Hello! I'm looking to get back into RP after almost a year off. I'm up for anything, but since it's been so long words may not come so easily to me. (We'll have to see where my muse is at.) I work a lot and I'm going to school, so I'm looking for someone that won't mind if I'm active on the weekends, and post maybe 1-2 times a day during the week. I will try my hardest to reply at least once a day.
I have old plots I can pull up, or we can do something of yours. I'm into 'real life' or fantasy plots, I don't typically like to RP fandoms but you may be able to convince me. I only RP girls but I'm chill with m/f or f/f. As I have a chronic illness, many of my characters end up having something 'wrong' with them, so hopefully that's okay with you. (I had a lot of complaints about it last time I was active.)
Once I move over to my computer I'll add some of my old plots and type up a few of my charries.

'Superheroes' (Song Plot)
A two teens are in the foster system. They're not siblings, but came from similar families, and grew up together in the foster system. One was abused and the other 'kicked out' of her foster home so they didn't have to pay for them, but keep their own paychecks. No matter what foster home they ended up in, they made sure o keep up with each other. Separate house or not. Something happens to get both foster homes discovered and they both get new foster parents. Things are finally starting to look up...

'Try' (Song Plot.)
Character A got into a really bad car accident where the car burned with them still inside. After a mix of actually waking up, the worry of infection, skin graphs, and the lack of mobility in their left -dominant arm, they forget something that leaves them reeling. After severe burns to the face, and skin graphs their face looks like a messed up version of Frankenstein. It heal some, and in a year -plastic surgery for what hasn't. What about school? What about friends? What about life? That's where character b comes in. The kid at school who teaches them a bit of self worth they learned themselves. Maybe they've even been through something similar.
Character A - Character B (Mysterious, open ended backstory) -
'Best Song Ever' (Song Plot.)
Character A and Character B both go to a masquerade party from their friends begging. After the worst night of their lives -this party was awful -a person who seems to be having just as much fun *cough* None! *cough* as you wants to dance. You talk about everything under the sun, and you're both perfect for each other. The Catch? You don't introduce names before she leaves, and while you took your mask off at the end of the night, she left before the end of the party. Character A has no idea who Character B was, and Character B -is blind. What now?

'Never Have I Ever... Said What I Meant, And Meant What I Said.'
Character A has been friends with Character B since they were in the first grade. Character A's parents died in a car crash, and she'd been mute ever since. Character A knew sign language that young for whatever reason (writer's choice), and they just stuck like glue from that first day. The one thing that the two friends don't have in common? Character A has nothing to do with is their city's famous show choir. One day when Character B has to get something from what should be an empty room, they hear someone with the best voice they'd ever heard. They tell Character A who immediately shies away from trying to find out who they are, but Character B is insistent. The choir lost several strong vocals and needs the boost. We'll go from there.

Soulmate AU
'Who Can Tell You Whether Or Not You're Worth Something?'
Everyone is born with a timer on one wrist, and a signature on the other. This is the name of your soulmate, and the exact time you'll meet them. ...Unless. You're Character A's soulmate. A has spent their entire life in the gutters. Their parents were both addicts who couldn't give them the time of day, and they'd been bullied in school from day one. A is convinced of one thing: No one would ever want to be stuck with their sorry ass for a soulmate. Their mission? To AVOID CHARACTER B AT ALL TIMES. When her clock starts ticking down, A will do things to completely avoid her soulmate.... Whoever they are. Jumping out windows, going into a store they'd never step foot in normally, anything to tip the clock in their favor. One day, while working on a project, they fail this mission. Character B is determined to change Character A's mind.
Plot Note: I actually have two characters that would fit character A well, and, I have a very rare gift: A boy. I don't play boys often or well, but I'm willing with this one. And since I'm offering to play a boy, I'll also have this one open to mXm. Never done that before, so you'll patience if you take me up on that. (Please open your post with these specifications.)
Character A - Ms/Mr. Self Deprecation: Preferably, me.
Character B - The 'hero'. Here to save the day! And character A.
'Can't you see yourself the way I do?' Character A is blind. Her parents and siblings had always neglected her. Their excuses being 'She was a surprise baby', 'We weren't expecting another kid', and others of the like. At age two, her brothers were allowed to run rampant, and, while roughhousing, she ended up hitting her head. Her retinas both detached, and her parents didn't think it was serious enough to warrant a doctor until it was too late. With her sight lost, this made her parents neglect far worse. She's used to being told that she's the reject, that she'll never make it in life, that she can't do anything. Now at fifteen, she believes all of these things. In school she keeps to herself, does assignments the best she can, and stays out of the way when she can't. This, is where character B comes in. Character B's parent might also be an occupational therapist, so they want to help character A learn the things they should've when she went blind in the first place.
Character A - Character B -
If you don't like any of these, we can try to brainstorm (please don't feel badly if I shoot you down.) or you can suggest a plot of your own. We could always try a jump in! I'm up for it!

