decided to slumber under was prone to dropping books on his forehead as he slept. There goes my beauty sleep, he thought in exasperation, pushing his glasses onto his face and standing up with a stretch. Time for another incredibly lame day of being stuck in the worst place possible.

Riley hadn't been expecting Mika to notice him, which he should have known better, as he had been fairly loud. He was also taken aback by how sudden Mika's question was, but he answered regardless. "I'm not too sure. You're the only person we've seen so far."
Robin simply stood in silence with her arms crossed until something from inside the library caught her attention. Without any sort of warning, she slipped past Mika into the library and looked around, catching a glimpse of fallen books, and someone underneath them. "Found someone," she said, turning to Riley and Mika.

Mika gave a small nod at that, though he still looked a little cautious. He hadn't been looking for anyone, but perhaps there were other students here who were? They'd probably see them eventually if they were actively looking for anyone else. After another slight hesitation, he spoke. "I'm sorry, but I don't think we've spoken before this..." Robins words caused him to stop short and he turned his head to look to see who she'd found.

Hearing footsteps and voices, Austin turned just enough to face them and adjusted his glasses. "Hey, dudes. I thought I was stuck by myself in here!" A typical grin split across his face as he spoke casually, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment at the book scene they must have come across.

Riley gave Austin a small salute in greeting, his grin matching the other boy's. "Welcome to the club." He then looked over at Mika, responding to his earlier statement with a warm smile. "I don't think we have. I'm Riley, and that's Robin."
Robin, unamused with the actions of the pair, ignored Riley's introduction and wondered aloud, "How many others are here?"

Mika gave a small nod at Riley's answer. "Mika." He replied to introduce himself. He turned his head again at Robin's question. He had no answer, of course, but he wondered the same. Who else was here? Were there any teachers? Maybe they'd know if there were spare keys about?

Wynn “Wynnie” Da Rosa- 15 - Freshman - Female; she/her Being 5’1” isn’t easy for Wynn - it never was. She is, however, easy to pass over in a crowd due to it. Her straight, toffee brown hair is only slightly past her shoulders, giving her amber eyes a certain warmth against her pale skin. Her clothing wasn’t ever fancy, so she stuck to wearing simply a loose-fitting black tank top and jean shorts, along with a pair of mint flats. Wynn always had self-esteem issues ever since she was quite young - with average features only enhanceable with makeup, she never felt completely comfortable with herself. After she entered high school, though, she learned that she wasn’t the only person who felt that way, which helped. Despite this, Wynn is a happy-go-lucky kind of person, always trying to look on the bright side of things. Being a serious bookworm took its toll on her often, making her an introvert beyond normal levels. Wynn hopes be an editor someday, but she’s only a freshman, and no one ever takes her seriously. She tries to talk to everyone she meets, but somehow, almost anyone can intimidate her - she finds herself slowly backing out of the conversation, whether she wants to or not. If only everything was as easy as it was in the books. This didn’t stop her from hoping her fear would dissipate one day, and she’d swore to herself she’d work hard and make tons of friends. She had made a few, but she did wish she had someone close she could really confide in. Her cheerful attitude was what made her keep her childhood nickname Wynnie, a name she was told her mother used to call her. At home, it was just Wynn and her dad, ever since her mom left them. She was so young at the time, so it was impossible to really remember her, but her father made sure she never forgot. Her dad was also the one who taught her some kind of portuguese dialect - she may not look like her Portuguese father, but she is closer to him than anyone. As an only child, Wynn has to stick close to him. Wynn is single and has no crush at the moment. She is heterosexual, but still isn’t entirely sure what love is, never having experienced it before - but that isn’t to say she wouldn’t be willing to take a shot at something. - cookie★s
I hope this is alright? ))

"There's gotta be a bunch more people," he estimated, shoving his hands into his pockets coolly. "Ya know, since there's club cleanups, people who take forever to pack up and go home...I hope so, at least. If I gotta spend my whole summer by myself in this hellhole, I'll go crazy!"

