(Palefoot,so much for flying under the radar.you just made someone mad at you for talking lol)
"I never said I didn't want to help."Palefoot replied. He knew he was getting on his nerves but he didn't particularly care. All he did was give his opinion and back it up,to a small extent, but still. He didn't know what was going through Blackleopard's head but judging from his remark,it wasn't anything good about him.But like before,he didn't care,he just said what he thought. Was it too much for him?Who knew,it's not like anyone cared about what anyone else thought. It's always, this is my opinion so it;s how everyone is going to feel.He didn't like the thought of sick kits anymore than Blackleopard."If I may ask without getting my tail cut off,why are there holes in the first place?"

Having been busy moving the fresh-kill to a dryer area, Daydust hadn't really noticed the commotion of cats running in and out of the camp. Then again, she probably wouldn't have noticed anyways. But upon finishing her work and padding towards the warriors den, she would have been hard-pressed to miss the unfamiliar tabby under one of the scruffy bordering bushes, or the milk-scent of the new mother and her kits. The spotted molly padded towards the den, murmuring a brief congratulations but keeping her distance. Whether it was nerves or being polite and not crowding the leader. "You need someone to help?" Daydust mewed absently, not really aware of what Palefoot and Blackleopard were doing but willing to comply. It was more interesting then trying to fall asleep in a damp bed of moss.

The dark furred tom rolled his eyes, tail flicking from side to side with frustration at his conversation with the strange tom. He would have made a biting reply, had he not been distracted by a voice from the camp floor. Turning his head, he spotted Daydust and nodded his head in a thankful manner when his littermate approached. Casting her a grateful look, for he feared he might have swatted Palefoot over the ears if he continued to be a pest. Blackleopard turned to speak to her, "It would be helpful if you could find some ivy or moss to help us block some of the holes in the nursery," he explained their purpose of being around the nursery simply. Shrugging his shoulders in response to the tom cat's question, "Its an old stump, I don't think its withstood the wind and rain for so long."

"Figures."Palefoot responded, not knowing what else to say.He knew the tom was relieved when his sibling arrived by his posture."I know you're greatful for your sister showed up to end this."He replied blandly. It was a gift Palefoot had,to be able to tell how someone feels. It's only what you read that should make you feel bad.He didn't know how many cats he had annoyed and frustrated over the course of time and he could understand why. It's not every day you meet a cat that disagrees with all your ideas.Maybe it was just him but he didn't know why everyone gets mad at him for disagreeing.

(in fairness bn, it was a reasonable disagreement)
"If you stopped being mousebrained I wouldn't have to be grateful," was Blackleopard's ill natured reply, he was tired, cold and soaked, none of which were helping with his temper at the moment. His tail continued to flick from side to side as he regarding the pale furred tom cat with a frustrated stare, "Now are you actually going to try and help, cause if you are going to continue to complain about keeping kits safe from rain, you can go help somewhere else." He grumbled, sitting down and wrapping his long black tail neatly around his tail. Watching Palefoot with an expectant look in his eyes.

Seemingly unable to pick up on the hostility Blackleopard was sending towards Palefoot, Daydust nodded politely to both the toms. If the territory was flooded, the branch paths should have been high enough to avoid being submerged, and there was plenty of moss growing on the bark, as well as the smallest purple flowers that grew in almost cloudlike clusters... no, she just needed to get materials to patch up the tree trunk. Right. Finally noticing the annoyed glare of her littermate, she brushed her tail against his flank briefly, trying to calm him, before quickly whisking it away. "I can head to the Path of Branches, maybe there could be some dock around the pond...I think those leaves repel water." If they didn't split up to get supplies, she was fairly sure the black warrior would claw the other tom's ears.

Cautiously the new mother tucked pieces of moss and feathers around the tiny litter of kits, cuddling them close to her side with her legs. She encircled them with her body, until they were nearly engulfed in her soft fur. Toying with her daughter’s ears with the tip of her nose, gently breathing hot air onto them to aid the shivering kits in warming up a little.”You are a sweet little thing, she purred to the molly at the centre of the three kits, watching as she yawned, a heart meltingly sweet thing to watch as she remained in awe of her newborns. “And you may need to grow into that big pelt of yours,” she added, grinning mostly to herself as she fought to keep her eyes open. Nuzzling the tom kit, she decided with a tired smile. “Plumekit.” (in case you hadn't seen it batman)
Turning his gaze down to his sister once again, the tom nodded in agreement. Thankful for the opportunity to get the pale coated warrior out of his fur, for fear he may well have taken the warrior's coat to line his own nest. The usually playful tom was growing shorter and shorter in temper the longer this day seemed to span on, and he wanted nothing more than to curl up in his den and sleep out the cold weather. "That sounds like a good idea," he grumbled with a flick of his tail. Nodding to his sister to lead the way as he deftly leapt from his spot on the nursery ceiling, looking to Palefoot before he moved to leave camp, looking at him to see if he deemed it a worthy job to come with the littermates to get supplies.

