Welcome one and all to the Ambiguous Story Writing Challenge! I imagine there's a chance some of you remember it from the old forums, but most of you probably don't, so let me tell you what it's all about!
In the Ambiguous Story Writing Challenge, five people will enter to write a short story, five chapters long, and each chapter will be graded out of five on theme, plot, characters and grammar (and associated things). At the end of the contest, the story with the highest overall score will be declared the winner.
Each chapter will generally have two weeks to be written (though extensions can be given on a case-by-case basis, and if everyone finishes before the end of the deadline, we can move on to the next chapter early).
So what's the catch? For each chapter, you'll be given a theme to write that chapter based on, while staying consistent to the plot of your overall book! This challenge will test your creativity and adaptability- are you up for it?
