(I... hope these are okay. If Rapidlash is pushing a bit, I'll happily make a different character. This clan looks different and has an interesting set-up. Also forgive me if I screwed up the coding I've always been terrible with it.) Rapidlash humility & determination

โพ Rapidlash is a massive, broad-shouldered dark ginger tabby, with white hind paws and a white front right paw. She has bright amber eyes, large paws, and a thick pelt littered with scars, with two forming an x-shape across her chest, a nicked ear, claw marks on her right hindquarters, and the scars from a bite wound on her left shoulder. Despite her burly and aggressive-looking appearance, Rapidlash is rather humble, and even a bit playful, showing enjoyment in the smallest things, an expressing unusual patience. Despite this, once she does get an idea in her head, it can be difficult to change her min, even if it's obviously not a good idea. One she gets in a fight, she won't stop until her opponent flees or she's dead, an her bull-headed determination can get her in trouble. She's usually friendly enough to Graceclan cats, but can be passive-aggressive with high-ranking clan cats and toms.
โพ Rapidlash is a current loner, and former member of Graceclan, where she was known as Gingerlight. Even from the beginning, she failed to meet the social expectations, always throwing herself into battle and showing no interest in toms. This was because her romantic interests leaned towards she-cats, and only a moon after she became a warrior, she fled her clan late at night, unable to tolerate the idea of being forced into a relationship with a cat she didn't like, and having no desire to bear kits with a tom. While she is usually nonviolent, she can be short-tempered with Graceclan toms and high-ranking cats, and shows strong distaste for the Warrior Code. She now lives at the fringes of their territory, going by the name Rapidlash.

Swanfrost discipline & loyalty

โพ Swanfrost is a tall, slender black tom, with a white chest, white legs, and a white markings over his eyes shaped the faintest bit like wings. He has a thin face, pale green eyes, and a long, thin tail. Swanfrost was named for his cold and stern nature, and he can be a bit difficult to get along with, but he allows himself to remain open enough to avoid gathering any stigma for his nature. He can be rather strict with apprentices, even if they aren't his own, and his near expressionless face, lack of body language, and flat tone can make it hard to tell what he's thinking. Despite everything, he closely observes the traditions of the clan, and does what is asked of him without question.
โพ Swanfrost was the only kit in his litter, quiet and distant even from the start. Despite a bumpy beginning, he quickly learned what was expected of him and adjusted to fit it. He walked with more grace, became unquestioningly obedient, and held himself with silent dignity. It would take quite a bit to make him question his clan's traditions.

Owlstrike wasnโt aware of the other she-cats slight dig, although she did feel bad she cut her swim short. She just wanted to chat, really, and didnโt mean any interruption. She hasitly placed her prey in the hole she had dug, covering it swiftly, and then catching up to Dapplefern. โI mean, you can fish if you want, I didnโt mean to interruptโ She stated sheepishly. โ I could just take these mice back to the clan, or you can fish and then we can walk back together?โ Owlstrike suggested. Maybe watching the she-cat fish might somehow help her get better at fishing,Owlstrike wasnโt sure. Her tail twitched nervously. {I still have Flintfoot and Buck open if anyone wants!} |

Cinderrose ;; { lavishly - graceclan territory }
The calico trotted after Paleflight, giving her chest fur a few licks before doing so. She hoped her time grooming her pelt wouldn't be wasted by soiling it on their hunt. Cinderrose took an excessive amount of pride in her appearance, always. It didn't matter what she was doing - looking her best was one of her priorities, if not the first.
The scent of others told Cinderrose that her clanmates had already gone out for the day. More competition, she mused, hoping that no one had startled prey away already. That was unlikely, but there was always the possibility. Hopefully they haven't gone towards our destination yet.
The excitement in her companions eyes let the she-cat feel a little more at ease. She knew Paleflight was an excitable feline, so that must mean he was looking forward to their hunt. A small smile broke Cinderrose's muzzle as she padded by his side, pelts nearly brushing. It was a rare occurrence for someone to enjoy her company. Normally, she would keep off to herself while she worked around the camp. It had always been like that; the calico never felt really apart of GraceClan. But now, despite not having been pleased with having Paleflight as a mate at first, Cinderrose was beginning to feel more connected with her clan. When she was first paired with the tom, she had been almost angry. Why would some random starry cats be allowed to choose their futures? The she-cat had been terrified of the idea of spending the rest of her life, stuck with someone she barely liked. However, now that she was beginning to know Paleflight, her anger was fading, replaced by a rather contented feeling.
Although, that didn't mean Cinderrose was ready to settle down and have a family. She has her own personal reasons to feel she would never be ready to perform that duty.
As they reached the highest portion of GraceClan territory, Cinderrose at where the waterfall emptied in the river, its thundering noise reaching her ears. The lithe warrior began sniffing around, searching for any signs of rabbits or any other animals they could bring home.
( sorry for the late reply; it didn't save what i had originally written  also, i have bramblefur, coalpaw and ebonypaw open! my apprentices need mentors btw.. i think they all do. and bramblefur could have a mate if needed! though he isn't the most romantic or affectionate cat around. )

