Joining Page: wcrpforums.com/thread/64160/echoclan-joining-pageApplestar rose from the nest and padded out to the camp clearing, their eyes scanning the mostly empty camp. It seemed that most of the Clan was still asleep, and Applestar could see why; it was still rather dark out. Though dawn would be coming soon, it was still early enough for Applestar to see stars in the sky. Blinking, the Clan leader stretched out their jaws in a yawn. They would have to ask Koibrook about joining an early patrol today. Applestar actually preferred the early morning patrols. It was actually how they work up in the morning, getting out and staying active. Within their small Clan, Applestar was the oldest, and they definitely felt it. Moons and moons of running through the trees wore on their legs. If they didn't stretch in the mornings, they found themself with a dull ache in their bones.
Cherrypaw rested in her nest, her sides rising rhythmically with her breathing. In her dreams, the half white torbie dreamed of chasing squirrels through the branches of her favorite stretch of trees. Her blue eyes narrowed as she went in for the kill. Right as she was about to pounce, Cherrypaw woke up. Disappointment flooded her as she looked around the apprentices' den. What a nice dream, she thought, ears flattening. She wished she could continue it, but she knew if she went back to sleep, she wouldn't be awake in time for training with her mentor. The apprentice blinked and snuggled down into her mossy nest. Even if she couldn't sleep, she could enjoy her warm nest for a little while longer. ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע ivysaur Eveningshadow

Spiderpaw was sprawled out on her nest, belly facing up as she slept. Bits of moss were strewn out beneath her. She was notorious for being a restless sleeper, body twisting and turning at night as if she was never comfortable. This time, however, she was actually well rested despite what her position showed. Her light snores eventually slowed to a stop and the apprentice blinked awake. The only thing in her hazy vision was an upside down image of Cherrypaw. "Good morning," she said in a sleepy whisper. She yawned and stretched her long legs, eventually rolling over and shaking pieces of her moss off her dark fur. She focused on the entrance of the den, trying to see what time of day it was. "It's...so early." Like her fellow apprentice, she wasn't keen leaving the comfort of their den. She crouched back down and rested her head down on her paws. She'd get up when Cherrypaw would or if Koibrook called her, whichever came first.
