(Hmm, well Bluerose was just stopping to speak to Appleshine, because she had just entered her den - but it could work out if Appleshine says something like ‘Hey baby u look so fine come meet me outside of the camp in 7 minutes’ and then mysteriously vanished xD Or something along those lines, and then Stormstar can come in. But now, would Bluerose just be telling her that the other cat is pregnant, or that she’s pregnant and she thinks she knows who the father is?)

It all depends on how far along you want Appleshine to be crushing on Blue c:)

Stormstar »𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ Listening with her usual degree of patience as Foxfire excitedly spoke with her about the prospects of an apprentice. Her whiskers twitching with kind amusement and she displayed her usual stoic manner in spite of it. Her tail wrapping itself neatly around her front paws, settling down as she garnered this likely wouldn't be a short conversation, and she might be stuck here for a while before she could get on with her duties for the day. At first she wasn't entirely aware of it. The slight queasiness pestering at her stomach, like there were waves lapping at her stomach and making it hard to bite back the wave of nausea. Unsettled, but not thinking too much of it for now, Stormstar did her best to concentrate on the tom cat before her, and not give the impression that she was distracted. But the discomfort merely grey with each breath she drew in, and the leader shifted uncomfortably from one paw to the other. Her ears growing warm with the realisation there was nothing she could do to prevent the inevitable. She needed to vomit. Making a polite excuse as soon as it seemed reasonable to do so. The leader lifted herself back to her paws and passed by Foxfire before he was able to complain or protest. Carrying herself as tall as she could, she slipped from camp and promptly did her business. It left a foul tang on her tongue, but still the feeling didn't flee from her body and it made her grimace. There was nothing she could do about it, I need to see Bluerose. Whilst having nothing against the medicine cat, if anything Stormstar liked the cat's company when she didn't have a problem. But visiting the medicine cat could be percieved as nothing but a weakness, even if it was the truth it wasn't one she liked to admit. But as the pain persisted, Stormstar had to come to terms with the fact she unfortunately was not infallible, and there was no way around it. Kicking dirt distastefully over the miss she had created in the grass until no one would be able to notice it unless they went searching or had the ill fortune of stepping in it. However, the leader's first movement was not to head back for camp, but to find an excuse for having left in the first place. Her search didn't take long, and soon enough she carried the limp body of a freshly caught grouse. Hopefully it would give the impression that the leader had been lit with the need to hunt, and that was why she had hurriedly left. Returning to camp with a burning sensation in her fur to accompany the illness in her stomach, the leader dropped her kill on the pile and turned for the medicine cat. Grateful for the dark of her fur and the greying of the sky overhead to help her keep to the shadows. She moved towards the den as inconspiciously as she could manage, before dissapearing into its depths as though she hadn't been there in the first place. "Bluerose?" She called with no tone of hesitation to her voice, she couldn't give the impression of nerves no matter how harshly they burned through her veins. "I wondered if I might talk to you, alone for a moment?"

The medicine cats ear twitched at the voice. It didn't give her a fright, though it did catch her by surprise. When you're a medicine cat you get used to cats stopping in at all hours of the day, and some faces you get to remember better than others. She recognized the voice, though it was one she hadn't seen come visit her in a while. The blue and black shecat turned around to face the leader, dipping her head politely. Although she was busy organizing her herbs, the leaders presence demanded her upmost attention. "Starclan's blessings, Stormstar." She lifted her head and blinked calmly at her. Though, as she did her eyes scanned over her knowingly. She could smell the scent of vomit on her fur, a smell most cats didn't memorize, but again, being a medicine cat gave one a certain set of skills. Not that smelling the sour scent was really a perk.
"Magpiepaw has gone out, I told her to gather more balls of moss for the garden. What can I help you with?" She sat down and swept her long feathered tail over her paws. A cat of few words, was Bluerose. Though her straight, emotionless face was almost eerie in how... well, emotionless it was. Bluerose was like a painting, you can look them in the eyes and try to read deeper, but in the end you're just reminded that there is a disconnect between the two of you than can not be breached.

