Rosethorn ;; { Kana - hollowclan camp }
The medicine cat nodded after the leader in farewell, then turning back into her den. Rosethorn glanced over her shoulder, seeing cats starting to finally rise from their dens. She heard kits mewling from inside the nursery and felt a stab of anger. Those kits should've been Featherfall's, not Cherryfur. Rosthorn had nothing against the pale-furred she-cat, but strongly disliked her choice of a mate. Riverglow was one of the lowest cats in her opinion, leaving his mate right after their kits starved to death. What kind of heartless furball would do that?
Sighing, the dark ginger cat decided to grab the herbs she had unwisely decided to dry. They would only get wet now, when it was about to rain. She took the leaves in her mouth and put them in a fairly dry portion of her den, hoping the wouldn't become worse than they already were.
( btw i have oatheart open if anyone wants to rp with him )

Vinepaw ;; { Kana - hollowclan territory }
The black apprentice blinked in surprise at his mentor's jumpiness. Sootshine didn't seem like the kind of cat to be afraid of anything. Shrugging inwardly Vinepaw nodded to the brown cat to say he understood. He couldn't exactly talk with herbs in his mouth.
Soon they were travelling down towards the valley, where the meadows were. He could already see the plant Rosethorn wanted - the tall, yellow-flowered plant loomed over some of even the tallest grasses. Another thunder rumble made apprehension crawl down Vinepaw's spine. Being in a valley with an impending storm above was a little precarious; flash flooding was very common in this area. He slid into the tall grasses, squinting his eyes as the fronds tickled his face. He came across the nearest golden rod and set the borage down, instantly sneezing as he reached to grab the other herb. Vinepaw shook his head in annoyance then tried again, successfully obtaining a whole stalk. The black tom began feeling rain splattering on his back as he collected the useful plant.

Lilykit ;; { Voidastral / bumblingbee - hollowclan nursery }
Being the runt of the litter, Lilykit was often squashed and left unnoticed by her siblings when she tried to rest. The pale-furred cat didn't use to mind very much, but now that the bunch has gotten bigger, Lilykit became easily frustrated and hot by being squished by her sisters.
It was especially bad when she was the only one actually making an effort to sleep. Like right now - Lionkit had been squirming for sometime and Swankit had gotten up to complain about this. Lilykit felt Swankit didn't have the right to complain - the white-furred kit was being just as annoying as their golden-furred sibling. Lilykit let out a loud groan to signify she was awake and deeply irritated.
"Both of you, be quiet!" Lilykit whined, trying to get out from underneath them. "Mom and I are trying to sleep." Successfully popping from below her sisters, Lilykit buried herself in Cherryfur's flank and curled her fluffy tail over her head.

( Voidastral 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓬𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓭𝔂 ) Cherryfur stirred even more now that Lilykit had jumped in on the conversation, adding to the loudness of their voices. She drowsily lifted her head and blinked the sleep away, yawning. She cast her eyes to her three kits. "What's goin' on here? What's with all this shouting and movin' about?" She asked through her drowsiness. Cherryfur was a newly-made queen not too long ago. It was crazy for her! One minute, she was a warrior, patrolling the borders and hunting for her Clan. The next minute, her heart belonged to a charming cat of the same Clan and gave birth to his kits. Being a mother for the first time and hearing the heartbreaking tale of Featherfall's kits, Cherryfur worried over her own kits' well-being. Last night, she stayed up to watch over her daughters until the sun was beginning to rise. Cherryfur couldn't help but pass out and sleep the morning away. Swankit looked up at her mother and begun whining. As she normally does when she didn't like something. "Lionkit wouldn't stop moving and Lilykit just yelled at us!"

Lionkit huffs softly. "Neither of you guys are any fun" she moves back toward the nursery entrance. She just wants a small peek out of the den. Just a small one. Nothing much. Nope. She acknowledges her mother and sisters but doesnt quite respond other than a nod.

