{ Awe twi (is it ok if i call you that?), it isn't a problem c: Don't worry about replying quickly. reply when you can and when you're well enough! }
also saving for reply- will tag you later to let you Iona Halvard
The Overseer Styx Headquarters accompanied by Tove & Ivory dragon - Ivory
Today was just uneventful. At least to Iona's standards of events. She had gone on a flight with Ivory earlier, and just returned when the news from a few other fliers told her that one of her thieves, Tove to be exact, had recently stolen some pretty good work. She nudged Ivory as she landed and quickly got off the Alpha's back before heading into the Styx Headquarters. She listened to the click of Ivory's scales grazing against the walls and the floor as the razorwhip dragon followed her. She stayed quiet, her expression blank and furrowed as she made it towards her own office place, where she figured the thief would be waiting.
Stepped inside, she slipped the fire-proof dragon hide pull over off her shoulders and slung it over the back of her chair before sitting down and placing her hands on the table like desk in front of her. Her blue eyes made their way towards the figure standing in front of the desk, the emotion in them seeming to almost be no existent, but with a slight, small hint of curiosity. She stayed quiet for a moment more before leaning back, her hand placing itself on the snout of her razorwhip before she began to speak.
"Now, you said you've stolen quite the goods, Tove. I hope you won't disappoint. What did you bring back on this trip?" She asked the thief, lifting and eyebrow at the other member of the Styx Skimmers. She wasn't too excited at this point, but she was hoping for soemthing good. Possibly a new bow, or a new sword, or even a new axe. She could hope- that's all. Her hand moved away from Ivory's snout as she fixated her gaze on the thief, waiting a little impatiently.
[ if the blue is too hard to read, let me know ]
Ivory
The Alpha Styx Headquarter accompanied by Iona & Tove dragon rider - Iona H.
Following her partner and rider into the office, she curled her sleek body behind the desk and chair. It was surprising that a dragon such as Ivory could fit in the room, but she had gotten used to it. Her tail swayed in the far corner as she listened in on the exchange of words between the Overseer and Thief. Curiosity bit at her own thoughts as she lifted her head when Iona took her hand away, gazing across the desk/table to look towards Tove. She was hoping that her rider would be pleased with whatever was brought back, but she knew it was hard to please Iona in itself.
Setting her head back down on her front legs, the Razorwhip just listened in, wondering what could've been so much better to see than flying around. Afterall, her fly with Iona was cut short to come back and see what Tove brought back to the headquarters.

【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】)) Atlas raised an eyebrow in worry as the acid hit the sand beside him. He rolled away from the ball of Spit and narrowed his eyes. "L-look, I don't want any trouble, I just want to live." Atlas said. "So... just call him... off." He said in a simple tone. Atlas wasn't actually afraid but was just an honest to great actor. He looked at the dragon, his eyes glinting a darkness for a moment before it flashed away and was replaced with fear. "I just want to know where the hell I am..." He begged. "Tell me were the nearest safe place is and I'll leave." he said as he tried to rise from the sand but had a difficult time. "I don't think Kolr, likes me." He said. In the forest near by, when Kolr spat acid at Atlas Storm growled and folded his wings tightly as he started to slither towards the edge of the forest ready to spring upon the dragon. He stopped in his advance when he saw Ismene stand to protect Atlas. Storm hissed and slinked back into the woods. He was itching to kill something. ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע)) "Great." She said as she patted Fenrir as and the dragon flew over to a small island peak sticking up out of the ocean. He landed on it's top and padded into the center so Blair could dismount. She slid off his back and pulled her saddle back and ax off. Fenrir gave his body a quick shake before he jumped off the landing spot and plummeted toward the ocean. Fenrir dove into the water where he splashed into the center of a school of fish and started to pick off bunches of the fish before swimming onto the cliff side. He climbed up the side, his claws sinking into the softer rock and he pulled himself onto the top. He dropped three fish from his mouth in front of Blair before he laid down behind her and started to eat his own collection of fish, one by one, playing with them as he snacked.

