(Well I’ve got Buggy, Cricket, or Thistle for warriors and Tree and Misty for paws. Bug and Misty are mean though, Thistle is just sorta awkward, and the other two are just kinda there.)

Batwhisker » A tired yawn parted the jaws of the incredibly slender tomcat. He stretched out in his mossy nest, long limbs extending all the way out as he did so. Luckily he was able to keep himself from stretching into the nest of any other warrior that was still curled up asleep or just beginning to wake up. He had done that a few times before when waking up; his body was so long and lanky that when he stretched he practically reached from one end of the warriors' den to the next. Okay, not really, but it sure did feel like that. He hated anytime he accidentally poked or prodded another warrior when he was stretching. It always made for some awkward conversation where he would usually end up ducking his head low to the ground and slinking off in submission, fearing that he had angered a Clanmate.
After a few moments of simply laying there, the pitch black tomcat pulled himself up to his paws. He gave one more stretch of his back before padding out into the camp, amber eyes glancing around in a rather nervous manner. What if he had overslept? Would Stormstar or Featherpool get on to him for that? Maybe he should just leave camp now and go out hunting. ... No. He couldn't do that, either. He should wait and be assigned to go on patrol. Yeah, he could do that. Even if that meant standing awkwardly in camp for a bit. The long-legged tom took a deep breath, closed his eyes for a second, and then slowly opened them back up. It was still early. No cat would be angry with him. Everything was okay. He was fine. This was fine.

Interest peaked when she saw someone finally emerge from the warriors den, dappled ears twitching forward as she noticed the midnight coated warrior exiting the den looking as anxious as he usually did. Tilting her head to the side as she watched him come out in quite the huff, she flared her nostrils. Worrying for a moment that Batwhisker might have caught the scent of something that she might have missed, but seemingly found nothing and confusion lit her gaze for a heartbeat or so, until she remembered something. It's Batwhisker, she told herself with a semi-contained chuckle. He gets spooked if his nest isn't aligned quite right. Her grin wasn't a malicious one, though it was ratheramused. Watching with a degree of curiosity as he seemed to calm down and the fur along his spine lay flat across his spine once again. The older warrior lifted herself onto careful paws and approached with a kind expression on her dark grey expression. Though her gaze was still lit with a degree of amusement, her tone was kind. "Good Morning, Batwhisker," her tone carried its usual jovial nature as she spoke to the tom cat. "How are you this chilly morning?" She questioned, going for the small talk she felt would likely result in the less stressful response possible from the subject before her. Allowing the tom a moment or so in which to reply, the warrior tilted her head to the side. A breeze ruffling through her fur but it wasn't too cold, and the skies showed no sign of rain just yet. "I wondered if you'd like to come for a hunt with me?" She offered.

w i n d s h e a r" i put everyone before myself, but never you. " accompanied by: [ hummingfrost ] Last night wasn't one of the best nights in his history- of course, he probably had worse, such as a battle with random foxes or anything really, but still. In Windshear's head, it was a pretty upsetting night. The tom had trouble falling asleep beside his mate at that time, but he eventually fell into a light slumber. He made note to talk to Hummingfrost in the morning, hoping she'd know what he could do. But now, as the night faded and the faint lights of dawn peered into the den, Windshear's amber eyes slowly and tiredly blinked open. He yawned and stood, stretching his paws before him before looking at the nest that belonged to Stormstar. It was cold and empty. He assumed she was probably up and thinking.
With a sigh, the gray and white tabby shook himself out before slipping out of the leaders den, blinking in the sights of the slowly stirring camp. He spotted Batwhisker and Willowdapple conversing a few steps away. Windshear twitched his ears and waved his tail in greeting as he looked around the camp. His gaze eventually landed on that of the nursery. He hesitated before making his way towards it. Does she even want to hear about my troubles with Stormstar? Surely Hummingfrost has other thing to worry about and not my problems. He frowned. He stopped right outside the nursery and pawed eagerly at the ground. Of course she'll listen, she always does. He decided.
Before his mind decided otherwise, Windshear carefully slipped inside and blinked in the gloom. His eyes fell on the pretty pelt that belonged to his best friend, Hummingfrost. She looked peaceful, and he didn't exactly want to wake her. But, he pushed foreward and carefully pressed a paw against her shoulder, shaking her gently. "Hummingfrost?" He breathed out softly. "I- I was wondering if we could maybe go out of camp and talk?" He meowed after a moment, hoping the molly wouldn't be upset or angry for waking her so early.