This other guy had a point. He wasn't even part of any clubs and he'd ended up here long enough to get trapped. There had to be others stuck in here too. "We should comb the halls and make sure we get everyone together." He suggested. It made sense to him...

I started writing this character with the idea of making a girl who is stereotyped as shallow and dumb but really is a lot more, kind of like Lydia from Teen Wolf. But while I wrote my vision kind of changed and now I have fallen in love with Margot <3 It's really late so I think I have everything I want to write in here. I might edit it later on if I think of something.
Margot Jass - 17 - Junior - Female, she/her Margot is 5'4", a height that she enjoys as it allows her to wear heels without towering over boys. She has long, light blonde hair (not too long, about shoulder blade length) that she usually either curls so that it bounces around her shoulders, or pulls into a ponytail. Her eyes are a light blue. She always wears bright, fashionable, and occasionally not-so-school-appropriate clothing. Makeup-wise, she usually just wears lip gloss, mascara, and some glittery eye shadow. Margot is hot and is known to move from boy to boy, being utterly obsessed until she throws them away. Her father is a plastic surgeon and her mother is a psychiatrist, so Margot has grown up rich, spoiled, and utterly ignored by her parents. As a result she is carefree, bubbly, manipulative and obsessive. Margot is actually pretty nice, even though she seems kind of vicious from the outside. She is loyal to her friends and falls in love easily. That's the real reason why she goes from boy to boy- Margot often feels unloved or ignored and craves the passion and devotion of new relationships. Maybe if she could find a solid group of friends she would be happier. As for academics, Margot does okay. She usually appears quite air headed, but she's actually pretty smart. Margot often makes bad grades simply because she doesn't pay too much attention to schoolwork- people are more important to her. If she applied her obsessive personality to school, Margot would probably be valedictorian. Because of her last name, Margot's friends and boyfriends sometimes playfully call her "Jazz" or "Jazzy". As of the last day of school she's single, since her current boyfriend broke up with her through a friend- she was getting to be "too clingy". As revenge, she's kept his varsity jacket- and now it's locked in the school with her. - [☁-- ᴀ s ᴛ ʀ ɪ ᴅ]

Lauryn Elizabeth Smith - 16 - Junior - Female If you were to look at eye level you wouldn't find Lauryn. Standing at 4'10" and only a couple inches away from being a legal "little person," Lauryn would be easily lost in a crowd if it weren't for her spunky personality and short, bright red hair, complimented by round green eyes. She has a rounder face, but not chubby - so not quite to the point of looking 11. Being mischevious, Lauryn likes to try to fly under the radar sometimes despite her mouth and eye-catching hair. Because of this she is wearing ripped jeans, black tennis shoes, and a plain t-shirt covered by a basic black hoodie - a typical outfit for her. Lauryn comes across as sassy, nosey, and generally annoying. Her favorite thing to do is screw with people. If you can look past this, though, you'll find a good, fun friend. Get close enough and you might realize she's really a lonely child who just wants to be loved. Few people tend to get that far, though, so she's generally pretty unliked by the people who know her. - [Hawkfire]
Cyrus Koritz - 19 - Senior - Male Cyrus is of average height - about 5’10” - and build, only a little more muscular due to his work with heavy machinery. His shoulders are broad, with hands thick and rough from years of cuts and blisters. Cyrus’ skin is naturally a light tan but often has darker patches due to the grime and grease coating it. His short, unkempt, dirty blond hair likewise looks brown half the time, all matching his light brown eyes behind long lashes to give him an earthy look. Originally he had a diamond tattoo on the side of his left foot - a tribute to an old friend - but after losing his leg in an ugly mechanic accident, Cyrus decided to essentially transfer it to his left cheek to make up for it (he finds the location… cheeky. It was a better idea when he was drunk). Cyrus now sports a rather fancy prosthetic leg, in designed silver metal simply for the aesthetic. Being a senior in his last semester, Cyrus only had a couple of classes a day, so he often came straight from work or his own projects and didn't bother to change. Because of this, he tends to smell like a mix between axe and car oil. He typically wore thick denim blue jeans with legitimate rips and holes, paired with an often stained t-shirt and black boots. When he knew he wasn't going to be working or did bother to change, he'd wear a nicer shirt (often flannel, converse, and sometimes shorts). On the day school ended it was a little bit of both, so the clothes he's now stuck with include a dirty blue t-shirt covered with a nice red flannel, and shorts with his sneakers. Outwardly, Cyrus is like a calm puppy. He is a very friendly and caring person, and will treat anyone he meets like he's known them forever. Oftentimes his eyes are sparkling with lighthearted curiosity, and thin lips parted in a happy, lilting grin. He only acts like this, though, as long as you don't treat him as anything less than an equal. He acts humble but as far as he's concerned, he's above everyone else, and anyone trying to command him will likely end up in a manipulative power struggle. However, as the “alpha” (in his mind), he also has a duty of care, and will gladly lay down his life for just about anyone. Cyrus was born to an upperclass (rather snotty) family of lawyers and doctors, but could never find his place in any of what they considered respectable fields. Instead he discovered he has a knack and strong passion for mechanical engineering, and when he was old enough got a job with a mechanic on top of his related school electives, much to the disappointment of his family. They viewed mechanics as dirty work, and made Cyrus always feel lesser for it. This - along with some typical childhood bullying and already feeling unintelligent compared to the other, book smart kids - fueled his desire to be better than everyone, and he works hard to be the best he can be. - [Hawkfire]