. Maeve Ó Baoighill . Rider of Banekeeper the Threadtail [ Village | 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 's Reyna Holgata & Luna ]
She waved her hand dismissively in the regards of her house, unconcerned as another gush of smokey plumes stuttered out the back window.
“Oh that? That’s just a little setback,” she explained without a glance back. Maeve was too engrossed selecting an empty testing tube from her utility belt. Giving one glass tubing in particular a long look, she ultimately picked it, uncorking its green cap and tilting it downward in case any left-over solution occupied its contents.
She pulled on her goggles and went over to the Stormcutter, worming her way into Luna’s mouth. Given her small stature, she had to balance her torso on the drake’s lower jowl. As a result, she carefully avoided putting too much weight on her teeth, less she accidentally make the dragon uncomfortable. Nothing about accidentally cutting herself on those bottom incisors.
Outstretching her arm, she rubbed the tubing at the back of the drake’s throat—where the saliva was most potent—and scooped up a glob of spit. She backed out into the open at the success, corking the tube now filled with a transparent goo that ignited a dragon’s fire. The chemist gave Luna a gentle scratch beneath the chin in thanks. Not seeming to notice herself half drenched in dragon saliva, she went back to Reyna, pridefully holding up what she’d managed to collect.
“Brilliant, isn’t it? Directly from her fire ducts, this sample will make fascinating research! Just to think, will this sputum prove to be stronger? Timberjack’s supercharged nova attack, coalesced with the torus of flames Stormcutters are known for! Hmm… Then again…” She slid her goggles over her face, squinting incredulously at the sample. She began mumbling to herself, though it was likely to hypothesize that was all she was doing at this point. “Hmm… yes, yes… Maybe… This’ll have to be tested. Human- I mean, wait, what’s your name again?”
Maeve looked over at the rider, tilting her head as if she just noticed the girl had been standing there the entire time.
{x} Banekeeper gave a moment of pause to allow his rider time to collect her sample and leave. It was a quick, harmless process, that ended with her looking pleased and satisfied. He couldn’t wait to discover what research she could accrue with just a pint of dragon saliva. Returning back to the conversation as though nothing had occurred, the Threadtail nodded slowly. Given Luna’s face, he gathered she hadn’t been certain herself. He bobbed his head, somewhat curious he’d been, in a way, the one to break the news.
“Ah, yes, Pyrrhus. An interesting fellow, is he not? A beta in hierarchy—quite good at maintaining balance, as it seems. A fine choice in mate, Luna, and vice versa. He should be proud of such a clutch.” A pause. “Any names planned? I understand it might seem soon, but has the thought ever flitted in either’s head?”

. Artemis Kollsvein . Rider of Juno the Stormcutter [ Butcher's Shop | -` percy ´- .✫ 🌊 's Ryker and Tempest Bolt ]
The butcher perked up from the deer she had been cutting, having wistfully bade a quick ‘good luck’ towards the competitive duo Luca and Shilo. She’d expected their taking off to have granted her a bit of silence, but apparently fate had other plans. Setting down her bloodied knife on the counter, she took up Ryker into a hug, lifting him off his feet and giving a rather crushing squeeze that the lass was known for. It was quite affectionate, sure, but sometimes she underestimated her strength and ended up partly suffocating the victim of her cuddly behavior. Placing him back on the floor, she ruffling his head, accidentally staining it a bit red from her unwashed palms.“It’s actually not half bad,” she said to his question with a hearty grin. “Perhaps I’m biased for being a complete carnivore myself, but after a while that metallic smell gets mundane as the air outside. I don’t notice it anymore. Unless in the mornings where they’re grilling raw steaks. Now that’s a smell I’ll never stop loving.” She perked up at his next comment, then slapped her palm against her forehead. “Oh gee, sorry Ryker, I’m not on working duty today. Juno got this here’s deer as a challenge between Luca and I, but I’m sure the the newbie wouldn’t mind me asking up some meat. Mutton, you asked?” Not waiting for confirmation, she leaned against the counter, cupping her hand around her mouth to amplify the sound of her already booming voice.
“Hey yo Iomhar! Ya have any fresh mutton?” A young man, just barely out of his teens, jumped in surprise, putting a hand to his chest as though to check his heartbeat. Composing himself to the initial shock of practically getting yelled at, he raised his index finger in silent indication he’ll go and check; departing immediately to the back room where all the meat was kept fresh and frigid by some of the ice collected by the pillars.
“When he comes out, ya can ask him how many pounds,” she told the rider. “I’ll personally cut it up myself if he takes long. Iomhar is new at the job. He’s kinda slow because of it, so I don’t want to keep you or any customer waiting.” Artemis tapped at the counter with her fingers as the moments went by. Pausing at the silence, she decided for a new conversation. “How’s life?” she questioned, choosing the most generic, cliche ice-breaker she could think of.
{x} Perched neatly atop the butchery’s rooftops, Juno had taken the silence wonderfully. No longer did she have to stand the incessant chatter of boasting talents and feats—at least for now. Those two arrogant dragons would be returning sooner or later, and when they did, she’ll have to be faced with the absolute irritation of dealing with their never-ending need to validate themselves.
Her frills gave a little quiver as a rider’s voice, followed by the footfalls of a walking dragon. She quelled a small, irritated chuff. Today just wasn't her day, was it? Juno nested into herself, giving a low, almost inaudible grumble; though did open one black orb to observe the newcomers. Ryker and Thunder Bolt. She was familiar with the two of them, mostly the latter. The two were intelligent, and she favored that as a trait to have. Unlike the other two, recently departed dragons, the Skrill had potential. She had yet to draw a proper opinion on the dragon due to having not seen him in so long, but perhaps today could finally decide that.