Sootshine -> Vinepaw 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓬𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓭𝔂Sootshine took the borage from Vinepaw, leaving him to carry the goldenrod. "Alrif, jus colsfoo an we can go ba" Sootshine tried to say to Vinepaw, her mouth muffled by the herbs. Feeling the rain on her pelt, Sootshine wondered if she should just take what they had and go back. And yet they were so close to where the coltsfoot was, it seemed just right to grab it now. Hurrying her pawsteps, she led the way to where the herb normally could be found

She acknowledges her mother and sisters but doesnt quite respond other than a nod. "Hey now, you three. There's no need to be so mean to each other," Cherryfur said, wrapping her tail around her daughters. She then tilted her head curiously. "Everyday you find new ways to annoy each other and that just astonishes me!" "It's not my fault Lionkit and Lilykit keep saying things that bother me! Lionkit won't stop moving!" Swankit whined, her tail lashing in frustration. Cherryfur purred in amusement. "Sounds like a certain kit wants to go outside for a while! Isn't that right, Lionkit?" Although Cherryfur was still feeling so tired, who was she to deny her daughter's eagerness to leave the nursery? Her kits surely were old enough to explore their camp, right?

"Oh yes! Can I!!" lionkits voice is filled with pure excitement. The kit is ecstatic over being able to venture off for the first time. Shes witnessed bits of the camp but never been able to fully exit the nursery.

"Oh yes! Can I!!" lionkits voice is filled with pure excitement. The kit is ecstatic over being able to venture off for the first time. Shes witnessed bits of the camp but never been able to fully exit the nursery. "Of course!" Cherryfur answered, equally as excited as her daughter. "Just let me get up first. And also try not to bother your sisters too much when they're sleeping next time, okay?" She slowly got to her feet, her body heavy with exhaustion. She looked to Swankit and Lilykit. "You two can come along as well! You've yet to see the rest of the camp!" The young queen said, thrilled that her daughters are finally going to see their home in all its glory. Swankit looked mortified at such an invitation. "I don't wanna go out there! It's scary!" "Oh, it's not so scary. You'll see! And you're not gonna be alone." "I know! But. . .but what if the cats are mean?" "Don't be silly! The cats here are very nice. If you're still scared, you can stay with me until you're brave enough to explore with your sisters. How's that sound?" Swankit hesitated and looked around the walls and safety of the nursery. She has never once attempted to leave here. She hasn't even peeked out of the entrance like Lionkit always had! She really didn't want to leave. But. . .at the same time, Swankit didn't fancy the idea of staying in here forever. The thought of growing up in a den meant for kits and queens was incredibly embarrassing. The white-furred kit reluctantly returned her mother's gaze and nodded slightly. "O-okay. . ." she answered at last. Purring, Cherryfur used her tail to lead her kits outside. "Time to get outta the den for a while, then!" Cherryfur announced cheerfully. Even when tired, the joy and excitement in her overshadowed it entirely.

With the sun now high, Riverglow lifted his head, assured that under the safety of daylight, his clan-mates would be safer, no longer requiring him to stand guard. The first thing his mind went to as he turned away from his post were the new members of the clan, his three daughters, the pride of his life. He lifted his head to see Cherryfur corralling them out of the nursery. His whiskers twitched in amusement, had they not left the nursery before? This would be their first time. Tiny spikes of fear touched him, a protective nature that was so primal he didn't quite understand, but his head began to cloud with ridiculous thoughts. What if they get squished by a cat who's not looking where they're going? What if they get lost in the fresh kill pile and can't get out? What if a hawk swoops in to grab them?! These fears were normal of a new father, and while part of him knew he was acting crazy, he still quickly trotted over to them to ease his worry. He would swat a bird right out of the sky if it got to close to his children.
He passed right past Featherfall without even noticing her standing at the entrance of the warriors den. The white she-cat bowed her head, avoiding eye contact. She only looked back up when the tom had passed her, to see him walking at a brisk pace towards the new kittens. Her blue eyes glowed with a strange mix of happiness and misery. She was delighted that the clan was growing, and that Cherryfur (a very sweet warrior, the two of them got along quite well) had given a successful, and safe birth. But... Looking at the three daughters of Riverglow and Cherryfur only reminded her of the scars. Featherfall shook her head as if to clear it. She shouldn't think such things, it was wrong. The past was behind her, Riverglow had chosen a good mate, and she was happy for Cherryfur. The white warrior forced a smile to her face and trotted towards the exit of camp. Maybe some fresh air was what she needed...
"Well, well, well, look who's walked themselves out of the nursery for the first time!" Riverglow's deep voice must have been booming to the young girls as they whipped around to see their father striding towards them. He was a mess with purrs, first brushing his forehead against his mate's flank before licking each of their foreheads. The fur on Lionkit's head now especially messed up. He looked to Swankit, who from her body language, was the most scared. She was huddled beside her mother, eyes darting around. Lionkit on the other hand, was more than enthused. His eyes glowed with pride, looking at the daughter who most reflected his own looks. He was sure all of them would grow into strong, loyal warriors, one's all of HollowClan would know of. "Well, you be careful now. Don't go getting tangled under a warrior's paws, they have very important things to take care of, and don't need a couple of fur-balls running around." He purred, his voice a light-hearted jeer.

