(Cats will be added as we go.) Lilystar (Leader of Streamclan) Nightshade (Warrior of Streamclan) Wildbloom (Queen of Streamclan)
Lilystar padded out of her den and stretched. What a lovely day. I should go hunting, on such a nice day. Light rain sprinkled on Lilystar, and she looked up. Morning dew glistened on the Orange Blossoms, and the crisp morning air still lingered. The sun was determined to shine on the ground, stubbornly peeking out from behind the clouds. She sighed with content, as she like the rain. It felt cool as it dribbled down her shoulders. She shook herself and grabbed some prey from the prey pile and gulped a mouse down.

Nightshade stretched languidly as he emerged from the Warrior's den. The pitch black tom allowed his greenish-yellow eyes to lazily scan around the camp, before settling on their Leader. He padded softly over, paws barely making a sound as he snatched a vole from the prey pile. "Morning Lilystar," He murmured around a yawn as he settled down near the she-cat, "Everything clear this morning?"
Wildbloom's rough, multicoloured coat was getting a thorough washing as she lay in the Queen's den. She was very near her time with, according to their Medicine Cat, somewhere between two and four kits by the size of her belly. With the amount her kits were wriggling, she felt sure it would be at the top end of that estimate. She wondered where her mate was, but settled down to nap a bit longer.
((If anyone wants to RP Wildbloom's mate or one of her kits when they're born, feel free to ask ^^ Otherwise, I'll do it myself.))

(I can do it, but only if no one else joins.) "Yes," Lilystar replied, looking at him warmly. "I hope you slept well." She shifted and looked up to the clouds. "It's great weather, especially after this hot green-leaf," She said suddenly, and she closed her eyes, obviously pleased. "Thank Spiritclan for this weather." Wonderful.

Nightshade snorted, rubbing a paw over his face. "I slept well enough," He replied, yawning widely, "A little tired still, but a morning hunt should wake me up, or a patrol if I'm needed." He finished his vole quickly and shook out his fur. "It's nice that it's cooler," He agreed, before continuing in a grumble, "Wish it was less wet though. I hate getting water in my fur." Nightshade picked up the inedible remains of his meal, carrying it over to the Dirtplace to dispose of it. "What about you, Lilystar? Did you sleep well?" He asked, sauntering back to sit near and begin to groom the traces of his meal out of his fur.

"Of course," Lilystar responded, nodding her head. "The rain does make the prey hide, but we're underground hunters, and we're good at it." She paused, and then said, "I love the feeling of the soggy water dribbling down my fur."

Raindapple stretched as she exited the medicine cat's den. Her eyes quickly scanned the camp, before her eyes rested on the expecting queen. Trotting over, the dappled she-cat approached Wildbloom hoping to catch the she-cat before she fell asleep, her tail waving a welcome. "Hello Wildbloom. How are you feeling today?" The medicine cat's eyes glanced over the she-cat's stomach, happy with how well she was faring. This was her first pregnant queen that she was handling on her own, Grousestone had just passed away, but clan life seemed to continue, so she had to keep up, not leaving much time for mourning.

(Mind if I jump in? Oh, and for Raindapple, I had an idea of a dream she could have had in the night... "On a rainy greenleaf morning, a kit will arrive, borne on the winds of the black waterfall and heralded by the wails of SpiritClan." Tornadokit will be coming to StreamClan!)

Nightshade chuckled, shaking his head. "You're crazy, Lilystar," He teased, finishing up his grooming and shaking as much of the water from his fur as he could. "Anything special to do today?" He mewed, stretching out to rid himself of the last of the sleep-stiffness, "Or is it all business as usual?"
WIldbloom lifted her head to blink sleepily at the Medicine Cat. She yawned widely, before smiling happily at Raindapple. "I feel fine, Raindapple," She replied, glancing at her swollen stomach with happiness, "I don't think it will be long now. They've been moving quite a bit this morning, so much it feels almost like an entire clan wriggling around in there." She purred happily, proud that her kits were strong and active. She loved them so much already and couldn't wait to have them nestled at her belly where she could groom and nuzzle them to her heart's content. "You've been such a big comfort, Raindapple," She mewed, smiling warmly at the Medicine Cat, "With this being my first litter, I was so nervous at first, but you've helped so much."

Queens had always been Raindapple's favourite part of the clan, bringing new life and showing such compassion while raising the kits. Her heart panged slightly, but this was the path she had chosen, her duty to the clan was more important than the secret wishes of her heart. "Let my know if you need anything for discomfort, or if there is any change." She didn't want to keep the queen too long, as it seemed she had cought her in the begining of a nap. Wildbloom's words comforted the new medicine cat greatly. "Thank you Wildbloom, that means a lot. Thank you." She purred slightly, her tail quickly resting on the Queen's shoulder. "You have been so coopertive and patient, which has made my job so much easier."

For StreamClan, nice weather was in the offing. However, a Twolegplace not too far off was under a different sky. There, greenish grey clouds dominated the entire sky, and part of the cloud appeared to have a decending, rotating bit hanging off it. Inside one of the Twoleg nests, a kit with five, closer to six moons under his proverbial belt sat on his favorite spot on the couch and paid rapt attention to the television. "This is a radar and velocity-indicated tornado, but no tornado has been reported by storm spotters so far." "Come on, Stormy!" the Twoleg who owned the nest yelled before swiftly picking the tom up and moving him swiftly to a table. Just then, three horrible screeching sounds came from the television, followed by a dual-pitched tone and then a strange voice. "The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the following counties..." Stormy's ears then flattened against his skull as a loud, unearthly wail filled the air. "That's official, storm spotters have now confirmed a tornado on the ground! Get to shelter!" the weatherman on the television said in a firm voice.
The Twoleg grabbed a couple of thick layers of cloth and the radio before disappearing into the fraidyhole, right as the wind picked up...
------- A strange, muted howl made itself known over the sounds of the light rain in the StreamClan camp, rising and then lowering in pitch before repeating the cycle.

"Hm. And the weather had seemed so nice."
Hollyshade was resting underneath the shade of a low-spreading bush, watching over the Clan as the morning passed. She had already been out of the camp in the early hours of dawn, having taken part of the dawn patrol along SpiritClan's borders. The skies had been cloudless then, but now it looked like it was heralding an oncoming storm. The she-cat was slightly annoyed, the warrior was not a fan of getting her long, dark pelt wet.
Her striking green eyes flitted over to see Lilystar, who was chatting with Nightshade. Half of her wondered if she should be doing something productive, but the other protested against that notion. Hollyshade was one of the most diligent cats around, but that didn't mean she didn't like to relax. Maybe she felt like a day's rest was deserved. Even so, the feline would be ready if her Clan needed her.
Drizzlepelt hurried over to the nursery, joy lighting his eyes at the sight of his mate, Wildbloom. The calico was nearing her kitting with every passing day and the blue-grey tom visited the she-cat with any available moment. He nearly ran into Raindapple as he rushed into the den, becoming embarrassed by his own giddiness. Being a typically calm cat, his excitement over his mate's pregnancy was almost uncharacteristic. It was evident that Drizzlepelt loved his mate and couldn't wait to become a father.
"Good morning," the warrior greeted cheerily, touching his nose to Wildbloom's. He gave the medicine cat a respectful nod as well, grateful for her watching over his mate. Raindapple has been a huge help through the whole process by reassuring the nervous couple over their first litter. "How are you feeling?" He asked the calico, standing beside her nest.
