{{Okay, so I just took a look at Eddy's current standing in the clan, he is technically an outsider since he isn't a warrior or a guard, but I remember his introduction rp, Metalstar has accepted him into the clan, so I guess that he's technically an apprentice as well. If you want to start, go ahead.}}

Ahh i see, good to know))
Splinterpaw just finished cleaning her chest and was looking around for a cat to go hunting with. Eddy was sitting at the edge of camp, his black pelt blending into the shadows. It took a moment for the apprentice to notice him, the she-cat chuckling about it while trotting in his direction. "Hi Eddy! Want to come hunting with me?" She asked cheerfully, licking a paw and drawing it over her ear as she waited for his response.

"I suppose I should learn how you clan cats do things." Eddy hummed, snorting in amusement. Since joining, Eddy had done his best to learn what he could, but who wanted to take on a thirty moon old apprentice? Not many cats. It was probably for the best they he stay close to the apprentices.

(Alright, so since some time has passed I'm going to set Eddy, Gem, Gingerkit, and Breeze will all be accepted into their respective roles in the clan and there will be an official timeskip from plot-heavy rps. Steeleye and Rosepaw's death will be common knowledge and they have been sent to rest in the clan burial grounds. Thank you!)

Do you have an idea of where we could go?" She asked as the walked through the entrance together, the younger cat have to quicken her steps to keep up with Eddy. Splinterpaw studied his expression with a strange look on her face. Not many cats in the Clan could tell what the new tom was thinking.

Splinterpaw studied his expression with a strange look on her face. Not many cats in the Clan could tell what the new tom was thinking. "Well, there's the park, there's always a lot of squirrels and mice there. There's the shopping district, with the rats that hang around the dumpsters. We could also skirt the edge of the city, but that's a bit too risky. Which spot sounds good to you?" He asked, looking down at the apprentice.

"The park." Splinterpaw answered after considering it for a moment. "I like squirrels." She added jokingly as they set their paws on their rout, although immediately regretting it. After a couple minutes of walking she decided to do her best to become Eddy's friend. "What's your favourite prey?" The little cat asked with curiosity, determined to find out more about him.

"I rather enjoy large, fat mice. They're very juicy." Eddy purred quietly at the question. He thought about joking and saying that he loved to eat apprentices, but he didn't know Splinterpaw too well. What if she didn't appreciate his sense of humor?

Splinterpaw smiled, satisfied with his answer. "I hope we find some, then." She remarked kindly as they followed the side of the small thunderpath. She stopped at a point where a gap in the scraggly bushes (which bordered the stone twoleg walkway) opened up. "We can cut through this old path as a shortcut." The small cat informed Eddy with pride.

Eddy eyed the path with a small frown. "I suppose we could, but... is it safe? Will we run into a two-leg?" Eddy always took the rout he knew would be safest.

Splinterpaw nodded. "We would more likely avoid twolegs. It's just an old deer path." She told him with a reassuring tone. The she-cat slipped under a low hanging branch, barely having to crouch because of her size. Ahead was a narrow dirt path, worn down by various city animals. It stayed more or less straight, cutting diagonally to another stone twoleg path. "We don't have to take it, of course." The little she-cat added over her shoulder.

"If we are more likely to avoid the twolegs, then we will take the path." He hummed softly, having to flatten himself to his belly to follow after Splinterpaw.

sorry for the late reply, had to help my mom find her phone))
Splinterpaw trotted along the path happily, Eddy at her tail. It didn't take long for the two to reach the end of the path. The she-cat tasted the air before proceeding down the side walk, making sure they wouldn't run into any twolegs. "We just head straight from here." She informed the black tom, prouder still of her knowledge of the territory.

Eddy nodded, tail lashing as he looked around, scenting the air as well. Nothing but a stale twoleg and dog scent. They were fine. "Right. If it is straight ahead, I will take the lead. If there are any twolegs around, I am not as important to the clan as you are." He told Splinterpaw as he moved to get ahead of her.
{{You're fine uvu}}

"... Umm, sure, go ahead." Splinterpaw responded, taken aback. She fell in behind Eddy, contemplating his words. Of course the Clan values him! He's an excellent hunter, for one. How could he think that? She thought with concern as they padded silently towards their hunting destination. She didn't argue, only because he was older and therefore wiser in her eyes.

Eddy's thinking was because she was clanborn and an apprentice, therefore the future of the clan, that meant that she was more important than he was. Once they got to the end of the path, Eddy scented the air, hanging back. He was searching for any sign of danger befre they continued.

Splinterpaw eventually dismissed his comment as humbleness. She slowed according to his speed, although almost bumping into him at first. "Smell anything?" She asked, keeping her voice low. The she-cat swung her head around to surveil the area. Still nothing.

"No. I don't smell anything." Eddy said, stepping out. When he deemed it safe, he signaled for Splinter paw to follow him.

ugh i hate when that happens. ur good, im just watching netflix))
Splinterpaw trotted after Eddy until they were in the park. "I'll head this way. I smell a mouse." She whispered, veering to the left of the tree-scattered field to follow her scent trail. It led her to the roots of a young oak, the fallen leaves occasionally rustling with the movement of prey. The she-cat's tiny body allowed her to set her paws down gently, simply flattening the leaves instead of crunching them. I'll have to wait, the mouse is too far buried. Splinterpaw decided.

Eddy was waiting for Splinterpaw when she was finished with two large squirrels hanging from their tails in his mouth. "Ready to go back?" He asked through a mouth full of fur.

Splinterpaw finally saw a little grey snout peek out of the leaves. Without hesitating she launched herself onto the mouse, pinning it down with her paws. The apprentice bent down and nipped the fat rodents neck, swelling with pride. A muffled meow sounded behind her as she picked up her prey at the base of it's tail. "Wow! Great catch." She congratulated Eddy with admiration. "Yep, I'm ready." She answered.
