'I can't believe I'm taking help from a hunter..This isn't going to end well' he thought, sighing. He grasped her hand and tried standing.

Hope, surprisingly strong for her size, was able to prop his arm around her shoulders and bear a good ammount of his weight. "You ready?" She asked him before moving, not wanting to hurt him more.

Aaaaa I'm so sorry for the long poof! I had to take a hiatus from the forums due to personal reasons ~))
Atticus gritted his teeth, wincing slightly with every step. He hoped the town wasn't to far.. A thought suddenly struck the thief. Was the bounty huntress going to turn him in after the doctor tended to him? Or was she really lying and planning on taking him straight to the kingdom guard? 'This is just great..' he thought bitterly. He was to exhausted to to anything about it though. He'd have to wait and see what would happen.

(It is totally okay! I hope everything turned out okay!)
After about 30 minutes of walking, Hope could see the town come into view. It was small, sitting on the outskirts of the kingdom, and a little run down, but it was home to her. The streets were still empty in the early morning sunlight. Hope helped the thief through the town, stopping in front of a door that seemed only be leaning in the doorway. She gave three quick taps against it and then waited patiently. 'I hope this doesn't take long.' She thought to herself. She desperately needed the money that this kill would bring her. After a moment, the door swung open with a hallow creek. A frail old man stood on the other side, looking grumpy until he realized who it was. "Hello Hope." His eyes grew kind, and then narrowed again as his gaze traveled to the thief. He scanned the wounds with his eyes, but asked no further questions. Instead, he quickly stepped out of the doorway to allow them to enter.

Yay ^.^ ))
A couple of hours later Atticus awoke laying in an old colt. He was confused for a moment, not recognizing where he was. But he soon remembered that he was at the doctors house. He groaned and sat up groggily, feeling stiff and sore. His wounds had been cared for and bandaged, so they didn’t hurt as bad as they did before.. ‘I’m surprised I didn’t wake in a jail cell..’ he thought to himself. ‘Where did that huntress go?..’

Hope was in the next room over, the dining room, having some tea with the doctor. They were speaking in low voices, even though it was nothing secret. It was just more of a habit. Hope was sitting in a relaxed way, not something she did often, but she wasn't worried. The only way out of the house was to walk through the dining room.

As Atticus got up from the cot, he noticed some clothing laid out on a chair beside the cot. He assumed the clothes were for him since his old clothes were ruined from the bear attack and were probably thrown away.. The pile contained simple merchant clothes, containing a dark long sleeved shirt, jeans and his leather boots which he slipped on. After he was fully dressed he quietly made his way over to the door and opened it just enough to peer out. He spotted the doctor and huntress in the other room having a conversation at a table. He cursed quietly, ‘How am I going to get out of here..?’ he thought to himself, looking around the room he was in currently for any other way out. ‘What kind of house doesn’t have any windows?!’

Hope thanked the doctor again and stood from the table. She had promised the thief a fair fight, and she was going to keep her word. She would give him enough time to get out of town, that was all. After slipping quietly out the front door, she went down the road a little ways to the bakery. She needed to replenish her supplies for the coming hunt.

After a while Atticus peered out the door again and to his luck the huntress was gone. The doctor had gone in a different room so this gave him his chance to escape. He quietly slipped out and hurried to the front door and exited the house. He suddenly remembered he’d forgotten his weapons. Though he hadn’t seen his weapons or his satchel at all in the house, so the huntress or doctor must have disposed of them. ‘That’s just great..’ he thought bitterly and sighed. ‘I’ll worry about weapons and supplies later..’ Atticus remembered seeing a horse stable at the edge of the town when he came here with the huntress earlier. He hurriedly began to make his way over there, keeping to the shadows to stay hidden.

Hope gathered together a few pieces of stale bread from the store owner. In exchange, she gave him a few coins. It was almost all that she had left. She found herself again hoping that the kill would be easy, and also hating herself for not being able to kill him while he was hurt.

Luckily for the thief, a horse was just outside the stables, already saddled and tied to a fence post. He hurried over, not bothering to check and see if anyone was around and quickly untied the horses’ reigns from the post. The horse whinnied and reared, startled when he climbed onto it’s saddle. “Woah!” he gripped the reigns tight so he wouldn’t fall off. “Easy girl..” he reached out a hand to pet it’s head to try to calm it. “Hey! What are you doing?!” a voice shouted from behind. The stable owner had spotted Atticus taking their horse and was running over. “Stop! Thief!” Atticus snapped the reigns and the horse went into a quick gallop, racing across the path through the town.

Hope was just exiting the small store when she heard the yelling. She flung the door open as the thief raced passed her down the road. Muttering small curses at herself she took off after him, but she knew that she had lost for now. There was no way she could catch a man on horseback, and she couldnt afford one of her own. She continued running until she was also out of town.
