A she-cat lay on the beach's soft sand, listening to the waves that splashed against her paws as she watched the sunset. She started to clean herself, being relaxed and content. A few crabs shuffled by, but she took no notice.

A pale ginger she-cat, no older than 6 moons, was observing a crab along the shore. She was amused by its tiny legs and the way they moved. Curiously she batted at the crab, laughing as it jumped, but then stopped. She winced and flew backwards, landing on the sand as the crab clung onto her paw

The she-cat noticed her along the shore. She stood up and stretched, and padded over calmly. "You should be careful. The crabs pinch hard and the waves are as big as tsunamis at night.' She told the young cat. "Where are your parents?" She asked, concerned. "I suggest that you shouldn't mess with the crabs." She said, purring with amusement.

The young she-cat prodded the crab off her paw, darting a good few fox lengths away from it and hissing once it was gone. Turning her head, she swished her fluffy tail back and forth in a friendly manner. "S-Sorry! I'm not familiar with this area. I was traveling with my dad but he went off hunting this morning" she explained, seeming oddly quick to trust the strange she-cat