(Rapidlash and Swanfrost are both great, adding now! I'll get sprites up in a minute and assign mentors to all the apprentices [sorry, I usually keep up with it but it slipped my mind this time in favor of assigning mates and such]. I don't have anything terribly important or time consuming to do today other than some packing and cleaning up so I will try to finally redo the territory map and stuff so we can actually have a functional, finished territory and all that. As well as update the plots list with the things that have been mentioned, and all that good stuff.)
Rapidlash and Swanfrost. Sorry if the eye markings aren't quite right. I wasn't 100% sure what they were intended to look like, plus there's only so much detail to the shape I can do within an area of about 14x8 pixels lol. But if it's not quite right I can change it a little bit to be, if not entirely, then more accurate.
(Okay, about relationships and mentors and mates and all that good stuff! Silverpaw is apprenticed to Azureriver, Scoutpaw to Dapplefern, Whiskerpaw to Bramblefur, Ebonypaw to Flintfoot, and Coalpaw to Applecloud. Since there's more of a gender divide in this Clan, I made sure to assign she-cats to she-cats and toms to toms. Also, my reasoning was that only younger she-cats are assigned apprentices, as after a certain age they're expected to spend most of their time in the nursery and having an apprentice would discourage that; meanwhile, for toms, older cats are preferred as they would be thought to be wiser and more skilled. Thus, why Paleflight doesn't have an apprentice but both of his sisters do, for example. Also, Cinderrose did not and, unless there's far too many, probably won't get an apprentice since she was born outside the Clan and is probably still treated like an outsider in some minor ways. Basically, I like causing conflict :)
Now, glancing back over at previous posts, time to get some mates settled once and for all. I think we agreed on Snakefang + Owlstrike, and Cottonwing + Skypaw? Paleflight + Cinderrose, Thistletuft + Dapplefern, and Sleekfoot + Daisywind have also been confirmed. So that leaves Flintfoot, Swanfrost, and [technically] Snowfang, but there aren't any she-cats in his age range. What makes the most sense is probably Flintfoot + Applecloud, and Swanfrost + Azureriver.
Finally, some relationship suggestions. I know a while ago I had suggested that Owlstrike could possibly be littermates with Azureriver since they're the same age? I think Raven agreed but I didn't get a yay or nay from Venom . Flintfoot and Sleekfoot are also the same age and some similar traits [slender and solid colored, mainly] plus the same suffix, so maybe they could be littermates.)

It should have been quite peaceful among her clanmates in the camp, looking at the streaks of weak light making patterns of the forest floor. However, Cottonwing was really just idling, and that made her mind wander to unpleasant places. The young warrior had seemingly gone to one of those unpleasant places, eyes focused on some distant point as she paced mindlessly. that is, until the sounds of cats moving back and forth and loud birdcall took her back to reality. Trying to look as productive as possible, she headed out the camp entrance to go and do... something, anything that could keep her occupied. Gathering herbs, hunting, whatever was necessary. She could vaguely scent Azureriver and Dapplefern, weak against the assorted mixture of cats who headed through here every day but the freshest ones there- maybe they'd gone out earlier? She wouldn't mind running into either of them, provided it wouldn't be an annoyance. She wouldn't be bothersome, would she?
The chocolate-colored warrior appeared little more than an extension of the shadows as she headed back to camp, dark fur blending into the trunks of the trees easily. A couple of young rabbits were clamped between her jaws, still fragrant and soft from being recently killed, and she had buried a blackbird nearby. Yes, getting up much earlier than everyone else had to hunt made her want to fall asleep on her paws, but the prey seemed to be as drowsy as she felt. She almost felt bad for how easily she'd caught them.
As Sleekfoot headed back into the camp, she noted with some displeasure that everyone else was already rising from sleep- there went her hopes for a few winks before patrols started up. Oh well, she was sure she could handle being a little tired, and the greenleaf sun would probably chase the bleariness from her eyes. The molly headed towards the elders den with her other catch, wondering if Aspenleaf was awake yet.

(Oops so I just realized two things. One, I forgot to give Bramblefur a mate. The only she-cat who's more or less in his age range is Fawnpetal, but that sort of works out anyways since there aren't really a lot of she-cats left at all, besides the really young ones that might not get mates at all. Second, I realized that if Azureriver and Owlstrike become littermates, then that means Owlstrike and Snakefang are siblings so they couldn't be mates. Oops.)

I do prefer fishing over hunting and seeing that you already caught a few mice, it might be best if we bring back a variety of prey. But I donโt want you chatting while I am fishing, itโll scare them away. So you can watch and then we can walk back together.โ She agreed, flicking her tail to hit the grass as she passed it.
โIf, youโd like, I could give you a lesson on how to fish. It will be good practice for me for when I teach Scoutpaw how to fish,โ She explained, her eyes twinkling at the mention of her apprentice.
She had watched Scoutpaw grow up from kit to apprentice and had been excited to learn that she would be her mentor. She just knew that she would be a good mentor for the younger she-cat and make her clan proud.