» Magnus Tougard « The Caretaker Dragon - Blizzardwing With: Kari | Location: Dragon Stables » Magnus listened wordlessly as Kari began to sing and Freyja joined in, surprised at how good the two sounded together. It was clear that they did this often. He found himself distracted from his work, his hands loosely grasping the bandages he was wrapping around the baby dragon's leg, and as the song died down he realized he'd been staring. He quickly glanced away, not wanting to appear rude, and continued his work, securing the bandages firmly. "You two sound beautiful together," he commented, a smile on his face. "I think this little one enjoyed it, too." ______________________ » Blizzardwing « Snow Wraith - Omega Rider - Magnus Tougard With: Freyja | Location: Dragon Stables » The little Snow Wraith was indeed paying attention to the song, entranced by the duet Kari and Freyja were able to create. She leaned back against Blizardwing, lulled into a sense of security by the song as Magnus finished his work. Blizzardwing cooed softly at the infant before turning to Freyja. "You two sound lovely together. You must practice often," she said in her deep voice. ______________________ » Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna With: Maeve | Location: Maeve's House » Reyna suppressed a scowl as Maeve suddenly grabbed her hands, certainly not as comfortable with physical contact as she was. Her odd greeting aside, the chemist's appearance was immediately off-putting to Reyna. "Erm, yes, she's very nice," she replied carefully as Maeve began to talk about her dragon, even moving to approach her. Reyna made no move to stop her, knowing Luna was likely fine with the attention. She, on the other hand, was already prepared to flee the situation. "Her saliva?" she echoed uncertainly. "It's true that Luna is half TImberjack despite her appearance, but... wait, shouldn't you be more worried about the fact that your house is smoking?" She gestured emphatically to the sulfurous smoke pouring out the front door, not sure how anyone could see such a thing happening to their own house and not be concerned. ______________________ » Luna « Stormcutter Hybrid - Delta Rider - Reyna Holgata With: Banekeeper | Location: Maeve's House » Luna didn't hesitate much as Maeve held out her hand, finding the girl quite interesting. She was already proving herself to be very different from her own partner, much more sociable and upbeat, if a bit eccentric. She allowed Maeve to press her hand against her flat snout, where her scales were more leathery and smooth. As she pulled away, she turned her attention to the other dragon, already somewhat familiar with him. "Banekeeper. I'm doing fine, just a bit tired," she replied, surprised that he could tell just from a look the fact that she hadn't even really confirmed herself. She'd had her suspicions, of course, having felt the changesin her body, but it was still too early to really tell for sure. She ducked her head somewhat shyly as he asked over the father. "Their father is Pyrrhus," she replied, obviously quite fond of the male in question. "It's still early, I haven't told him or Reyna yet." She cast a glance at said girl, who was busy trying not to appear too disgusted by the situation she found herself in.
☾ Kari Thorsdottir ☽ The Second In Command Dragon ~ Freyja Accompanied by Magnus Location ~ Above Berk
Kari snickered when Magnus quickly glanced away. That is what all people did when they heard the two sing. Kari always laughed lightly when they did. “Thank you..” Her gaze drifting to the small Snowwraith. She cooed at it and stuck her tongue out and crossed her eyes to make her look funny. After doing so she looked over at Magnus and scooted closer to look at his work. She was close enough to touch Magnus’ shoulder but that didn’t bother her. Her personal bubble and the idea of people having a personal bubble was beyond her, “Wow, you are amazing at this sort of thing!” Keeping her voice soft to not frighten the little Snowwraith, “You truly are a Caregiver!”
☾ Freyja☽ The Beta Deathsong - Threadtail Hybrid Rider ~ Kari Thorsdottir Accompanied by Blizzardfang Location ~ Above Berk
Freyja smiled warmly at the little dragon and kept her focus on it as she spoke, “Any time we can..” The Deathsong looked up at Blizzardfang, “You should try it, might help the little ones,” She tilted her head towards the Snowwraith infant, “get comfortable enough to trust you..” Freyja leaned her close enough to the infant Snowwraith to where their breaths almost mixed. She cooed at it and chirped like a bird to entertain it. “Ooh! Look at this!” Freyja puffed a small could of purple mist and watched the Snowwraith. LIttle dragons always loved to play with the mist whenever Freyja did used it. Some would rather play with her green/blue fire instead but the Deathsong assumed that the infant would prefer not to be burned.

