The Fighter passed on her wary retort, and he continued to focus on their current conversation. His brow lifted when she had spoken of "my", but the masculine thought nothing of it and brushed it off, as Nebula had always had slip-ups of speaking before. He couldn't help but think of something else she would've said, if it wasn't a slip-up. Of course, Dragon couldn't think much of it, as he had developed a slight interest in the molly. He had seen her grow and improve before his very eyes. He hadn't felt like he strengthened her in any way, but as long as he encouraged Nebula and helped her become something more than the shy little kitten that hid behind him on their earliest encounter, he was content with that. Dragon had a feeling Nebula wouldn't feel the same when she was older, after all, she was young now and he was disgustingly rude, something her father definitely wouldn't approve of. Speaking of kin, Dragon rolled his eyes at the thought of the said Protector. He had done nothing but hate Dragon since he first spotted him, and when Dragon was younger, when we wasn't such a little grump, he remembered he had pranked Bramble a couple of times, resulting in seeing the leader, who only tried brushing it off as something to bond off of. But yet, they both still hated each other. It would never happen between the two youths.
Dragon continued to smile when he saw the blue femme jump before his amber optics, noting that she was still the skittish kitten deep down. However, when her stance when back into something challenging, he grinned. "Something, eh? How fast can you think of it then?" He paused, looking at Nebula with his eyes wide with happiness. She was the only one he had opened up with.
"You're tiny compared to me, Neb! Try and do something. I dare ya." { .&. }

The medic, arriving closer to the entrance of camp, froze in her spot as if a horned prey of the Tribe had halted in its tracks when seeing the first spot of sunlight— something that was rare to the world. She opened her mouth wider and tasted the scent of an outsider, and instead of continuing to go forward, she nudged the two back. "Actually, I messed up, since this is more of your training, Tawny, I should show you some of the herbs in the den. Come, now." She gently nudged the apprentice back towards the Healers' Den, and while looking at Cold with wide, worried eyes, she signaled her head towards the entrance of camp, and with a hushed tone only the male could hear, she motioned once more. "I caught a scent. Maybe you should go check it out. I smell Fog and Midnight, but I smell someone else too. It's a different scent." { .&. }

Starlight watched with wide eyes as they approached the camp of this Tribe, that these two athletes claimed to be from. She was impressed with how well hidden it was, and she slowly followed after, taking in large breaths to calm herself. The combatant could taste the scents of all the other felines in this camp, but most, she couldn't tell apart. She could do this— talk to the leader without messing up her opportunity. There was something about this whole decision— this whole event that took place, that made it seem so wrongfully right. She listened to Midnight carefully, and could hear their hushed tones amongst themselves. She nodded slowly, her cold eyes bright with hope. She could tell by Midnight's movements that she was uneasy about the whole situation, and decided to stay hushed to keep the feline content and less worried.

Camp came far quicker than expected, but it was perhaps due to the intensity of the situation. His trot slowed down to a leisurely walk—though it was obvious by the idiosyncratic quirks of his tail that he remained terse and nervous.“Perhaps you should do the talking,” he suggested kindly. “You can hone your reporting skills with something as important as this.”At the statement, he beckoned for Midnight to lead the way, giving an acknowledging dip of his crown. He genuinely wanted this for his fellow colleague, as it’ll help her practice a skill tribal runner’s otherwise never had the chance to exercise—especially with peace reigning over the territory these days.
Ignoring the stares wrought by the newcomer, Fog continued on towards Season’s den, now simply wanting to get the whole ordeal over with.ᴀᴄʜʀᴏᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ , 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】

The tyke stuck out her tongue at his comment, none too glad at his prodding. After all, the little she-cat had taken into account her small size—especially compared to Dragon’s immense height—so it was rather difficult coming up with what to do with the fighter.
“Keep daring me,” she teased, feigning a threatening voice. “Let’s just see where that leads you.”Okay, now that was totally gonna get her grounded if Bramble ever heard that coming out of her maw. He’d always taught her to be polite and though it was simply playful banter, she knew he would disapprove some way or another.
Just then, a new scent overwhelmed her nostrils, and she was distracted as a newcomer was brought into camp. Immediately, her fur prickled defensively and she ducked behind Dragon; alert and cautious.