- { Feathertalon } - { oakclan nursery } - f e a t h e r p o o l" if you can't accept me now, then you don't deserve me ever. " accompanied by: [ bramblesplash ] Featherpool was one of the first few cats awake in camp, seeing as she was deputy- she always tried her hardest to be up as early as possible. She was currently sitting outside of the den, tail curled gracefully over her paw as she figured what patrols to send out. I can send out Bramblesplash on a hunting patrol with Appleshine and Thistlemask. And maybe Cicadabuzz can lead a border patrol with Batwhisker and Rabbitblush? The small gray and whate tabby thought peacefully before nodding. She looked around before spotting Bramblesplash, jumping to her paw and making her way over to the dark brown tabby.
Dipping her head respectfully, the deputy purred softly. "Good morning, Bramblesplash. I was wondering if you would be okay taking a hunting patrol out until sunhigh? Take your apprentice, Appleshine and Thistlemask with you, please." She stated before looking around the Cicadabuzz. She frowned, not yet spotting the other warrior. "Also... Have you seen Cicadabuzz this morning? I'm planning to have her lead a border patrol with Batwhisker and Rabbitblush." She stated before looking around. She figured the molly might be sleeping as she spotted Batwhisker up and talking to Willowdapple. She flicked her tail before sighing.
The constant thought of her not being a good deputy was chewing at her thoughts as she looked back at the brown tabby before her. "Do you think I'm doing good at my job as deputy? I'm trying to keep cats that get along on patrols, all the while i'm trying to train Treepaw. I feel like I'm doing a terrible job." The molly frowned. She was hoping to some assurance that she was doing a better job than any, but she didn't want to hear that from just anyone, really. She was hoping to get out with her apprentice today, and maybe get Dimheart to tag along.

Batwhisker » He would be lying if he said he hadn't jumped when he heard a voice call out his name. For a good second there the black tomcat's fur along his spine raised back up. His amber gaze widened as he swung his head around, looking for the source of the voice. It wasn't his half-brother's voice, that was for sure, and it wasn't the voice of his mate, Cricketchirp, either. Had it been either of those voices he might not have reacted in such a nervous manner, but here he was, eyes wide, fur fluffed, and long tail twitching back and forth in a nervous manner. He really needed to work on his jumpy behavior. How he had become a warrior still baffled him, but he was glad nonetheless. He wanted to serve his Clan. He wanted to prove himself. He was just a bit jumpy is all.
Eventually the black tomcat found the owner's voice. He visibly relaxed when he noticed it was only Willowdapple. He respected the elder warrior, but her being a senior warrior meant she had truly lived through all the hardships that had come with the Clan's last leader. Not only had she dealt with the leader before, but she had dealt with Batwhisker's own father... He had been a smooth-talking tomcat, the kind that somehow managed to get molly after molly to pad after him. Then he'd leave them without a second glance, emotionally and mentally hurting those that he had once acted so sweet and kind to. He also hadn't been the most innocent of cats when it came to the physical aspect of injuries, either. Spookshade had never been afraid to raise his claws and be a bit too harsh when it came down to it. And that worried Batwhisker. It worried him that cats would see him as his father. Sure, Batwhisker had received the long and tall look from his mother, but he carried the same midnight black pelt as Spookshade had, and that alone worried Batwhisker. Though the time to worry wasn't now. He needed to bring himself back to reality.
Shaking his head, Batwhisker cleared his mind to the best of his abilities. He then dipped his head to the molly warrior. "I'm good," he replied slowly as if he needed to taste the words upon his tongue before speaking them aloud. "And...and how are you?" His ears perked up when Willowdapple mentioned going hunting with her. Batwhisker flicked his tail and glanced around the camp. "Oh, uh, sure. Yeah, we can do that. Unless Featherpool would rather us do something else?" His comment heightened in pitch at the end of his words making it more of a question. He wouldn't mind hunting with Willowdapple, but if Featherpool had already assigned him to a patrol then he was expected to follow the deputy's orders even if Willowdapple was perhaps the Clan's most senior warrior.