Stormstar »𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ Grateful for the knowledge she could have privacy as she spoke with the medicine cat. Whilst the mottled calico had no knowledge of what could be wrong with her, she would prefer her clanmates didn't have the need to worry about what could be wrong. Certain in herself that whatever it was it wasn't something to worry about. Harbouring eight lives gave a cat a degree of self confidence that most illnesses likely wouldn't be too much of a problem. Entering further into the medicine cat den, the unfamiliar tangs of herbs flooded her nostrils and made her stomach turn all the more but she maintained a straight expression. That mixed with the taste of vomit which still plagued her tongue didn't make for the best combination. Especially not for the greatened senses of a pregnant shecat, even if the calico was unaware of the secret she carried. "I hope this morning finds you well, Bluerose," she answered with a polite dip of her head, her tone genuine and carried no hint of the discomfort which was buzzing in her stomach. It will no doubt get much worse than having to deal with an ill leader, she thought with a frustrated twitch of her ears as she settled down near to the medicine cat. Grimacing more visibly for the first time as an especially fresh and strong wave tore through her veins. This time she managed to bite back the need to be sick, mostly because there was almost nothing left in her stomach to bring up. She kept her breathing steady and her own expression emotionless, having spent her younger moons perfecting the craft of being emotionless. This was nothing new to her, weakness was to be chased out, Stormstar knew very well how to hide it when the need arose. The leader and her medicine cat were very similar in this respect. "For unfortunately I can't say the same about my morning," she admitted, drawing her tail tightly around her as she spoke. "I have the most horrendous stomach ache, I've probably eaten something stale, but I wondered if there was something you might do to help settle it?"

Bluerose looked her leader over, focusing her gaze on her stomach. So that's why the scent of vomit lingered, though it was strange, her stomach was growing larger. Normally when stomach sickness fell upon a cat, there stomachs would grow smaller. It was this first clue that made Bluerose almost immediately sure in her suspicions. Thus, the first thing she did was step closer to examine her stomach. She wasn't going to give her herbs until she knew that she wasn't pregnant, as she didn't want to upset her stomach even more if that was the case. There was no harm in confirming her suspicions. "Hold on," She murmured and placed a paw on the molly's slightly protruded stomach. Stormstar shifted to allow her better access to her stomach, and that when she felt the first small kicks of life. Bluerose rested her second paw and began to gently feel over the small kits inside. Another small, kick, a stir of life. The medicine cat lifted her eyes to the leader, and soon to be mother. She could see, the leader had no idea.
How could she deliver this news? Well, first thing's first. Bluerose turned around toward her medicine supply and shifted about until she found the herb she was looking for. She turned back to the shecat with 3 small, ripe blue berries. They were Juniper berries, they soothed a cats stomach when eaten, and were so safe to the system that even a kit could eat them. Chevril roots were the normal go to for upset stomachs, but they did not help a pregnant's queen stomach, it only made it worse. She placed the berries in front of the leader, and looked at her with wide, cautious eyes. Bluerose... Wasn't the best at speaking normally, and this was an issue that she just... Didn't know how to deliver. Most cats knew when they were pregnant, and than came to her - it had never been the other way around before.
"Ahem... Eat these, they will help your stomach." She shuffled her paws, for the first time the leader witnessed her medicine cat look... Awkward. "And StarClan's blessings, Stormstar, I... You, you will make a very good mother, I'm sure." She dipped her head. The news was delivered, not in a great way, but she had said it.