Now free of the heavy load, she head-butted his shoulder with her slender cranium, giving off an affectionate purr in salutation."Hiya Stream! Would you mind sharing breakfast this fine morning? Just as the masculine's maws parted and he took a small inhale, he immediately tasted the scent of another feline. Almost as instinct, Dragon pulled his paw forward to put himself in front of the femme, but she had already darted behind him, her fur raised. He felt his heart skip a beat— she trusted him. Her body was pressed against his, and he could feel her increased heartbeat. Nebula was nothing like what she was when a kit. All Dragon could recall was her small, frail physique shaking against his own toned and sturdy. Her ears weren't pinned against her temple in fear, but more pulled back in defense. Dragon, admitting he was proud of her, didn't resist the thought of missing his shy comrade. Her shaking body, and the way she nuzzled herself into his warmth as his fur stuck up and he growled. Warmth spread into his cheeks at the thought, but the male disregarded it almost as fast— there was an intruder, and Nebula should be protected. Naturally, his body stiffened in defense and his left paw reached back to rest on the blue femme. His pupils went into slits and the fur on the back of his neck prickled upwards, making him look like a fluffy, yet dangerous, mess.
When Nebula spoke, he watched the newcomer walk forth, following after Midnight and before Fog. Before he could answer, his body froze and his eyes widened, ears beginning to pin back in surprise. Under his breath was inaudible to Nebula's being, but he muttered the nickname of one of his beloved siblings. One that he believed that died. Her bioluminescence— the way her ears perked and her stone cold eyes shone— the shade of her pelt. It had to be her. After all, Dragon loved every one of his sister equally, and memorized every little detail and design of their coat and bioluminescence to see them from afar.. But her— she was a troublemaker along with his other two sisters. The youngest being his sweet twin, who was innocent and pure in every way, and who he never worried about other than the other males planning on who would mate their children with her, with their father's blessing, of course. Dragon froze, with was completely unusual, and all he could think of, was the day he lost his family. But could they all really not be lost?

Starlight continued to follow after the athlete, her ears high in the air. Her pale orbs darting all over the unfamiliar territory, and her slender cranium peered around, allowing her eyes to have more access in the area. She thought it was amazing. All of it was so breathtaking! Perhaps she wasn't able to admire the world she thrived in because she was constantly traveling. She mumbled a "wow", in utter excitement and amazement. Starlight was, genuinely excited— perhaps this was her forever home. With wide eyes, she continued to observe the camp, still following the black she-cat before her, and Starlight realized the multitude of felines watching Fog, Midnight's, and her arrival. She felt heat rush into her cheeks, and she continued to look around, hearing the whispering of her— hopefully— future Tribe-mates.
Her eyes landed on two felines in particular, one being a charcoal male, which elegant fur and two scars on his chin, and familiar fire-like bioluminescence, and another, smaller athlete behind him. His expression was pure shock, and immediately Starlight felt like she knew him. Her head tilted in a friendly manner, and she questioned him from a distance, Russian-accent thick from speaking native language, "Dragon?" She could feel the intense stares on her, but focused on the male. Realizing she was falling behind, as she stopped to look at the combatant, she continued after Fog and Midnight, taking a few glances at him, and noticing he had put his paws on the floor of their camp and walked forward slightly, continuing to watch her until she entered their leader's den.

【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 SparklyCold leaned forward at Shade's gesture to catch what she said. He nodded and padded forward outside of the den to catch a glimpse at what was going on. He could see Fog and Midnight, yes, but they seemed to be leading someone unfamiliar to Season's den. Automatically feeling wary, he flashed his bright green luminescence in warning. "Yes, it seems they have someone with them." he confirmed. "But I've never seen her before. They've brought a stranger into our camp, and it looks like they're taking her to Season."

【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】, ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮עAt Fog's words, Midnight was able to relax a little. Her luminescence returned to it's usual glow, and she managed to stand herself more upright, as confidence seeped back into her psyche. With just a little encouragement from her senior, she could do this. Talking to their leader wouldn't be a hard task. So she took the tom's invitation to lead the party up to Season's den, trying to ignore the stares of her tribe-mates as they went.
Her ears pricked when she heard their captive gasp from a small ways behind her. Had this stranger just called one of her tribe-mates by name? She whipped her head around to face Starlight, her orange eyes wide with alarm and confusion. "Hey," she called to the loner. Her tone had only the slightest hint of an accusation, though she was more perplexed than anything else. "How do you know one of our fighters?" She flicked her tail in the direction of Dragon, who seemed to be just as interested in Starlight as Starlight was in him.