Paleflight knew that they had come this way to hunt for rabbits, but he couldnโt bring himself to start just yet. Instead the tom sat and curled his tail around his paws, gazing at the waterfall and its majestic beauty. The clear blue water looked white and foamy as it rushed of the cliff and into the river below.
He had always enjoyed that water, being born to a queen who practically lived in it. He remembered the shock he felt when he had learned that his mother had drowned in the water she loved so much. He had never dreamed that the river would do such a thing to her. It had always seemed to care for her, its glossy waves welcoming her into its embrace each time she entered the water. He wondered if that was why the river decided to take her. Perhaps it loved her so much that it wanted to keep her with it for forever.
Paleflight didnโt believe in Starclan, but he did find it possible that if there was an afterlife, that it would make sense that the cat was joined to whatever it loved the most. But if that were true, he did feel sorry for those who loved to hunt. He couldnโt imagine what it would be like to become part of the prey they so eagerly caught.

Expecting Paleflight to be following her, Cinderrose was perplexed to find the tom was not behind her. Frowning, the molly turned, realizing her mate was seated near the waterfall. A spark of annoyance flitted through her eyes; they hadn't journeyed up here to laze around. Though the tom's gaze was wistful as he stared at the cascading water and Cinderrose debated if she would rouse him just yet. She became curious as to why the ginger tom was looking at the water that way.
Then it hit her. Not long ago, Paleflight's mother had fallen victim to the depths of the river. He must be thinking of her. Cinderrose tried to feel sympathetic, but she never had a relationship with her parents. She couldn't even remember her mother's name at this point. Her paws moved to join Paleflight, but she hesitated. Nothing she said would do any good. With a short exhale, the warrior turned back around and continued her search for prey. A faint scent of rabbit hit her nose as she went further over the hill, telling her that prey wasn't far. The feline made sure to keep her pawsteps silent and her scent downwind as she slunk through the overgrown grasses. The roar of the waterfall was growing faint as the scent grew stronger and Cinderrose thought she could see ears sticking up behind a bush.
Immediately dropping into a hunter's crouch, the calico made sure she was hidden within the tall plants. Her pale coat would aid her camouflage, but the wind was beginning to change direction. She would have to move fast. Now the rabbit was in full view, grooming itself as it relaxed beneath a gorse bush. Perfect.
Cinderrose was bunching her muscles to pounce when a sudden rustling ahead of her alerted her prey. The animal looked up in alarm, nostrils flaring as it scented for danger. Fox dung, Cinderrose cursed to herself as the rabbit leaped out from under the plant. The molly broke out into a full sprint after the moor creature, taking long, bounding strides to keep up with the rabbit. As she came closer to her target, she began estimating how far she would need to leap if she wanted to trap the animal. She needed to be quick in her planning; the rabbit knew it was in danger now. After a few more heartbeats, Cinderrose took a flying leap, landing almost perfectly on her catch. The animal squealed as it was captured, trapped underneath its pursuer and putting up a struggle. The warrior snarled as she pinned the rabbit down, swiftly leaning down to end the hunt. Her jaws sank into the prey's throat, killing it almost instantly. She waited until its limbs were still before straightening back up and making her way back to the waterfall.
( btw i thought applecloud was coalpaw's mentor? )

((Sandy Pond still works for our cats, right? I figured it wasnโt too hard to transition them to there. It has a waterfall and itโs fairly close to the meadow where they could find the rabbits.))

Paleflight was pulled from his thoughts at the sound of a screech. Blinking, he flicked his gaze around him and frowned. He must have lost himself in his own world, something that happened often. He didnโt see Cinderrose around, so he figured she must have wandered off to go hunting by herself.
Sighing, Paleflight got to his paws and headed in the direction that he heard the squeal come from. He wondered if it bothered Cinderrose that he had just stopped and stared off into the distance; losing himself to his thoughts and becoming unaware of his surroundings. It happened often and it usually annoyed Dapplefern, though Skypaw and Applecloud always took it in stride. He hoped that Cinderrose wouldnโt be upset with him.
He spotted the she-cat coming towards him with a rabbit in her jaws and he cleared his throat as he met her. โNice catch!โ He congratulated her, though the compliment didnโt sound genuine. He was so concerned by how she might respond to his actions earlier that he wasnโt paying attention to his actions at present and by doing so, his behavior projected an uncaring attitude, though he truly didnโt mean it.

~ lavishly ~ Azureriver frowned, โYou are terribly missed back at camp but I would never force you back to return,โ She flattened her ears to her skull, โI used to contemplate leaving the camp, I still do actually. I could never leave Silverpaw though. She is far too young and I know Snakefang would take care of her but..โ She sighed, her shoulders drooping a bit, โI just canโt.โ
As the invite, Azureriver smiled and nodded, โI might bring you vole once in a while!โ She joked and chuckled lightly at her own joke.
