A black and grey tom perched upon a tree, surveying the world around him. Ears swiveled back and forth, focusing on the sounds of the forest and the Thunderpath for a brief second before changing focus to the running river that RiverClan was named for. In the meantime, the tom's yellow-green eyes flitted across the landscape, taking in the greenery of the forests and the small, puffy cumulus clouds in the distance.
((Tornadopelt looking to help out any cats in need! Also, for this RP, the Warriors Main Series's territories will be set up in Tornado Alley in the US, with a similar setup but different lands. The Twolegplace will be a town near the border between Kansas and Missouri, and the RiverClan river will be the Missouri River. ThunderClan's territory will still be in a forest, and WindClan will be out in the prairie, as will ShadowClan. New title!)

She flicked her gaze to a few storm clouds on the horizon. Hope it's not a hurricane, by yelling whippersnappers. She was young, but she used big, old words as curse words. She sighed, and headed off to catch some fresh-kill to sooth the rumbling hunger in her stomach. She raised her head and pricked her ears, and started to follow a scent trail that lead to a dove with her eggs. By lord, such wonderful food. She licked her lips and used her muscular legs to spring up into the tree, and the dove squawked and tried to poke her eye. She tossed the bird aside, and it was cawing with anger and shock. She gulped the eggs down, and killed the bird with a swift blow to the neck. Yes, very satisfying. I'd better go back to my den. By lord, that storm looks exactly like a hurricane tumbling it's way toward me, hungry for chaos and destruction.

Raindapple's ear flicked lazily as she patrolled her clan's border. The RiverClan cats fur fluffed out, blocking out the wind that was rapidly picking up, she didn't like the look of those clouds. The she-cat was about to turn back to report her findings to her leader when she caught the scent of another cat. Her blue eyes scanned the forest ahead of her, ears perked for any sign of trouble. She wasn't looking for a fight, just wanted to make sure the borders were being respected.

The tom made his way down his particular tree, a tree within ThunderClan territory but closer to the RiverClan border than the other cats of his Clan appeared comfortable with. "Another nice day with a decent view of the land. There's a reason why this tree is awesome and--" The moment all four paws made contact with solid earth, his musings were stopped dead in their tracks and his eyes locked onto a RiverClan cat, widening in surprise. "...and now I see why the others weren't comfortable with this tree." he muttered to nobody in particular. The look on his face was one of comical proportions, pupils shrunk and face slightly reddening as if caught in an embarrassing moment. The tom was trying to stay relatively still... and a stray leaf emphatically put those plans to an end as it brushed past his nose and he sneezed. Loudly.

Raindapple watched the tom meander down the tree, she wasn't sure if he was speaking to her or just talking to himself. But the moment of confusion quickly vanished as he got closer to her territory. Her hackles raised slightly, her tail lashing, "Mind the borders." There was a slight growl to the undertone of her voice as she spoke.

"Oh. Yeah, sorry about that." The tom had a sheepish look to his face. He also held up a paw in a placating gesture, pads facing the she-cat as he nodded and backed off a bit, moving a little more into ThunderClan's side of the border. "We can talk from here, right?"

Raindapple's fur lay flat as the tom backed away. "Sure, not sure what you'd want to talk about though..." A rumble behind her and the she-cat's ears flicked to the darkening clouds rapidly approaching. "You may want to speak fast, I have to deliver a report to my leader, the storm is coming in fast."

The tom nodded. "Yeah, looks like it could grow to severe status."

"So what did you want to say?" Raindapple's voice was a bit sharper than she had intended, but this tom seemed as though they were just trying to waste her time. Her tail lashed as she glanced back at the clouds, and then returned her attention to the tom.

"Just wanted to say sorry for being closer to the border than I thought I was. My bad on that one," the tom replied. "By the way, my name's Tornadopelt."

Raindapple was slightly taken aback by the ThunderClan cat's apology, not something that happened between the clans that frequently, "Um, ya. No worries, I guess." She was about to turn and return to her camp when he introduced himself, turning back ever so slightly, she furrowed her brow slightly, "Um, hi Tornadopelt, I'm Raindapple."

"Nice to meet ya!" Tornadopelt's gaze then flicked over to the storm clouds building, then back to Raindapple. "Gotta love newleaf here in the Alley... had to get Firestar's approval to dig ThunderClan a fraidyhole."

The only recognition that Raindapple gave that she had heard the tom was a flick of his ear as she walked away. He's an interesting tom...
