"the only kinda school I know is where you learn about history, science, math and other boring subjects." Toya says thinking of his school back at home, if time ran the same here as of there, his mother would be worried sick by now and then adds after pushing the thought aside. "well actually, art and gym weren't that bad..."

She blinked at him, frowning at the term "Yoki" or whatever he just said. "Um.. What's a... whatever you called yourself?" She asked, clearly confused. She had plenty to do as well, and wanted to get back to her world as soon as she could. Rumor on the street was that there was a rebellion going on in Balbadd, and she wanted to figure out what was going on. "Ah? Youkai, you mean?" Kichirou grinned smugly, his mood lightened a bit now that he got to explain it to her. "A youkai is, well... There's no real direct translation for the word that encompasses all aspects of it, but we're considered to be things like apparitions. Supernatural phenomenon. Monsters, or even demons, if you're one such as myself.~" He seemed to gloat about it, taking a fair bit of pride in his status. "We're not only fox spirits-- kitsune-- there's faceless ghosts that disguise as humans until they show they have no face; tortured dog spirits that are the loyal servants to those who buried them alive and left them to starve; and us kitsune, if we aren't affiliated with one of the gods of Japan, are cunning, evil spirits that decieve and do evil- from my readings on ourselves, it appears that one of us even conspired to kill an emperor." Kichirou's grin became a more fiendish smile, an attempt to scare Ameena. "It's quite interesting, right?" {{Kichi top being a jerk just to make yourself feel better dang it fox}}

"oh, I'm Toya Storms and this is my partner Aegiomon." Toya says with a smile motioning to Aegiomon who waved when toya introduced him. "um...by any chance do you know where we are?" Aegiomon asks hopefully.

"So are you like a Djinn?" She asked, honestly curious. The part on attempting to kill an emperor made her a little uncomfortable, and yet, she wanted to know if he was a Djinn, like the one who thrived in her metal vessel. She heard about angry spirits before, but she thought they where simply myths, or that they where in dungeons. She studied the fox- er youkai- with interest, wondering if he was the one who attempted to kill the emperor.
There was silence, before a small voice answering "No. I don't. I fell asleep, and then I woke up here," She responded. The girl made no move to go down the tree.

Ameena didn't appear scared, or at the very least startled. Regardless, he kept his cool, and answered her. "I don't know of Di... Dej... Djinn? However you say it, I've never heard of them. I'm just some fox that lives to disrupt the peace in whatever way I can. It's the least I can do." He gave her in inquisitive, yet cold glare, clearly wondering what these Djinn were, and why she thought he was one.

"this is worse then the digiworld....at you knew where we were there..." Toya says to Aegiomon who nodded in agreement, not liking the idea they weren't in the digiworld or possibly the human world. Toya then realized he forgot to ask her about her name. "oh by the way, whats your name?"

"Djinns are... mystical creatures. They are beings who live in magic vessels and will either grant you one wish, or sometimes they will travel with you. They are spirits that inhabit these vessels and you can borrow their power." She explained, taking her blade out of the sheath, showing him the symbol. "Like this." then she caught the last part of his comment, "Disrupt peace, eh?" "Hm..." Kichirou inspected the mark as it was shown to him, a bit curious of whatever mystical thing was stuck in that blade. "The closest thing to that mark, from what I know, is the crest that sword-makers forge on samurai blades. It's just a signature, though. But with using these... Djinn," he paused to check if he said it right, "it reminds me of people who use familiars. Like those dog spirits, the head of the dead dog is stored away and then the spirit does as you want it to. Possession is what they're best for, from what I've heard. 'Parrently people used to have kitsune to do that too, but I'm not one of those loosers." He chuckled a bit when she brought that tidbit up. "Yeah, I go out of my way to make things worse for people, or steal, or desecrate public property-- When you've been living for centuries shunned by humanity when they find out about you, there's only so much you can do before you get tired and bored, y'know?"

Kichirou, though amused with the fact Ameena thought he'd find good company with her brother, was rather baffled with the new terms she brought up afterwards. "A metal vessel...? I'm guessing the vessel is a synonym for an equip, but, what do you mean by full and partial? To be contained, they'd need to be completely sealed, right...? And what's Magoi?" He ruffled his tails some, absolutely perplexed.

"The metal vessel is what the Djinn live in. The Djinn that resides in this one is named Caim," At the sound of the Djinns name the five-pointed star glowed on the short blade, as if a response to her calling it. "Obtaining either equip requires Magoi... the best way to describe that is... well, I guess its like your own reserve of magic. The first type of equip allows you access to what your Djinns weapon is, and part of its power. Caims weapon is a staff that has a large arrow at the end of it, almost like a spear, that can conduct electricity. If I focus hard enough, though, I can transfer the equip into this blade here, so I can fight close combat with it. This doesn't use up a ton of magoi, and you can keep fighting with it extended periods of time. The Full Djinn equip is different. Its almost like a possession, where all of the Djinns power, and even some of the Djinns personality is transferred into your body. It takes up a ton of Magoi, and if your not careful you could kill yourself or others around you. I can't do a full equip, yet. I'm training for it though." She explained the best she could, not realizing that it wasn't common knowledge.