Hummingfrost » Being a permanent queen meant that Hummingfrost didn't have to usually wake up as early as the typical warrior, but that didn't mean she slept in. No, no. Even if her duties were different from that of the rest of the Clan's, she still had a job. Or she felt like she did. Even if there weren't currently any expecting or nursing mothers in the Clan, the silver tabby still made sure to keep herself busy with day to day tasks. Sometimes it was helping throughout the camp, gathering new moss to change out bedding or whatnot. Sometimes it was fortifying the dens, adding new brambles and whatnot to help keep the camp protected and safe. Today the molly had decided she was going to change out the bedding in the nursery as it was getting rather old and stiff now.
This thought lay in her mind as she herself lay there in her nest, still curled up in a rather tight ball with her feathery tail covering up most of her slender body. She didn't even make an attempt to budge until she heard movement outside the nursery which told her somebody was coming inside. This catching her attention, Hummingfrost's ears perked up and she finally uncoiled from her fluffy ball. As soon as she saw who had entered the nursery the silver tabby felt a large smile pull at her lips.
Pushing herself to her paws, Hummingfrost shook her fur out and went up to the tom, reaching out to nudge him across the shoulder in greeting. "Windshear!" Hummingfrost then paused, amber eyes flashing in worry when she noticed that the tom both seemed and sounded not okay. "Of course, of course," she murmured. "You know I'm here for you. Let's go." With that she motioned for the tomcat to head on out of the nursery, ready to follow alongside.

Boulderfrost is black and he had two siblings, Nettlepaw and Egretpaw, but calico, black, or tortie could fit in as maybe his cousins or nieces/nephews depending on ages. Waspclaw - Camp - Mentions Rowanshard, Crowpaw
Waspclaw awoke with a jerk in her nest, a few panting breaths leaving her before she looked around at the furry bodies around her and remembered. Right. That was all a dream. A memory, but just a dream now. She stood up in her nest, arching her back into a stretch, and let out a sigh. Going by the sunlight at the edge of the cave, she had woken late. Like her sister, she preferred an early morning, though these days her sister was far more anxious than normal. Waspclaw hadn’t bothered to ask why, but everything seemed fine, so she was sure Stormstar could sort it out. She was the leader, after all.
After she finished a quick stretch and licked down a few errant tufts of fur, Waspclaw padded out of the den and looked around. The fresh kill pile was high, including two trout on top. There were no foreign smells in camp, no signs of alarm or disarray. She glanced over at Rowanshard cleaning his pelt and padded over to him. The tomcat smelled of the lake and covered with burrs, she singled him out. As usual, she didn’t take account much of his body language.
“Nice catch,” she meowed. “Is Crowpaw awake? I don’t think we’re on the dawn patrol today, so I’d like to get in some training with him. I’m thinking mock battles, or maybe seeing how well he can hide from me. Any ideas? He can be a bit of a burr himself, though I’m sure he’ll grow into a fine tomcat, won’t you say?”
///
Boulderfrost - Camp - Mentions Bramblesplash, Featherpool
Boulderfrost often enjoyed a good snooze, but early on he had been awoken by some noise and hadn’t quite been able to get comfortable. The chilly air somehow seemed to make old wounds a bit sore and tense, so instead he’d decided to take a stroll. He’d looked for prey casually, then returned to camp as he heard the sounds of more life beginning to stir. Which is how he ended up almost seeming to appear right out of the shadows near Bramblesplash and Featherpool, far too quiet than a cat of his size should be.
“You’re doing fine, Featherpool. Any requests for me? I could find Cicadabuzz and pull her tail.” It sounded like a joke, but his face gave nothing away. He sat down and wrapped his tail over his paws, mismatched eyes blinking slowly. “Or you, Bramblesplash? Anything you need? I imagine you’re busy with little Houndpaw.”

Rowanshard» collided Distracted for a moment when he spotted Featherpool approaching Bramblesplash, at first the warrior didn't seem to notice the approach of the younger shecat. And hence was taken somewhat by surprise by her sudden voice next to his ear, not, of course, that he would have admitted it. "Thank you," he responded simply. The catch was mediocre at best, nothing a semi-skilled apprentice wouldn't have managed but he accepted the compliment all the same. Knowing that contesting it would likely lead to only further conversation and likely more needless compliments. He knew he was a good hunter, and felt no need to be reminded of it by lesser ones. However, upon his expression he maintained a reasonably friendly expression, though the boredom was apparent to anyone who took the time to look close enough. Turning his gaze from the pair to his new companion, the tom cat flicked an ear forward as he listened to her chatter. Birds talk less, the thought amused him and it appeared to be true as she listed off needless details. Listening with boredom but focus until he was able to get to the bottom of the question she was actually trying to ask. The tom shrugged his hefty shoulders in response. "I have not seen him today," never a tom to use ten words were three would do just as well. "How is the training of your apprentice going?" In truth he couldn't have cared less, but at least it was something to do until the deputy deemed it necessary to approach him too.