Ismene Orestdottir - Rider of Kolr the Tide Glider Coastline Near Black Heart Bay Nightfire 's Atlas Douglas
She turned back around to Atlas, ordering her companion to knock it off before she did. The dirty blonde gave him a worried glance before shrugging off her drake with a childish grin. "No worries! If I had wanted him to do something, he would've done it already. Tide Gliders are very lithe creatures y'know? I would say one of the fastest," She paused, pale optics admiring her Kolr with love written within her expression. "One of the most elegant too. My fine Kolr happened to have a difference in his colors, since most Tide Gliders are a fine teal, he's a deep navy blue. It helps him camouflage easier in the ocean."
Ismene's gaze turned back to the attractive man, who seemed to have been afraid of her dragon, despite his lack of aggression. Sure, Kolr was tough towards newcomers, but that was his way of being nice. Just to assure the man, who's trickery had been so fine and so believable, especially for Ismene who was so blind to him, Ismene gave a whistle through her pearly whites, one that made Kolr flinch. The femme gave a sigh, beginning to get annoyed of this mysterious man's pleading., her bare, small foot beginning to roll the grains around. She was oblivious to the look that Kolr got, instead welcoming the man with a cute, genuine smile and a bubbly voice. "Well to begin with one, you're on Berk— so welcome! I'm Ismene Orestdottir, nice to meet you." She held her hand out in a gentle manner, small hands were cold from the lack of warmth since she had been out since early. "The nearest and safest place here is... well, possibly my house." Pausing, Ismene looked to see her companion's reaction. His eyes widened as was now glaring at her evilly. She gave out a small giggle and looked back to Atlas. "Trust me, Kolr doesn't live in the house with me. Since I couldn't build a house with a pool for Kolr in the Village, I moved out here so he could have somewhere to keep his body moisturized."
Ismene pondered for a second before shaking her head. "I understand if you don't like that idea, of staying with me until we get everything situated, but you can be glad and live with the other Villages if you'd like to." She gave an upset glare at the man, somewhat like a pout as her lower lip was slightly puckered out, and she had her sand-covered arms crossed. "Though in that process, you'd have to be introduced to everyone. The Commander, Second-In-Command, the rest of that Sky Scrapers, really." She couldn't tell if this man was very social or not, so for her to tell him this was in the hopes of scaring him into staying with her, despite having a threatening dragon. "If you do stay though, I can totally make sure Kolr doesn't bother you. Right buddy?" Her pretty crown turned back to her companion, who only rolled his eyes and huffed, which was his sign of defeat. She smiled happily, "Right so what would it be— uhm—" The molly cut herself off awkwardly, giving another giggle, but suddenly that attitude seemed more desperate and upset than ever. "I never asked your name did I? I'm so sorry! What is your name?"
~ Kolr, who was watching with slight annoyance, watched this man cautiously. Suddenly the two made eye contact, and his eyes gave off this dark glare, to then, Kolr felt that this man what not what it seemed. His glare was somewhat threatening, and mysterious like the man himself. Kolr, who didn't like that, rose his head in confusion at the sight. The way his eyes seemed to have that innocent glint within them, replacing that evil glint with fear. Kolr narrowed his own pale optics. This was odd, and he wasn't happy for this man washing up. Although he was doing nothing with Ismene, this human had ruined his day, definitely. Just as thought, Kolr picked back up on the conversation and heard her offer to let him stay with them. His eyes widened and he looked at his rider coldly— eyes narrowing as his cranium turned towards her. Ismene's giggle, however, calmed the drake for a quick second before he realized what was going on. Ismene made her decision to help this man if she wanted, and was asking for Kolr's assistance to be nice. He sighed dramatically and rolled his eyes, turning his gaze to the ocean as if he was saddened by this, but instead, he was boiling with anger. He didn't want this man on his home.
{ Note: Why are Atlas and Stormbreaker literally the best for infiltrator??? I honestly love them }

» Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna With: Maeve | Location: Maeve's House » Reyna couldn't possibly fathom how someone could not be panicking over the fact that their house was currently filled with a possibly-toxic smoke, but this girl seemed crazy enough to make what Reyna considered to be a completely illogical and poorly thought out decision. She just shook her head, sighing, and cast Luna an apologetic glance as Maeve all but threw herself into the Stormcutter's open mouth. She grimaced at the thought of having that much dragon saliva on her person; then again, she'd never been good with Luna's drool to begin with. For a moment she considered giving the strange girl a fake name, if only to make it so they'd never need to speak again, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. "Reyna," she replied simply. "And you are?" She hadn't taken the time to ask the other girl's name either, too engrossed in making a mental list of all the reasons she could never be a scientist herself. ______________________ » Luna « Stormcutter Hybrid - Delta Rider - Reyna Holgata With: Banekeeper | Location: Maeve's House » Luna opened her mouth to answer Banekeeper's question, but was interrupted as Maeve unceremoniously climbed inside her mouth. She suppressed the urge to jump and spit the girl out, not wanting to accidentally hurt her with her sharp teeth. She felt a gentle scrape against the back of her throat and then just like that, it was over. She gave her head a shake as Maeve moved out of her mouth again, casting Banekeeper a questioning glance. As his question over names, she replied, "Ah, no, like I said, I wasn't really sure until recently that I was going to have whelps, so I haven't given it much thought."