Kichirou seemed rather sure that he was right in his summary of his understandings. There wasn't anything like that limiting him, or at least anything super technical like this Magoi and Djinn and Equip stuff seemed to be. He could use magic if he had the energy to, and he'd fight till he was beat to the ground, simple as that. Of course, he had his limits and quirks- a low tolerance for pain being one of them, along with a build not suited for physical violence; however, he was fairly excelled in his other abilities, so his inherent weaknesses weren't a big issue for him.

" Exactly," She said, suddenly excited. It was clear she was a fan of this subject. "Y'see, sometimes people can have more than one Djinn, which live in dungeons. This was supposed to be second dungeon, before I ended up here." She explained, setting her blade carefully back into her tunic, wanting to make sure it was safe. "So you were heading to a dungeon and ended up here instead? Strange." Kichirou was pleased with himself for his comprehension of the subject before, but now his interest turned more towards the current predicament he was in. "When I came here, I just fell asleep at my home, then I woke up here. I wasn't really with anyone." He chose to omit the fact he woke up in a dumpster, mostly out of dignity.

"I wonder what the purpose of us being here is." She murmured, halfway to herself. It made no sense. They seemed to be from two absolutely different worlds, what could they have in connection with each other? This fox-like creature had nothing to do with her world at all. "My guess is that we got dragged out here for someone else's fun somehow," Kichirou stated. It was apparent he didn't trust this place now that he thought about the peculiarity of the situation more, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from moving along and getting home. "But whatever the reason is, my priority is on getting back to where I'm from, and to do that I need to know the location of this place on a map." He started walking off towards a larger building he sighted a few blocks down, but paused to look at Ameena. "Are you going to come with me, or what?"

"Glad to see you're coming. We could walk and talk, if you want." Kichirou walked along with purpose in every step- confident strides and a swish of his tails as he progressed. Despite that cool aura to him, he kept his ears perked and senses alert if something or someone else were to pop up, but as of now he couldn't scent out any other newcomers. Then again, he was standing next to a human and he'd already had a dumpster dive earlier, so who knew if his nose was reliable. He opted for eyesight instead, reading signs on the buildings, looking for any libraries or town halls.

"What language is that?" She asked, noting the strange markings on the signs. She never saw these markings before in her life. The girl was trying to look at her surroundings, attempting not to succumb to the temptation of petting Kichi. His fur just looked so fluffy. "It seems like English to me... It's not what the language is back home, but I learned it over time," Kichirou explained, reading over the signs. He silently mouthed the words to himself as he made out the text. He may know English and learned it quickly, but he wasn't as comfortable with it as he was reading Japanese.

"Whats the digiworld?" The twelve year old asked, curious. "ah, well...the digiworld is a digital world that's parallel to earth." Toya says explaining what he knew. "it was created from earths first technology and expanded as technology did." Toya says and then lets Aegiomon take over. "then sometime the four great Holy digimon were created, Azulongmon being one of them. I cant remember how or when other digimon were created afterward, but I do know some of earths myths and legends are basiced off Digimon though." Aegiomon says his eyes shining slightly happily as he explained.

"... English?" The teen sounded incredibly confused. She had never heard of that language before. The girl could read in two languages from her home world, and could speak in three, and yet... She never saw such strange letterings before in her life. They where so... blocky? The languages back in her home where either written in smooth curves or in Hieroglyphics. ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ O O C Guess who made themselves a cool layout. >w> Maybe I could eventually make one specifically for Kichi...R P Kichirou took a delay before answering Ameena, "Yes, English. It's a very complicated language, and the written alphabet isn't like what I'm used to reading. I assume you haven't heard of the English before?" He was a bit frustrated, unable to find his goal of the library, so his tone was a bit sharp. He read on a few more building labels and directory signs and lashed his tails in irritation. Still no luck.
If it was going to continue to be this way, he Kichirou reckoned he'd get better luck getting where he needed to through aimless wandering rather than seeking out the correct building. Either that, or finding someone else who lived here longer.

She shook her head, looking rather frustrated. "No. I've never heard of it. I know how to read Aramaic, Demonic, and Hieroglyphs," She explained, wondering what the fox was looking for but opting not to pry.
(That looks awesome!) ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ O O C Thank you! ^^R P "Never heard of Aramaic before," Kichirou muttered with a sigh. He stopped, then turned to look back at Ameena. His expression showed his uncertainty, as much as he didn't want to admit he was lost.
"Do you think we're the only ones here?" he asked. "I just can't seem to find a place to gather information, and maybe there's a person who's been around longer."

"I wouldn't be surprised if there was. Perhaps we should go deeper into the city, towards the center? Maybe thats where everyone went." If any tragedy struck her home, they would always go straight to the center of the city, due to it being the safest place in the city. "Aramaic is my home language, but usually only royalty or upper class citizens know how to read and right in it." She bent down, and began writing in the ancient language. She wrote her name, enjoying the soft swirls of her native language. ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ ☉ O O C N/A.R P Kichirou nodded at her response, he thought that would be reasonable enough. Before he thought to run off down the road towards the city center, he watched Ameena write. Well, to him it appeared like she was scribbling. "Are you done yet?" he questioned with an impatient tone.
