Plot- Plot idea #1- Character A and B have grown up close friends, both obsessed with the supernatural and magical. One day, walking home from __ a portal opens in front of them and magical mist darts out grabs them and pulls them through. Timeskip to 6 years later. (I'll start us off but I forgot to ask, should we start before the timeskip or after?)

Chance laughed as he said goodbye to some of his swim class friends and he ran towards the South side of the school, where he'd meet his best friend and as always they'd walk home together. It was nice that they were neighbors too. As he ran Chance tied his damp black hair back and held tightly to his backpack on his left shoulder. Racing by some others he waved and hurried his pace. The young man had wonderful news for his friend! After months upon months of endless chores and babysitting duties, his mom got them tickets to the Monster Fest this weekend. he would have told him when they walked to school this morning but got completely sidetracked talking about D&D with him.

Bruno was leaning against the cold brick wall at one side of the school. He had his nose deep in a book, though he didn't really seem to be interested in it. The boy had his bag placed next to him. It was beginning to become unreasonably heavy from the book he had stuffed inside it. The boy shivered as a cold breeze blew by. He huffed as he decided to put the book down, as he was beginning to just skim over each page instead of actually reading them. He fiddled with a dark brown, woven bracelet that was tied loosely around his tan wrist.

Finally coming to a skidding stop, Chance grinned as his eyes scanned and found his target- erm, friend. "Bruno!" he called, though that was probably not needed. Jogging over, he flung his arms around him, with a goofy grin. "Guess what? I have the very best news!" he exclaimed, before pulling back with a sheepish smile. Rubbing the back of his neck, he mentally scolded himself for being so clingy. It was a bad habit he had but only around his best friend. Calming down somewhat, Chance balanced on the balls of his feet waiting anxiously for Bruno to guess.

Bruno looked up and waved. He then let out a grunt as the boy hugged him. He smiled and put his hands on Chance's shoulders, trying to help him calm down. "Oh yeah? What is it?" He asked with a slight laugh. He gave his friend a charming smile, wondering hoe he could always be so energetic.

Bouncing up and down excitedly, he clasped his hands together. "Tickets! I got tickets to the Monster Fest this weekend!" he cried happily. "We should totally get costumes! Whatcha think?" he spoke rapidly and was smiling wide enough one would think his face would break in two.

Bruno looked st the tickets and grabbed them gently from the other boy’s hands, “now what. Let me see!” He said as he examined them. He then beamed, “this is awesome!” He said with a smile, now understanding why the boy was so excited. He gave them back to Chance and confused to smile. He then grabbed his bag, “let’s get going. My mom’s going to start to get worried.” He said with an eye roll.