"Hah, I guess so," he admitted modestly, sitting back on his heels to give his work a quick once-over. "You pick up a few good tricks when you've been doing this for as long as I have." He smiled sheepishly at this. He'd inherited the work from his parents, who had filled a similar role as he had before the role of Caregiver had been formally established. ______________________ » Blizzardwing « Snow Wraith - Omega Rider - Magnus Tougarg With: Freyja | Location: Dragon Stables » Blizzardwing hummed, considering this. » The little Snow Wraith perked up at the sight of the cloud of smoke, reaching out one clawed wing to touch it in a curious manner. She didn't seem to be very playful, but she was definitely curious about the smoke and how it had originated, using her wing to move it around quietly until it eventually dissipated. She looked confused when this happened, head moving around as if looking for where it could have gone.

Freja heard Jagger’s voice in the early morning. She yawned and brushed her bright red hair, tucking part of it behind her left ear. She heard Sailsnap shift around in his bed, stuck in a dream-like state. The young viking grabbed her bag and stuffed her map inside before heading out. She looked over to the east, and saw Wave carrying his rider.
“Good morning, Jagger and Wave. How’s your day going so far? Sailsnap and I are just getting ready for the day. Did you catch breakfast for us yet?” She yelled out loud over the sound of the waves smashing against the coast.
Sailsnap Rider: Freja Huffterson Location: Dragon’s Edge Communicating with: Fortune Cookie (Jagger + Wave)
Sailsnap roared himself awake. The image of the map was seared in his mind, and he wanted to go and explore parts in the area near Dragon’s Edge. The Grapple Grounder slinked over to Freja’s side to see Wave flying close towards them. “Ah, good to see you up. I had stared at Freja’s map, and I noticed that there was dragon hunter ships in the direction you were going in. I thought we scorched them once Freja and I left that island I was captured on,” he mentioned to the Scauldron. Sailsnap sniffed the salty air coming from the sea below him. It smelled like it was going to rain.

Freja replied, “Fish. I had not ate one in such a long time since coming here. I would like to practice flying maneuvers today. Sailsnap replied to Wave, “Great. Good to know. I think Freja wants to practice battle maneuvers today. He dropped his catch on the platform next to the two vikings, giving a goofy grin on his face.
“Breakfast is served, riders!” He said.

. Maeve Ó Baoighill . Rider of Banekeeper the Threadtail [ Village | 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 's Reyna Holgata & Luna, 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 's Katla Hexum & Pyrrhus, MadFaith 's Eydis Arnulf & Spiritlight ]
“Maeve Ó Baoighill, for ‘she who intoxicates,’” she stated cheerfully, clasping both her hands around Reyna’s own and shaking it eagerly. When she finally let go—an awkward bit of time later of her just shaking and creepily smiling—strands of saliva momentarily connected the two of them, before the sticky, translucent threads broke apart and dangled in a wobbly manner on either’s hand. Maeve didn’t seem to notice or simply didn’t care.
“Fabulous to make your acquaintance, Raaay-na. Typically individuals stray away from my humble abode, but I see you’re different! We’re going to make the best of friends.” She took the rider into another strong embrace, the vantage point allowing her to spot a brownish orange spot in the distance. Maeve practically squealed with delight and threw one of her hand to point, accidentally flicking the access spit still in her palms onto Reyna’s face.
“Oh goodie! Another Stormcutter to compare samples!” The rider moved to mount Banekeeper, then paused, recalling she had a new friend to invite. She beckoned the opposing viking to follow. “Come my new friend! We have more work to be done." Slipping on her goggles, she tapped her Threadtail's shoulder and off they went into the air. It took a few moment to catch up with the group and she waved ecstatically as her dragon landed. "Hello there!" she called, gasping when she saw a Flightmare was also present. She slid off Banekeeper and skipped over. "Oh heavens above what a majestic creatures! Yes, yes, this will do! Would you mind if I took saliva samples? I think my assistant will help - presumably. Reyna? Reyna where did you go?"
{x} 'Ah, she does that from time to time,' Banekeeper observed through a half-lidded gaze. 'It’s for her research to discover which conflagrations function better with draconic sputum. Work in process, really. Thus far, Firequeen saliva seems the most viable, but we are searching for something more… obtainable. But if you ever need help with names, I am surprisingly adept.' As Maeve mounted him, the drake grinned. 'Well, here I go. By the sound of it, you two might be coming. Your rider doesn't seem that... comfortable with my rider, but I've never seen her this beaming. If you could convince her to follow, that would be quite helpful. If not, until next time, Luna.'