( Sorry I vanished last night. ^^" I was pretty tired. cookie★s: Looks great, Ally ✨ thepineappleincident: Of course! snow: Welcome! Salt: Alright, see you then. ^^ ) Riley nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan. We've been here for a while, so it's about time we get everyone together." He looked over at Robin, who made a small noise seemingly in approval, though she said nothing. Acknowledging Austin, he continued. "Hopefully we won't be stuck here that long."

Austin sighed in a rather dramatic fashion, crossing his arms as he said, "Well, I definitely hope not. Anyway, shouldn't we get going now? The sooner the better, right? I could actually go for some food right now, if we pass by the cafeteria..." he trailed off as he noticed his rambling, eyes snapping back to attention on the three kids.

( I guess they're hitting the cafeteria first. )
"No argument there," Riley replied with a weak laugh. He was quite hungry himself, and the cafeteria seemed like a perfect spot to find more people - and hopefully some chicken with his name on it. Killing two birds with one stone. Without waiting for a response, he slipped back out of the library, looking at the others over his shoulder while he held the door open. "Onward, my friends."
( he's such a loser rip also the chicken addiction returns, sorry not sorry )

"Thaaaank youuuu," he spoke, drawing out his words for emphasis as he walked out of the door held open by Riley. Austin didn't remember the last time he ate - these past two days were spent mostly sleeping and checking his phone for an Internet connection, and neither were as exciting as this. Some good old greasy cafeteria food in his stomach would be the best thing that's happened to him yet.

Wynn yawned and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. It took her a moment to fully register and remember where she was. She’d fallen asleep at one of the cafeteria tables, all efforts to stay awake failed. What she really needed at the moment was caffeine, or anything, really, to wake her from her daze. Before she could think to do anything, muffled voices sounded from down the hall. Still being half asleep, Wynn gave nothing but a sleepy grin and walked after the chatter. “I’m glad I’m not the only one,” She called.

Sitting in the cafeteria while the sun rose over the trees through the window beside him, Cray was half awake at a table by the door. He hadn't bothered to search for others, instead spending his time searching classroom after classroom for something, anything that might aid in getting him out. The few things he had found included a small glass cutter from the shop class, which had broken the minute he attempted to put it to work. Since then he'd gathered two fire blankets and made his way to the cafeteria, bundling up in his seat to doze off.