Expecting to reach the leader’s den with little to no interruption, it was hard to catch his disbelief when the stranger called out a name. A tribal cat’s name.
With an inward groan, he turned, noticing how both Starlight and Dragon were staring at each other. …And what that Nebula?
Shaking his head, he took a step forward and towards the stalemate. It would make sense that the tom knew certain cats—after all, he did grow up away from the tribe. The situation was similar to Morning’s and Bug’s, and how their sister, Firefly, showed up recently. Still, he wasn’t all the ready to accept yet another loner into the ranks, and having heard stories told by Bramble about Dragon, he wasn’t about to allow a sister or mate into the tribe.

Noticing the change in Dragon’s mood, the femme poked her head out from behind him, taking in the newcomer with a fairly thoughtful glance. Her bioluminescence was a tad… off-putting, but otherwise she couldn’t discover the fighter’s anticipation by just a simple look.
She knew the combatant once lived outside the tribe. In fact, he had been a rogue most his life. Could that mean… he knew this she-cat? It was then, perhaps by coincidence, the stranger spoke the gib's name.Without meaning to, her fur bristled even further, pupils slitting in mistrust and, perhaps, envy.
If so, what was her stance in the tom’s life? Family member, friend, romantic interest? The femme shuddered at the thought and scowled. No, no, definitely not romantic interest.
In order to seek confirmation, the tyro’s voice pipped up, with a bit more forceful than intended.
“How does she know you?”

Dragon continued to watch as his colleague interrogated his kin, and before she could answer, he could see the look on Fog's face, and him stepping forward. Suddenly, Dragon's amber optics lit up when Fog mentioned his name, and before he could take a step forward, the Fighter's ears perked even higher, his broad cranium whipping back to look at the athlete behind him. The sight of her didn't surprise him, as he was already surprised enough due to his sister's sudden appearance. The thought of them surviving made his heart swell, in both happiness and sadness. At first, he thought of his mother living through the event, but he knew she was gone. He got a good look at her before he encountered his father.
Looking at the juvenile, he merely shrugged, and gently nudged her. "I'll be back." Was his only words before he pulled away from the blue molly and continued to walk forward to join beside his sister. There was a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips, but it never rose. He stared at his sibling in disbelief, continuing to stare at her in disbelief, and felt her tail lay on the back of his hind leg. He began to walk, following Midnight and Fog, overwhelmed with confusion. "Are you actually alive?" He proclaimed in a whisper, gently knocking against her in a playful signal, however, the shocked expression.

Starlight opened her mouth to reply to the obsidian feline, but the male athlete spoke for her. Looking over, she realized it was, indeed, her lost brother Dragon. She let her tail lift onto his upper thigh, close to his hips, and stared at her brother, almond shaped eyes on no other individual other than her older brother. Her cold eyes were bright and wide in disbelief, just as much as his own doubts, and his Russian accent was now less as thick as he was when a kit, and his voice was much more deeper now, which, somewhat surprised Starlight, as she didn't expect her brother to appear so strong. With a small smile, her small canines bared in a friendly, loving smile, she let out an equally quiet response. "Yeah, I'm actually alive. Are you?"
She could hear the slight tone in his voice, something she completely missed. "Yeah, obviously."

Shade's tufted ears perked upwards to Cold's words., the tingling in her paws were hard. The feeling, was something similar to what she felt when she first came to camp and spotted her eldest sib. Something felt off, and with cold optics that held interest, Shade shook off the feeling. Walking forward after pushing Tawny back into the Healers' Den, she went back to the exit of the shared cavern and watched the reaction before her very eyes. Immediately, when her sister spotted the opposing combatant. With wide eyes, Shade heard Starlight call out to her brother, and watch the son of their leader take control of the situation. The physician, watching as Dragon and Starlight made their way towards Season's den, caused Shade to excuse herself from the two and catch up to them. She overheard their conversation, and lightly made her way into the conversation too. "I am too."
Her sudden voice caught the two off guard, and she could see the shocked expressions, immediately, Starlight mewed in happiness, slightly bouncing on her heels at the sight of her baby sister, making Shade blush under her black fur. She looked up to see Dragon's response, and she only smiled nervously, as he had no more smile on his face and instead, stared at her with, still, wide eyes. "I was intending on telling you soon, Dragon, I just, didn't have the chance. I was intending on doing it soon.. I didn't know you were alive.. Starlight." Her gaze turned back to her sister, her voice still hushed. Looking at Fog and Midnight, she let out a soft purr, "I'm joining on this too!"