Lycaonia (I’ve been thinking about how this should go. If they find the Terror in the storage room, maybe something could happen? Perhaps it turns out that the dragon is really sick, or maybe being attacked by another dragon, etc. What do you think? Anything is fine with me ^^) Leif considered what Calder said, when he mentioned the ice that still clearly encased their village. They served as a daily reminder of what happened, and he couldn’t help but shudder at the memories. Though he supposed that when he wasn’t caring for dragons, he could find the time to help rebuild Berk. Signy’s fire was quite hot and strong, so the Deadly Nadder could definitely add her power to the other dragons in melting all the ice. It seemed that she preferred doing what Leif did, however; caring for young dragons. She usually kept quite a watchful eye over them, hovering them as if they were her own hatchlings. But with a bit of coaxing, Leif figured he would be able to convince her to help.
The viking perked up from where he was looking, turning his head to glance in Calder’s direction. His eyes followed the trail that the other man was referring to, which lead into the storage room. “Good find!” Leif exclaimed as he hurried over to where Calder was, kneeling down to carefully examine the claw marks. “Hmm. These are definitely small enough to be from a Terrible Terror.” He straightened himself and looked up at Calder excitedly. “I guess he really was here after all! Hopefully he’s still here, though…”
***
"You make a good point” Signy chirped to the Hobblegrunt amusedly. She turned her head to look at Einarr, studying for any changes in his color. “Are you picking up any signs of him?” The Nadder leaned down and pressed her nose to the dirt, in an attempt to help by searching for the Terror’s scent. Moving forward a few steps, she managed to catch somewhat of a faint trail in her senses, one that seemed to swell and grow stronger the further she went. The sound of her rider’s excited voice grabbed her attention, and with a flickering glance she noticed that the two humans were kneeling over something. “It seems they may have found a clue.”

» Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna With: Maeve | Location: Maeve's House » Reyna tried not to gag too much as she felt the dragon saliva on her hand, immediately moving to wipe it on the side of her pants as it was let go. "Yeah, different," she grumbled under her breath, trying frantically to think of an excuse to leave. She squeezed her eyes shut tight as spit from Maeve's hand splashed onto her face, groaning slightly, but Maeve had already moved on, excited by something else in the distance. She wiped her sleeve over her face, knowing she'd need to shower later. Luna's spit wasn't the worst, but she wasn't nearly as comfortable with it as Maeve apparently was.
» Luna, on the other hand, seemed delighted by this turn of events, a sound somewhat reminiscent of a human's laughter coming from her mouth as she watched the events unfold. Reyna shot the dragon her deadliest glare, but Luna was already used to it, simply turning to watch as Maeve and Banekeeper began to head toward the other Stormcutter. "What are you laughing at?" she scoffed. Luna simply turned around and nodded her head for Reyna to get on. Reyna blanched, afraid of what could possibly happen next. "Oh no, absolutely not. Luna, you can't seriously want to follow that uncouth girl! I am not going to get myself covered in dragon spit again!" she argued, but Luna was insistent.
» For a moment, the two stood silently, looking into each other's eyes as though having a mental argument. Finally, Reyna let out a groan, folding her arms and stalking over to Luna distastefully. "Fine, have it your way, you beast. But know that I'm not climbing in any dragon's mouth for her!" she insisted, hopping nimbly up into the Stormcutter's saddle. She clicked her tongue to let Luna know she was ready, and in a second they were in the air, Luna's two pairs of wings beating separately to propel them through the air quickly and nimbly. ______________________ » Luna « Stormcutter Hybrid - Delta Rider - Reyna Holgata With: Banekeeper | Location: Maeve's House » Luna watched them go, chuckling softly. They might not be the company that she and Reyna typically associated with, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't intrigued by Banekeeper and his eccentric rider. She looked at Reyna expectantly, crowing softly to let her know she wanted to follow. Reyna was, understandably, against the idea, but Luna tended to be more stubborn than she was. After a moment of quiet argument in which Luna really just stood there waiting, she stalked over and climbed on Luna's back. Perking up, Luna immediately gave a powerful beat of her wings to propel her into the air behind Banekeeper and Maeve.