Bramblesplash»-` percy ´- .✫ 🌊 collided Attention drawn by the sound of his name called across the canyon, the tabby tom lifted his head expectantly in an attempt to pinpoint the location of the sound. Twitching his whiskers in amusement when he spotted its source, she can smell laziness I swear, he thought though it wouldn't be something he dared say allowed in a hundred years. The tom cat nodded his head in a respectful manner of the deputy as she approached where he had been comfortably settled. "And good morning to you too, Featherpool." He responded with what seemed like a genuine smile, true thoughts hidden well behind his amused facade. Grateful for he knew he might get a scolding for teasing a cat of her position. Listening intently to her orders, the tom cast his gaze across the clearing for a heartbeat in search of his apprentice, but seemed to see neither hide nor hair of the younger cat. Shrugging his shoulders at this minor inconvenience, he was sure he'd be able to find the apprentice soon enough with minimal effort. "Of course," he replied with a smile carved onto his expression. In response to her latter question, the warrior gestured with the tip of his striped tail to where Batwhisker - looking like he'd prefer a heart attack over a conversation, and Willowdapple the cat partaking in a conversation; were settled. "It looks to me like they've come up with plans of their own," he answered with a chuckle. It wouldn't be a problem, Willowdapple was a determined warrior so he assumed whatever plans the pair had; it would be productive to some degree. The next problem he faced, however, was not one that could be as easily solved. Surprised by the sudden waterfall of stumbled words of uncertainty from the lips of the deputy, the cat most looked to for guidance below only the leader. He hadn't expected such a show of weakness and vulnerability from a cat like Featherpool, and it left his maw slightly agape. Uncertain for a heartbeat as to how he might respond. Tremendously grateful when Waspclaw approached, meaning that it would be an issue divided and hence easier solved. The warrior hesitated for half a second before his ears grew warm, "I think that you're a great deputy!" Though the tone to his voice made it sound more forced than he likely intended it to. Making his compliment sound more mandatory than it did truthful. His consensus agreeing with that of Waspclaw beside him. His ears felt so warm he was sure they were heartbeats from setting fire atop his dark brown head. But he hoped at the very least he had been convincing.
Willowdapple» -` percy ´- .✫ 🌊 Seemingly having failed in her attempt to cause her subject as little distress as possible in posing him a question. The aged warrior let out a soft, chuckling sigh which she managed to stifle for the most part, and was aided by the fact that by the time it slipped her lips he had already begun responding, so she hoped he would fail to notice her misstep in courtesy. Maintaining enough kindness to stop the twitch of her whiskers in spite of the amusement burning through her system as she watched a thousand and ten emotions run through the tom's gaze in the space of half a heartbeat. On occasion the warrior did find herself wondering how in the name of StarClan a tom perpetually terrified at the thought of socialisation had managed to find himself a mate, but now wasn't the time for queering the love lifes of clan mates. I can ask about that later anyway, in spite of herself, Willowdapple did have quite the gossip side to her when she was curious about something or other. And Batwhisker was the type of tom who raised the curiosities of a couple of clan mates. Though if the tom was aware of that, he would likely die of fright. "I'm fine, thankyou!" Her tone of voice was as bright as the smile on her face and the playful glitter in her gaze. "And I'm glad to hear it," not that you could have guessed from how he reacted, the smile continued on her expression as she listened to what the worrisome tom cat had to say. Casting her gaze back towards the main part of camp, where Featherpool had retreated from her den and seemed to be giving out orders. The senior warrior paused for a moment, trying to catch the deputy's eye and discern whether or not they were already needed on some patrol or another. But when she failed to catch the molly's distracted attention, the shecat turned back with a shrug of her shoulders as she responded with. "I don't think so, she'd likely have already have mentioned something. And if not it will likely be a later patrol, so if we're back reasonably soon it shouldn't be a problem." The dappled warrior reasoned with a swish of her feathered tail. Turning her gaze back to the tom cat with a questioning look to her gaze as she asked. It was a true enough statement, even if her response was partly fueled by the desire to get out of camp and stretch her legs. "Shall we get going? Or see if anyone else wants to accompany us?"