【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】, ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע (This post seems kind of bad and I apologize, my muse is low at the moment) Midnight watched the exchanges going on in front of her, a confused and slightly annoyed expression on her face. She supposed she shouldn't be surprised by this point, that there was a long-lost familial bond between the newcomer and one of their own. At least it eased some of her suspicions about the newcomer. Perhaps Starlight wasn't here as a spy after all.
Taking Fog's orders, she turned and led the party up the path to the leader's den, rolling her eyes as she did so. The small blue glow emanating from within indicated that they had arrived at the right den. The tribal runner tentatively peaked her head inside, her luminescence dimming as her nervousness once again took hold.
"Uh..." She cleared her throat, taking a single step inside the den. "Season?"

I will 100% need all of you to join in and comment because we - as a group, as the current members of the Tribe of Hidden Fireflies - are going to decided it's future.Let's be honest first off: none of us are active right now. None of us (including myself) have been on this RP in the last several days. The want, activity, and excitement the tribe once held has faded away. And I feel like constantly trying to drag this RP to life over and over and over again is wearing myself and its own uniqueness thin. So it is time to have a serious conversation about if this RP should stay or not. Now, I will state that if we do decided to close this on this website, it will be open on the official page freedomspot.proboards.com. I - for a change - will be saving all characters for people that ask and move them over there without issue. For the course of action we have, there are four options: 1) go on hiatus till Winter Break with a time skip, 2) have the time skip right now, 3) continue as is, or 4) close the tribe. For the first option, the tribe will go on hiatus until December 13, 2018, a full month (that is when my last final is). No posting, nothing will change, no one will be deleted. We will have a time skip of at least one month to get to the main plot again (which we have drifted greatly away from). The problem I have with this is, who would be willing to come back after being gone for a month? Who would want to jump back in when they had more time after such a long time away? I'm not sure it is worth it because I potentially could lose all of you. It is very risky. The second option is quickly finishing what we have right now and have a time skip of one month. This will lead us to the earliest time we can jump back into the main plot. The main goal of this time jump would be for us to get back into the main plot (which is good guys; I promise) and to get us active again. My concern with this is that if no one is currently active right now, what would this due to help? Would this make us active or just leave us stuck with the main plot just out of reach to start? The third option I decided to include, but I'd rather do anything but. If we leave the tribe as it is, it will fail. End of story. With no graceful end. I'd very much not like to have that happen. It just seems much sadder than anything else. And leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. As such, if we vote this one and the RP fails, I will no be saving characters or opening it up on the official website. It ain't happening. It will close until the time I see fit to open it again on there and no time sooner. The fourth option is to close it on here and open it on the official website. It will be much more relaxed and casual on the new page, probably. Mostly cause of less people and less of a worry of it being lost. That being said, I ask that if you do choose this one, you either join the new website (which is the same platform that hosts this site so no big changes) or you join MeadowClan, the other Lucida roleplay I have active on this site (for now). I will move characters over and immediately open it up. I might even bring back the GIFs. Idk. Might make you do your own.Anyway, these are the options that we currently have. I ask that you voice your opinions, concerns, and any ideas you might have. I'm leaving this open as a group to decided the best course of action. No pressure or anything but the fate of the Tribe of Hidden Fireflies rests with you. I hope we can figure something out that works for everyone and has a good future for the RP.Thank you,Wildfire*Creator of Lucida

Sparkly perhaps you could have an interesting experience with Tawny and Morning until Shade, Starlight, and Dragon are released? I dunno, but we have to try
edit: Also, I will mention, maybe we can try more advertising for more suitable people? someone who's more active? Even so, people say they will and they never do. But I will admit Wild, the plot you made up is great, but maybe there should be something more in-depth that will grab more attention? Lastly, if anything, I can agree with a time skip until December, perhaps more people will be able and be out of school and realize they need to decide whether or not they're into this. Although I'm active now, I'm still willing to post every-so-often if needed
Last last! I can message some of the old joiners to see if they're still up to rping on here! ))

(Gonna be a bit honest here. Since I'm one of the newer members, my interest in this roleplay is still very fresh and I am willing to continue. But I think in all, the interest for this roleplay in general is dying. There's only so much that the active people can do when other members just aren't here to respond. And I don't blame anyone if they're just not interested anymore, but I'd hate to push and keep this place going if it's too taxing on others.
I think what we should do is try and gauge how much interest is left in this roleplay, to see if there are even enough people to keep this going. And if there are, then perhaps Options 1 or 2 would be best. Particularly Option 1, because that gives you enough time to sort things out and for everyone to just take a breather.
It might also help to change perspective on activity in general. Personally, I consider 1 post a day/every other day to be pretty active, given that everyone has stuff going on outside of the forum, though that's just me.
Edit: I'm not ragging on anyone who isn't active btw, because no one can help it if they have low muse. My motivation leaves me all the time. I just don't want to bother others and push for this if they don't want to continue.)