Katla Hexum - Rider of Pyrrhus the Stormcutter | Village | ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע 's Maeve Ó Baoighill & Banekeeper | MadFaith 's Eydis Arnulf & Spiritlight | 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 's Reyna Holgata & Luna |
Katla, who had already handed Eydis her towels to dry, had been petting her companion with nervousness as she continued to watch Eydis. Their conversation had been going great, and in fact, Katla had begun to become proud of herself as she was opening up with the knight. Everything was so great, that Katla even let out a laugh before going into a coughing fit. What a record, you could imagine. The femme gently kissed the nose of her companion, who had cooed affectionately back in response, with his gigantic head nuzzling against hers. She knew how worried the pure-bred was, especially for his more cuddly affection and less water-related surprises. It worried Katla too— she hadn't been sick like this ever, and although her immune system was weak, she was extremely concerned by the amount of coughing. Last night, she hadn't given her Stormcutter a notice, but she had managed to hack up some blood. There was a lack of amount, but it was enough to concern her greatly.
Just as she continued to ponder, a loud, welcoming voice boomed into Katla's hearing, and immediately she cowered behind her tall beast. He, unlike his rider, gave a curious coo— head tilted to the right and his yellow optics staring down at the woman with wide, dilated pupils. He still seemed to act young, but Pyrrhus was one of the many who understood how friendly some humans could be. Especially the ones of Berk. Katla was impressed by his friendliness, often running from his encounters unless it was absolutely necessary, muttering numerous apologies as she attempted to pull him away from the scene. Katla, was extremely shy, and for this woman to come from the sudden and ask to take samples of Pyrrhus? Katla was shivering behind him. Instead of moving, she felt a wing drape over her protectively and scoot her forward. Shyly, she covered her face and uttered. "S-Sure." Yet, her response seemed uncertain, and her own curiosity kicked at her. "W-What do y-y-y-you need it fo-or?"
Just as Katla thought this stranger was the only one, she watched as another duo followed closely behind, and she huddled closer into her rare dragon's wing for protection from interaction. Instead, he kept it draped open to force her to interact, and his body radiated a warmth that had put an ease to her. She listened to his happy cry— more like a coo, really— as the femme and her opposing dragon appeared. Katla felt as she knew the two, but really, she knew nobody.
~ The high-ranking masculine cooed in both confusion and delight. He never met Banekeeper's rider, but had met the dragon. After all, as Beta, Pyrrhus portrayed himself as the more, light-hearted creature that was the softest of all their higher-ups. He had also made up to his name, as he was the sweetest and friendliest. He looked down at the woman with curious eyes, and acknowledged her by placing his other wing on her shoulder, giving her a friendly coo. With his other win, he pushed his rider out forward, to continue to make her communicate, and noticing the Threadtail behind, Pyrrhus smiled. 'Hey Banekeeper! Haven't seen you in a bit. How's everything been?'
The Stormcutter kept his happy demeanor, but once he realized who was bringing her own rider towards the trio, he let out an excited roar, spitting a light mist of saliva onto the scientist accidentally. 'Luna!' He cried happily, letting his back wings begin to move with excitement. Instead of running forward and discarding his calm composure, Pyrrhus gave a toothy grin of pure happiness as he watched his beloved make her way towards all three of the dragons and riders.

Sigurd Afargus - Rider of Ladon the Exotic Moldruffle | Dragon Spine Range | Lycaonia 's Eerika Ljungstrand & Runa |
The tanned male nodded, surprised as to what exactly to do. Sigurd believed they would be somewhat easy to catch, but judging by Eerika's words, they were much more harder to capture. Instead of going head first into finding them, Sigurd decided he would try to make a plan before attacking. However, he wouldn't have to deal with that until he caught sight of the mammals. His eyes remained on Eerika as she pondered, and when she began to speak, Sigurd became all-ears.
When Eerika concluded her first propose, Sigurd gave a warm smile. "I'm not that good. But I suppose you could say I am." He winked, somewhat a bit different, but being a clique meant Sigurd had broken his typical laid-back nature and gave something new every so often. He looked down at his dragon, who seemed to be listening in onto Eerika's plan. Sigurd, himself, though it would great to just practice hunting goat. However, there was always his dragon's own wants, that Sigurd usually spoiled Ladon with. Not to mention, the woman's own impressive drake was most likely an excellent hunter, despite their sharp wings. Sigurd knew how competitive Ladon can become, but perhaps Runa could teach his Rockstomper something new. "Well maybe we could switch something up? While we hunt the facing side of the group, Ladon and Runa could go towards the back— away from our crossfire— and hunt for themselves too?" His aquatic eyes glinted with a happiness, which could typically be found while he was hunting. He gently patted Ladon's neck, while his gaze remained on Eerika. "What do you think?"
~ Ladon shrugged, letting out a chuckle. 'Even so, I'm a mixture of both. The hint of blue amongst my hide I take a liking to, and my skin is definitely tough.' The hunter grinned, his tone joking before his attention was gained by the Timberjack's rider. He watched in curiosity, and the thoughts that escaped his own rider's mouth was just enough to put Ladon at ease. He knew his rider chose best for the both of them. His horned cranium began to turn back to his comrade, and he hesitated. 'Even if it's average, it's great nonetheless.' The lavender beast gave a welcoming, gentle smile to his comrade. Once more, there was a pause that came from him, and instead, he shook his head. 'I think I'm maxed out. I became fully grown almost a year ago, and my fire stopped growing around that time. It's possibly good, despite it stopping a bit early.'

» Magnus Tougard « The Caretaker Dragon - Blizzardwing With: Kari | Location: Dragon Stables » Magnus felt a bit self-conscious with Kari leaning over his shoulder, but he didn't express it. She'd never been much of a singer before, her own voice quite deep and untrained in such an art. "Hmm, I've never been much of a singer," she replied, her shy side coming back a bit at the mention of trying something she wasn't really comfortable with.

Kari followed Magnus’ steps and sat back on her heels. She laid her hands on her lap and smiled at the other, “I bet you do!” She quickly glanced over at Freyja and Blizzardfang. She felt her heart melt at the sight of the two playing with the small Snowwraith. She looked back at Magnus and raised an eyebrow, “Mind teaching me some tricks? Maybe I can show you show you some tricks along the way..” She winked and laughed lightly. Seeing Magnus perform insane tricks like she did would be a blast for sure. Only if he was up to it though.