Stormstar »𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ Shifting a little in order to provide the medicine cat access to the source of her discomfort, the calico flicked her ears back with a grimace at Bluerose's prodding of her stomach. Usually a lithe and slender cat, she had failed to notice that it had grown, though the signs were still almost impossible to notice unless the looker happened to know exactly what to look for. Thank StarClan, she thought with a grimace when the medicine cat removed her paws from her stomach. Revealing some of the pressure her growing abdomen was putting her under. Concentrating on the movements of the medicine cat, Stormstar failed to notice the sensation of kicking. Presuming the squirming she felt were waves of nausea as opposed to the cause of it. Watching the medicine cat as she moved away without a word, a frown almost etched onto her expression when Bluerose said nothing. Tilting her head to the side as she watched the medicine cat turn to her stores, thoughts charged through her head all at once. Is it more serious than I assumed, she worried. Unable to think of another reason as to why the shecat was acting secretive and nervous. It was the first time Stormstar had seen Bluerose display signs of awkwardness like this. Surely its too early in the season for greencough, but Stormstar was no medicine cat. In truth she had no idea. As Bluerose turned back to her, Stormstar felt a degree of relief to see only berries gripped in the shecat's maw. Whilst Stormstar knew little about herbs, the very little she was aware of was that greencough's cure was a leaf of some form. Not a berry, at least that means it can't be too serious, she hoped to herself. Leaning down to lap up the herbs she had been presented with. Upon hearing Bluerose's diagnosis, however, Stormstar nearly choked on the blue berries she'd half swallowed. Coughing hard, the leader sat up with widened eyes, panic hurling through her system that her usual facade wasn't able to quite stifle before a mixture of emotions tore across her face. I can't be, please StarClan, anything but kits. But the certainty on the medicine cat's face gave Stormstar little room for hope of a misunderstanding. Now the need to vomit wracked her again, but this time from nerves and fear rather than the nausea which had been plaguing her of recent. For a moment she said nothing, her grey gaze flicking to her ever so slightly distended stomach. That's when she felt it, the almost unmistakable stir of life carried within her. "I... I..." few cats had the honor of ever having seen their leader lost for words, let alone as scared as she was now. Stormstar let out a shaky exhale, gaze tearing from her slightly protuding stomach to land on anything else she could think of until the subject was Bluerose. "What am I going to do?"

Bluerose could see the worry blazing through her, she frowned, eyes clouded with sympathy and care. She understood how hard the news must have come to her, though a part of her was still hoping the leader would be thrilled. But, there was an issue at hand that was more important than kits, Stormstar was leader, having kits would detract from her duties, and she could tell these were the thoughts pouring through the mollies head at the moment. She gently placed her tail on the leaders shoulder, her touch comforting. "I suggest that you be honest with your clan." Her wise eyes were unmoving from Stormstar's.
"You have done so much for this clan, I feel that if you are truthful with them from the start, they will support your upcoming motherhood. As for the days when the kitting is close at hand, Featherpool can carry on your work until you feel well enough to continue with your position." Bluerose knew that it was tempting to hide it from the clan, to continue her duties as though nothing were wrong. After all, admitting that you are pregnant would be admitting a weakness, Bluerose knew that Stormstar wanted to maintain a good image among those that she cared about the most. But lying would solve nothing, it would only make it worse.

Stormstar »𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ Whilst those had admittedly been thoughts which had flickered through her mind, her priorities were admittedly more selfish than her medicine cat had seemingly assumed. Her grey gaze clouded over with pain and sadness, slumping down onto her stomach into the moss of a nearby nest. Her heart thundering so hard she was certain it would be audible to anyone in a nearby proximity to her. "You saw the pain my father brought onto this clan," the words from her lips were those of a broken cat rather than the strong leader she often showed herself to be. These were all the fears she had accumulated in the moons since her father's death. The scars he had left on the clan were yet to fade, and that was notable even on the queen's frame. Her gaze remained fixed on the ground in front of her, as though still trying to wrap her head around the news. "My blood is poisonous," she said with a growl. As many atrocities as her father had commited, she had played a role in many of them. Even if she had done so only to survive like so many others, it was a guilt which fixed itself in her heart and likely would never fade. "No kit deserves it running through their veins." Memories had burned themselves into her eyelids, of bodies taken far too young, of mothers scared for the fates of their children before they had even opened her eyes. She had seen so many families torn apart by her father's reign, it didn't seem fair that she was to have her own whilst others still struggled with the grief of a time long passed. For a moment the leader was lost like that, in her own fears and guilt that she seemed lost in a trance. Before an especially strong kick roused her back to reality, and for the first time she allowed her gaze to fix itself onto the source of the movement. "They will be born without a father," she whispered so quietly it was almost inaudible. "Me and Windshear are through."