Emma Cole - 15 years old - 10th - Female / she/her Emma has wavy, dirty blond that reaches a bit past her shoulders. She has pale skin, dark brown eyes, and stands at 5'3". She's wearing a white shirt with a single long sleeve and a diamond cutout in the chest. Her shorts are bright red and she also wears copper-colored sandals and a matching copper overcoat. Emma is quite sweet, but is also quiet and usually sticks to just talking to her few close friends. Though not the best in school, she is pretty smart when it comes to problem solving and life skills. She can be a bit overly dramatic and is slightly possessive of people, but most don't see that side of her unless they are her close friends or family. She tends to space out when she gets nervous, and loves writing in typewriters. Though she's a pretty gentle girl, Emma isn't afraid to stand up when she thinks she's right, and is slightly infamous in the school for trying to get everyone to believe in fairies in the fifth grade. Though she long ago gave that up, she still does believe in fairies. She loves photography and is also quite interested in folklore, hoping to study it over the summer. Something only a few of her friends know about her is that she loves real-life role playing of any sort, and often likes to pretend that she's in another world even when not roleplaying.- [Brindleface] Rainsayer of FireClan c:

( Welcome, brindleface! ^^ )
Riley merely nodded in reply before turning to Robin, who turned to walk by him next, but not before nudging his arm with her own. Words didn't have to be said for Riley to understand that it was Robin's way of telling him, "Thanks, but you're still a giant loser. Please stop." After Robin was out of the doorway, Riley followed after the group until they reached the cafeteria, perking up when he heard Wynn's voice. He said nothing, simply waving at her.
Robin made her way into the cafeteria and instantly frowned upon seeing Cray. She was silent, remaining in the doorway while she waited for the others.
After suffering with failed attempts of falling back asleep, Daisuke decided to stand up and stretch once more before exiting the computer lab, following the voices he had heard. Despite the group being relatively small, he was still disappointed, resulting in a murmur he didn't mean to say aloud. "Too many people..."

Will the students already know each other just from going to school together, or will they introduce themselves?)
Margot sat up and stretched, yawning loudly. For a second she couldn't figure out where she was. Then she realized- she was locked in the school, and had fallen asleep on the ground next to the pool with "her" varsity jacket as a pillow. For other people, falling asleep on the edge of a pool might be strange, but to Margot it was as good a spot as any. She had been sitting on the edge watching the the pool flicker and reflect, entranced by the dancing light, before she'd simply tired and curled up where she was. Feeling exceptionally sore from the hard ground, Margot stood up slowly, pulled on the varsity jacket, and decided against putting her heels back on. All of her things were back in her locker- including a curling iron, makeup bag, some hair product, a change of clothes and multiple sweatshirts- where Margot had returned them after realizing that she'd been locked in. First, she'd actually thought that her friends were pranking her, but she had taken the realization fairly well. She had been mourning her relationship, but now she was bored and lonely and needed people. Margot picked up her heels and limped sorely into the hallway, her varsity jacket and now slightly greasy curled hair engulfing her.

im pretty sure theyre all just introducing themselves ! ))
While Riley zoned in on Wynn and Robin seemed to turn her attention on another boy across the room, Austin's ears picked up a whisper from behind the group. Turning his head ever so slightly to look at the speaker, he offered a friendly grin and a raise of the eyebrows to the shorter boy behind him. "Hey, man. What's that you just said?"

( Yup. Some characters know each other but most of them are just introducing themselves now. )
It was in that moment that Daisuke realized he messed up, and it was painfully obvious. His face was bright red, and he frantically searched for the right words, as could be evidenced by the stutter that came out with them. "U-um, nothing in particular. Just...talking to myself." He forced himself to meet the other boy's eyes but found himself turning away in embarrassment, unable to keep up what was already a failure of an act. He was certainly fully awake now, with no trace of the bitterness he felt towards the situation left.
