About
BreezeClan is made up of mostly small cats which make their home on moorlands between luscious meadows and rocky terrain. There is little cover to be found on their landscape save for the singular tree which rises from the ground in the middle of their territory. The grasses here are for the most part short due to the many rabbits and hares which make the moor their home. They are swifter than most of the other clans, although perhaps some MeadowClan cats might give them a run for their fresh-kill pile. The shrubs on the moor are quite stunted and only grow a few inches and are few and far between. Closer to their borders between the moorland and the meadow they might find a bit more fertile soils where plants grow better - especially the herbs their clan may well need. Beyond them are hills which no Clan has laid claim to, but then there are twoleg dens and fields of corn and grains in those hills and the valley where one will find a twoleg place. While they do not live on the elevations of the tor lands, they are on grounds at a higher levitation than all but TorClan. If the cats of BreezeClan are not out in the open they might well suffer from some form of claustrophobia.
BreezeClan will sometimes allow a group of traveling loners to stay with them for a short while. However they still do not abide thieves or those who do not help provide for the clan. Yet they are perhaps the most hospitable with their guests. Unless they happen to be trouble making rogues then they'll leap to battle. While it is now rare for the clan to take in kittypets as members they do seem to be on friendly terms with kittypets as long as they don't overstay their welcome - especially in leafbare or other lean times. Yet they prefer to keep the peace, but will still defend their borders trespassers and prey thieves.
BreezeClan adores kits and no matter where a kit comes from they will do their best to help said kits. They are the most unlikely to steal anyone else's kits, but they are not above taking them from rogues and raising them as clan so that the rogue population does not swell in number. Yet any troublemaking rogue born kits once apprentice age may well be banished from the clans if they prove too much of a problem for the clan - especially if they do not follow the warrior code.
History
BreezeClan is one of seven clans that came to be countless seasons ago when their ancestors were caught by twolegs and placed in large dens which could float on water (to the twolegs this would be the 11th century Norsemen). On these dens which floated on water for days and moons on end their ancestors caught rats and were given bits of fish by the twolegs when there were not enough rats as kits were born. Some of these cats and their kits escaped once the twolegs anchored in the New World and found themselves living in the wild like their long distant ancestors before them. Still others remained on the ships and returned again and again with other cats who were used to catch vermin on the floating twoleg dens.
One of the first cats to think it would be easier to live as a group rather than on ones own was Breena so named by the twolegs while they crossed over the sun-drown place. Six others too thought of this and so they and Breena began their camps. Later on they were given nine lives by StarClan and so Breena became Breezestar for she had settled her camp in an area of breezy moorland in the lake territories.
BreezeClan, on full moon nights visits with the other six clans that were born at the same time as their own ancestor, Breezestar was given her nine lives. These clans are known as BoulderClan, EvergreenClan, LakeClan, MeadowClan, ShadeClan and TorClan.
Rules
oo1. Forum rules. Please be sure to follow them.
oo2. Respect is to be given to everyone. Respect must be given to the rules too.
oo3. Be sure to include others in plots, or just let anyone jump in and see what happens.
oo4. In regards to activity I hope to see each individual on a minimum of thrice a week to roleplay. More-so for anyone holding an important role such as leader, deputy, medicine cat, or medicine cat apprentice. If one will need to be absent for over a week please let me know. Otherwise you'll be removed from the roleplay after a fortnight.
oo5. In regards to literacy we'd like to see proper capitalization, punctuation and spelling. Spell-check and Grammarly are your friends. However a few mishaps here and there can be overlooked. But please no 'txt speak' or the like. In OoC its fine.
oo6. Characters should have both weaknesses and strengths. No character is perfect nor the opposite. QUILTBAG+ characters are more than welcome to join. Please note however that while cats cannot have surgery they can still choose to use whatever pronouns they prefer. Just don't make this their only trait.
oo7. There is to be no godmodding, powerplay, or metagaming. If your character tries to kill someone else's character it is up to them whether or not their own character dies. Also please be realistic for no cat can catch every bit of prey, or never get hurt in battle whether against other cats or predators.
oo8. Cats do age and so elders should eventually join StarClan.
oo9. Apprentices can have neither mate nor kits. Only once an apprentice has gained warrior status may they take on a mate. Apprentices however may have crushes.
o10. Please no spotlighting. No one individual should be the center of attention. Not all the time anyway.
o11. Please try to make characters as realistic as possible. At least realistic enough to where they'd fit into the books. Which means no magical powers, not even those seen in PoT or OotS.
o12. Please do not spam or advertise here, thank you.
o13. Please note you may only play one high ranking role at any given time. These are clan leader, deputy, medicine cat, or medicine cat apprentice.
o14. Do note that you may not roleplay until you've used the joining form located at the end of the clan allegiance. And because this is a claim-a-cat clan you'll need to choose a pre-existing feline who is open.
o15. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to help in any way.