Bluerose @necromancer Bluerose's head swirled as the leader spoke, her heart panging with sympathy. She heard Stormstar speak the very same things that she said to herself, she felt the same chilling, frozen with fear, burning with guilt shame that the leader felt. They had both gone through so much, both at the hands of their fathers, both were mad with power. Both had hurt so many people... The medicine cat placed her paw on top of Stormstar's, holding it there. "Stormstar... Look at me." Her voice was grave, but filled with emotion. As Stormstar looked up, she saw her medicine cat's face full of passion. "You... Are not your father... Your kits will not be like your father. It is not blood that makes a bad cat... It's actions..." Bluerose simply said the words she would have told herself in that situation. "Your kits will not follow in his foot steps. You will not follow in his foot steps. You carve your own destiny..."
Bluerose snapped back, seeming to suddenly realize that she was crushing the leader's paw under her own. What had come over her? She was... She was sharing too much. Bluerose shook her head as if to clear it, then turned her gaze away. "... I'm... Sorry, it's... - " She stopped that train of thought before the words left her lips, turning back to the leader. "Everything will be okay." It was the short and simple comfort she should have given in the first place, if her emotions hadn't taken over.

Stormstar »𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ Stiffening suddenly, as though all of a sudden remembering herself and a reminder of pain shot through her system like adrenaline in a fight. The leader forced herself abruptly to her paws, forcing the shake from her limbs as she looked down at her paws with a quiet sigh. Her gaze shaky as she lowered her golden muzzle to nervously run it through the ruffled fur of her underbelly, as she tried to figure out her next move. "I'm sorry for coming to you with this," her voice was forcefully level, gone was any of the emotion which had poured freely from her a moment before, to be replaced by her usual facade. "I shouldn't have worried you with my own needs, I am sure you are busy enough." She said quietly, on her paws and moving for the den exit without a word. A thousand thoughts bounded through her mind until she could barely think straight, but there was one tom cat on her mind she couldn't quite shake no matter how she tried. Windshear.

Bluerose @ anyone Bluerose watched the leader bound away, anger spiking in her at her dismissive words. If she were any more impulsive she would have likely snapped at her, but instead she bowed her head, and let the emotions brew inside her. She said nothing to her though, not a good bye, or any other words of comfort. It was clear to the medicine cat that she didn't care what she said anyways. Bluerose turned around and pretended to go back to organizing her herbs. She unsheathed her claws and batted away at a the juniper berries, blood hot, angry adrenaline pumping through her.
Reminder to self, never try to be comforting to Stormstar again. She thought to herself. Her fur was burning with embarrassment. She couldn't believe she tried to share her feelings with Stormstar, and she was so... dismissive. Bluerose was over reacting, but, in the moment it hurt. The medicine cat lowered her ears, huffing as she watched the Juniper berries roll. I don't care what she does. I'll deliver the kits, I'll keep my clan mates healthy. That's my only job... I don't have to like anyone. She gathered up the berries and tucked them away back on the shelf with a heavy sigh, touching a paw to her pounding forehead. I just need rest... She opened her eyes and looked at the small black poppy seeds tucked away. She pulled out a paw-full and popped them into her mouth, chewing the bitter herbs. They had a bad taste, but they would help calm her down.

Boulderfrost - Camp: Entrance/Exit - Mentions Cicadabuzz, Rabbitblush, indirect mentions of other clan mates
While Cicadabuzz had made quick and somewhat simple work of an explanation to Rabbitblush, he figured if the tom had extra questions, he could always ask. Trying to push together too opposing cats to actually communicate was difficult, but as senior warrior, trying to get his clan to behave was at least probably part of his responsibilities.
He couldn’t help his whiskers twitching as Heronfeather got laid into by Cicadabuzz though. It wasn’t as if she were wrong. Heronfeather was a bit of an odd one. While Boulderfrost was glad cats actually felt comfortable in camp enough to relax, it wasn’t like the tom was even helping groom another cat in sharing tongues. It would be good, as cold weather was incoming, for Heronfeather to at least attempt hunting, to be sure. Icepaw was another story.
As Cicadabuzz returned to their trio, something also caught Boulderfrost’s eye and delayed his plan to make haste for the moors. Poor old Cedarpelt was now running in circles in the middle of camp, acting like a fox was right at his tail. Boulderfrost frowned, wondering if he should intervene or if perhaps this was a job for Bluerose or Magpiepaw. In somewhat recent moons, the former senior warrior had begun to go blind and since then the tom had been terrorized by nightmares. Boulderfrost got them too, but not so badly. He flicked his tail, unsure, and turned to Cicadabuzz.
“I believe Icepaw has an injury, but thank you for trying to motivate Heronfeather,” he meowed. “I suppose we can head on out now?”