Yeah! She had JRA. I saw you on last night while I was searching for a new RP, but I wasn't positive, and then when you chose that plot again I was like "Yup. I know this person."
Last time I don't remember the story progressing very quickly. Since it's written very open-ended, do you have any ideas of where you want to take it?

I think he was Derek, but it doesn't matter to me. We can change things this time around. Do we want to add some drama somewhere or just do another 'Slice of Life' style thing? I actually write with Kristy as well, so I have plenty of drama we can pull up and use. Hospital Trips, visits from Bio parents, a court battle could be great when it comes to adoption Rp's.

I'm going to use the same girl, but her character has changed a little over time, so she'll be a little different. After reading more about Rheumatoid Arthritis, a wheelchair would be a detriment unless she was really ill or having a really high-pain day, so she'll probably use forearm crutches instead, as well as a few other things. I was thinking of having her parents come back in the picture + a court battle, and since she has medical issues, we can also throw that in if things get boring. But, the same goes for you. Der's parents could pop in (If they aren't dead, I can't remember his whole backstory.) or he could get super ill/injured.

I think that'll give her more stuff to do as well. I like that. I'm thinking of having Derek have multiple personalities. I recently seen a video of a girl talking about her life/multiple personalities, and I think Derek would at least have one extra "person" living within his mind the he created due to his abuse. I know I had him at childish at times in the old rp, so that would be a good/more realistic way of keeping that in. AS for his parents, they are still alive. Chances are, his father's in jail, but he could always be released because he served his sentence or whatnot. His mother kind of disappeared, so if we ever need something to do, we could have her pop in. I do want him to get super ill/injured. I'm horrible to say that, but that what I want. XD

I'm cool with that. I don't know much about MPD so you may have to explain stuff as you go though.

Violetta - a very petite girl, age 16, first-generation Italian immigrant to the United States. She has pale skin, raven hair and ice blue eyes. Her dad was abusive, mom an addict. She's been in and out of the foster system since she was 5, and has had a range of health issues throughout her years that she often refers to as her genetic lottery. (I'll bring them up as time goes on, but mainly severe arthritis and asthma, along with possibly Celiac. I haven't decided yet, but my sister just got diagnosed with it so I know a lot at this point.)

Okay! Go study! I'm about to head to bed anyway, but I'm going to put up Derek's description, but I'll be editing it in the morning to fit with the new plot. I just want to put something up before I go to sleep.
Derek Parker There isnโt much to note about Derek, however, he is a person that you remember easily. He has brown hair and smoky blue-grey eyes, and stands around 5โ10โ. His skin isnโt pale, but it isnโt exactly tan either. Itโs somewhere in the middle. Across his skin are he scars that are the testament of his childhood. Most can't be seen due to his clothing, but his back mainly is scored with the beatings of a drunk father. Usually he wears jeans and a loose t-shirt with a necklace of small wooden beads. Derek is the kind of person who tries not to get to upset about anything. Key word is try. Despite the hardships of an abusive childhood, somehow the boy walked away with a kind demeanor. He tries to find the positive in everyone and everything, always giving people the benefit of the doubt unless they prove themselves to be bad people. If they are good, then he will be a loyal friend, always willing to lend a hand to those who need help or a shoulder to lean on. Yet he is not all whole and well. The boy is troubled with panic attacks. Triggered by stress or overwhelming emotions, he will have a moment of uncontrollable anxiety and fear that lasts anywhere between thirty seconds to two minutes. However, this is only one side of the coin for him. Derek has multiple personalities, or really, just two. This has a huge way of how he interacts with the world and people around him since he really can't control when he switches between personalities. One minute he will be himself, the original Derek, and the next he will be a fabrication of his broken mind, an escape, a coping mechanism he created to shield himself from his father. It's hard for him to be out in public sometimes, and, since he is fully aware of what the other "person" is doing, he is often times embarrassed when he has this shifts. Sam
Sam is Derek's second personality. Created, unknowingly, when the boy was five, Sam is very much like a younger version of Derek. The child that never got to be. The purpose of Sam was more of a defense attempt during his father's drunken or angry state. Forever stuck at age six, Sam is the embodiment of six year old Derek, never growing up even if Derek does. He functions on the basic levels any normal six year old would. His concepts of right and wrong are fuzzy, he is single-minded, and all education he should have obtained is completely forgotten. It's as if he were to step back in time yet kept his current body. Sam is a lovable little guy, but he is extremely unstable mentally. He is skittish and terrified of most adults, especially men, and most of the time, he's the one who gets the majority of the panic attacks. He clings to those he trusts the most, getting very upset whenever they have to leave or he can't see them. If anyone takes on an angry tone, the boy will retreat into himself, shying away from that person and trying to make himself as small and invisible as possible.
