I'm still not sure how to feel about this.

I don't know either. Sounds like Crowfeather is going to be exiled or something.

Eeyup. Not surprised, they'll definitely baby him. I'll still read it nonetheless though.

breezepelt is probably going to try and murder someone and the entire book is crowfeather trying to cover for him in an attempt to make amends

I think that it's gonna revolve around Crowfeather attempting to forgive Breezepelt and possibly reconcile with Nightcloud. I also believe that this book will include lots about Heathertail and Breezepelt's kits. I read a fact that Breezepelt is apparently a good father to his kits because he wants to show Crowfeather how to be a father.
Some good stuff...

An unusual threat. An unusual threat.
I beg your paranoid Erins, but what is 'unusable' by Warrior Standards now ? Especially after they had ghost army physically manifest, with them killing other ghosts and living cats. A literal Battle between cat heaven and hell.
What's next? A rabbit uprising? The leader of which was the same rabbit who blinded Longtail?

"Crowfeather is struggling to forgive the Clanmates who betrayed them—including his own son, Breezepelt."
So they remembered that it wasn't just Breezepelt who trained in the Dark Forest? In Dovewing's Silence, it was only Breezepelt who was mentioned to have trained in the DF. Sunstrike, Larkwing, Furzepelt and Harespring also trained there. If they give mention to Harespring being a trainee, that makes you wonder how Crowfeather took him replacing his mother. Speaking of which, I still want to see Crowfeather's reaction to Ashfoot's death.
Is this book going to take place around the same time as the flood from Bramblestar's Storm?

I want this book to start during Dovewing's Silence and to end during A Vision Of Shadows with him becoming deputy.

I'm just glad we now know it's focus, and it seems it'll focus on his relationship with Breezepelt.
Which probably means more Breezepelt focus in general from the looks of it. Wonder what it means by 'balancing his duty to his kin', will he finally pay more attention to Breezepelt now that the Leafpool BS is dead and resolved? Can't be sure of it, but you never know with these books.

Please
Please
Please do not let Crowfeather’s actions be excused and make him into the victim. Please. Sigh. I’m gonna read it anyway, but god, I know it’s going to make me heated XD

And I just really hope for any sort of Breezepelt redemption/characterization. Pleaseee. And honestly I know I’ll probably only be happy with Harespring/star and Heathertail but pleassse.

Breezepelt was the only traitor from his Clan (unless this somehow gets retconed in CT that there were more), but there were three other cats in his Clan who trained in the Dark Forest with him who survived the battle: Harespring, Larkwing, and Furzepet (before dying in Thunder and Shadow).

I hope they don't retcon Larkwing out. She was stated to be Sedgewhisker and Emberfoot's daughter on Kate's Blog. Fernstripe's sister. She was also an apprentice in the allegiances of Thunder and Shadow with Furzepelt as her mentor. But Larkwing was introduced at a gathering as an apprentice in TFW (I think) alongside Crouchpaw (Crouchfoot). These two were warriors by the time Bramblestar's Storm came about.

I was only referring to those who survived the battle. I know Sunstrike trained there, but she died during the fight.