(I actually forgot what he disagreed about lol,I'll go back and find it)
"I want to help, gosh,I just don't know why you get worked up over someone's opinion."Palef replied conserningly. As painfully true as it was,Palefoot was worried about Blackleopard. He didn't know why but he was.Maybe it was cause his opinion had good reasoning behind it.Or maybe cause it struck closer to home than Palefoot realized."I'm not trying to be mouse-brained.And I'm not trying to make life frustrating.I know I am but I'm not trying to."He said not knowing if he was talking or something else. All he knew was this would not settle well.

((Sorry, something came up!))
Daydust blinked slowly, unsure of how to handle the conflict or even what they were fighting about. Her inability to process emotions and social niceties could easily alienate her, but it wasn't something that bothered her terribly often. Now, though, she wished she had the sort of natural understanding cats like Palefoot and Lilyflight had. Or...wait, Palefoot was one of the angry cats, because he was the one Blackleopard was arguing with? "If we hurry to the forest, we can have the den repaired before the coldest part of the night sets in." the molly said, detached tone easily covering her unsure thoughts. "Are both of you coming?" It was almost comical to hear Daydust being the one that was pushing for them to hurry up.

Floodkit shifted some more until he found his comfy spot again. The tom snuggled back into it and purred lightly when he found there was no more pain in his side. The kit mewled slightly before opening his small pink jaws in a silent yawn. He smacked his jaws just a bit afterwards before curling back into his mother's soft fur and snuggling as close as he could manage to get. After a bit he went and quiet and still, his body rising and falling slowly as he slept in peace, warm by his mother. Cygnetstar carefully lifted the tom kit from his place at her flank, to rest the small bundle of fluff between her slender paws. Tucking him close to the warmth of her chest with a soft purr, wishing she could have stayed in that moment for an eternity, but knowing soon enough she would need to leave and find out more about the stranger who was in camp. Trying not to think too hard on anything outside of the kits who needed her concentration in that moment, she began a careful grooming of her son. Gently nosing at the creature, pausing when she came to his leg and her eyes narrowed with worry. Running her warm muzzle against the deformed limb, she cuddled him protectively close. Vowing he would be fine, she would make sure of it. —————————————————————— Blackleopard would likely have forgotten about his grievances by the time morning came, but for now his frustrations continued as he followed his sister and their companion from the camp. The dark furred tom kept a careful alertness to make sure the trio wouldn’t come across any trouble on their journeys. He didnt want to know what sort of creatures the cold weather might have chased from their usual spots and into clan territory. The group pressed on until they had reached the Path of Branches.

Mouseheart was in the medicine cat den sorting herbs. He sometimes forgets some of the names of the herbs and he starts feeling so useless. What kind of medicine cat forgets their herbs? "Calm down Mousheart. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes," he told himself as he tried remembering the name of the herbs. Mouseheart sighed. He needed some fresh air. Mouseheart kind of missed his life as a warrior but knew he made the right choice. Healing his clanmates was as great of an honour as fighting, hunting, and dying for them.

A yawn breaking his expression, the dark furred Nightwatcher pulled himself from the warriors den. Hearing the sounds of mewling kits coming from the leader's den, he could assume that the clan had new members for its ranks, and the thought brought a grin to his expression. However, there was another scent which caught his attention which he found a more worrying one and his ears perked forward. Casting his gaze towards the bush under which a scent he didn't recognise lay, he hesitated. Wondering for a moment if some cat had been stupid enough to attempt to ambush camp, but assumed no cat could possibly be that incredibly idiotic, and hence chose to leave it be for the time being. Tail twitching with uncertainty, he approached the fresh kill pile, flaring his nostrils as he searched for something appealing to fill his hungry belly. But grumbling in frustration when he found it unfortunately low on offerings. Deciding a hunt would be a good idea, he lifted his head and looked around in search of cats to bring.