(Alright sooo I haven't been a part of this rp for very long so I can't gauge how things usually are around here, I can only speak based on my own experiences. But my honest opinion, what it seems to me, is that there are very few people who truly want this to continue. Me personally? I'm a little bored and VERY overwhelmed. To put it frankly, my interest for this rp has died. I came here as a favor to Sparkly, to help do my part to keep this rp afloat so you guys wouldn't have to abandon it, and also because I wasn't in any other rps at the time. But since then I feel there hasn't been much for me to do, and I don't feel particularly invested in any of the plots going on.
I'm in other rps now that, to be perfectly honest, interest me much more and take up much more of my headspace than the Tribe. And this isn't personal or anything; I believe it's just Fan Clans in general that I really don't care for anymore. But yeah, other rps are taking up much more of my time, to the point that the Tribe is at the bottom of my priorities. Even if I had posts to respond to here, I wouldn't be able to get to them as often as would be expected.
When all is said and done, I might actually just leave. I don't put forth my best effort in this Tribe because I'm simply not invested in it; I don't make good posts.
Anyway none of you are obligated to care about my opinion since, well, it's just my experience and doesn't reflect on any of you or this Tribe as a whole. And sorry if it's a bit brusque or just all over the place.
This rp was a really cool creative idea and it would be a shame to see it fall, but if it's gotten to this point again and again it might be because it's not working for the members involved, whether that be because of fundamentals, scheduling, leadership, what have you. Idk I'm rambling and I'm gonna stop now)

Sparkly - Well no fear for the universe dying. XD Even if all my RPs fail, I plan on making more stuff for this world. Someone is actually wanting to help make it into a table-top experience while I would love to see this as a video game. As for the hiatus, it is once again, just waiting and hoping people will come back. I am glad you want to keep the RP active though!
【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 - There is little I can do for the time being about advertising sadly. There is just isn't a proper way. It would be cool if the home page had a circulating new-like feed that stated open roleplays or such as that. Advertising is hard. And I'm grateful for all of you wanting to help figure out ideas for it. So if you guys have any, please let us know! Maybe we can get rolling on a few of them! As for the hiatus and time skip, I'm wondering if that might be the best idea. Maybe I can do hints for the plot. There is actually kind-of two right now. But let me talk to Mystic about getting more people involved in the main one. We might need a villain.
ᴀᴄʜʀᴏᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ - I agree. That is why I gave the option to everyone: are people active now or would it be best to take a break or close down. And I would say 3-4 posts a day is fairly active. Mostly cause that is what I try to shoot for myself. XD I do hope that when we finally get back on track with this plot, it will be exciting (and very spine-chilling). War can be a painful thing...
✽Boop✽ - I'm sorry you feel that way, Boop. It's perfectly fine that you don't want to continue. It happens. Hope to see you around the forums. Bye!

Any other comments? I'd like for the conversation to continue for a bit. Also, what would you like to see out of the main plot currently? I haven't given many hints, but what do you expect? What would you like to see/happen?

This is the longest-lasting role-play I’ve ever been on. I’ve been participating since the old forums and remember monitoring the page out of curiosity, since I was so nervous to join. It took about two weeks, but I finally did it—and have remained the longest member on here for four years. I love the idea and concept, and the way this role-play carries my most ‘alive’ of characters; namely Morning or Bug. The world of Lucida has been apart of me for so long and I would like for it to continue a little longer. Though, it's true the muse I've felt for this has somewhat fizzled out over the years, I think a hiatus will refresh everyone's minds. So yes, I do agree with the hiatus option, especially since it's winter break and all.

(( Wildfire* - 🦉 hmm.. well there can be so many things that can happen. I wouldn’t know what to expect from the plot. The only thing I can think of is something related to Fire. But even then there wouldn’t be much to think of because of all the possibilities ))

ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע - I didn't know you hovered for a bit before joining! XD Actually, I can't remember a time before you joined if I'm being perfectly honestly. I remember having this idea and just wanting to go with it. I don't think I had anything I was particularly invested in at the time so went for this one. I can't believe how old it really is. Over three years old at this point. A lot of people are voting for a hiatus so we might be going with that.
【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 - Yes! A lot of possibilities! I'm trying to leave it as mysterious as possible, but I want to see what other people might want in it. Is there something specific you want to come from the plot maybe? And yes, it does have to do with Fire.
Sparkly - Roxatave; they are no longer called pellums. And there is going to be a natural disaster, but it is not linked to the plot.