"Don't worry, I'll be sure our three little scamps don't get hurt in any way!" While Cherryfur and Riverglow laughed, Swankit looked up at her father. Great StarClan, he's massive! Has he always been this big? And that voice! So powerful! The young she-kit had to force herself not to hide behind her mother from her own father, his size and voice both intimidating to her. "Uh. . .h-hello, dad," Swankit awkwardly greeted. "The camp is. . .really big. . . !"

{ We'll wait for Quail and Cloudy to ring in too c: }
Riverglow lowered his head closer to Swankit as she spoke, as her voice was softer than her siblings. His eyes were warm, glowing with love. A deep purr left him, rumbling the ground the small white kitten stood on. "It is, my dear... But, when you get to be daddy's age, it won't look that big to you." He gently ran the tip of his muzzle across her own. She was so... tiny... She precious, and weak, and fragile. From the moment his kits were born, it was though Riverglow understood he now had a larger responsibility, more than he even had to his clan. He only wished that he could spend more time with his girls, but he was a trusted warrior, and understood that his duty to the clan had to be filled. "One day you'll even begin to think that this world is too small."

It would be a lie to say Lionkit wasn't the first one to race out of the nursery and into the open camp clearing. The air smelled fresher to her than that of the nursery. It felt new and inviting. Some smells were incredibly familiar while others overwhelmed her with a new scent. Lionkit is just so excited to finally be out in the sun like a proper cat. "Wow... This is even better than the inside view from the nursery!" she practically purred as she zoomed and bounced from place to place. Sure, sooner or later this place would become more or less like the nursery. As a cat who can't be fully satisfied this place will become stuffy for her as an apprentice. However, the outside is constantly changing, leaving her with a future hope of never becoming bored with the surrounding terrain. Lionkit, unable to appreciate it now, will know that it's always comforting to have a place that is home, whether she's seen it all before or not. The familiarity is safe for her to have knowledge of.
However, that's for a future date, as of now Lionkit is enjoying her naivety to the camp clearing and all that it holds. Once her father arrives Lionkit bounds toward him, "Has the camp always been this big! This is amazing!" Lionkit makes a few laps around her father and siblings before stopping next to Swankit and nudges her "See! Isn't it great?!" Lionkit is almost on the verge of vibrating from pure energy. No kit should ever be this excited about a camp clearing. But, then to think, Lionkit is thinking over the ideas of how much adventuring she can do within the next few moons, then as an apprentice and, wow. She's getting really far ahead of herself. Lionkit ought to slow down here but she truly can't control her excitement. As she thinks further she reminds herself that shes significantly smaller than Swankit. Lilykit and her stand within a similar stature but neither of them are normal sized kits. Just. Remain positive, Lionkit need not over think much, she is only so young. Truly she would make a great warrior...

(Hello friends. Sorry I had a busy day yesterday ^_^)
Blackfang had watched the young kits, smiling seeing their enthusiasm. However, while he enjoyed seeing his clan grow, he was concerned about Featherfall who had padded off just moments ago. Glancing around, the black tom left the camp following Featehrfall's scent. After awhile of looking around he called out. "Featherfall? You out here?"

Featherfall's tufted ears perked in the direction of her name being called out. She had stepped out of the camp, paws just leaving the smooth, rocky surface of the gorge. She turned around to face Blackfang, the older warrior was someone who she deeply respected. She remembered being very young when she witnessed his warrior ceremony. For a moment her head drifted back to the image of him standing next to Aspenstar, eyes glowing with accomplishment. Featherfall snapped from her daze, blinking her dark blue eyes. Her paws turned to face him, a warm smile lit her face, shrouding any sadness that might have once prevailed. "Hello Blackfang," She mewed to him in her voice, as warm and smooth as milk. "I'm sorry, I was just out for a walk," She dipped her head respectfully.