Freyja laughed at both Blizzardfang and the small Snowwraith, “Maybe one day!” She then watched the small Snowwraith play with her cloud of mist. She brought her head close to the smaller dragon once more and smiled, “Want to see it again?” The Deathsong puffed a cloud of purple mist and watched the reaction of the infant.

(I just wanted to update you all, I haven't really had the time lately to write out a long response and I am so sorry for my inactivity. My exams finish on the 14th and then I fly home for (a well deserved) Christmas break. I should be on much more during that time, but lately, it just has not been possible. Still very interested in continuing to rp here if at all possible.)

"Maybe," he replied simply, "Though if you really want to learn, you'll have to come by more often. You can't learn to be a Caretaker in a day, after all." He pushed himself to his feet, moving to fill a small bowl in the corner of the habitat with food from a bag. "It's not easy work either. Baby dragons are a real handful, and not all of the dragons that pass through my door can be saved." “Oh, there you are!” she cheered upon spotting Luna land with her rider in tow. Maeve had begun to worry her new friend had abandoned her—like the countless others before. But Reyna was better than all those traitors; they were destined to become best friends for life!
“Comparing samples,” the chemist practically purred, delighted, patting the timid femme on the head. “Sputum from a purebred Stormcutter fire duct with that of a hybrid one. A harmless procedure, but one that can open many doors in the future if executed properly! Hopefully Stormcutters have a more potent firepower. From what I’ve seen from Cloudjumper, not only are the flames tempered above normal, but it’s also controlled into a singular torus! How utter mind-boggling!” Maeve mentioned to Reyna and took a glass tube from her belt. “This is Reyna, my best friend. We met a few seconds ago but our connection is so strong.” She handed the capsule to Luna’s rider and pointed cheerfully towards Pyrrhus. “I think you should try this one, while I take the Flightmare! Just reach out to the back of the throat and there’s a gullet pouch. Scrape the sides and viola, sample completed!”
The chemist cheerfully grinned, wholeheartedly believing the rider would execute such a simple procedure.
{x} Tilting his weight towards the left, the dragon’s wings caught a shaft of fresh wind that propelled him in an elegant bank towards the ground. The ground initially met his hind-legs before he doubled over and landed completely on quadruped means—lengthy neck lowering into a greeting bow.
'Greetings, Pyrrhus,' he oozed, straightening and pulling his wings close together. Then at the Stormcutter’s cheerful cry, the Threadtail offered a small chuckle, not having to look back to spot who’d come.
'So you came,' Banekeeper cooed. He brought his tail around his tails, bobbing his head in thought.

» Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna With: Maeve, Eydis & Katla | Location: Berk » Reyna stuck close to Luna as the two approached the large group, starting to feel uncomfortably outnumbered. It was an odd physical response to have to a group considering they didn't even really know her, but, well, the mind did weird things sometimes. However, Luna was quick to abandon her in favor of meeting up with Pyrrhus, a joyful sound coming from the large dragon as she picked up her pace. "Traitor," she hissed under her breath, shooting Luna a scornful look, but she didn't seem to notice, too wrapped up in what was apparently a very joyful occassion. Huh. Reyna would have to pay closer attention; she hadn't realized how close she'd gotten with the male Stormcutter.
» She recoiled slightly as Maeve suddenly shoved the bottle into her hands, already spreading the news of their apparent close friendship to everyone else in attendance. Fantastic. "Absolutely not. Dragon spit and I don't get along," she replied, not bothering to sugarcoat her words this time around. In the face of something she considered supremely disgusting, she wasn't about to comproise her cleanliness just to appear okay with the situation. She cast a curious glance at the other riders, wondering what they thought of the situation. ______________________ » Luna « Stormcutter Hybrid - Delta Rider - Reyna Holgata With: Banekeeper, Spiritlight & Pyrrhus | Location: Berk » Luna could practically feel Reyna's discomfort radiating off her in waves. Sympathetic, she stuck close to Reyna, offering her a form of familiarity amidst the chaos. However, these thoughts quickly went out the window when she spotted Pyrrhus among the dragons gathered. She picked up the pace, trotting forward and eagerly pressing herself against Pyrrhus's side. "Hey," she greeted with a toothy grin, nosing under the larger Stormcutter's chin affectionately. She'd never been one to shy away from physical contact, being quite cuddly and affectionate by nature. "It seems something exciting is going on. I hope I didn't interrupt anything."

She sat there with her head slightly hung. The rider only looked up to watch Freyja and the small Snowwraith playing. The sight warmed her heart enough to lighten her mood. “Do you need help with anything at the moment?” She smiled warmly and padded her dragons side before getting up to her feet and stretching.

And when you are, we will have many great adventures!” The Deathsong watched the Snowwraith play with her smoke before it dissipated. She then parted her jaw slightly and sat out a little piece of amber which looked like a deformed heart but it was recognizable, “Will you look at that?” She picked up the now hardened amber with her long tail and placed where the Snowwraith could easily grab it.
